2025 Lightning Lane Guide for Disney World

it's the 2025 Walt Disney World lightning Lane guide hello ma'am fam today we are in Walt Disney World so I can give you my best tips tricks and all the things you need to know about the most confusing part of a Walt Disney World vacation lightning Lanes I well Professor Molly will be going over the basics and fundamentals updated with all the things we have learned over the last 6 months since the system debuted and then we're going to kick it back to meet Park Molly who's clearly in the Magic Kingdom right now but we're to do some hopping as well to show you how to best use the system in real time and I'll show you my screen as I'm booking things and going throughout my day it's going to be a lot of fun get those pencils ready and let's hop I was trying to make a Hof joke but this isn't really about Park hofing so I was going to be like let's hop to it like such a good pun but I guess it's about lining in so like let's strike [Music] now to Professor Molly hello Professor Molly here but tropical version because I'm coming to you from the Polynesian Resort uh because it's a lot easier for me to explain the basics of multi-pass lightning Lane single pass all the things when I am less distracted than Inside Magic Kingdom so let's get into it if you watched our first big lightning Lane video when they changed the system last year a lot of this information you're going to have heard before but I think a refresher is always good and note not a lot has changed from when it initially debuted last year all of our videos we did are still relevant they are still accurate so this is going to be your 2025 guide with all of my best tips things I've learned from using the system of course I'll be back in the Park using it in real time so you can see how it functions but first wanted to go over just some of those Basics again so you have them top of mind the skip the line service at Walt Disney World previously known as Genie plus before that it was known as FastPass Plus and before that it was known as Fastpass now it is called lightning Lane multi-pass and lightning Lane single pass as a reminder lightning lanes are the physical locations at the parks it is the physical expedited queue that you're going to watch through both multipass attractions and single pass attractions have them it used to be called the Fastpass que so when you hear someone say I'm going to book my next lightning lane or I booked a lightning Lane that's the same thing as saying I booked a multipass so let's get into the big one which is lightning Lane multipass previously this was called Genie plus but this is a one cost per person per day and it gets you access at dozens of attractions around Walt Disney World at all four parks price does vary based on the time of year and park that you're going to for example today a tues uesday in January lightning Lane multipass at Magic Kingdom would cost $29 per person Epcot $21 per person Hollywood Studios $24 per person and Animal Kingdom $16 per person however on December 31st one of the busiest days of the year it cost $39 at Magic Kingdom $32 at Epcot $35 at Hollywood Studios and $29 at Animal Kingdom so as you can see less expensive to book Animal Kingdom versus Magic Kingdom and the crowds are going to impact the cost now there are a few perks that come with purchasing multipass in addition to the expedit Q service you're also getting all your on ride photos those are included you can download those for free so any ride photos that you get taken on Pirates the Caribbean Tiana's Bayou Adventure Expedition Everest Legend of forbid Mountain TM any of those rides you can add them to your account and those are included as well as those photo filters that really no one uses and everyone forgot about but they are kind of fun those are included with you when you purchase multipass when it comes to booking both your multi- passes and your single passes all your lightning Lanes Walt Disney World Resort guest can book them 7 days in advance of their check-in day for their entire length of stay so if you have a week-long vacation 7even days before that check-in day you can book for your entire trip for both again your multi-pass lightning lanes and your fancy ride lightning Lanes non-resort guests can book three days in advance note that some multipass tickets will allow you to book for your entire length of stay again starting 3 days before the first date of that ticket but a lot of tickets like annual passes like myself you have to book those day byday for your trip obviously for the purposes of this video I booked as a resort guest so I was able to book a week out and in all of the lightning Lane videos I did as well as just using the system for other content last year this is a true advantage of being a Walt Disney World Resort guest many many times as a non-resort guest there was no availability when I was able to start booking for Tiana's biou Adventure Slinky Dog Dash or a lot of the fancy rides so this really is a good perk of staying at Walt Disney World regardless of when your booking window opens that again that 7-Day or that 3-day booking starts at 700 a.m. Walt Disney World time Easter time and an important note when the system first launched International guests with the exception of Canada were not able to book until they were on us soil meaning our friends from the UK anywhere else in Europe South America Asia none of those guests were able to book in advance which did put them at a disadvantage but from what I have seen announced Disney has corrected this and international guest can now use those seven and 3-day windows that are applicable if you're an international guest and that's not the case let me know down below but from everything I've seen research and heard they have fixed that so what does it look like at 700 a.m. when you are booking first and foremost prior to that make sure you are linked up with all your friends and family that you would like to be booking for it's easier if one person can book for the entire group and note that you can link up to 20 different people and be booking for them but keep in mind you're going to be paying for everyone at the same time so this first morning could get a little pricey especially if you're booking for multiple people for multiple days for the length of your stay but you know girl math would tell you that by the time you get to Walt Disney World you already paid for that so that money is long spent and you can enjoy yourself and you do need to book on the app you cannot book on the desktop but on the Walt Disney World app from the homepage you are going to select book multi-pass lightning lanes and single pass lightning lanes and you can book both at the same time you're going to then select the date you would like to book for which Park you would like to book multipass at and any single pass attractions that you would like to book you can book them all together and those single passes don't need to be in the same park you can book Magic Kingdom and Tron as well as Guardians of the Galaxy if you're planning to hop to Epcot later once you've selected the lightning Lane Services you will be purchasing you will then select everyone in your group that you will be purchasing for at that point you will be brought to a page page to allow you to choose your selections select the attractions you want you can try and modify the times later you can do a couple minor adjustments and look around but I do recommend being pretty quick as you're able to book this and then repeating the process for every day note once you have selected everyone in your group you have to purchase it for everyone in your group which is especially noteworthy when it comes to the single pass attractions so if you've got 10 people in your party that you're buying for but only five people want to buy Tron you are going to have to book those five people separately on Tron otherwise you're paying for the entire group to get Tron note the system will pre-select times for you and if you have things linked like dining reservations it's going to try and work around those once your selections look good go ahead and check out and I do think this is a perk because you can see what's available before you've actually made a financial commitment so if you open it up and you're going at a really busy time of year and you're not able to book three attractions that you'd like you don't actually have to purchase the system once you've paid you will repeat the process for any other days you're eligible couple of notes if you are able to book multiple days out book the further day out because less people have had access to that day so if your Resort gu staying for a week book the latter part of your trip and work backwards I recommend booking Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom as the further out days because those are the parks with the most in demand rides note with multipass you can only access each lightning Lane one time per ride so you cannot book Haunted Mansion and ride it over and over again you're only eligible again one time each attraction that's on the system also note if you have a park hopping ticket you only have to pay for the system once if you are starting your day with multi-passes is at Epcot but plan to hop over to Magic Kingdom later you are going to book and pay for the Epcot price and then yes you will be eligible to book at Magic Kingdom later we're going to park hop in this video so I'll show you that in action now when it comes to booking your attractions a week in advance you can book up to three multi-pass attractions for each person to start your day now you cannot just book the three best rides at any of the parks there are tiers at most of the parks meaning you can book one attraction in tier one and two attractions in tier 2 or all three in tier two let's talk about what's available with multipass at Magic Kingdom your tier one attractions are Jungle Cruise Peter Pan's flight Space Mountain and Tiana's Bou Adventure note Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is also normally a tier one at Magic Kingdom but it's currently under a very long refurbishment your tier two attractions are the barn Stormer Buzz Lighty your Space Ranger Spin Dumbo the flying elephant Haunted Mansion It's a Small World mad tea party the magic carpets of Aladdin the mini Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Mickey fil har magic monsters in glfl Pirates of the Caribbean Tomorrowland Speedway and under the SE journey of The Little Mermaid also known as UT jol at Epcot your tier one attractions Frozen Ever After Remy's ratou adventure sorn around the world and when test track reopens it should be in tier one your tier 2 attractions are the Disney and Pixar short film festival journeying to imagination with figment living with the land