Today I'm finally bringing you guys the ultimate guide to custom makeup in Drew Rest to Impress. Not only am I going to teach you guys how to level up your custom makeup skills, I'll also share some of my most popular custom makeup faces that you guys have been loving here on my channel so that you can recreate them in-game. I also have a ton more that I just came up for this video and that we're going to make together, so stay tuned for all of those. This is one of my most requested videos of all time, so I really hope that you guys are just as excited as I am for today's video. Before we get into it though...

Click on this icon right here to open up the in-game shop. Here you can buy the custom makeup game pass right here for 349 Robux. Once you buy it, you're ready to start slaying the runway with some really awesome custom makeup looks.
Now that you have a game pass, we can finally head over to the makeup section and start doing our custom makeup. Make sure to equip a skin color first though because you can't actually do that at the makeup station unless you already have some saved faces. To set a skin tone, all you have to do is head into this right here and you can pick a skin tone right here or set a custom one using the color wheel. Just interact with one of these makeup stations right here and you will get access to this menu.
If you have custom makeup unlocked, you're gonna have access to this brand new menu right here which includes all of the custom makeup options. When you first look at the menu, there are a... bunch of tabs available each of these correspond to a different part of the face like the eyes the eyebrows the lips and finally some skin makeup for each of the first four tabs you can only pick one option but for this fifth one you can actually layer six different custom makeup options so this is the one where you can go in and have a ton of fun creating a really cool look If this is your first time messing with custom makeup, I know this can be a little bit overwhelming, but don't worry, I'm going to break it down for you guys.
Now that you know how to use the custom makeup, I have a few tips to share with you guys to make everything easier. These are going to be especially helpful if you're new to custom makeup, but even if you've had it for a really long time, these are going to help you level up your makeup game for sure. The first tip I have for you is to not just use the brand new makeup options.
I know it can be really tempting to just go with the brand new shiny makeup. But if you scroll down a little bit, you will be able to find some really, really cool hidden gems. Some of these really, really old eye makeup looks are definitely outdated, and this applies to all of the other categories as well.
But I'm sure you can find a use for them in your makeup looks, so don't forget to actually scroll down and look through all of the options. I see a lot of people only using what they see at the top of the list, and while there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, it makes your faces look just like everybody else. Also, there's literally so much variety in all of the options that we have, so please, don't be afraid to scroll down and look at some of the older ones because there's some really, really cute ones.
In fact, I'm going to go ahead and share with you guys some of my favorite makeup options for every single category. For eyes, I really, really love this one. I also think these ones are really, really beautiful for some more dramatic makeup looks. These ones are definitely one of my favorites for the more spooky themes.
I love these for like ghost, carnival, a bunch of things. I love these ones in particular for goddess themes or more of like the ethereal themes. I also really love these eyes right here.
I think they are super beautiful and a perfect basic eye to use. These ones are definitely one of my absolute favorite eyes. I use these in a lot of different makeup looks.
They are so so pretty. These ones right here are also super beautiful and also one of my top favorite eyes. This eye right here is my favorite one to use for more dramatic or more like sassy makeup looks.
I really, really love these ones as well. I think they're just so feline and beautiful. And last but not least, I really, really love these closed eyes. You can use them for so many different things. I love these for themes where you want the character to look tired or sleepy, or maybe just have their eyes closed.
But I also really love using these to work as bottom lashes for themes where you want to look like a little girl. You want the eyes to be hollow, maybe for like some sort of spooky themes or fantasy themes. I think these are really, really beautiful, especially when you pair them with the code lashes.
For eyebrows, I really do like all of them. I think they all have a different purpose. I will go ahead and share some of my absolute favorite ones with you though. I love these brand new eyebrows. I think they're so beautiful and you can actually color them, which is awesome.
I love using these straight eyebrows as well. I think they're really, really pretty. These are one of my favorite eyebrows in the game. I think they are so beautiful, especially for more glam looks. These ones are also really, really similar, but I love them as well.
