Ramadan okay so we renew our intentions and we are we we keep the intention in mind that the month of Ramadan is going to be coming so inshallah may Allah subhana allow us to witness the Ramadan allow us to worship Him subhanahu waala in Ramadan in a manner that Allah subhana tala is pleased with us okay let's begin we begin with Surah fa nowah fa is the opening the it it means the opening and it is a Maki Surah and I will delve into it a little bit more compared to others um so please bear with me he says the essence of is of Islam is Quran and the essence of Quran is Sur fa okay so we need to understand and we need to reflect on this it's a profound statement so what are we being told yet that everything we need to know of the Quran is packed in this one Surah and he says it is one of the easiest suras to recite and memorize yeah and it is sending us a message it is a message from Allah subhah wa ta'ala to all of us to all the human beings not to the Muslims alone that your salvation lies in living by the Quran yeah and you see the importance ofah fa is it's so important and that is why we've been asked to repeat it minimum 17 times a day the ones who only offer F Salah the the people who only offer F Salah they've been told you know you have to recite 17 times and if you do you do the 12 R which you know if you pray the Sunnah the Sunnah then you are guaranteed a house in a palace in Jenna is built for you every day and sallallahu alhi wasallam did not miss these Sun Sun but you know we say to the people we say to the children if you've just started praying don't force them on the Sunnah prayers just let them get in the habit of the F Salah and once they are in the habit then tell them tell them the benefits and then ask them to do the you know there are some people who enforce their children to do the Sunnah prayers as a result they don't even pray the F Salah and we say to the people who have just started praying you know um we say just stick with the F Salah for the moment okay so Surah f is so important that we've been asked to repeat it minimum 17 times if you just bring the F Salah five times a day and 30 if you perform the so what does this tell us this tells us that Allah subhah wa tala the most merciful he wants us he wants the good for us and he wants it to come to us in the easiest way possible but you know sadly the thing is that many of us don't even know the meaning ofah fat Surah fa is the introduction of the Quran it is the summary of the Quran and Surah fa when it was revealed it was revealed at the time when um the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was in mekah like I told you it is a Maki Surah so first the ayas that were revealed was the five Ayah of then and then F so you see that this can this Surah can be a great um um dawa discussion yeah from a dawa point of view it is um it is a Surah that we can we can start talking about to the people around us um you know who are who have not benefited from the Quran Surah fa has many names the scholars they have the MU of the Quran they said that there are 36 names 36 names ofah F three names can be traced back to the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and and one of among the three one of them is mentioned in the Quran you know um the three names are Al like we saying right this is going back to the Hadith and the Seven often repeated is mentioned in the Quran so what do we understand we understand that f is um a and it is a summary of the Quran now generally the verses of the Quran you know they come under the banner of one of the three themes number one meaning these this verse is going to instill the awe of Allah in your heart in the heart of the listener so that's going to be either it is going to instill the a of Allah subhana tal in your heart number two the second theme May beam so it will have guidance or instructions or guidance and instruction and the third theme is going to be kasas meaning it will have stories of the previous Nations so all the all the ayas of the Quran if you were to and even Surah F if you if you analyze it Ayah by Ayah then you will know that each Ayah falls under one one of these three categories um AB while he was sitting with jelam no so I beg your pardon Abbas reported that while jiel alisam was sitting with the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he heard a creaking sound above him he lifted his head and said this is a gate opened in Jenna today which has never been opened before then when an Angel descended through it he said this is an angel who has come down to earth who had never come down before he greeted and said rejoice in two lights given to you which you have not which have not been given to any Prophet before you and what is it and the concluding verses ofah Bak you will never recite a letter from them from which you will not be given a reward you see how important um Surah is so let's begin with what are you asking you asking Allah you're turning when you're saying you're saying I don't have any power to protect myself I need to turn to the all powerful I'm incapable Y and you are the most capable yeah I am weak and I Turn to You Al okay so what are you saying Allah Allah I seek help against what is the meaning of Shan it's important that we know shatan is the one that is far removed from the mercy of Allah subhana wa tala and Shan can be it's a generic term it can be used for the humans or it can be used from from for the Gin anyone that is moved from the path of Allah subhana wa taala okay and Shan is not one being mind you is is the leader of the okay arim arim is an adjective describing the Shan yeah rajim or comes from the word rajim it means to Pelt with stones meaning cast aside you know Shan has been casted away so we begin with the recitation of the Quran we begin with because we're cleansing ourselves we are purifying our tongue from whatever speech that we were doing before the Quran okay so we ask Allah subhana wa tala to to seek we seek purification and we we seek protection from the shatan from corrupting the understanding of the Quran from corrupting our understanding of the Quran so what are we saying when we're saying we're saying Ya Allah I want guidance from this book I want this book to help me to go to to be on the right path and I don't want to be deluded y yeah so you know you are expressing your utmost humility towards Allah subhanahu waala okay and then we say now it be means with in or with ISM means the name Allah is the name of Allah subhanahu waala now it is the the beginning and the short is you know people say basah you must have heard of the word basah basah is the beginning of every Surah of the Quran except Surah TBA okay and this the strongest opinion is that it is not the part of Sur F but the introductory verse to every Surah okay so how do we translate that we are saying I I'm reciting so you know we say whenever we change ing um we are eating we are stepping in the house whenever you're doing anything you begin with bismah so that means you are asking Allah subhana to put Baraka in it but when we are reciting the Quran we say okay so only for doing the actions whatever you're asking Ya Allah put Bara in it in whatever you're doing okay but when you're reciting the Quran you are going to say Allah what does Allah and I told you B is in or with and is is the name Allah Allah contains all the names of Allah subhah wa tala so what are you doing you are saying I begin to recite in or with every single name of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala right so Allah what is Allah he is the one who everything worships and they should worship if you know Allah subhana guides them he subhah wa tala is the one who every creation is enslaved to he subhah wa ta'ala is the one who people turn to in desperation yeah so when we say what is it helping you it helps you to get the sincerity in your heart it sets you in the right mood in the right frame of mind so let's clear our mind and and free our mind of all the thoughts so when we are saying bismah what are we doing we are expressing our sincerity we are seeking Baraka and we are seeking that Allah subhana tal accepts our efforts alhamdulillah all the praise and thanks to Allah the lord of the and what does is um everything the mankind the gin and all that exists but before that let me just explain to you what is ham ham is you know when you love venerate and all so this you are you you are praising someone out of choice now Arabs have many names for praise they have they have shuk okay but ham is specific to Allah subhah wa ta'ala this when you are doing you are praising Allah subhah wa ta'ala um out of your own free choice so this is our first steps to towards gratitudes for Allah subhana tala you see when Adam Alam was created first thing he did was sneeze and what did he do immediately he praised Allah subh he said alhamdulillah when Alam was saved from the floods what did he say all praise and thanks is due to Allah who saved us from the wrongdoing Nation you see when she was um she I'm going to paraphrase this okay has said that when Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was in a pleasing situation he would say alhamdulillah and he was not in a pleasing situation and he was going through a stressful time he would say ald so again he's not complaining