Mission Spa the Seas with Nemo and Friends Spa ship Earth and turtle talk with Crush at Disney's Hollywood Studios the tier one attractions are Mickey and min's runaway Railway Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run Rock and roller coaster starring Aerosmith Slinky Dog Dash and your tier 2 attraction are alien swirling saucers beating the Beast live on stage the Disney junor playing Dance For The First Time in Forever a Frozen sing along celebration Indiana Jones epic stun spectacular Muppet Vision 3D Star Tours Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania and at Disney's Animal Kingdom there are no tiers you can book any three attractions or experiences you'd like from dinosaur Expedition Everest legend of the Forbidden Mountain Feathered Friends and flight Festival The Lion King Finding Nemo the big blue and Beyond it's tough to be a bug Cali River Rapids kilam majara safaris and na'vi River Journey note that there are still no character experiences such as princess fairy tale hall or meet and greets included with lightning Lane as there used to be with GD plus I thought perhaps that might come back but it didn't now my recommendations for when you're booking at each park at Magic Kingdom your top priority should be Tiana's Bayou Adventure followed by Peter Pan or Jungle Cruise if you've no intention of getting wet for tier 2 Your Best Bets are prior to the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion at Epcot take your pick Remy's rat to Adventure and Frozen Ever After are both very popular so it's kind of which one's more important to you but I do see that Remy tends to run out a little faster than Frozen if you're undecided as far as tier 2 goes mission space Runs Out somewhat quick so does spaceship earth but tier 2 is not as in demand as some of the other parks at Epcot at Disney's Hollywood Studios Slinky Dog Dash definitely the most popular choice for tier one uh for tier two true great choices with Tower of terar and Toy Story Mania I'd go for both of those and at Disney's Animal Kingdom na'vi River Journey tends to run out the fastest followed by Expedition Everest and then usually kill them on jar safaris or on a hot day Cali River Rapids those would be my recommendations and top priorities but if you don't want to ride one of the things I just said you're not interested in one of the things I just said some good choices next would be the other tier one attractions in whichever Park you're in so if you're at Magic Kingdom and you don't want to do tias again then Peter Pan or Jungle Cruise then Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which is currently under refurbishment if you don't want to do Remy or Frozen then I would do saurin or when it comes back test track will definitely be popular in the mix there especially since it'll be new if Slinky Dog Dash doesn't appeal to you then the next thing that runs out tends to be Rock and roller coaster Follow by Millennium Falcon Smuggler run and finally Mickey and Minnie's runaway Railway as far as tier tws go if the things I initially mentioned don't appeal to you you don't want to ride those attractions good choices could be buzzl light your Space Ranger Spin It's a Small World Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or utom at Magic Kingdom there aren't really other great tier 2 choices those attractions don't tend to get long lines or be in super demand at Epcot so take your pick when it comes to that park at Hollywood Studios alien swirling saucers tends to run out somewhat quick Indiana Jones epic stun spectacular is the show that runs out the fastest and then Beauty the Beast if it's somewhat busy that can be a good choice uh and at Animal Kingdom Festival The Lion King is a good one to lock in since that usually does have a pretty long line so it's good to reserve your seat again C River Rapids if it's a hot day and Finding Nemo just to have a seat reserved my lowest priority attractions the ones I really don't recommend using lightning Lane unless it's an incredibly incredibly busy day your lowest priorities at Magic Kingdom monsters in glor Mickey's filarm Magic Dumbo mad tea party magic carpets of Aladdin tamaran Speedway and The Barnstormer and cot seiz with Nemo and Friends Turtle talk with Crush journey to imagination with figment living with the land the one exception being during the holiday season when the lights are happening that's a good time to use it there uh and the Pixar and Disney short film festival at Hollywood Studios Disney junor Live On Stage Star Tours Muppet Vision and the Frozen singalong and at Animal Kingdom tough to be a bug and Feathered Friends In Flight those are all great what I call filler attractions things that don't tend to have long lines great attractions to pop in in between some of these other more in demand attractions and your lightning ler booking now let's talk single pass I like to call these fancy rides so throughout the video you're going to hear me call them fancy rides but basically these have not changed since Genie plus rolled out these are attractions that are so popular so in demand tend to be the newest and greatest attractions in Walt Disney World that they are not included with multipass but they still have a lightning Lane in order to access that lightning Lane you are going to have to pay a per person per cost for that attraction alone now just like the multipath lightning Lanes the cost of these does vary based on the time of year you're going to and which attraction it is the fancy rides across the parks are at Magic Kingdom Seven Dwarfs Mine Train as well as Tron light cycle run in Epcot it's Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind in Hollywood Studios it's Star Wars rise the resistance and in Animal Kingdom it's Avatar flight of Passage typically sors Mine Train is the least expensive of these and Rise the resistance is the most expensive the highest prices we've seen across the board S Doors Mine Train $14 Tron $22 Guardians of the Galaxy $19 rise the resistance $25 and Avatar flight of Passage $18 and that was on Christmas Eve but usually you're going to see them a couple dollars less than that throughout the majority of the Year again the booking windows for these are the same as multipass and you can book them all within the same transaction as long as you're looking for things on the same day you are allowed to book a Max of two fancy rides per guest per day but they do not need to be at the same park so you can book yourself to start at Magic Kingdom and book Tron and then also in the same transaction book yourself rise the resistance if you plan to park up to Hollywood Studios later I will note that fancy rides are one place Resort guests to have a really good Advantage often times as a non-resort guest there are none available for me to buy once my window opens up now possibly the biggest and only main difference with fancy rides now as with the predecessor is you can now modify them you are able to change the time the date and even the ride pending availability now one thing you should note is that if you are going from S Doors mine train to Tron it is going to ask you to pay the price difference but if you're going the opposite way it's supposed to credit you so that you can use that towards another lightning Lane purchase that was a lot of of talking let's actually look at what it was like a week ago when I was booking for my day today in Magic Kingdom I knew I wanted to start at Magic Kingdom I went ahead and booked Tiana's bio Adventure as well as again the top two tier 2 attractions I recommend prior to the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion there wasn't every time available but there was still pretty good availability so I went ahead and locked in those attractions and one thing I love about the system now as you can modify in advance of going to the park so throughout the next week occasionally I would look and see if there was any modification and eventually I was able to line up this very lovely stack of those three attractions at my preferred times additionally I went ahead and booked Tron light cycle run and I thought a park hoofing video would be more fun so I booked Guardian of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind as well whilst booking I did take a look at the other parks and noted that there was full availability at all four parks for every attraction that's open including all of the fancy Rides Again there wasn't every time available because there are a few people that can book ahead of you if someone had a 7-Day vacation and it exists when my booking window starts some things are going to be taken but I had no problems booking the attractions I wanted to book now I also looked at the 3-day window for today to just compare the resort guest versus the non-resort guest inventory and I was pleasantly surprised there was full availability when it came to multipass at Magic Kingdom meaning Tiana's bio Adventure was available for non-resort guests which is not always or usually the case maybe because it's cold right now they also still had some availability for Vine train and Tron Epcot still had availability for Guardians in fact all of the fancy rides still had availability when I was looking through it as a non-resort guest the things that had run out were a lot of good times for non-resort guests so there weren't a lot of morning times especially for those more in demand attractions like Remy's ratou Adventure Frozen Ever After Slinky Dog Rock and roller coaster as well as those fancy rides but it's not a super busy time of year clearly they've been messing with the algorithm and adjusting and I was pleasantly surprised to see that as non-resort guest I still would have been able to book any attraction I wanted I would have just had to likely modify what I call fiddle fatle and make some adjustments to get the attractions I wanted in the morning but we had great success I love that you're able to modify before you even get to the park to try and make those adjustments and uh we've got about 30 minutes before our first Lightning L so let's go made it into the Magic Kingdom headed to our first attraction but I did get a little distracted by some delightful streetmosphere first of all the Disney Adventure Friends cavalcade was happening right when I walked in this cavalcade used to only be in the late afternoon I was delighted to see it in the late morning it's got a ton of fun different characters in it from zootopia and Rio and Encanto love this one and then I was Charmed by the Main Street philarmonic playing a set out in front of the castle how can you not stop and enjoy these guys for a few minutes honestly if you can watch them playing Disney music and the crowd singing and dancing along and not just be smiling I don't know that this is the place for you but now we are