Enhanced Mocha Makeup Tutorial Overview

hey everyone it's hind Dash welcome back to my YouTube channel today is a look that's actually very similar to The Latte makeup look that I did on Maria and we're back with Maria so I just loved that look so much so when we sat down we had to film for a Dior video so I was like what do we want to do for this look what kind of vibe do I want to go for and that look just never left my head we did do a couple of different looks on Instagram after that latte makeup look but I really wanted to get back to it and just really take it to the next level and then I started thinking you know what does this count as can this be a mocha makeup look can it be a latte makeup look what do these things even mean and I just settled on you know I want this look to look gorgeous and beautiful and a bit extra Timmy why are you sinking into my arms you're so cute and yes I will be randomly alternating my dogs in videos because I'm a very fair dog dad right Cosmo you so cute cute so me and Mario really wanted to kind of continue on with that look and like I said just really enhance it and just darken a few things tweak a few things here and there make things sharper the last look was a bit more Blended and kind of a bit more monochrome which I love this one just has a bit more of you know a bit of subtle Sparkle here and there a bit more highlight um a bit more gloss I think the other one was all matte if I'm not mistaken so I do work with Dior for new launches and I love this I got to use the new dor nude foundations if I'm not mistaken um and the bronzers and they are incredible I love that Foundation very lightweight almost it is a skin tint I would say it's very very perfecting and you'll get to see it in action it's beautiful and of course I mix it up with different products I use my own stuff I use a few things here and there but the majority of it will have a dor Vibe so yeah I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this video let me know what you think in the comments down below and as always don't forget to subscribe to my channel so you can see more of my videos coming up in the next weeks and I'll see you soon bye all right so here we have the beautiful Maria and of course I have done all the skin prep off camera I usually don't really stray far off from what I do in other videos in terms of skin prep and how I really like to get models ready for makeup so you can refer to any of my other videos if you want more of a detailed breakdown of how I prep skin for makeup and as you can see this look is just so dreamy very defined very kind of in the middle of soft pretty but at the same time very Glam and intense which I really love I think there's something so beautiful about a duality of being very Angelic and kind of a bit naughty the first thing I'm going to do is prep her lips I'm using a bit of the Dior lip glow lip balm and this is pH activated so it's just going to give her a a little bit of color and then going in with my color fluid in the shade carve and applying this on the eyelids what I love about this color is that it really just matches that beautiful Contour undertone it's such a flattering shade of tan Brown it's a very interesting neutral it kind of just sits right in the middle where it makes a beautiful eye contour and kind of a general Contour shade for fair to medium skin tones so applying this all over the eyes and what I'm doing here is I'm kind of figuring out what I want to do with the eyes and how much of that That Base color I want to keep or if I want to brighten anything in the middle of the lid but for now I'm just applying it evenly all over the eyelids and kind of diffusing the edges so that it doesn't stop in a harsh way going up into the Brows in circular motions and that's basically the general softness that I'm going for I'm taking this on the lower lash line too just adding a bit on my hand and with a brush just really diffusing it underneath just so it all ties in and then with concealer I can see if I want to take a bit of that out or clean the edges or you know brighten a bit more underneath but for cohesiveness I just really like to do this all over from the get-go then taking the shade Thorn which is another all-time favorite of mine this is a dark rich brown and with a pencil brush I'm really diffusing this in the Lash line just taking the time to do it in thin layers and really pushing that product in because again you can build these up they never kind of they never go cakey they never um start to kind of um peel they just go on so smooth they layer beautifully you can kind of keep going and going with them which is what I think makes them really Superior and I love this formula so again taking the time to really push it into the Lash line and going all the way in creating that really soft blend and I try to do this for a lot of the steps where I know I want to defined eye so building it slowly is definitely the way to go instead of kind of going right in that's unless if I'm going for a cat eye or for a very defined liner where I know that that's where the look's going to end up I do go in straight ahead with more bold color but for this look it's all about kind of creating those layers and textures now taking whatever is left and going into the crease very slightly because I know this will be kind of a lifted crease defined look but we're not going all the way in with depth definitely keeping it in the outer V and blending with that previous brush to kind of soften the darker brown so just keep going and blending until you're happy with the results and you can see how forgiving this formula is even though they set and it's completely budge proof you still have play time to work around with it my goal and my main tip is always to kind of go in thin layers because you can always always add more but it's harder to take away doing the same with a dark brown on the lower lash line but then really just focusing it on the outer corner and creating quite a defined sharp line that's diffused but it's definitely there it's not really subtle that lower line then I'm going in with the shade canvas now the funny thing is I used to always do this with a pencil liner like um like like an eye pencil like the makeup forever one the nude one uh even the makeup by Mario but then I was like why am I not doing this step with my color fluid in canvas because it is the same formula I can control the the sheerness level of it and it's not going to move it's not going to budge it's not going to fade away cuz