so this is a take-home point for you when you go you know and you know sometimes my friends when one of them you know she used to always sayd and I would know that she's going through a difficult time so you know try and put this in practice alhamdulillah when you are in a pleasing situation and when when you're not so pleasing situation ask you know teach yourself to to follow the Sunnah and remember we've learned from Surah YF as well that you know things which on the apparent are difficult they are uh they have a purpose yeah the purpose is that we do sa we we're patient so that we gain the rewards and our Rings ranks are raised higher in Jenna now most of the scholars you know they say Allah is the greatest name of Allah the greatest name is Allah and others say that it is but the strongest opinion is it is Allah okay Allah means the possessor of divinity the one who has the attributes of lordship and then alhamdulillah so who is Rob has five root meanings okay Rob falls under the category of the owner Malik Master a say nurturer sustainer and is the one who gives gifts so R falls under all this and if you were to I wish we could just go through one Ayah at a time and we would talk about it but my dear we don't the first view is Alam means the race or species of generations so it can be um it includes the human it includes the Gin it includes the generations that came before the generations that will come one who gives us gifts is the sustainer is the owner andat so we are affirming the attribute of Allah and the name of Allah Allah and then Rob we we affirming the attribute and the name of Allah subhanahu waala and then te refers to the attribute of Allah Alman is an attribute of Allah it is encompassing Mercy by nature and arim is the action how Allah subhana T gives it out another meaning ofman is thatman is Allah subh is merciful to all the creation so there are different opinions so you know um I leave it to you how do you understand but it's better that if you know okay so Allah is merciful to all the creation in D you see that people who worship anything other than Allah subh is Allah not giving them gifts is Allah not giving them the benefits of duny Allah is but in the these disbelievers are going to be deprived from the mercy of Allah yeah but is that Allah will continue to be merciful to the Believers and that is why he isim his Mercy subhana wa tala extends from this duny and continues to touch the believer in the Hereafter may Allah subhana wa tala make us one of them and then we go on to now you so what we are understanding is that you know human beings are created so has there has to be accountability yeah Malik meaning the owner of the day of judgment okay and the prophet sallallahu alaihi am recited this this Ayah in two ways he recited it as Malik and also Malik we the the recitation that H and that we follow we say Malik um but out of 10 famous reciters yeah which gives us they give us the 10 modes of recitation three chose to recite Malik and the rest of the seven chose to recite Malik okay and Malik means the the king of the day of judgment okay so what is it that Allah subhah wa ta'ala has all the authority the power the Dominion it belongs to Allah subhana wa tala so a message is being sent out to the Kings the leaders of the world that on that day you will realize who the true king of the Kings is you see um in dunia people can have you know we see people have control over certain things but they may not have an authority over o o over things okay um um so on the day of judgment it will be known truly who the king of kings is so may Allah subh make us of those who have easy accountability on that day um I just I just emphasized on Malik I'm going to come on the day of recompense but before that write a Dua for yourself Allah make my accounting easy on that day and if you remember last year we've covered this Dua in detail so Allah subhana tal is the owner of time yeah Y is time okay the the day and a Dean it has two meanings it can mean uh it can mean accountability to take into account uh and it can also mean uh recompense so the re the compense is going to be either a reward or a punishment so Allah subhana is saying that he is the owner of this day which in which the Deeds of the human beings are going to be presented and they are going to be um either punished or rewarded AB said de it is the day in when Allah subhana T will do the accounts of the People based on their deeds so you you see that is a symbol of the justice of Allah subhana wa tala and I was thinking with all the things that are happening in the world and we all know and me Allah is the suffering of the Muslims around the world and especially in in in in the part of the world where they are being deprived of the basic human rights we we see that how the the day of judgment has to come honestly the day of J it is a day of justice and you know this strengthens the believer the the believer knows that there is going to be a day of judgment yeah and you know and that keeps him going that keeps him going and you see how the Iman are of the people I'm talking about you see that we are sitting in our luxurious homes and you know I would say luxurious because compared to what they are suffering may Allah ease their Affairs we are living a luxurious life and yet they are they believe in Allah subhana wa tala and all they say is alhamdulillah in dun people can get away with uh you know being oppress be being oppressors but on the day of judgment that is true Justice is going to be prevailing then what do we do um then we say now the core message the core message of of these first three ay is that you know prophets were sent and and that is why you see that we have ald how do we know that Allah is the from the um the teachings of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam so the first um ay that we have done they mention the that our IM in Allah subhana tala Iman in the prophets and Iman in um in the Hereafter and IM in the prophets is uh how do we know Allah subh he he sent the guidance um through the prophet sallallahu alaih wasallam um then these three verses also en encapsulate um three pillars of worship we have to always have love fear and hope okay and when we are saying alhamdu we are saying it out of love for Allah subhana wa tala when we saying we have hope in Allah 's mercy and when we say we truly fear Allah subhana tala and we ask Allah subhana wa tala uh to make us of those people who have the easiest of accountability now all these reasons come together to have an impact on now I'm sure all of you have your your hearts are impacted with these AAS and then what do we say and then you say y all this is going to happen I need to sort myself out and what do I say to you you alone we worship and you alone we ask for help so what is I is worshiping a worshiping Allah subhana T and being the slave of Allah subhah wa tala now you do everything I is you do everything that Allah subhana has commanded you to do so even if you don't understand the logic behind it you submit to Allah subhana you don't ask questions yeah and it is forbidden to divert any act of worship to other than Allah subhah wa tala okay so when you're saying you say I I not only need your help y but I can't do it without you I need you yeah and this is and IM he says that this means I can't worship you without your help is coming from meaning to ask for help to seek help so you're saying I turn to you but I need your help right and this is called this is a frame of mind okay so Dua is and then once you do that you say y I'm now ready to take instructions so you say when you say I need I'm I worship you and I need your help then Allah subhana wa tala has revealed inah that is because in FA you have said I am your slave y now the rest of the Quran comes to you as a form of guidance so now you see the next Ayah the theme is changing okay the the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam is it's AI that I Allah says I have divided the prayer into two parts for my slave is whatever he asks for and then and he when he says alhamdulillah Allah when you say alhamd Allah subh is so proud Allah says my slave has thanked me and when you say Allah subhana T says my servant has praised me when you say Malik Allah subhana wa tal says my servant has magnified me and when you say Allah says now Allah says that this is an affair between me and my servant and then what do you say and Allah says my servant will have whatever they ask for you see my dears Subhan Allah how many many times have you recited and you just went around you just you were not thinking you did not realize that each Ayah you're getting a reply Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam would pause after every Ayah ofah fat you see that because this is a conversation between you and Allah subhana wa tala and you see how many times we're asking Allah Allah guide us to the straight path but why is it that we are most you know out of the path you see because we're not putting our heart to the translation this is is the first Dua in the Quran and he says this is the best way to ask first praise Allah subhana wa tala and then present your need okay so you know what what first few ay were praising Allah subhana wa tala and then so now you have learned how to make Dua and we