headed to adventur land for our first attraction Pirates of the Caribbean Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite attraction in the park in all of Walt Disney World actually it is a classic it is an icon it is a familyfriendly boat ride but it still has a little bit of thrill it's got that original music from exito that we all know and love but of course in the 2000s they did refurbish it to add in characters from The Beloved films so it's one of my favorite Disney attraction stories because you have this iconic amazing attraction inspired the film which then in turn reinspect attraction at least the Disneyland version is and it is a perfect use of a tier 2 initial booking because it's very very popular and it's a great ride you're obviously going to want to go on it's a 30-minute posted wait right now so I'm very excited to have a lightning Lane obviously 30 minutes isn't that long in the grand scheme of things but just the idea that I don't have to wait 30 minutes really excites me also they're opening a Pirates of the Caribbean themed Lounge here later this year and I'm literally get D about it he thinks the lounge will go right here where the pirate leagues used to be hence the construction walls on the lightning Lane I have a feeling that way time's about to go up too all right I have tapped in at Pirates of the Caribbean I have confirms there's not a second touch point up ahead most attractions have the ability to have a second touch point to prevent line jumpers but they don't always have it turned on so it's an important question to ask because as soon as you tap in at your first attraction you can go ahead and book your next one you can always have three multi-pass attractions booked and that's very important so I'm going to pull off to the side here to explain why and show you what I book when it comes to multipass not fancy rides but when it comes to multipass as soon as you tap in at your first attraction you can go ahead and book your next attraction which would be my fourth multi-pass Lightning L but this is incredibly important because one you should always have three booked because the more you have books throughout the day the better bang for your buck you're getting number two once you've chapped into into your first multi pass it doesn't matter if it's tier one or tier 2 it unlocks your ability to book more tier one attractions so if I wanted to book again at Magic Kingdom I could book Peter Pan's flight Jungle Cruise or Space Mountain pending any availability it also gives me the option now if I wanted to to modify any other tier 2 attractions I have into tier ones so if I wanted to modify Haunted Mansion into Space Mountain right now I could additionally tapping in at your first bti pass unlocks your ability to park hop so I'm now eligible to start booking a attrations at other parks and that does include tier one attractions so as a pro tip have one earlier in the day because you're going to want to tap in and unlock the ability to do all these other things so if you are at Magic Kingdom and you couldn't get Tiana's Bou Adventure or Haunted Mansion till later in the day still try to have one relatively close to when you're going to arrive at the park so that you can tap in and then start booking those better things as well now one thing I highly recommend is on the my day page make sure you click the get started now so that you can plan your day you're going to click Start now and then select the day and the park that you're going to you can do this in advance as well if you'd like and you're going to select your party I'm not going to select anyone but me and then you're going to select the attractions you want to do today or that day so I I've already got haed Mansion but I'm going to click it anyway we're going to do the other tier ones so jungle cruise and Peter Pan's flight Space Mountain let's see let's also keep an eye on seven doors mind train that's another fancy ride you can choose use interest if you want Disney suggest things like princesses or villains you can see your display preferences and then it is going to generate your day and the reason this is important is because now when you look at that tipboard it is going to pin those attractions to the top so this is what my tipboard looked like before I'm going to refresh it and now those attractions I just pinned are at the top so I can easily book another attraction so let's see jungle Cru that's tier one that one is out Peter Pan is tier one it's out mind train fancy ride that's out Space Mountain has good avail abilities in a couple of hours Let's also go check over at Epcot because I'm going to hop over there let's see if there is anything left for Frozen no or Remy no so I think cuz my first two attractions are close together I'm going to book Space Mountain and then once I tab in at my second attraction I'll book something at Epcot and try and Fiddle fadle for something better so we're going to go ahead and book Space Mountain lock that in and we're good to go now an important thing to note is when I was booking you may have noticed that I selected Space Mountain and then it asked if anyone was joining me a lot of people say like I only am good at using multipass because I'm one person and it's easier to book me versus a bunch of other people but no it asked who else was coming after I had selected Space Mountain so this information I'm giving you does apply for Baker grps as well like I said this morning you can link up to 20 people at a time be booking for all of them so the logic that I'm saying the information that I'm saying does work for bigger parties than just one as well bring me Captain Jack Spar or I'll be sending you to Da CH hey send them hint to Davey Jones it's the Run they want that is [Music] bad pirates at the Caribbean check love it and now we are to the newest ride in Magic Kingdom Tiana's Bou Adventure definitely the most popular ride glad we snagged that lightning Lane one thing I want to note is that while I was waiting to board into my boat on Pirates I went ahead and did the select your favorites plan your day thing at Epcot as well you can do it for multiple days you're just going to scroll all the way down to the my day tab select plan for your next Park pick the next Park use the slider to guesstimate when you're going to be there and then you can select those top attractions there as well which means now when I look at my Epcot tip board the the tier one attractions Remy Frozen and saurin are going to be pinned to the top there so I don't have to scroll through like American Adventure and figment to see what the Remy weight time is Tiana's Bayou Adventure is the reimagined attraction here that opened up last summer replacing Splash Mountain but it's the same track it's that same 50ft drop you're just now enjoying it with Tiana Prince navine Lewis the alligator and all your Bayou friends plus the music from Princess and the Frog which absolutely flaps now I'm not going to lie to you guys uh I forgot my rain jacket and I hate getting wet and it's a little chilly today so uh we're making a little pit stop here in the co-op because I need a poncho but isn't this gift shop so cute we did a whole video in Tiana's bio Adventure came out with all of the merchandise all of the details Easter eggs backstory interviewed some of the imagineers so if you want to know more about this attraction definitely go check that out one of my favorite details though in the store is you've got this picture right here of Tiana making her gumbo with of her by you Critter friends and you can see they all brought different ingredients like the rabbit has got some carrots the Frog there is chopping mincing some mushrooms but Larry the alligator brought a license plate um it's right here in the Gumbo Pot it all made it in I don't know how Tiana didn't notice there was a license plate in there but maybe it'll add flavor all right here we go ready now do as I say not as I do I highly recommend bringing a rain jacket and a hat to ride this attraction ction or bringing your own dollar Poncho that you got at a dollar store or off Jeff bos.com not spending $10 on a Disney Poncho but you know what $10 well spend if I don't get wet Tiana's Bayou Adventure is absolutely the most popular attraction in this park especially on multipass especially considering Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently closed for a year-long refurbishment making the tier one attractions even more in demand especially the throw rides also Pro tip if there's something you don't want to get wet you can nicely for a clear merchandise bag at the shop right here and then you can fold it up and keep it in your bag you'll never know when you need a plastic bag I'll often carry zip locks as well in the park but I'm going to put my camera in there cuz it's too big to fit in my purse Tiana's bio Adventure has a 40in height requirement and if you're not paying for multipass or you're not able to book a lightning Lane for it you're going to have to do a virtual queue there's no standby way to just go wait in a line for this attraction quick reminder of how virtual queue works it's open at 700 a.m. and 1 p.m. if you have a ticket like an annual pass that still requires Park reservations on certain days you do need a Magic Kingdom park reservation for the 7:00 a.m. drop you do not need to be in a park obviously you can be anywhere for the 1 p.m. drop you do need to be in the Magic Kingdom or have tapped into the Magic Kingdom an hour before each drop it will open up for you to be able to verify your group you don't need to do this at 6:00 a.m. or noon on the dot but a few minutes prior to the drop definitely check on there make sure everyone you're trying to book for is all linked up and you're ready to go then Pro tip use a world clock to countdown so that at 65959 or 12959 on the virtual Q page you can hit refresh keep clicking that same spot it will go to join virtual queue just click as fast as you can and then hopefully you will be given a boarding group number this number will get called back in order and once your group is called you will have a limited amount of time to return to the attraction to ride typically it's an hour at Tiana's Bou adventure and make sure you arrive within that hour they will not let you in later if you are going this route because you unable to book a lightning lane or you want to try and ride it twice I highly recommend trying at both 7:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. to Greater your chances of getting a spot now note the virtual queue is not expedited that's the lightning Lane so you could still wait upwards of an hour it's just guaranteeing that you have a spot in the attraction queue to check the status of the virtual queue you can look at the boards around the park as well as look at your app and