sometimes with the pencils I do get a different texture especially if I'm going with um a lighter base or whatever it's just it shows more waxy or more crayon on the outer Corner whereas this one kind of just melt into the skin so now I just use my color fluid in canvas and then I can set it with a beige powder later taking this Dior backstage palette I think this is the first one they made which is the neutral one I will link all the shades below and I'm taking the lighter cream and just diffusing the outer edges which is what I always love to do when I do eyeshadow I like to kind of diffuse and create that cream blend around the edges with whatever matches your skin tone just as a pre blend shaped so that when I'm going in with the darker colors they're not grabbing and sticking onto different patches if you have texture on your Lids whatever that may be this will help reduce that problem now that we have that layer I'm going in with the topy shade and just from the outer crease blending it in and this is acting more as a contour and as a depth rather than adding a taupe color if that makes sense because I'm going in sheer layers and it's just going to lay over the color fluids that that I did over that ground work and just give us that airbrushed blend so you don't have to be too precise but I do like a fluffier uh smaller brush for this this is a Wayne gos and I think refer do a beautiful one too that I love they're almost identical to be honest so just blend it in and feather it out and now this is where it's looking more like that first latte makeup look that I did where it was all matte but this is going to be different because we're going in with shimmers so there's going to be more dimension and it's going to be crisper with my ey tone pencil in intra I'm going over the Lash line again but this is more of a defined layer so the first layer was like that soft blend that's going to look very you know Blended in seamless it's going to give us a guide this is where the chocolate intensity is playing in and this is where I'm going to be more intentional with the liner that I'm doing whereas I want it to be precise I want it to be crisp and I want it to look very chocolatey so from the outer corner all the way to the inner corner of the eyes and making sure I'm defining that lower lash line bit that I did as well to really make it stand out and you know it's just going to frame the eyes so beautifully taking a step back from the eyeshadow I'm going in with this jure lash primer and I'm trying it out because to be honest I don't really use lash primers but I was like why not we might as well and then topping it off with mascara I will note that Maria has a lash lift I believe so her lashes are very much lifted and curled to the point where it was really difficult to apply individual lashes back with my eyone pencil I'm going in the very inner corner and just making her look up because I'm really getting in there with a tiny pencil brush to really get that Precision I love doing this it really just makes the ice pop uh you don't need to take it as far in as I did but you know it is definitely a beautiful look then I'm taking this new Dior Foundation this is the forever Hydro nude and I think this is a tinted moisturizer I will definitely put it in the caption below but it performs as a tinted moisturizer it goes on very sheer it just unifies the skin and gives it this healthy gorgeous look I'm taking a color that matches her neck and her body more as you can see her face is lighter than her body so just really taking that layer to beautifully even out everything and unify the color I'm doing this with a dense brush this is a Sonia G brush that you know I love I love Sony G all her brushes are incredible and amazing and she's an amazing person so I always love supporting her and she has been very supportive as well she does send me a lot of these beautiful brushes and it is a pleasure for me to use them they really are just insane so as you can see I barely had to work with this Foundation it just lays on so beautifully and just really buffing it into the skin and making it one with the skin which took no effort whatsoever I can't wait to use more of this Foundation actually because I haven't fully used it on a lot of different people buffing and tapping in with very thin layers until I'm happy with the overall evenness of the skin taking that on the forehead and don't forget to get all the way into the corners of the face use your fingers if you want and to add a bit of a warmer glow and color I'm taking both Contour sticks I think this is in the shade light and tan because medium is more of the Contour one like a very very Contour gray but this combo Works beautifully for Maria it has that right depth and Contour color but it also has a bit of that warmth which stays on the neutral side actually with that mix applying that anywhere you would normally Contour so the cheeks forehead chin and a bit on the nose and temples and as I'm done doing that I'm going to be stippling the mix on the skin making sure I'm not rubbing too much so that I don't disturb all the beautiful layers and because we already have that foundation on the brush it is going to BL seamlessly and easily into the skin I'm just all about mixing I mean I love mixing different undertones to create this beautiful Dimension and as you can see that cool and warm mix just really nailed it then with the dra concealer I'm applying a touch underneath the eyes and then basically anywhere I want to brighten and lift again this is more of a Glam look so it is all about playing with the dimensions with the lights and the Shadows of the face and I'm going to be blending this in with a wet sponge and I'm just tapping and pushing the product in I really don't want to rub everything away I want that placement to be very intentional and very brightening so to do that kind of try to hover over the areas that you've placed it and then blend out it's funny because I love using brushes as well to blend out concealer it just depends on how I'm feeling and kind of the overall look with this because it was more of a tinted moisturizer Vibe I felt like we could get away with really sharing it out with a sponge for brows I'm taking my favorite hourglass brow pencil and this is in the shade Ash Ash is such a good color I mean I can use it on myself I can use it on so many different people on blondes on brunettes I love the color Ash and I love that this formula goes on very soft but it's definitely there it's not like very waxy or