know that Dua is do not be arrogant and not ask Allah subhana tala what is linguistically it means to guide in a gentle and a beautiful manner okay and hia also means beneficial advice and hia he says is of two types it is um irad means it is guidance and Direction okay so it's knowledge basically and number two is the ability to do good so hi encompasses both things so what are you asking you asking Allah subhana wa taala to act and live by the knowledge that you you are uh receiving so you're asking Allah to show you the truth and make you act upon it and then so the part the way of Those whom you restored Your Grace um and not the way of those who earned your anger such as the Jews and nor those who went astray such as the Christians and this is from um this is from the correct opinion that the ones who have earned the wrath of Allah subhana tala are the people who had knowledge and still drift Ed away from the truth and that is the Jews and the ones um you know who are misguided and they uh because of the ignorance they are the Christians and the correct path is of the the prophets the sik the martyrs and the righteous people these are the ones who we need to be following now tell me how do you feel have has this enlightened you alhamdulillah alhamdulillah may Allah put Bara in our time now let's move on toak should I zoom in more or are you okay uh can you see the can you see the screen or separated letters um and no one knows the meaning of these words ex letters except Allah subhah wa tala it is from the Miracles of the Quran this is a book whereof there is no doubt a guidance to those who are the pious and the righteous person who fear Allah subhana wa ta'ala and love much uh and perform uh all the kinds of good deeds which Allah subhana wa tala has ordained let me just give you an explanation and let me just give you first the theme now the theme of Surah Bak is invitation to the Divine guidance okay so and and it includes all the stories and the incidents that revolve around the central theme being the invitation to guidance okay and this is not just addressing one group of people but to all and the virtues of umah Bak are important that we you should know and the Hadith this this Hadith ISL wasallam said do not turn your houses into Graves verily Shan does not enter the house where Surah Bak is recited okay and it's another Hadith in in which the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said everything has a hump a peak and Al bakar is the peak of the Quran whoever recites Al Bak at night in in his house then Shan will not enter this that house for three nights and whoever recites it during the day in his house and shatan will not enter that house for three days and another Hadith there's a sahabi andar this is inkari Al he said that he was once reciting Surah Al Bak while his horse was tied next to him the horse started to make noise when us stopped reciting The Horse stopped moving about when he resumed when he resumed reading the horse started moving about again when he stopped reciting the The Horse stopped moving and when he resumed okay meanwhile his son Yahya was close to the horse and he feared that the horse might step on him when he moved his son back he looked up to the sky and saw a cloud radiating with light that looked like lamps in the morning he went to prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and told him what had happened and then said oh messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam my son Yahya was close to the horse and I feared that the horse might step on him when I attend when I attended to him and raised my head to the sky I saw a cloud with lights like lamps so I went and but I couldn't see it the prophet wasallam said do you know what it what that was he said no the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said they were angels that came close hearing your voice reciting Surah bak and if you had kept reading the people would have been able to see the Angels when the morning came and the angels would not be hidden from their eyes okay so you see how the angels are attracted um to the the recitation of the Quran and um another Hadith is um and this is in narrated by IM Ahmed that Abu narrated to them that Bish M said Abdullah Bin narrated from his father I was sitting with the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and I heard him say learn Surah Bak because in learning in it there is a blessing in ignoring it there is sorrow and the S and The Magicians cannot memorize it Ya Allah look at that he kept silent for a while and then said learn bak and Al Iman because they are two lights and they shade their people on the day of Resurrection just as two clouds two spaces of shade or two lines of of flying birds the Quran will meet its companion in the shape of a pale-faced man on the day of Resurrection when his grave is open the Quran will ask him do you know me the man will say I do not know you the Quran will say I'm your companion the Quran has been brought the I'm your companion the Quran which has brought you thirst during the Heat and made you stay up during the night every Merchant has his certain trade but this day you are behind all types of Trades kingship will then be given to him in his right hand eternal life in his left hand and the crown of Grace will be placed on his head head his parents will also be granted two garments that the people of this life could never afford they will say where why are we granted these garments it will be said because your son or daughter was carrying the Quran it will be said to the reader of the Quran read and Ascend through the levels of paradise that person will go and ascending as long long as he recites whether reciting slowly or quickly and this Hadith has been recorded in Ma so you see then I I would like you all and all of us to make the intention that we need to memorize the Quran and we need to memorize bak and Al Iman like I said I've spoken previously as well that you know these days people are suffering people have been uh um you know they have been inflicted with certain things and they are putting money and and this has become a business of R you know if you have Surah Bak you've memorized you know how to recite you've perfected your recitation there's no way Shan can attack you inshallah you're going to be protected okay so let's begin like I said to you these are that there is no doubt in this book and this book is in the and where is it is in the highest place like I said is is guidance right is and ta um is a guidance for the so what is the trait of ta now ta has levels it was you know asked he was a sahabi he asked about ta said have you Ever Walked on a path that has thorns on it Omar said yesai said what did you do then he said I rolled up my sleeves and struggled said that is ta so you see every time whatever you are doing you're asking yourself your the question is this going to be pleasing to Allah subhana wa tala is this not going to you leave what is what is displeasing to Allah subhana wa tala and you do what is pleasing to Allah subhana wa tala and then I'm going to read the first five ayats and then we're going to talk about [Music] it now these other people now who are the people the people who are so the we are being told the qualities of what are the qualities they believe in the Unseen so they have IM in the Unseen what is the Unseen we believe in Allah subhah wa tala we believe we've not met the prophet sallallah alhi wasallam but we believe in prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and all the messengers we believe in his angels we believe in his books we believe in the day of judgment we believe in in the heaven and in Jen in Janam we believe in the of Allah subhana wa tala the good of it and the bad of it we believe that everything comes from Allah subhana wa tala so you see that this is if you have this quality underline a highlight this part and if you have this quality be happy that you have the quality of a okay like I said to you that you you need to have your um highlighters and then inallah you're going to highlight and then the next quality is and they establish their prayer so you are you asking yourself that I am I praying according to the Sunnah so I don't have time my dear otherwise I would have spent a lot of time spend teaching you how should you be praying okay just go back and for your reference write down I'm going to go back and check on the Hadith on the sahabi that was that came to pray and wasallam said go and pray again and this was uh said you know he was sent at least two or three times and then he said Yool Allah teach me I don't know so go into that so any anyone who prays like the prophet sallallahu alai wasallam and they spend of what we have provided for them so the third quality is that they spend from what Allah subhana wa tala has provided so they not only do Z they not only just focusing on zakat but they also do s and and Allah there's a Hadi in alkari where Allah subana says oh son of Adam spend and I will spend on you Subhan Allah so what have you learned the the the the M the characteristics of mut they have they are humble all right and they they are accepting and they establish Salah and they they pray Salah according to the Sunnah yeah they they don't rush their Salah they give right of