The fastest way to get better at deathball is by playing against better players and copying what they do But you guys are taking way too long to figure it out and I'm getting tired of playing matches against the same pro players So I'm gonna be showing you guys the most basic but useful tricks that will help you win in almost any normal lobby Alright, keep in mind that this is a beginner tutorial So if you're a good player already, you probably know most of these things but comment below anything you think I got wrong or something I don't know. But anyway, let's get into the video So there are pretty much only five principles of death log gameplay which are reaction time, curving, movement, geometry, and prediction. However, geometry and prediction are pretty advanced, so I'm only going to be covering the first three for this video.
So the first thing you want to be sure of is your ping. You want to make sure ideally that it is under 100 ms. So if it's over you can just switch servers. Oh yeah also if you're one of those people who just lie about their ping every time they lose, yeah just shut up.
No one wants to hear that. Leave the server you'll find better ping there. So for this round I'll be showing you guys how to properly react and position yourself. Ideally you'll also want to curve the ball but I'm leaving that out for this round so you guys can see how effective these two principles are.
Okay, so starting off, you'll notice that my camera is in this upward, zoomed-down position, and this is for me to take in as much information as possible. Okay, the next part is just to learn how to track. And to track is just knowing where the ball is going to, and where the actual ball is.
So what I'm just doing is just making sure that the ball and the ball target is inside of my screen. Once you keep track of these two things, you'll feel like your reaction time is faster, and you won't get caught off guard as much. So what's also important is my positioning. You should also notice that I try to keep a safe distance from every player, so if the ball gets hit to them, I'll have enough time to react.
For this round, I'm going to be showing you guys how to do some tricks you can use with your dash ability. Also, in a moment, you're going to see this guy try to target a lot of people, so I'm going to show you how to deal with that. Okay, in a moment, he's going to start to target me, and he thinks I'm running away, so I'm going to surprise him by going in for a clash using my dash ability. Okay for the face-off, I'm going to do a more advanced technique called a dash trick. So what I did there was get close with my dash and then I hit it away from them so that it forces them to panic click or pre-click, but I'm gonna do it again so watch pretty closely.
So this third round is just gonna be me putting the three principles together. If you want to see a part two to this video, then make sure to like, subscribe, and also leave a comment.