I definitely overuse these ones as well, but I think they are so, so beautiful. I love using these super thin eyebrows as well. I think they can be really cool for certain themes.
I also really, really love using these eyebrows right here for all sorts of things. These eyebrows are really, really cute, especially for a bunch of like the more kawaii themes. I especially love using these ones in the gyaru theme. I think they are perfect for that one. I also really really like using these ones for like goddess makeup looks or more like ethereal makeup looks.
Lastly, these are one of the older eyebrow options, but I also really really like these ones especially because we don't actually have a lot of like light eyebrows in the game, so I really really like these ones. For the lips, we have a ton of really great options, but there are some that stick out to me and that you probably know from watching my videos that I really, really like to use. All of the new lips are absolutely beautiful.
I think they are all amazing. These clown lips as well are so, so pretty, and I love the fact that you can actually color them. I really love these lips as well. I just love how pouty they are.
My favorite lips, though, are definitely some of the super old options that you have to scroll all the way down to get to. Once you get to this row right here, you're going to find these lips, which you guys know are my absolute favorite lips in the entire game. I use these for like a majority of my makeup looks.
I love the fact that you can color these freely as well, which you can't really do with a lot of the other lips. So I think this is perfect. These ones as well are super, super beautiful.
I really, really love these ones. I also really love these ones right here. Basically, this entire third row from the bottom has my heart.
I use these for literally everything. These smiley lips are super underrated because I love using these for super creepy themes where you want the character to be smiling. I do also like to use these for like clown makeup looks or like creepy dolls, things like that.
I think they're really, really fun to use. In the fourth tab, we have all of our contour and highlight options. All of them are really, really beautiful and I do use the majority of them, but there are some that I use way more than others. The soft contour right here is one of my favorites.
It looks a little bit weird without any sort of eyes, but I promise you it is amazing. My absolutely overused makeup item from this section though would definitely be these two highlights. I'm sure you guys know I really love a really highlighted center of the face in my makeup looks. These two are absolutely perfect for that and I love that you can color them freely.
Usually I like to use these by just coloring them a really really light version of whatever skin tone that I have to just give a really really bright look to the face. I think the contours are really beautiful as well, but these highlights right here are definitely my most used ever. However, you can actually mix the highlight and the contour because we also have highlights in this final tab right here.
So you can layer them here as well. This final tab is definitely the one where we can have a ton of fun. Here is where you can layer six different makeup options to create a really, really beautiful look.
I don't really have any favorites in this category. It just depends on what look I'm going for. Here we go.
But I will share with you guys some that I really, really like to use a lot. For the nose, I really, really like this one right here. I also really love to use this one. It's super snatched and really underrated. I know it's a really old nose, but I use it for like so many things.
I think it's really, really cute. I also really love using this new button nose right here. I think it may be my brand new favorite nose. This nose right here as well is just like a more contoured and defined version of the button nose.
And I think it is so, so cute as well. For eyeshadow, I don't really have any favorites. Again, it just depends on what look I'm going for, but I do really love this new eyeshadow look that they added.
I also really, really love this double winged liner. I think it is so useful for so many different looks. This one right here is also really, really beautiful.
For blush, I definitely think that all of them have uses depending on what you're going for. My favorites overall would definitely be this one right here. I also really, really love to use this one.
This blush is really, really adorable, and I really love that it adds some blush over the nose as well. I also really like this one for a super soft blush. And lastly, I really love this one right here because it can give you that really soft, blushy cheek.
Under the skin category, we have a lot of different options, and you can use these for a lot of different things, but I'm going to share with you guys some of my favorites. I love love love both of the freckle options. I think they are so cute I also love using the beauty marks as well just to add a little bit of interest to the makeup look We also have three different types of vitiligo right here And I mainly like to use these as different types of patterns on the face What I love about these vitiligo options is that you can freely color all of them So I like using them for a variety of things The main way I like to use them is maybe to create some sort of like a bloody pattern on the face but you can also color them any color to create all sorts of abstract and artistic, maybe like fantasy mythical looks. So my next tip and probably one of the most important tips in this entire video is to not just use the default colors.