every pillar and if they are men then they focus on trying and attending the JAMA and then the M they spend in the way of Allah subhana wa tala through their wealth through their knowledge through their efforts through the money um you know if you have skill you have time your talents whatever you're using you are spending in the way of Allah subhanahu waala alhamdulillah so and then what do what is the next thing so these are the people they believe in what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has um revealed to Muhammad Al wasallam alhamdulillah we are that we are of those people so this is the fourth characteristic and and we believe and that was revealed to you before before you Muhammad sallallahu alhi wasallam and then and they are certain the in the Hereafter they are certain in then Allah gives us the Glad Tiding so you have how many characteristics now you have six characteristics that if you have then Allah gives you the good news that they are on the right guidance from their lord and it is those who are successful so if you want to be successful you are going to be doing all the six points mentioned above and you are going to be called and is from the word also means a means farmer meaning the someone who works hard he plows the Earth he SWS the seed he looks after the plant he gives water so a great amount of effort and then he is given a crop yeah so a is also someone who is going to put all the effort and then is going to be rewarded inshallah from Allah subhanahu waala let's move on to the next ay ay number six now one point I'd like you to write down is you see from Ayah number one to Ayah number 30 29 I beg your pardon from Ayah 1 to 29 Allah subhana T is talking about three groups of people we've just from Ayah 1 to five was about the characteristics of the Believers okay and then Allah subhana T is ay six seven Allah subhana is going to talk about the disbelievers and and Allah wraps up about them about the disbelievers in um just two ay indeed those who disbelieve it is this all the same for them whether you want them or you don't want them they will not believe and I'm going to read the translation then do this Allah subhana has sent a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and on over their vision is a veil and for them is a great punishment now is is you know some a person to whom everything is hidden so this person cfir is you know someone who it the truth is hidden from them and in two ay Allah has completed talking about them does not want to talk about them more and Allah says that their hearts have been sealed now sealed from the truth yeah their hearts have been um sealed from the truth is the commentator of the Quran he said that this Ayah means that Shan controlled them when they disobey messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasall therefore Allah subhana T sealed their hearts their hearing and their sight they could neither see the guidance nor hear nor comprehend okay so we make Dua that yaah Allah we make this Dua please write down this Dua we don't want to be of those people who are not able to see the truth okay I'm going to repeat the Dua again then we move on to the Ayah where Allah subhana is going to talk about the Hypocrites and Allah continue talking about them until ay number 29 and of the people are who say we believe in Allah and the lost day but they are not Believers so what is hypocrisy yeah they say something on the face they their actions and statements do not coincide with one another so they contradict and and remember that Bak is a and there were many Hypocrites people who posed as Muslims uh but um you know they were not Muslims at heart yeah so is someone who says Shah so on the face of it they would say the and then they are completely opposite okay so what are Allah saying they are they think they deceive Allah and they and those who believe but they deceive none but except themselves so and then they have a disease in their heart the the disease of hypocrisy is in their heart now when does this this disease become incurable so when a person has you know the they the Hypocrites they they doubted the Quran they they doubted the prophet hood and and they so what happened then Allah subhana wa T says that they are going to be given it's a big punishment and you see that um we need should be very careful that we don't follow fall into this category of people who are you know they say something and they do the opposite or they do something to um you know to hurt de to hurt or to discredit the de of Allah subhah waala I would like you to line please in Ayah number nine yeah they are deceiving Allah subhana wa tala and and the Believers and they don't know so underline and then underline Ayah number 10 that why have their hearts been why have their hearts been diseased because they used to lie okay may Allah protect us from lying because they used to say something and they used to do another thing and when it is said to them um don't make Mischief on Earth they say but we are reformers Subhan Allah and I think I will not say much because all of you are so able to relate whatever is happening in these days and you know people who call themselves as reformers and they are U actually the ones who are um you know the ones who are doing wrong to the people the next Ayah Allah subhana wa says indeed they are the ones who are they are the ones who are make Mischief but they perceive not and when it is said to them the Hypocrites believe as the people of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam the AL so what do they say they say shall We Believe As the fools have believed verily they are are the fools but they know not and when they meet those who believe they say we believe and when they are alone with their shim so when when they are with their the their Poes friends and the Hypocrites they say truly we are with you verily we are but mocking and then number 15 Allah subhana mocks at them so they were mocking people so Allah mocks at them and gives them increase in their own doing to wonder blindly and these are those these are they who have purchased error for for guidance so their commence was their Commerce sorry their trade was profitless and they were not guided so may Allah subhana wa tala not make us of those people who you know who are causing harm and looking down on people you know sometimes when you've reached a certain um place in society you start looking down on people you start looking down on people who are not dressing in the same way as you dress they don't have the the the materialistic standard that you have and as a result you start looking down and you know in dunia matters we there is one rule always look down on people and in in the matters of the dean look up so compete with people who have more knowledge than you more they know more Quran than you try and learn more and and you know try and get ahead of them but in terms of the world always look down and appreciate what you have and look at what the people are suffering from and then we go on to the next page now um Allah subhana wa tala is talking uh about people who are confused um and they don't know um what is the right uh path let me just go through the meanings with you one more time so we talked about um the people who have taken who have traded Iman for the worldly life and then so the Hypocrites they have taken deviation in exchange for guidance yeah and then gives example of a person who started a fire and when the when the fire was lit and it illuminated the surrounding area the person benefited from it so this hypocrite you know when Islam was around and you see that people were getting benefit because they were Muslim in terms of money in terms of social status they benefited from it so this person the person of you know some a fire that has been lit so this person benefited from it and felt safe then what happened the fire was suddenly extinguished therefore to there was total darkness and this person was not able to see anything or find anything further this person could not hear or speak and became so blind that he even if there was light he was not able to see this is why he cannot return to the state he was in before this happened this is the case of Hypocrites who preferred misguidance over guidance deviation over righteousness so this is an example a parable that the Hypocrites first believed and then they disbelieved just as Allah subhana wa taala says in you know in other parts of the Quran Allah removed their light yeah um and then and left them in darkness and they could not see they could not and they could not see and they became deaf and um and they could not um and they became D deaf dumb and blind so they will not return to the right path um and why is that because they do not have IM okay so the the the let me just read to you the translation ay 19 uh or like a rainstorm from the sky wherein there is dark wherein is Darkness the thunder and lightning they thrust their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning Thunderclap for fear of death but Allah subhana ever encompasses the disbelievers um the lightning almost snatches away their sight whenever it flashes for them they walk therein when darkness covers them he could have taken away their hearing their sight certainly Allah subhana ta'ala has all