Citizens Advisory Review Team (CART) update by Mr. Jay Lombardo.
CART oversees the district's $200 million referendum projects, including upgrades to schools and construction of new elementary schools.
Key projects:
- Security and safety updates including radio projects and new security cameras.
- Construction projects to ensure safety measures (asbestos concerns).
- Delay in conveyance of property for the Ponds impacts school year 2026 plans.
- Issues with schedule, budget, and operational timelines for new schools.

Discussion around delays and the impact on the fall 2026 school opening.
Developer and county compliance with agreements noted, but land conveyance delays are a key issue.
A letter addressing stakeholders was approved to advocate for acceleration of the project.
Community meeting planned for April 7th at Sand Hill Elementary School.

Proposal to update organizational chart with focus on instructional roles.
Conversion of PD coaches to instructional content specialists:
- Middle/High School: 4 positions (Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science).
- Elementary: 4 positions (2 Language Arts, 2 Math).
Introduction of technology instructional specialists to cover software and educational tools.
Motion approved for organizational chart updates:
- MTSS Coordinator (salary supported by ATSI funds).
- Middle and High School Content Specialists.
- Elementary Content Specialists (with member abstention).
- Instructional Technology Specialists.

Held for personnel matters and interim superintendent discussions.
Post-session motions:
- Approval of personnel recommendations for Fort Dorchester Elementary School.
- Authorization of interim superintendent terms including compensation and travel allowance.