A lot of the new eyes are actually completely customizable so you can change the color of them. Some of the old eyes though you can't actually change the color of so you want to keep in mind that you may just not be able to color some of them. The eyebrows are interesting because you can't actually color most of them.
but you can change how light or dark they are. So for example, if we're looking at these eyebrows right here, you can actually color them because they're one of the newer ones. However, if you maybe go to an eyebrow like this one, you can color it a little bit, but you can't really tell the difference. However, you can make it lighter or darker, and that is definitely a more noticeable change, so keep that in mind. The lips are also really interesting because the way the lips color is very unique to every single lip.
Again, any of the lips that are like... white and black or gray are usually able to be colored completely. Some of the lips like this one you can only change the color of the highlight so this one right here you can't actually make the color of the lip lighter but you can change the color of the highlight. Same thing applies to this lip right here you can't actually change how black the lip color is but you can change the color of the highlight on top.
So basically just play around until you figure out what colors you like and how you like your custom makeup to look. So my next tip is probably one of the most helpful tips because I think a lot of people just don't know that we have this option available. My next tip is to save your makeup faces to use as bases later on or even to really quickly equip some interesting looks for your outfits. A lot of people don't actually know that you can save custom makeup but you actually can and it's super super easy.
So now that we have this really random makeup look equipped I'm going to go ahead and save it. Let me show you guys how. You're going to go ahead and click on this icon right here and then right here you're going to click on the plus sign this is just going to save it as a custom makeup face that you can use later on you can toggle this right here where it says equip with skin color to yes or no if it's toggled to yes if i equip for example this custom makeup right here it's going to equip it with the skin tone i'm going to swap to this one right here and you're going to see it's going to do the exact same thing but if we don't want to equip the skin color and just the makeup you're going to go ahead and toggle this to no and click again And you can see this time it didn't actually copy the skin color.
You guys can see that I have an absolutely huge library of different makeup looks and bases that I love to use while I'm playing the game. I think it's so super helpful to have a bunch of different bases and a bunch of different makeup so that you can just use it later on. So definitely when you're creating makeup looks in FreePlay or even when you create a makeup look while you're playing the game regularly, go ahead and save it so that you can maybe use it later. Of course, if you're watching this video, you may not have a huge library of custom makeup faces already.
So I'm going to share with you guys some of my absolute favorite custom makeup bases that I like to use most of the time when I'm playing the game. These are also some of the ones that are the most highly requested from my comments. So I hope you guys like them. The first one is this makeup look right here.
I've gotten so many comments about this one. For the eyes, you're just going to equip this one in this hex color. For the eyebrows, equip these ones right here in this color.
For the lips, you're going to equip these ones in this color. For the contour, you're going to equip this one right here in this color. And for the custom makeup, I layered this one, this one, these freckles, and this blush. The next one I'm going to share with you is this face right here.
For eyes, equip these ones in this color. For the eyebrows, equip this one in this color. These are the lips that I used in this color.
This is the contour that I used in this color. And for the different layers, I went ahead and used this one, this one, this one, and this one. The next one I'm going to share with you is this face right here. You're going to equip these eyes, these brows, these lips right here, this contour.
And then for the layers, you're going to equip this one, this one, this one, and this one. I have gotten so many comments about this new Halloween makeup look as well, so I'm going to share this one with you as well. For the eyes, we're going to once again use this one. We're going to use these brows, these lips, this contour. And then for the layers, we're going to use this one, this one, this one, this nose, this eyeshadow, and this eyeshadow.
I also have this really pretty face that I love to use with my more tan complexions. Equip these eyes right here, these eyebrows, these lips. Once again, I'm sure you can tell they're a favorite of mine. This contour. And for the layers, we're going to equip this one, this one, and this one.