you can see your boarding group and what boarding group they're calling so that you can roughly gauge when you should come back they often also give you an estimated return time so that you know not to get in a very long line if you're going to be estimated called back within the next 30 minutes or so good all right there's no second touch point on which means I can go ahead and book my fifth multipass attraction for the day I'm going to pull off here and do that so other people can go ahead of me so I can talk and look uh live in real time all right let's start with Epcot and see if I can get anything there nothing for frozen or Remy that's not surprising lots of avail a ability at saurin let's see what's available here I think I'm going to book at Epcot though nothing at jungle or Peter Pan I think I'm going to go ahead and book saurin and then try and Fiddle fadle it for frozen or Remy but real quick let's take a look at the other Parks just to see what their availability looks like at Studios I'm just looking for the big ones Mickey and minis which is a tier one has availability hey treu Mickey and min's Runway raway which is a tier one has availability at 610 it's currently about 130 Millennium Falcon Smuggler Tier 1 has availability at 310 Rock and roller coaster Tier 1 has availability at 455 Slinky Dog tier one nothing rise which is the fancy ride nothing Toy Story Mania which is a tier 2 has availability very soon as does Tower of Terror which is awesome and let's check Animal Kingdom again there are no tear in Animal Kingdom there is availability for their fancy ride flight of Passage dinosaur very soon Everest very soon Safari's very soon nav River Journey is out but let's go ahead and lock in something at Epcot and we can try and Fiddle fadle it momentarily all right there's no way I'm going to get there at 1:30 so one thing I like about this is you can choose the time it's not first available so I it gave me 130 cuz that's next available but I'm going to go ahead and click modify time and scroll over to like 5 and continue and we are locked in for saurin at 505 I feel like they turned the music up in the queue and it is jaunty and fun and Jazzy now I do want to point out this is the biggest difference between the standby and the lightning Lane you can see through the glass Tiana's kitchen but it's kind of warbly and you don't get a great view but there is still lots to look out in the lightning Lane there's lots of Easter eggs to the backstory it is cute and there are some fun details that you can really only see well if you are in the virtual q line but that looked like it was an hour wait and I would rather wait what's probably going to be 10 minutes to get on the ride than an hour W let's Jo the [Music] littlee are [Music] cookies we'll ask them to join the band for sure [Music] W where did they go we lost [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] party survived mostly unscathed can see one big splash got me but besides that dry right in the back that's the tip actually the front is the best view and if you do follow Molly's Pat and Water right outfit which is a hat and a rain jacket just hold on to your hat cuz if you lose it you're literally never getting it back off this ride it works better but I sat in the back and had a poncho and I survived also it's very good the photos are included cuz this is definitely a memory I want to cherish right here that's a good photo also though I noticed a detail I had it before at the end of the attraction after you see Tiana and the party but before Mama OD look on the right hand side and you're going to see two frogs which are of course a nod to Tiana and deine when they're frogs but the new thing I noticed was the star shining brightly which is a beautiful nod to Ray and evangelene and I was like I don't remember seeing that so I texted Alan if he could go look at footage from the last time I wrode this and it wasn't there so that must be a new addition which is very sweet also that gives you some insight into my brain because it's constantly scanning for new details and things to point out okay great news as well after I tapped in I booked saurin and while I was waiting that few short minutes actually Bor the ride vehicle I fiddle Fatt and I was able to swap that into REM Adventure so we we have that now let's discuss fiddle fing shall we okay I came over by big th Mountain Railroad because again it's closed right now so I could be out of the way and it's quiet over here and funny thing LOL on all the notice signs it says close until further notice and it says if you have any inquiries check in with UB patient that's that's patient pants joke here in frand um okay let's talk about fiddle fatling fiddle fatle is a term I coined back with FastPass Plus so two iterations ago uh but don't have the copyright to obviously cuz there's a snack called fiddle fatle but fiddle fatling is just using the modify feature to your advantage like Professor Molly mentioned you can modify attractions as soon as you have booked them a week out from your trip up to before you get on the attraction and modifying allows you to change that attraction to another attraction or change the time of that attraction obviously all based on availability so if you go to modify an attraction you are going to see that up at the top it's going to show you if there's other availability for that ride and in the bottom of the screen is going to be other availability what I call fiddle fatling is just refreshing this screen over and over again hoping that the availability changes either to a time that you prefer on that attraction or to a different attraction that maybe said it didn't have any left as people's plans change especially the day of as the park inventory changes the attractions see how many people are working their way through the attractions that availability can change and so by fiddle fatling you could snag a lightning Lane for an attraction or for a time that previously wasn't a available now if you are fiddle fatling prior to being in the park or prior to tapping into that first attraction you're only going to be fiddle fatling within that Park so when I was fiddle fatling prior to getting here to see if I could get better times for Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean I was seeing other times for that ride up at the top and then other availability in Magic Kingdom down below but as soon as I tapped in on my first attraction and I unlocked all of those things after Pirates of the Caribbean now you can do what I call the mega fatle because if you go to modify an attraction it's not only going to show you availability for that ride it's not only going to show you availability for the other rides in that Park but you can now flip through the screen and see the availability across all four Parks the mega fatle so you keep refreshing either by clicking in between the four different Parks because each time you click a new park it's going to refresh or if you pull down it's going to refresh back to Magic Kingdom as well as refresh the current attraction up at the top with New Times possibly and that is the secret to my success never being satisfied with what is initially given to me I book it especially if it's an attraction I want that I know is hard to get and then I fiddle fadle it as I'm going throughout my day and I have a few minutes to see if I can get a better time or better attraction so in this case again I booked saurin and I was fiddle fatling while in line and I spotted a time for Remy's ratu Adventure so I clicked it really fast and I was able to book that instead but I was Mega fatling on the screen I was looking at both Remy's rat 2 Adventure Frozen Ever After at Epcot and seeing if anything rep populated for Jungle Cru or Peter Pan's flight here and that's it that is the number one best tip I have for you for using the system is use the modify feature fiddle fatle it see if you can get better options don't be satisfied with what it gives you initially now obviously you don't need to spend hours on your phone doing this that is one complaint about the use of the system in the phone is that people spend too long on their phones and if you get an attraction you really want and it's a couple hours away that's probably good enough and you can just spend the time in between doing non- lightning Lane attractions character meet and greets eating entertainment Etc but if you don't see Remy's ratou Adventure initially don't give up because a lot of the time you can get it to come back with just a little fiddle fatling I think it took a total of 120 to 150 seconds for me to fiddle fadle and lock in Remy's Ritu Adventure now as a pro tip for the fiddle fatle make sure you move quick if you see the thing you want available click it as fast as you can because you can get what I call getting got by the lightning Lane which means someone else clicked it faster but if that does happen don't lose hope that's just a sign that things are moving and things are repopulating one of the best times to fiddle fatle is if you're like me and you're not a rope dropper you're not a morning person the day of is a good time to fiddle fadle I was able to modify all three of my attractions today to earlier times because once the park opens and the attractions are able to see how guests are moving through things how the crowds are flowing people are changing their plans and canceling things things more things tend to open up early in the day versus maybe the day before so always not not a bad plan to check the morning up if you're not completely satisfied with your schedule headed to our third attraction this is the third one I booked with my initial booking a week ago haunted Manion Haunted Mansion I would say based on watching the system for 6 months is the most popular tier 2 Choice here at Magic Kingdom so a great one to snag and as you know both this Aires tier two on the charts tier one in our hearts but honestly one of the best attractions of all time and I love that this and Pirates are tier two because it makes me feel like the Magic Kingdom purchase gives me a little more bang for my buck if I'm getting Tiana or space or Peter Pan or jungle cruise and taed mansion and Pirates even if I just get those three things that's pretty good and as you know we're not going to stop there we're going to fiddle fatle we're going to get other great things too it's the same thing at Hollywood Studios if my initial booking is Slinky Dog or Mickey minis run away away or rock and roller coaster or Smugglers Run and then also Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania those are three really good rides so I feel like I'm off to a good start it's a little harder to look at that way when you book at Epcot and you book Remy or Frozen and then you have to book like spaceship birth and Mission