power over all things so you see what the lessons we've learned from this Ayah that no one can guide or help a person who does not seek help from Allah subhana tala right and the next lesson is a hypocrite can you know they can imitate others in guidance uh but you know it's not going to benefit them and they are lost why because they have they they are they are lost cause and are blocked off from guidance in every way so may Allah keep us on the on the right path and then we move on to the next Ayah Ayah number 19 uh no actually ay number 21 protect us from that so oh mankind worship your lord who created you and those who were before you so that you may become so this is the first commandment in the Quran I'd like you to underline that the first commandment in the Quran is that oh people worship Allah subhana wa tala okay so this is all General command to all okay Ayah number 22 um and Allah goes on to explain about himself who has made the Earth Allah is the one who has made the earth a resting place for you and the sky is a canopy and who sent down rain from the sky and brought forth the fruit and Provisions for you then do not set Rivals with Allah uh while you know that he alone has the right to be worshiped so this is the first Prohibition in the Quran yeah first commandment is and then this the first prohibition is don't make Rivals with Allah subh so that's something for you a side point and then Allah subhana T goes on to challenge the Arab pagans that if you're in doubt concerning the Quran that has been sent to Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam then produce a Surah like of the like thereof and call your Witnesses meaning call your supporters and helpers beside Allah if you're truthful but if you do not and you can never do it then fear Allah then fear the hell whose fuel is men and Stones prepared for the disbelievers may Allah subhana wa tala protect us from it then Allah goes on to give us the good news so and give Glad Tidings and to those who believe and do righteous deeds and that they will have Gardens in Paradise beneath which rivers flow whenever they are provided with the provisions of fruits and there from they would say this is what we have been provided from before they are given something and is G and it's given to them in likeness and they will therein be p and they will have therein purified spouses and they will abide there eternally so that is the the Highlight that you are going to do is okay meaning so that you can remember that Allah subhah waala is going this the the life of dun is not important the life of Dunya can be some people may get it some people may not but we are focusing on the eternal life and also Allah is giving glad Tiding to whom underline the word so the ones who believe and who do righteous Deeds so the condition for going to Jenna is you believe and do righteous Deeds okay so in Jenna there is not going to be any old age people are not going to have any illnesses you're not going to have the need to go to the toilet you are you no no sweating no toilet and there's no discomfort no pain and that is aik and you see that there are you know when Allah mentions the fruits in Jenna these are names we can the we our mind cannot comprehend what is in Jenna so people are going to look at the thing and they will say that this may this is the same thing in dun but it is going to be just the name that is the same but it's going to be completely different okay then we go on to ay number 26 indeed Allah subh is not shy he to present to you an example that of a mosquito or what is even smaller than that so you see that you people feel shy in expressing um about trivial matters or trivial things and Allah says that even if the mosquito is small uh you know if you look at the mosquito and the intricate nature of the mosquito um and how it draws blood if you just have to Google it uh and you see how if anyone of you have has ever been bitten by a mosquito sometimes you don't even feel and after it's it's bitten you in drawn blood then you you realize that you've been bitten so Allah subhana T says he does not feel shy talking about a trivial creature like the mosquito and those who and then those who and those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord but as for those who disbelieve they say what what did Allah intend by this meaning they criticize the object Allah sends astray many thereby and guides many thereby and he sends astray none but the defiantly disobedient now who are the disobedient the definantly disobedient are those who are not Guided by the Quran and who are they we we find the answer in a number 27 they are those who break the Covenant of Allah subhana T after Contracting it meaning they you know you you before our creation we all agreed that Allah is the r and when we came to the dunia as a part of the test that we have been made to forget it but you see signs of Allah everywhere and you just ignore to disbelieve so you're breaking the Covenant um so I number 27 there are those who break the Covenant of Allah after Contracting it and separate that which Allah has ordered to be joined and they cause corruption on Earth it is those who are The Losers so the promise of Allah what is it there's no God worthy of worship but Allah subhana wa tala right but what do you do this person they make other gods right now our Gods can also be our desires my dears it's not you know when I'm saying that do not bring into mind all the the people who are worshiping the statues but ask yourself and that you know have you got have are your priorities more your your priorities in life is it pleasing Allah subhana tala or is it pleasing the attaining the D okay and this person Allah subhana says a loser why because they cut relations they cut ties with whom Allah subhana T has asked to make ties up so they cut family relations so you know they cut off these relations and you see that our Dean is about giving the rights of Allah subhana tala and giving the rights of the creation and then Allah subhana T goes on to say how can you disbelieve in Allah again questioning the Hypocrites how can you disbelieve in Allah subhah wa taala um when you were lifeless and he brought he subhana brought you to life so you were in the mother of your in the wombs of your mother and weren't you lifeless and then Allah subhana wa T will cause you to die and then wh to whom you will be returned and then Allah goes on to explain about himself it is he who created you from uh created for you all that which is on Earth so you see everything on Earth is in service to us everything on Earth is in service to us but what are we doing we are doing you know we are doing everything to achieve you know the Earth our our targets are not focused on the Hereafter and then Allah goes to say and then Allah waala he directed himself to the sky he rose above and turned the and turned the sky into and then he made the seven heavens and he is uh the all knower of everything Allah there's another I would like you to highlight the name of Allah Allah's name is Al so Allah is the knower of everything so you know whatever we are doing um Allah subhana wa tala knows whatever situation we are in Allah subhana wa tala knows about it okay then so now we're talking about the creation of Adam alisam and the creation of mankind I had to tell you and I did not that first uh Ayah number one to 29 was about the three groups of people okay 30 to 39 is going to be about and Ayah number 40223 is going to be talking about B is and 124 to 141 is going to be talking about ibraim alisam okay let's go okay [Music] for for so now Allah subh is going to discuss the origin of mankind where did the the human beings come from how did Allah subhana honor us and Allah is going to talk to us about the enemy that is Hell B and destroying us so and when Allah when um and remember when your lord said to the angels verily I'm going to place mankind um generation after generation on Earth they say will you place therein those who will make who will make Mischief therein and shed blood while we glorify you with praises and thanks um exalted be you above and all that they associate with you and as partners and purify you he said Allah subh said I know that which you do not know um so now do the Angels know the Future No the Angels don't know the future um the Angels um before the in the inhabitants of the Dunya were before the human beings the Earth was inhabited by the Gin and they caused corruption on Earth they were lying they were killing one another and then Allah subhana T sent the angels to destroy the Gin so that is why based on that the the angel said that you know you are you are send you're going to make a creation that's going to go on Earth so they're going to cause corruption again so that's how they know they don't know the future okay and what are they saying that so we are we declare your praise oh Allah and we sanctify so what do we know that the Angels they do TP of Allah subhana wa tala so um you know so and that is something we need to take as well that we need to increase in our Subhan alhamdulillah you know they are and these for the Angels these are a nourishment they don't eat food like us so this is a source of nourishment yeah and the most beloved speech that Allah has CH chosen for his angels is Subhan