And you guys also requested a makeup look for a darker complexion, but you can use any of these makeup looks on a darker skin tone. Just change around the colors. However, this is definitely one of my favorite faces to use when I do create darker complexioned models. So I'm going to go ahead and show you how to make this one.
We're going to use these eyes right here. These eyebrows. these lips once again this contour and then for the layers i went ahead and used this one and this one if you're looking for some fantasy makeup faces like these ones don't worry i am going to share these with you guys later in the video but for now that is everything for the base makeup tip number four is to actually layer your makeup the last two tabs are where the real magic happens which are this one and this one especially on this last tab you can actually layer six different makeup options, so you can really go super crazy and have so much fun. Also, keep in mind that the order that you actually layer the makeup in affects how it ends up looking. For example, if I equipped this nose first, and then I went ahead and equipped this highlighter over top, you can see that the nose is actually completely blocked out by the highlighter.
It's covered up completely. Now, unless you're trying to go for like a Voldemort look where you just want to see the little nostrils, um, this is kind of not it. So all you have to do is actually change the order in which you equip these items. So we're going to equip the highlighter first, and then we're going to go ahead and equip the nose. This way, the nose actually shows up on top of the highlighter.
In this brand new update, they did make this a lot easier because you can just click and drag the order of your items. So I'm just going to go ahead and change the order of everything like this. And perfect. You can also go ahead and just click the X right here to delete any of the layers if you don't like them. So don't worry, you can make mistakes.
So now I'm going to share with you guys how I like to layer my makeup. We're starting off with this really basic face right here. You can see I only have the very basic contour equipped and only a nose equipped in this final category.
But we can equip up to five more options to make this makeup look really, really pop. First thing I'm going to do is go ahead and equip a brand new blush. We'll maybe go with this one. I'm going to just make the color of this a little bit peachier.
And then because I want her to be even blushier, I'm actually going to go ahead and add another one on top of that. You can see that that really amps up the blush. I also really, really want to equip a highlight to this face. So I'm going to equip this one. I'm going to move it down here.
That way it's not just covering everything. And then I'm going to change the color of this to maybe a slightly like yellowy color. Let's maybe go with something like this.
Look at how much of a difference that made already. It's so, so pretty. I also think I want to go ahead and add some eyeshadow to this face.
So we're going to layer two different eyeshadows. Let's maybe start with this one right here since I've been hyping this up so much. And then we'll maybe layer this one on top. I'm going to change the color of this one as well to like a brownie sort of a color. And I'm going to go ahead and move that one below the first one.
And you can see that makes such a big difference. Also keep in mind how much difference changing the order of the eyeshadow actually makes as well. You can really play around with this and create some really, really awesome looks. I'm going to delete the eyeshadow now though, and I'm going to show you guys how to layer some other things other than eyeshadow.
Let's go into the skin tab right here and maybe add some freckles. Maybe I also want some beauty marks, so I'll go ahead and equip these ones right here. Or maybe these ones. And just like that, we completely changed how the makeup looks.
Don't you think this one just looks so so much better than what we started with? In fact, I like it so much, I think I'm just gonna go ahead and save it. For reference, here's what we started with. And this is what it looks like with some more layers. Layering can make such a big difference in your makeup look.
So please, please, please play around with all the different options that you have. I am sure you're going to come up with something absolutely beautiful. Another example of layering that I have is this face right here. This one is really pretty, but it is a little bit basic. However, when you layer some blush, a little bit of freckle on top, it looks so much better.
Now it's finally time to talk about fantasy makeup. This also leads me into my next tip which is tip number five. Get creative for fantasy makeup. Fantasy makeup is a little bit different than the regular makeup because you have so many more options.
You can really do so many cool things with the fantasy makeup. I think the options are absolutely endless. You can see I have a look like this that is so so cool. These looks are really all just about layering a bunch of different items together to make it look super unique.