Space which neither one gets super long lines which makes it a little less worth it to me at Epcot thank you and then Animal Kingdom depending on when you go normally has the shortest line so kind of just depends if if you should use it at Animal Kingdom I've been at Animal Kingdom when it's really really busy and it feels very worth it to purchase this and I've been to Animal Kingdom when it's not busy and nothing has longer than like a 20-minute line so when people ask me which Parks they should do multipass at if you don't want to purchase it for all of them Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for sure in my opinion and I have a park- by Park video as a non-resort guest that I filmed last year again none of the information is outdated you can see me use the system in real time how I recommend using the system which is booking as early as you can filling in with filler attractions fiddle fatling Etc you can see it broken down park by Park which I highly recommend for planning purposes Haunted Mansion opening day attraction here I say it almost every time but I I do believe this is the most beloved and cult classic Disney attraction on planet Earth familyfriendly anyone can enjoy this one but we all know it's got those chills and thrills to keep the whole family entertained and now that I have tapped in you guessed it I can book another one so let's see what is available probably here I'd like something to fill in between now and Space Mountain which is in about an hour all right let's see Haunted Mansion Sol is available jungle cruise and Peter Pan do not mine train which is a fancy ride popped back up with availability but I've already booked two for the day so I can't buy another one look what happens if I try and buy it for myself it will say I'm not even an option I can't even choose myself not eligible Molly has reached the single pass purchase limit for the day so no more fancy rides for me but it's good to know it came back let's see Buzz has times around six I could book a lot of filler rides for soon like mad tea party or Dumbo mini Adventures of wi the Pooh is out for the day Pirates is out for the day this is without any fiddle fatling so I'm going to go ahead and just book Buzz probably if nothing pops up and then I'll fiddle fatle it for something else or another time all right so I'm going to book the 6:00 time but don't forget you can always click modify time and see more and we're all [Music] set if you're not with the car all the way in and all the there's no turning back you this chilling challenge to find a way out as a pro tip in the stret true if you want to get out the fastest stand near the ballerina if you want to hear the Gargoyles whisper creepy things like get out or stay together stand underneath the old lady on the graestone you'll be out last sensitive to the Haunted Mansion [Music] be [Music] expecting you may now kiss the [Music] pride swing there you are [Music] a banger as always got to love the hunted mansion and good news as I was waiting to board my Doom buggy I was able to quickly fiddle fadle that Buzz Lightyear into a Peter Pan's flight it is for much much later after I'll be in the park considering I have a fancy ride and uh Remy are added to the adventure booked over at Epcot but I went ahead and snagged it and I'm going to fiddle fatle play around with it see if I can move it up or switch it to another ride but like I always say if you see a ride you want snag it and see if you can manipulate it later so in the meantime I've got about 25ish minutes until uh my next lightning Lane so I'm going to do what I tell all of you to do go get a stack the best park days are not just lightning lightning lightning ride ride ride ride over and over again it is that wonderful beautiful mix of multipass and fancy rides and using standby and snacks and shows and entertainment and your girl's hungry came to see gueston at his Tavern and the rumors are true he does in fact use antlers in all of his decorating and grabed what I think is a very underrated Savory treat here in Magic Kingdom the ham guer tart it's basically a puff pastry crust that's nice and Flaky and buttery and it's got big Globs of guer cheese and nice salty Ham on there comes with chips I got a cup of water don't forget those are always complimentary and uh going to enjoy this [Music] I've said it before and I'll say it again this park in my opinion has the worst food so anytime I can find a delicious treat especially a Savory treat I'm going to share it and this one is really good and this is such a fun themed dining location you can get some good sweets here you can get the gray stuffed cupcake I hear it's delicious as well as the iconic gigantic cinnamon roll and the lefo Brew which is a non-alcoholic Apple slushy drink all those things are really good but if you want Savory don't sleep on this all right SP a few more moments fiddle fatling and was unsuccessful at moving up Peter Pan's flight or switching it to Frozen so now I'm headed to tomorrowand where I have two experiences booked and something interesting happened that I was going to bring up in this video and Tron just gave me the perfect segue if you have a lightning Lane booked for an attraction and it closes for some reason during that window either technical difficulties or perhaps weather if it's an outdoor attraction you are going to be issued automatically what's called an experience Redemption the Disney Apple will send you a push notification about this you can also view it in my day and you'll know it's an experienced Redemption because it'll say that as compared to saying lightning Lane at the top of it again on that my day tab when you're issued an experience Redemption it is for anyone that had that lightning Lane booked at that same attraction when it reopens or in some cases you can use it at other attractions as well looks like Tron is having technical difficulty so I was issued an experiened Redemption to ride Tron at any point once it reopens now as a reminder Tron is a fancy ride so I can only use that at Tron I can't go redeem it at Peter Pan's flight because that's a multipass attraction if this had happened at a multipass attraction it will provide you options again you can ride that attraction once it reopens or it'll give you a list of other experiences it works at now if you had one booked for the barn Stormer and it closes cuz it's raining you're not going to be able to go use it on Space Mountain it's not going to give you that good of options but it may let you use it on Haunted Mansion or mini Adventures of winning the Pooh which is arguably better than The Barnstormer so make sure you always go check that out additionally experien redemptions do not count as Lightning Lanes so if that was a multipass lightning Lane you had book make sure to go book another one because that does not count as your three and it doesn't count as a fancy ride either so technically I could go book another fancy ride as now I only hold one maybe I'll go see if mine Train's open hold on it's temporarily close so is Tron I doubt it since it's you you know 3:30 day of I doubt there's any availability at mine train but it's also temporarily close so it and Tron must be conspiring together to be the fancy rides closing I don't know if they're rebelling I don't know what they if they've talked if like are the dwarves on the grid oh my gosh this would be terrible this would be terrible if the if the dwarves were on the grid can you imagine Dopey on the grid oh man anyway theoretically I could book M Train if it was available but it's not so let's go right to space down I literally think M Train could hear me saying that it was closed and I was literally sitting right there I made it to right here and looked at the tipboard again and it's open so you showed me Mine Train still no lightning Lanes but that's funny hey Tron bet you won't open right now bet you won't you wouldn't dare open right now seeing if I can you know bully Tron at opening too I know you're not open right now Tron but it'd be a lot cooler if you were I'd forgive you for all those murders of the people in the Grid in the meantime while Tron lets those sick Burns sink in let's go ride Space Mountain for which we also have a lightning Lane for Space Mountain again a tier one attraction here at Magic Kingdom not as in demand as far as numbers go as Tiana's or jungle crws or Peter Pan's flight remember a lot of this is a number num game and it all depends on the capacity of the attraction and the load and unload times there's a whole big mathematical algorithm as to how many lightning Lanes they can give out for each ride so Space Mountain incredibly popular but has a higher capacity and a faster load and unload than Jungle Cruise so therefore tends to have the most availability of the tier ones in this park so it's definitely a great one to use a lightning Lane on especially right now it's at 35 minute weight and it's definitely about to go up with all these people coming over from Tron but it's one I would book second or third when it comes to booking those tier ones Space Mountain has a 44 in height requirement and it is a rickety Rocket roller coaster that takes you through the stars and send you on your own space mission and what's very important about Space Mountain is that its 50th birthday is tomorrow Space Mountain opened up on January 15th 1975 and it is one of the rare exceptions where the original was here in Walt Disney World as opposed to Disneyland so I think that's pretty special now you can't film on the attraction so any footage you see is from previous footage but let's go to Spas now I did just confirm with the cast member that there is another touch point up at the top of the queue so I can't book another one till we tap in there but we'll see what we can find and hopefully Tron got my message by the time we get out of here thank you [Applause] y'all aren't going to believe this I got off Space Mountain Tron was still closed so I said you're really disappointing me Tron I'm not mad I'm just disappointed came over here to jfre surviv to get myself my beloved shaky ji and Tron heard me and it's open again anyway after tapping in twice at Space Mountain they had the second tap on up at the load area I went ahead and booked saurin over at Epcot since I know that's where I'm headed shortly and I'm going to still continue to fiddle fatle I fiddle Fatt in line while waiting for my jaw freeze for some reason the app just decided to uncheck Frozen as a favorite of mine so when I was fiddle feding I was having to scroll all the way down to look for Frozen so I edited my selections rechecked Frozen it showed back up I got got but hey at least it keeps popping back up maybe we'll get it frozen is elusive like ice melting or something so current status I have fancy ride for Tron fancy ride for