yeah so I'd like you all to say Subhan this is the best speech the best speech that Allah has chosen for his servants and his angels so what is the Angel saying they're saying Ya Allah we glorify you we always praise you why would you create another creation why would you create Mankind and then Allah subhana said I know which you do not know and then Allah subhana T taught names Adam Alam the names all of them and he showed them to the angels and said inform me of the names of these if you are truthful so you see Adam alisam had Allah has taught had taught him the names of everything that came from the first day to the last day I always tell my students you know even Adam alisam would have known the name of the iPhone or the tablet or the or the iPad whatever Allah taught him all the names and then Allah subhana tala presented him and said that you know come on you tell you know you showed to the angel and said inform me of the names and look at the humbleness of the Angels they said exalted are you y we have no knowledge except that what you have taught us indeed it is you who is knowing the wise so Allah subhana T said oh Adam informed them of their names and when he informed them of their names he said did I not tell you that I know the unseen aspects of the heavens and the Earth and I know what you reveal and what you have concealed so you see um let let me go on to the translation that I'll I number 34 and when you and mentioned when we said to the angels prr before Adam so they prostrated except for El he refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers now in our Shar it is not allowed that we do sagada to anyone now the Angels were doing Saga to Adam as a mark of respect it was not a sag of okay they were obeying in obedience to Allah subhana tal they did the S all right so it is not they were not frustrating they were not praying to Adam they were following instructions so you see El has been cast out because he refused to follow a command of Allah subhah wa tala and Allah says he was arrogant I number 35 and when we said oh Adam dwell dwell you and your wife in paradise and eat from there in abundance from there you will wherever you will but do not approach this tree lest you be among the wrongdoers So Adam alisam the test has started they were told not to eat from the tree a story that you all know so now um you know Shan soan caused them to slip out of it and remove them from the condition in which they had been and Allah says go down all of you you as enemies to one another and you will have upon Earth's Place Earth a place of settlement and provision for time and this is how man came to Earth okay then look at this so you see El blatantly refusing the instruction now look at the attitude of AD then Adam received from his Lord words so Allah subhana wa tala um revealed to him certain words and and and using those words he repented to Allah subhana tala Allah subhana T pardoned him in another name of Allah and please underline that Allah subhah waala is the acceptor of repentance yeah and um and the most merciful we've talked about Alim in okay and what is the Dua do you know the Dua that am made the Dua is okay so you know if you look into just Google the duas ofar so you can include that as well okay let's move on to the next page sorry I'm just trying to hide the controls okay for um we said now Adam Alam has been given the instruction to leave Jen because of um the Disobedience and the Shan you know playing tricks with them with Adam and howah so Allah says we said go down from it all of you and when guidance comes from to you from me whoever follows my guidance there will be no fear concerning them nor will they grieve okay so who are the people a note for you to write down who are the people who are going to be uh free from the grief are the people who follow the guidance of um Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala okay so if you can underline and Ayah number 38 so if you want to be someone who is not in uh in grief then you are you should follow the guidance from Allah subhah wa taala and and I number 39 and those who disbelieve and deny our signs they will be the they will be the companions of the fire they will abide there in eternally may Allah protect us you see when Allah subhana waala addresses people as make sure that you are paying attention yeah um and and be ready to accept it do not ignore now from ay number 40 to 123 Allah is going to talk about B is Allah says oh children of isra isra now is is which is y okay yam is called the name of Y Alam is is okay so Allah is addressing them as um children of Israel and remember my favor which I had bestowed upon you and and fulfill my Covenant yeah the the the promise that you've made with me and and I and I will fulfill your Covenant meaning you have to adhere to the scripture to the Torah believe in the messenger and and Allah promised that if you do that I will grant you success in this life and the next and only be afraid of me do not fear the anyone else but only fear Allah subhah wa ta'ala and because Allah is the one who keeps you on the right path and believe in what I have sent down now is they're being told believe in the Quran um which has confirmed which is so Quran this has been already mentioned it has been already with you in the mention of the prophet and the Quran and this and this Quran confirms which which is already with you and be not the first to disbelieve in it and do not exchange my signs for a small price and fear only me you see Subhan Allah people are making religion a trade and and this is what the trait of bani is was they were trading they were giving up for Dunya benefits they were giving up their religion I number 42 Allah says do not mix the truth with the falsehood and conceal the truth while you know Subhan Allah you see that you know are the question is we ask ourselves are we doing this why is there so much mention of B is because there is Hadith I'm paraphrasing that people of this umah will start having the habits of the people of bani is they will start doing they will start copying the the yeh and the nas they'll start copying the Jews and the Christians so we are going to take heed from that and we are going to try and not do what they were doing so Allah in ay number 43 says establish Salah so telling them establish Salah give zakah and bow with those who Bow Down In Worship in obedience so participate in all the all the good do you do you order righteousness to the people and forget yourselves while you recite the scripture so these are people who are they tell others about doing good but their own actions um are are otherwise I will you not reason you know you know you need to pay we need the the take home for us is we need to pay attention on our actions as well does my knowledge match with with my action and then Allah subh says it's not going to be easy and then seek help through through prayer and patience through patience and prayer you know it's the path of Allah is going to be a tough one and follow the the the the path of Allah subhana tala with patience and Salah and in Salah when you're standing are you thinking of anything else other than Allah subhah wa ta'ala ask yourself this so we need to be having for complete focus in in the Salah and Allah subhana says indeed it is difficult except for for the humbly the on who are humble and submissive and a number 46 and there there are those who are certain that they will meet their lord and that they will return to him so you see that when you are praying are you certain that you know this prayer is going to protect me from from all the evils I are you certain that Allah subhana tala is facing you check your heart every time you're praying and then Allah goes on to say oh children of Israel remember my favor that I bestowed upon you and I I have preferred you over the worlds and this is what these people talk about but they are not children of Israel anyway um so Allah preferred them but they did not follow the instructions hence they have been they're called called Allah has they've earned the wrath of Allah are the Christians and then Allah subhana T says fear the day when no soul will suffice for another soul and nor will intercession be accepted nor will con compensation be taken nor will they be aided Subhan Allah so in dun they are getting away with everything they you know they're paying backhand money and they're getting because they're using their power and they're getting away with everything but Allah gives a Stern warning that you know on that day nothing of that sort is going to be accepted for and recall when we saved your forefathers from the people of who Afflicted you with the worst torment slaughtering your newborn sons and keeping your females alive and in that there was a trial from Allah subhana tala and recall when we parted the sea for you and saved you and drowned the people of while you were looking at it all so it all happened in front of your eyes and then recall when we made an appointment with mam for 40 nights but you took for worship a cough after him while you were wrongdoers so you see these people B is it will tell you about their mindset and look at how they were they've seen all the signs of Allah in front of them and as soon as M Alam goes for 40 days to receive the Torah what H what