For example I love using this one for some sort of like a fairy or maybe even a plant monster. Also, if you just change the vitiligo to a red color, you can also use this for a zombie look, which is so awesome. You can also see this look right here where I played with some of the colors.
I made the highlight color a purple color so that it almost Like she's glowing purple. This one is really cool for maybe some sort of a witch or even a spooky ghost. Really anything. In this one right here, I used those white lashes that I told you about earlier in the video. This one looks so super cool.
I love using this ones for themes like angel or like a doll character. There's so many options. I also have this makeup look right here where I actually made use of the closed eyelashes and the smiley face.
I have another makeup look where I used this sort of a vibe and that's this one right here. I also have this one, which is a really cool spider makeup look. And this one right here that I love using for the Eldritch Horror theme. It's a very abstract, very cool makeup look. I also love making faces like this for some sort of like techie themes or even for like a sci-fi theme.
You can also layer faces like this. This isn't technically a fantasy face, but I do still count it as creative makeup. And you can use the closed eyelashes to make this sort of a makeup look where it looks like her eyes are like glowing a different color.
I also have a couple makeup faces for really cool underwater or like mermaid-y sort of themes. I love this one, this one, and this one. If you want tutorials for any specific makeup looks that you just saw that I don't end up including in this video, let me know in the comments down below and I will produce a little short showing you guys how to make that one.
but I am going to share some of my favorites and some of the ones that you guys requested in the comments below. First up, we have this zombie makeup look. I didn't equip any eyes for this one, so you can just skip that. You're going to use these eyebrows right here, these lips, this contour right here, and then for the layers, you're going to use this one, this one, this eyeshadow as well, this blush, this nose, and then you can use any of the Vitiligo patterns in a red color. I just went with this one.
The next one I'm going to share with you is this vampire makeup look. Use these eyes, these eyebrows, these lips right here, this contour, and for the layers you're going to do this one, this one, this one, this eyeshadow as well, also this one, and this nose. You guys requested this one like crazy so I'm going to show you guys how to make this werewolf makeup look as well.
You're going to use these eyes, these eyebrows, these lips, this contour right here, And then for the layers, you're going to use this one, this one, this one, and lastly, this one. Next up, I'm going to show you how to make this makeup face. Use these eyes, these eyebrows, these lips, again, this contour.
And then for the layers, you're going to use this one, this one, this one, also this one, this blush right here, and lastly, this nose. Here is a glam vampire look. Use these eyes.
these eyebrows, these lips right here, this highlight right here. And for the layers, you're going to use this one, this one, this blush, this eyeshadow, this other eyeshadow, and this blush as well. I'll also show you guys how to make this really cool mermaid, siren, underwater makeup look. Use these closed eyes, these eyebrows, these lips, this contour. And then for the layers, you're going to use this one.
this vitiligo pattern or any of the vitiligo patterns, this right here, and this eyeshadow. The last one I'm going to share with you is this face right here. Use these closed eyes once again, these eyebrows, these lips, this contour right here, and then for the layers you're going to use this one, this one, this nose, and lastly this blush.

Like I said, there's just absolutely so much variety in all the makeup looks that you can create. And honestly, I think you should just have fun, go crazy, and experiment.

The first one is this gothic makeup look right here. Equip these eyes, these eyebrows, these lips, this contour right here, and then for the layers you're going to do this one, this blush, and then this eyeshadow, and this eyeshadow. Somebody also requested a crying makeup look, so here's one for you.
Use these eyes, these eyebrows, these lips, this contour, and then for the layers, you're going to go with this one, this blush, this one, these tears, and also these tears, and this blush right here. Like I said, there is so much variety in the options we have available, and everyone has their own unique style. So maybe consider going into replay mode to just mess around with all the options and that way you can find out what you like. Hopefully all of these faces that I shared with you in this video today though were helpful because I really really love all of them. I hope you guys love them as much as I do.