Guardians of the Galaxy over at Epcot and multi pass I have Remy's ride at Tui adventure and saurin as well as Peter Pan's flight which I'm currently trying to fiddle fatle into an earlier one here or Frozen at Epcot Tron was $21 today for my fancy ride lightning Lane which is definitely quite steep especially when you start adding it up for a bunch of people so the good news is tron's no longer operating on a virtual queue it is a standby line or a fancy ride you no longer have to worry about virtual cues at 7:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. for this one you can just get in line that said it's incredibly popular and typically has one of if not the longest weights in the park so as with any of this it's all up to you and what's important for your family what do you want to prioritize your budget Etc as to what you're going to spend money on also note you do not have to buy multipass to purchase fancy rides and vice versa you could just purchase fancy rides you could just purchase multipass it's all up to you and your family or if you're going to Animal Kingdom a lot of time you may not even need to purchase multipass and just book that fancy ride for flight of Passage so again it's a mix and match situation it's all about whatever you want to do obviously if you're coming at a busier time if you've got room in your budget if you're not a rope dropper then yeah you may want to purchase multi pass every day for all of the different Parks but if you are going to get up early if you've got extended hours cuz of your Resort or maybe you've paid for an after hours then perhaps there are days you don't need to purchase multipass Tron is a good time especially if you haven't ridden it yet and especially if you can ride it at night this whole canopy right here lights up and it's incredible that's definitely the best part of the ride is the beginning outside launch 0 to 60 and you're going to go through this large setting out here and then you're going to Vibe around inside for a little bit John is one of those where you definitely don't have to have seen the films I haven't seen either to enjoy yourself my only complaint about this attraction truly is that it's very short it's about a 70c coaster Tron has a 48 in height requirement another important thing to know about Tron light cycle run presented by Enterprise TM is that it does have a very unusual seat it's straight over from Shanghai Disneyland and it's a motorcycle seat where you're going to have to lean forward and pull down a like back brace which is going to be what holds you into the attraction again it is very unusual and therefore not everyone is going to be comfortable or able to ride this attraction so I highly recommend coming to this test seat right outside making sure that you're going to be comfortable in there before you get in line and wait a long time to only find out it's not going to work for you one note is that there are modified seats on certain cars in the back that are like a standard roller coaster seat so you can talk to the cast members about using one of those there it goes thank you all right let's enter the grid baby fully tell you that going through the lightning Lane means you will miss literally nothing when it comes to the queue the que is the same the long part of the queue is out here and inside but the cool parts of the queue you're not going to miss so there's no disadvantage in that way to going the lighting Lane they actually have the cool part of the queue turned off right now which I understand it's to get people through the queue faster especially because they had a downtime they're now trying to get through as many people as possible especially since people like me were issued that experience Redemption pass so there's going to be more people going through through the lightning Lane than normal which is my friendly reminder right now to pack those patient pants always when you're visiting theme parks but also note that a lightning Lane does not mean immediate access it just means greatly reduced from the Post-it attraction time so especially if there's some kind of downtime you may still wait 10 minutes or so to get on the ride but you're going to wait significantly less than the standby queue so that's the perk now not at Tron you're not allowed to bring anything on so you're going to want to use a locker you can use a Magic Band or a key or if you don't have one uh like I use my phone uh you can get a card from the cast members just going to tap that on there and This Is Where I Leave [Music] You all right Tron done check we have entered the grid we have committed a crime a murder on the grid and we have exited the grid and speaking of exiting it's time to exit this park we got a date in Space over at epai now because I am headed out of the park I went ahead and cancelled my Peter Pan flight lightning Lane so I like to imagine right now there's someone fiddle fadling on their phone refreshing that screen and Peter Pan at 7:15 just popped up and they got so excited cuz they were able to book it that's what I like to picture anyway I did cancel it for two reasons though one I'm not going to use it I'm leaving the park I'm not going to keep a Peter Pan fight lightning Lane when someone else can use it and have some magic in Neverland it also does benefit me a little bit to get rid of it because like all good things the mega fadle comes at a price and the price for being able to Mega fadle is the fact that it defaults to Magic Kingdom so every time you refresh every time you pull down it sets back to Magic Kingdom then you can click over to Epcot but if you want to check Epcot again if you want to refresh it's going to default to Magic Kingdom so it's actually easier and faster for me to Fiddle Faddle for Frozen Ever After directly on the Epcot ti so because I have cancelled Peter Pan's flight I only have two booked now which means I can refresh directly on the Epcot tip board over and over and over again and hope frozen pops out I'll show you what I mean I got frozen ever pinned to the top of fcot and I can just pull it down and refresh it you'd think of all the lands for this to go faster and it'd be tomorrow land but it's not anyway this is a more direct route since I'm aiming for this one thing at this point but with that we are headed out of Magic Kingdom going to get the monreal over to Epcot we did five Banger attractions four multipass one fancy ride got two snacks and now we're headed out of the park I was here for about 5 hours I also did see two forms of entertainment but obviously you can move a lot faster than I do when you don't have to stop and Yap before and after each attraction the point of this video is not to see how much I can done but just to show you how the system works realistically which leads me to a good point to talk about some filler attractions again filler attraction means no harm means no offense not saying anything on this list is bad I'm just saying these are good things to do in between using those lightning lanes because again if you take away one thing from this video the best days in the park are a combination of lightning Lane and standby and entertainment and snacks and all the above if I wasn't leaving this park I would have left well enough alone with that Peter Pan's flight at 700 and I would have just kept working with the other two spots throughout the day so what are some good attractions that you can do as filler rides this is in addition to again getting a snack seeing a live stage performance meeting a character doing some shopping here at magicom some great filler rides include the Swiss Family Treehouse magic carpets of Aladdin the enchan Tiki Room the recently updated country bear Jamber Musical review It's a Small World Mickey's filart Magic Prince Charming Regal Carousel and chanana tales with Belle Under the Sea Journey The Little Mermaid UT jol if you will Dumbo the flying elephant the barn Storer tomorrow land Speedway and perhaps the best filler ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority people wer override Epcot most of the rides are filler rides if we're being really honest I'm talking Grand Fiesta tour the Seas with Nemo and Friends Turtle talk with Crush journey to imagination with figment living with the land spaceship earth all of those tend to have low weights and their delightful attractions that you can fill in between those e tickets at Hollywood Studios a lot of the fillers are going to be shows things like Muppet Vision 3D For The First Time in Forever a frozen singal along celebration Beauty the Beast live on stage on certain days Indiana Jones epic stunt spectacular walking through Walt Disney perents and see it while you still can Lightning McQueen Racing Academy it's closing this year over at Animal Kingdom great fillers include things like it's tough to be a bug also closing this year see it while you can Feathered Friends and flight headed up to rafiki's Planet watch to do the animation experience or the affection section where you can pet a goat as well as the animal trails in both Africa and Asia on the Montreal headed to Epcot so I'm going to do a little wait time check it's about 5:00 let's see what the wait times and the availability looks like across all the parks this is without any fiddle fat laning all right we got Buzz 20 minutes of 655 lightning Lane still lightning Lanes at Mansion plenty at small world 40 minutes at Jungle Cruise no lightning Lanes nothing left at win the Pooh nothing left at Peter Pan's flight I know nothing left at Pirates no fancy rides for Mine Train 6:25 so about an hour out for space that's pretty good nothing left for Tiana nothing left for Tron all right that'll do Magic Kingdom let's head over to Epcot literally oh my gosh stop no way well that's not what I meant to do but we'll take it that's hilarious all right well that's good for me let's go see what the other fcot tops are like that is why a 55 minute weight at Frozen uh there is no more viral Q Spots I'm going to guests or fancy rides not currently available for purchase at Guardians no wait plenty of times at living with the land and figment 545 so 30 minutes out for Mission Spa o Remy's is temporarily closed guess the rats are going crazy in the kitchen again saurin plenty of availability I'm going to guess 15minute wait let's head over to Studios let's see most of the shows are done for the day so you're going to see no availability there you could still book Smugglers and Mickey mini those are both tier one you could not book Rock and roller coaster or Slinky Dog which are the other tier ones rise has returned that's fun Tower and toy both out both around 30 minutes those are the best tier twos there so that's not surprising and then let's head to Animal Kingdom which I believe closes in 45 minutes so there's not going to be a ton of crowds