do they do they make a cough made of you know a golden cough then Allah says and we forgave you for that despite your great wrongdoing we forgive you so perhaps you may be grateful yeah so what do we take from this when Allah gives us a chance despite our errors despite our sins we must first learn from our mistakes and secondly be grateful to Allah subhana tala for the fact that he's letting us live on he's giving us the opportunity to repent though we have been very very disobedient to Allah ay number 53 and recall when we gave MSA the scripture the Torah and the and Criterion that perhaps you would be guided okay and recall when mam said to his people oh people indeed you have wronged yourselves by taking the car for worship so repent to the Creator and kill yourselves meaning what kill the desires okay um that is best for you in the sight of the Creator and then he accepted your repentance indeed he's accepting of repentance the merciful okay so for certain sins experation also has to be be given like here the you know the punishment has also been taken and recall when you said oh mus we will never be leave until you we see Allah outright so a th a thunderbolt took you while you were looking on and then we revived you after after your death perhaps you would be grateful so you see um M Alam he returned from the the 140 nights that he had been to with Allah subhana wa tala on the mount um of T and M Alam after that he came and then he took 70 people to the Mount and they got there and they said you know they started demanding to see Allah subhana wa tala so as a result a lightning fell and they all died M Alam prayed to Allah because he said y I'm going to go back and these people are going to accuse me that you know all these people have been killed so Allah subh brought them back to life um and um when B Israel eventually they crossed sea when they left Egypt Fon was drowned yeah and they entered into an open desert so a number 57 Allah says when you open when you were in the desert in the open desert we shaded you with clouds and sent down to you is man from the heavens the food was sent from the heavens and was told so these people they would get meal twice a day from the Heavens they were not asked to cook right eat from the good things with which we have provided you and they wronged us not but they were only wrongdoing themselves and and still you see what they were they did despite receiving all the the blessings they did not change may Allah not make us of those people for and recall I number 58 when when we said uh enter the city and eat from it wherever you will in ease and abundance and enter the gate bowing down humbly and say so you see I want you to imagine the scene Allah subh has saved them from they went into an open desert okay and and then they have been sent clouds and they've been sent food and then they've been asked to you know enter the city and say now it what is the meaning of it means to say Ya Allah forgive us okay relieve us of our burdens right so they they were told that why so that we will forgive your sins and then we'll increase you in goodness but you know what did they do but those who wrong change the words to a statement other than which had been said to them so they change to and what does mean it means oh Allah give us weat so it was like they were mocking and Subhan Allah you will see people here in power who are doing that so Allah subhana T sent down upon those wrong wrong those who wronged the punishment from the sky because they were defiantly disobedient I number 60 and we call when musam prayed for water for his people so we said strike with your staff the stone and therefore gush from it 12 Springs and every people knew its withering its Watering Place eat and drink from the provision of Allah and do not commit abuse on Earth spreading corruption and recall when you said oh Musa we could not endure one kind of food Subhan Allah and mam said would you exchange what is better for what is less go into any settlement indeed you will have what you have asked for and they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allah upon them and that is that was because repeatedly they disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets without right and this was because they disobey did disobeyed and were habitually transgressing you see food was being provided for them and they said no we want to grow our own crops so mus Alam was really angry with these people and take home for this is are you un grateful for for the blessings that you have you need to ask yourself are you ungrateful for your blessings or you are grateful so you know all the time when you're reading The Story of B is you're going to keep asking yourself the question um have I got one of these characteristics have I been blessed with all these things and yet I am ungrateful because as you can see that ingratitude is you know in capital letters in their lives all right let's move on ay number 62 for so indeed those people who believe and those are from the Jews or Christians or the Sabian those among them whoever among them believed in Allah in the last day and also did righteous Deeds so again Iman with righteous Deeds right um for them they will have their reward with their lord and no fear will be there will will there be concerning them nor will they grief and this is before Islam okay this is before Islam now after Islam you have to accept the religion of Islam right so the children the the people of B Israel they thought that since they are the children of prophets they would attain salvation and Allah subhana T is clearly setting a criteria it's not your bloodline that will cause you to enter Jenna okay it is your faith in Allah subhana wa tala it is your Deeds it is your IM and your Your Righteous deeds and if you have that if you if you have you believe in Allah subhana and you have righteous deeds and you will have no fear and no grief will overtake you and then ay number 63 and when we took you your when we took your Covenant or children of Israel to abide by the Torah and we raised over you a mountain saying take what we have given you with determination and remember what is in that perhaps you may be righteous subh Allah look the these people were so disobedient that Allah subhana wa tala took the mountain on top of them and said I'm going to throw this mountain on you if you don't believe look and then they turned away after that so they believed at that moment but they turned away ay number 64 and if it was not for the favor of Allah upon you and his Mercy you would have been among the losers ay 65 and you have already know you and you had already known about those who transgress among you concerning the Sabbath so now you know the Sabbath the seventh day um those among the ban Isel who transgressed on the Saturday who broke you know Allah subh T told them that you should not be you know fishing on on this on the Saturday so they broke that um Covenant uh through trickery and deceit how so you know they were told not to fish on the Saturday so and as a result what did Allah subh do as a test Allah subhana T would send lots and lots of fishes on Saturday to to see are they going to persevere so what they did is they put their Nets on Friday and they took them out on Sunday and they were told not to work on Saturday so they said we're not working on Saturday but they got the fish on they got the fish on Saturday so many people you know we need to think about as well do we play around with Allah subhana T's commands and we we take and choose how it suits our own desires so who are we deceiving them themselves because Allah subhana tala says we said to them become Apes so they became they turned into Apes despised and I number six and it was and we made it a detering punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded them and a lesson to fear Allah to and a lesson for those who fear Allah so you see and but a point to notice that it does not mean that we have we've come from apes these people were turned into Apes because they did the wrong thing and people knew so their faces would have would change into into AP and they died shortly after so they did not you know um live a longer life or they reproduced nothing of that sort they were punished and that was a Allah says this is a deterrent punishment a number 67 and when and recall when mam said to his people indeed Allah commands you to slaughter a cow and they said are you are you mocking us are you ridiculing us and Musa said I seek I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant so uh only an ignorant person mocks others so this is a note for you as well write down that um an ignorant a person mocks others and why is why have they been asked to um why have they been asked to slaughter a cow because remember they started worshiping the cow all right so so they were told to destroy this love that they had in their hearts by slaughtering the cow so what did they say ay number 68 they said call upon your lord to make us visible what it is M said Allah says it is a cow which is neither old nor virgin but median that between the two so do what you are commanded ay 69 he then said call upon your lord they said sorry call upon your lord to show us what is her color he says it is a yellow color bright in color pleasing to The