anything I just um I'm such a fan of this formula and I really enjoy doing Mario's brows because I feel like it really ties the look together and because she has very light brows H they can be overpowering if they're done way too much if they're overdone so it's a fine line with really filling them in and making them look fuller and a bit feathery but not blocky and I just really love doing brows I feel like when I started drawing all I did was well my main focus was eyes and I've always enjoyed doing the eyebrow process like I love drawing brows I've sketched them I've painted them I've done brows in charcoal and ink so yeah another important thing I love to do is if I'm really overdrawing or overusing brow pencils I love to powder in between because I don't like this shiny layer that happens if you're you know if you're building a brow you know you know what I mean you get this shine that uh Peaks through from the product and the skin next I'm using this nabla brow pencil it is my favorite brow pencil I love this and I love the Nyx one uh I think they're both my top top top two I love the Urban Decay as well but because it is double ended I end up using one side more than the other so I don't go back to that as often whereas this I know it's serving the purpose of being a brow pen I love this color too I think this is the blonde one I will link it down below such a good color never looks overdone um I know they're scary but this shade is perfection it's definitely one that I always always keep in my kit for blush I'm going to be taking my color fluid in the shade heart artist which is a beautiful Rosy nude pink and just with everything that's on the brush I'm really blending it into the brush and stippling it onto the cheeks to really create this beautiful Rosy nude blush that matches the rest of the tones and everything that's going on in her face they kind of match the lips they match a bit of the Browns on the eyes I love um a matchy matchy moment when it comes to the face I love seeing color repetition uh kind of playing around the face on the lips on the eyes on the cheeks it's so important and it just makes it look so beautiful and it gives it that ethereal fa doll likee Beauty for powder I'm taking my juoni powder that I've depotted into a little travel kit thing and I'm applying that very lightly with the sponge again underneath the eyes and around the center of the face so kind of doing her entire face but in a very very thin veil because as you can see I want to keep a bit of that glue even though I'm topping it off with highlighter I want a bit of tackiness on the skin for the highlighter to grip on to and I feel like that's when highlighter looks the best especially powder gel highlighters so beautiful I love this powder I mean rest in peace and just to set the bronze Parts I'm taking the new Dior bronzer I think this is the second lightest shade and with a very big fluffy brush I'm applying this all over the Contour bronze areas again it's very lightweight it's a light color so I can really kind of do a general dusting of this all over that looks so so pretty with my monoch chromance palette I am using the shade alter ego and dipping into more of the ego side which is the Contour I'm using this as lip liner and basically to Contour the top lip and bottom lip and this gives you know an illusion of bigger Fuller lips by creating that beautiful Dimension and depth and a touch on the nose which you know if we're going for a full Glam look I definitely want to address all these tiny areas not because I want to Contour a nose but because it will look more seamless the tones again will travel through the eyes and the lips and the cheeks so I just still doing that taking my gradient highlighter in the shade doll Dynasty this will be going on the cheeks and starting from the outer outer Corner because I love when that that section I don't know how to explain it when you turn and it's and it travels from the outer corner to the cheeks So Beautiful to the temples this is a Sonia G brush again it's stunning I love how it picks up color I love how it picks up powder and it just looks like it's wet and lit from within I mean these highlighters I mean of course I'm obsessed with my highlighters and the shade doll Dynasty is so stunning all of them are uh but this is definitely the shade for Maria I'm taking that on the Cupid's bow on the lips on the chin on the nose and with whatever is left I love to do a touch on the forehead it just looks so ethereal and then I'm really loading the highlighter with my finger and then taking the excess off on my hand with whatever is left I'm tapping it on the eyelids as a beautiful shimmery eyeshadow I love doing eyes um I love doing highlighter on the eyes actually because again seamlessness it just travels there's something so beautiful about a sh that is the same level of reflectiveness all over the face with a detailed brush I'm taking the highlighter on the lower lashes and kind of going into that empty space where there is no eyeshadow and then it kind of highlights that area even more because we have that chocolate brown framing it so beautiful oh my God I love oh it just makes me happy how that sandwiched right in between I love that the lip was created just with that powder and a bit of that highlighter and then topped off with the dur lip glow this is in the shade lilac again the actual name will be down below but it's the Lilac one so it will be giving off a cooler pink uh tint so beautiful I mean this combo I kind of forgot that I didn't use lip liner for this so when I was looking at the photos and looking at the videos I was like I wonder what lip liner I used and it was just powder and highlighter and the lip glow which I will be repeating this and I have been doing this with a lot of my recent videos it has been it has been a game changer for me because the lips just look lit from within and that is the beautifully enhanced mocha makeup can we say mocha makeup maybe maybe not but it is my ultimate enhanced beautifying glam makeup look on the stunning Maria I really hope you enjoyed this because I really loved filming this I filmed this after a long Hiatus of not filming anything so this is where a lot of my passion was poured onto and Mario is a really good friend of mine so we were just we just really really had fun with this look and we both love it I think it's our favorite look that we've done so let us know what you think in the comments down below and as always I will see you in the next video and enjoy and take care