right now just because it's about about to close most people don't hang around in the afternoon at Animal Kingdom but there is availability at flight of passage for soon there's availability at dinosaur and Everest for soon no more shows looks like safaris is closed yeah Safari's closed at 5 so that's gone obviously Navi River Journey's out but I do recommend often visiting Animal Kingdom in the afternoon because so many people don't as you can see the weight tubs are very low but anyway uh we got Frozen now and just like that we have made it into the experimental prototype community of Tomorrow Epcot where we have a date with the Guardians and our fellow Teran I literally can't believe that I booked Frozen as I was showing you the weight times okay if that's how we get it that's how we get it but that's just funny Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind is once again the fancy ride here at Epcot and like Tiana's biou Adventure it is only available via lightning lane or virtual Que the virtual Q rules are the exact same as Tiana's bio Adventure 700 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. are the drops if your ticket requires it you do need an Epcot reservation for the 7 a.m. drop which can be booked anywhere uh for the 1 p.m drop you do need to have tapped into Epcot one thing I will add about virtual CU if you are eligible for extended evening hours which is a perk only available to Disney World Delux Resort guests and Disney Resort Villa guests it's when one of the parks usually Magic Kingdom or Epcot are open for a few extra hours just for those guests if you are eligible for that perk there is an additional virtual queue on those days only at 6:00 p.m. and you do have to have a valid hotel reservation linked to your My Disney Experience account don't try and join the virtual Queue at 6 p.m. if you're not staying at a qualified Hotel Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind has a 42 in height requirement and it's a first of It's Kind Omni coaster meaning the cars can turn and make you look at all different directions here you're once again team up with all your favorite Guardians Star-Lord I don't actually know if he's anyone's favorite rocket Groot Gamora Drax kruella Deville and Sergeant Jeffords to once again save the Galaxy and the most fun thing about this besides the backwards lunch is the fact you don't know which of the six songs you're going to get so it's fun to ride again and again except you literally can't ride it again and again you could ride it like twice virtual queue and then fancy ride if you did qualify for the extended hours then you could ride it Thrice cuz you can do the 6 p.m. one and the 7 or 1 p.m. one and then lightning Lane so it's fun to ride as many times as you're eligible I guess you could say it's fun to ride again and again on different days but look how long this line is right here this is the return time that's looking at least an hour if you're not going through the lightning Lane I'm not sure if it had a downtime earlier or what but while the queue is cool on this attraction and you do miss a lot of it by going through the lightning Lane you also save yourself a lot of time for me personally I don't care for virtual cues because I don't like not having control of when I'm going to get called back especially if you're doing something like Park hopping and you don't know when your group's going to get called or if it's going to take 20 minutes or an hour I just prefer to have a Time locked in so I tend to want to book the lightning Lane for the attractions that have virtual queue but as with anything it's all down to what you prefer and what your plans are or even if you're not Park hoing when I'm at Epcot for example I like to do my rides first and then eat and drink around a festival or eat drink around the world with a virtual queue you don't know when you're going to get called back I could be having a delicious beverage in Germany and then have to walk all the way to the front of the park after drinking a beer ride this ride no I couldn't so for me on this ride in particular I do tend to go for the fancy ride but as with anything it's all about what your family prioritizes when it comes to making these decisions I'm walked on to your vehicle we'll be right behind you nothing to worry about unless we cannot stop this usually like man then you likely don't what is that noise noise no one's going to stop rock and roll from existing oh [Music] Christ ja it's an honorary title they're not coming with I see Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind check I do love that ride it is so much fun and maybe not fun for everyone but I had a little like ride delay that I've only experienced a couple times where they must have had a delay at unload or something so at the part where you're supposed to shoot backwards we didn't right away we sat there for a little bit there was like some extra audio which I have heard before and then we just sat there in the dark all the way back all the way to the Big Bang 95% certain which means as a 5% chance we're just in a tunnel a tunnel in space we've seen weirder things quill I am root yes like that so you didn't know when it was going to shoot back so it made it more fun but always you know you never know what's going to happen I got the song Ian which is not my favorite but what are you going to do but I noticed the guy in front of me was dancing and vibing clearly to a different beat than I was and I noticed when got off that he had earbuds in and I've seen people do this they bring their airpods and they play their own soundtrack and I asked him what it was and he was like I'm listening to September that's way I'm never disappointed which is funny so that's something you could try pick a song and see if it works on guardians but um you're on your own if you lose your airpods also got to say $18 for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind feels like better use of money than $21 at Tron both are fun but Guardians is top tier now I'm headed across the way here to go into the L Pavilion and do saurin around the world made it to everyone's mom's favorite ride saurin around the world has a 40in height requirement and it takes you on a hand glider as you soar around the world as you look at iconic places such as the Taj Mahal the savanas of Africa the Pyramids of Giza the Eiffel Tower and more saurin has been pretty popular ever since it opened almost 20 years ago the Disney World version turns 20 this year which hurts my soul a little bit thank you however it does not get near as long of a line as the other tier one attractions in this park which again are frozen Ever After and Remy's right to Adventure which is why this is definitely your last priority when it comes to tier ones in Epcot epcot's pretty hard to book tier ones in right now as you saw throughout the day today you're usually lucky if you get Remy's or frozen if you're hopping into this park we were very lucky to get both today and even if you're starting at Epcot depending what time you start it can be difficult to get both I do think that will get easier when test track reopens later this year test track will be another tier one but as it stands right now because saurin isn't hard to get and there's pretty much always availability everybody with multipass is fighting for frozen or Remy which is what made it so tricky [Music] [Music] saurin a winner as always I do like that they update the last scene a couple months ago so that it shows current Epcot it used to show old future world okay so technically when I tapped into saurin I could book another one cuz again you can always have three but I didn't book another one and if I'm being real with you that's going to be my last ride at the night I know that I have Remy's R to Adventure and Frozen Ever After booked but I'm going to cancel them someone else is going to be able to pick them up little pixie dust moment uh and someone who's actually on vacation can enjoy those attractions cuz I've made my point I was able to get them I showed how the system worked I'm not doing any kind of challenge so this video doesn't need to be longer just because I could go ride those rides right now okay now before I get into today's recap and just some final tips and tricks for using multi-pass and single pass lightning Lanes I would be remissed to make a whole video about lightning Lanes at Walt Disney World and not talk about lightning Lane Premiere pass lightning Lane Premiere pass is a new part of using lightning lanes that debuted last year it has the same booking Windows as multi-pass or single Pass Resort guests can book book 7 days in advance for their whole trip non Resort guests can book 3 days in advance lightning Lane Premier PASS gives you all of the lightning Lanes in that Park both multi-pass and single pass so fancy rides for one cost it additionally does not require you to make any time reservations so you can go to any of the rides whenever you want throughout the day one ride only you still can't rewrite anything it also is not eligible for Park hoing but theoretically it would be a much easier day cuz you don't have to pre-plan when you want to do things you don't have to worry about fiddle fadling for anything you just know that you've got every single lightning Lane fancy rides included when you walk into the park that day it functions very similar to Universal's basic Express Pass not The Express unlimited cuz with unlimited over there you can ride everything we've got videos on that if you're going to Universal but basically it's just you pay for it you show up you ride the rides you want in that Park the reason I've not done a video on this yet cuz it does sound like a nice product is the cost like everything the cost does vary by date and what park you're going to but for Animal Kingdom it starts at $119 per person and goes up to $199 per person Epcot $149 to $249 Hollywood Studios $249 to $349 and Magic Kingdom starts at $329 and goes up to $449 per person and does not includes your Park ticket the fact that you can't park hop with this or reide anything is wild to me I think this product is good in theory but that price tag absolutely not so I have not done a video on it because I don't personally see the point of purchasing this product when most days at most Parks Magic Kingdom being the exception you can go Allin multipass and fancy ride for less than $50 per person it's wild to me to spend $450 to like lightning Lane everything at Magic Kingdom and you can't even Park hob especially when you consider how many things do you actually need to lightning Lane at all of these Parks sure Christmas week New Year's week it's really really busy and everything can get 30 40 plus minute weights but on a normal day if you're paying the lowest fost for Magic Kingdom $329 as you thought