Observers so they have started asking too many questions okay and this is one thing that we learn is in our religion don't ask too many questions too many questions only you're going to put yourself and your your own religion making it more and more difficult for yourself let's go on to a with your with with you and your commands I 72 and recall when when a man that you had killed and uh U and disputed over it and but Allah was to bring out that which you were concealing so we said strike the the slain man with the part of it and th Allah brings to death brings the death to life and he shows you the signs that you might reason so this person was killed unlawfully so with the the part of the cow they killed the slaughter of the cow and as a miracle Allah wanted to show them that how Allah brings the dead to life so the man was killed and no one was they were not able to find out the killer so Allah then ordered that you know piece of the cow uh you know place over it um the over the dead man and this dead man will come back to life and then he he came back to life and he told about his killer so um you know um it tells this Ayah is telling us that how Allah subhana has the power to bring the dead to life and then Allah number 74 says then your hearts became hardened after that so hard that they became like stone or even harder why harder than the stones why because Allah subhana T says for indeed there are stones from which rivers burst forth yeah these are stones that you know in they they start getting holes in in in when they're in the Rocky terrain and water start starts gushing out of them and there are some that of them that they split open when the water comes out don't we see that the Rocks crack and then there are some of them that fall down from the fear of Allah and Allah is not unaware of what you do you see Allah subhana tala is um giving the example of the rocks and how many of you of us have seen the Rocks fall off little do we know that they are falling from the fear of Allah subhana wa tala so when B disobeyed over and over again and they presented excuses and they argued with the messenger what happened their hearts be their hearts became hard so please my dear the lesson for you do not argue a lot in the dean yeah that so much so that Allah says that their hearts became harder than the Rocks okay so there are different types of Hearts just like there are different types of rocks rocks okay and inshallah we will discuss about the types of uh uh of the the heart of people inah later and then Ayah number 75 Allah subhana T says those of th then you do covet or do you hope or Believers that you that they would believe that you you know Allah is asking that do you think that these people are going to believe they're not going to you know you think that they are going to believe you but they not while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it so these people are those who used to change the book of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and when they meet those who believe they say we believed and when they are alone with one another do you talk about them they they they say do you talk to them about Allah what Allah has revealed to you so they can Believers and I'm not going to say much you know Subhan Allah so many will cross in front of of your eyes with whatever is happening to our brothers and sisters and you will know so many people may Allah subhana T not make us of those Hypocrites a mean let's move on for and um do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they they declare and among them are the unlettered ones meaning the people who don't know um unlettered meaning illiterate and they do not and illiterate in the ter in terms of the scripture and they do not know the scripture except in wishful thinking and they are only assuming okay and the so woe to those who write the scripture with their own hands and they say this is from Allah in order to exchange it for a small price woe to them for what is in their hand what their hands have written and woe to them for what they have earned and you see these people they say oh this is in the Torah this has been said in the Torah so they changed the Torah these people are taking interest anyway and what did they say they Chang the dean of Allah and they said ay number 80 they say that the they say never will the fire touch us except for a few days okay um and Allah says so you have taken a covenant with Allah for Allah will never break his Covenant or do you say about Allah that which you do not know so I 81 yes whoever earns evil and has his and has his his sin has and I beg you pardon and his sin has encompassed him and then they they are the companions of the fire and they will abide there in eternally eternally so those who believed and do righteous Deeds they are the companions of Jenna and they will abide there in eternally and and recall when we took the Covenant from the children of Israel do not worship Allah so this is important this while you were witnessing Subhan Allah look it is in their it was in their scripture and look what are they doing to people and I 85 and then they you are those the same ones who are killing one another and evicting a party of your people people from their homes cooperating against them in sin and aggression and if if they come to you as captives you Ransom them although their eviction was forbidden for you so do you believe in a part of scripture and you disbelieve in the part and then what is a recompense for those who do that amongst you and is it it is nothing except disgrace in this worldly life and on the day of Resurrection you will be sent back to the severest punishment and Allah is not unaware of what you do those I 86 those who are the ones who have bought the life of this world in exchange of the Hereafter so the punishment will not be lightened for them and nor will they be aided you see Subhan Allah we need to ask ourselves the question are we are we of those people who are for the worldly gains we are exchanging our our religion are we just looking for the for the shortterm benefits and we are trading our then we we should know and even for these people it consoles my heart to know that look Allah says that such type of people who go against and transgress and oppress people they will have a humiliation in this dun and in the they're going to be returned to a severe punishment Ayah number 87 Allah subh T says and we certainly did give MSA and the Torah and followed him up after him with Messengers and we gave Isa the son of Mariam clear proofs yeah so Isa Alam was also a messenger sent to the bani Isel and we supported him with the pure spirit with jiel and it is not that every time a messenger came to you oh children of Israel with what your souls did not desire you were arrogant and and what did they used to say then a party of Messengers you denied and and another party you killed so these people have been killing Messengers he they totally disowned him Ayah number 90 how wretched is that for for for which they sold themselves that they would disbelieve in what Allah has revealed through their out and through um outrage that Allah would send down his favor upon whom he wills and uh from among his servants I 91 and when it is said to them believe in Allah in what Allah has revealed they say we believe only in what has given you with determination and listen and they said indeed we hear and disobey and their hearts absorb the worship of C meaning they they got they because of their disbelief they did not want to believe in Allah subhana tala but they have they had they wanted to worship the cow so Allah says say how wretched is that which your faith enjoins you upon if you should be Believers meaning you through their magic except with the permission of Allah so this is something that you need to underline that even the magician they cannot do anything everything happens with the permission of Allah subhana wa tala so if if you're going through a difficult time where someone where you feel that someone has done magic sorcery on you then understand that it is your test if you are patient Allah something that Allah has already written for you and if all the nations gather together to harm you they could not harm you with anything except with what Allah has already written for you yeah so we take we take you know our hearts are consoled by this that Allah subhana wa ta'ala everything happens with the will of Allah subhana T and we if we have been if we are going through a difficult time then that is a test for us I8 103 and if they had believed and feared Allah then their reward from then their reward from Allah would have been far better only if they knew ay 104 and and oh you who have believed say not to the messenger of Allah don't say means please wait yeah or please repeat yourself or hold on or slow down yeah um and the the Jews they would make um when they heard the pr the the the Muslims say they would start making fun of this word yeah and and they would they would change this word to which means Shepherd Our Shepherd so Allah subhana ask the Believers don't use disbelievers is a painful punishment and then a 105 and neither of those who believe neither of those who disbelieve from the people of the scripture nor the mush mush wish that any good would would
