Development of Psychic Abilities - Part 2
Introduction
- Goal: Develop extra sensory perception (ESP) over the next few months.
- First Exercise: Using imagination to perceive amorphous images, sounds, tastes, and smells.
- 90% can see amorphous images
- 50% can evoke similar sounds
- 30% can recreate tastes
- Only a few can evoke smells
- Commitment to help students develop psychic abilities.
Breathing Technique
- Importance: Fundamental for all occasions.
- Method: 5-5-5 breathing technique
- Inhale for 5 seconds
- Hold breath for 5 seconds
- Exhale for 5 seconds
- Practice: Three times a day for the first 10 days.
- Tips: Clear thoughts during breathing; feel airy and light.
- If distracting thoughts occur, try to blow them away while exhaling.
- Initial dizziness or weakness is normal.
Historical Context on Breath Retention
- Benefits of holding breath while exhaling:
- Improves body’s CO2 levels, essential for metabolic processes and amino acid synthesis.
- Activates the vagus nerve, beneficial for heart rate, pulse, and digestion.
- Helps in generating body heat and reducing energy expenditure.
- Pranayama: Art of yoga focusing on breath retention (kumaka).
Types of Breath Retention Techniques
- Simplified (Western) Method: 5-5-5 cycle
- Advanced (Eastern) Method: Analum Vulum
- Proportional breathing: 12 seconds inhale, 48 seconds retention, 24 seconds exhale, etc.
- Different levels with increasing difficulty and benefits.
- Recommendations: Start with the simpler method and progress gradually.
Visualization and Meditation
- Exercise: Combining visualization with meditation
- Imagine yourself in a lotus position in darkness.
- Inhale and feel hot sand, then recreate the image and feel the heat physically.
- Exhale and imagine being in Antarctica, feeling the cold.
- Develop psychosomatics to influence your body without external help.
- Importance: Integrating meditation techniques with visualization to release thoughts and emotions.
Developing Tactile Sensors
- Exercise: Sensation of an object
- Hold an object, then try to recall and recreate its sensation in your hand.
- Progress to alternating sensations of different objects.
- Frequency: Practice multiple times a day to enhance memory and sensation.
Combined Exercises
- Combine breathing exercises with heat/cold sensations.
- Hold a hot cup and then recreate the warmth without the cup.
- Hold an ice cream and then recreate the coldness without it.
- Goal: Develop ability to recreate sensations based on memory over time.
Roller Coaster Exercise
- Purpose: Quickly alter brain biorhythms
- Perform intense physical activity for 4-6 minutes (running, push-ups, etc.)
- Immediately switch to a calm position and stop internal dialogue
- Goal: Move from high beta brain activity to low alpha activity
- Benefits: Improved control over bio rhythms, vision, and psychic ability access.
Concentration Exercise
- Goal: Enhance focus on specific body parts
- Sit comfortably and relax, focusing on a single body part for 30 seconds
- Switch focus to different body parts after 30 seconds
- Develop ability to concentrate fully on one point and switch consciously.
Summary
- Key Theme: Conscious control over physical and mental processes
- Exercises: Breathing techniques, visualization, tactile sensation, roller coaster for biorhythm control, concentration exercises.
- Outcome: Develops psychic abilities by enhancing control over internal flows and sensory perceptions.
Note: Regular practice and gradual progression are essential for mastering these techniques.
