  • Verbal signal: "Foul"

• Procedure:
  • Remove mask
  • Move several steps down the line
  • Straddle the fair-foul line between feet
  • Determine if the ball is fair or foul

Making a Fair Ball Call

• Right Field Line:
  • No verbalization
  • Physical point to indicate the ball is fair
• Left Field Line:
  • Similar to right field line
  • No verbalization, just a physical point to indicate fair territory