saw throughout the day today you only really need lightning Lane at like seven things so that product does exist if you've got that amount of money lying around and you don't want to deal with fiddle fatling or reserving times live your best life but I should also knowe there comes a point in this product that it's less expensive to do a VIP tour if you max out how many people can go on a VIP tour up to 10 guests are the same cost there is a minimum per hour and it's several hundred per hour but if you put 10 people on a VIP tour it actually ends up being less than the cost of buying this for 10 people so there's that product if you really truly want me to review it I can but considering I could pull all the lightning lanes for any one park with regular multi pass I don't know I see the point so let us recap our fabulous day here again I paid $29 for multipass today and was able to reserve Pirates of the Caribbean Tiana's Bayou Adventure Haunted Mansion space Fountain sorn around the world Remy's Ratatouille adventure and Frozen Ever After additionally I paid for those fancy rides $18 at Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind and $21 at Chan light cycle Lu hopefully this video was very helpful in showing you everything that you need to know to maximize and use the system efficiently on your next Walt Disney World trick note this is not how the system functions in Disneyland Disneyland while changed the name to match Walt Disney World still functions like Genie plus meaning it is a first available system if you'd like an updated video there we do have some Disneyland trips in the works for this year so let me know and I can potentially do a new one in Disney did but as far as Walt Disney World goes that is all the info that is the updated like light Lane guide for 2025 so let's recap some of those top tips number one always book as soon as you can and that applies to both when your booking window opens either there 7 days or 3 days out or when you're in the park as soon as you tap into that next attraction be booking the next one cuz again you can always have three multi-pass rides so in most cases it is to your advantage to have three multi-pass rides if there's an attraction that you really want but you can't find the right time go ahead and book it and then try to fiddle fadle it for a later time additionally it's also in your best interest to start using the system relatively early in your day so if you are unable to get early times for some of the attractions you want it is highly recommended to book one in the time window that you're going to be arriving so you can go ahead and tap in somewhere and then start booking those lightning lanes for other attractions number two don't forget that tapping in at your first attraction unlocks a whole bunch of things and unlocks booking other tier ones modifying current attractions into tier ones and park hopping including those tier ones which is again why it's in your best interest to be tapping into attraction relatively quickly after you get into the park as always fiddle fatle never settle for what you are given initially continue looking and see what you can find as you saw today through a little bit of fiddle fatling I was able to book tier ones across the board I was able to move times that I wanted so giving yourself a little bit of time to just kind of pull down the screen and refresh while you're standing in a queue or running to the restroom or whatever can really benefit you number something make sure you pin your things make sure that you on the my day page get started and select your favorites that way when you are fle fatling when you are looking at the tipboard you can see your top attractions you don't have to worry about sliding through a bunch of different attractions you're not trying to book Because when it comes to fiddle fatling those big attractions every second really counts if you are Park hopping consider your fourth attraction booked being in the next Park especially if you're aiming for another tier one so for example today the first thing I did when I tapped into my first attraction at Pirates was look to see if I could get Remy or frozen if I had been going to Hollywood Studios the first first thing I would have done would have been to see if I could have possibly gotten Rock and roller coaster slanky dog or Mickey and minis Runway Railway number something know which parts you want to use multi pass and which ones you don't as I said with that Animal Kingdom example earlier in that case it may be more beneficial to broke drop Animal Kingdom just purchased the fancy ride for flight of Passage and book your multipass lightning Lanes at your next Park so that you can lock in some favorites which Rings me to ROP dropping a lot of people swear by rope dropping and it's true rope dropping which is the Disney term for getting to the park to open so that you can be some of the first people on the attractions is certifiably a good way to maximize your day being in the park as soon as the Park is open is in arguably a good way to get more things done if you are going to rope drop consider rope dropping those fancy rides to save some money or consider Rog dropping one at the tier one or if you're not worried about that you're happy to spend the money on the fancy rides Rog drop another tier one attraction so that's one less thing you're fighting to fiddle fadle for personally I don't like Rogue dropping I'm not a m person it's very crowded at rope drop so I prefer to come in a little bit later and Fiddle Fatt my way throughout the day and then take advantage of being here later at night there's no one right way to have an amazing day at Walt Disney World so don't let anyone make you feel bad if you don't feel like getting here for ROP drop but again on the other side of that inarguably being here for longer means more things means tapping in Faster means being able to book more things it all just comes down to what's important to you and your family is it getting every single ride in the park done or is it having a little bit more of a relaxing trick and hey maybe you're an early riser I'm a I'm a night gr also note the tipboard will always let you know if you can book another one if you ever have any question of if you book too many if you've got an experienced Redemption from an attraction closing look at the top of the tipboard and it will say you can book another one right now or it'll say you could book another one once you use one so the tip board will help you along the way and speaking of those experienced redemptions remember that's what you get if your attraction is closed during your return window make sure if you get one of those that you book another thing if it's a multipass cuz that no longer counts as one of your three and if it's a fancy ride it no longer counts as one of your two so you could book another one if you planned to head to another park or there were two in that Park like there were for me today next being a Walt Disney resor guest really does give you a big Advantage when it comes to the system being able to book seven days in advance as opposed to 3 days especially during visier times is often the difference in being able to book the fancy rides and book popular rides like Slinky Dog or Tiana's B Adventure there have been many times that I as a local annual passholder that can't book until 3 days out have not been able to book F rides especially rise of the resistance so just keep that in mind when you're making your travel plans that yes it's typically more expensive to stay at Walt Disney World but the perk of being able to book early coupled with the perk of being able to get into the parks half an hour early and if you're at a deluxe Resort or a Villa Resort extended hours on certain nights those are all pretty good perks of staying at w dis Resorts and as a pro tip this is not a sponsored video but if you want to stay at a deluxe Resort or a Villa Resort for a fraction of the cost this is why we partner with DVC rental store we stayed there last night at the poly for onethird of the rack rate so you may be able to book a resort that has those extended hour perks for the same cost is scate each regardless of if you're a Walt Disney World Resort guest or not when your booking window opens if you have a multi-day ticket book the furthest days out because that is going to have the best availability I recommend aiming for Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom on those days because those are the two parks that are the most in demand for lightning Lanes especially rise of the resistance overall I think Hollywood Studios is the hard part to use the system at because there are so many e ticket attractions and then kind of stuff you don't need it at Magic Kingdom there's so many attractions that it's valid on and a lot of them are kind of that mid-tier attraction so it levels out a little bit easier and it quantity makes it easier to use when you're in the park as well over the holidays I did a video at Hollywood Studios to show you what it's like as a non-resort guest trying to book day of and what that looked like so check that out for kind of a worst case scenario using the system and spoiler alert I was still able to have a very successful day us these tips and tricks and lastly as I keep saying the best days are not just lightning Lanes the best days are not exclusively spent on your phone refreshing and Fiddle fatling the best days is use a combination of standby fancy rides multipass rides character snacks entertainment Rogue dropping if you want so make sure don't forget you're on vacation have fun there's a lot to stress over when it comes to booking and planning well Disney World it is not a simple just show up vacation and this system is probably the most confusing part of that but once you get into the habit of using it you you will see that you can fiddle F your way into having a wonderful wonderful time no matter the situation okay and with that I know that was a lot of yapping but I do like doing this video every year as just a refresher because I know this is one thing a lot of people have questions about again one of the most complicated parts of coming to w Disney World and so I want to make sure everyone can have the best vacation possible so here they are all my 2025 tips tricks updates now with more lightning little more fiddle and a lot more fatle let me know what other questions you have down below make sure you go check out our other videos as well again when the system debuted last year I did a guide similar to this but with a lot more comparing it to Genie plus I did a video series as a resort guest to show you what that's like I also did Park by- Park videos as a non-resort guest so there are so many lightning Lane videos for you to check out and in the meantime friends make sure to
