they say I'm the best there is but I sure as hell don't feel that way not now now that I'm the hunted now that I'm the prey Wolverine was slowly moving through the forest clinging to life while his body was trying to keep up with the severity of his injuries spilling blood everywhere for his attacker to follow rocks and splintered wood pierced his skin leaving deep cuts and plasma Burns covered his entire body he finally reached the end of the forest but there was nothing there no end in sight to his Dreadful hunt down below there is a freezing River but behind him there is something far more chilling a shape that was barely visible slowly Powers down his cloaking device in these final moments of the hunt he wants to be seen he wants us to face each other to recognize each other as predator and prey when he rips out my [Music] spine when he was younger Logan moved to Alaska to live a peaceful life the freezing temperatures and harsh conditions didn't bother him at all he hunted beavers and sold their skins to make a living this life suited him fine the dangerous wildlife never worried him it was the people who concerned him this was the edge of the map and that's where folks go to escape trouble and make more they always wanted something money or land sex or power and they'd kill to get it but Logan wasn't the only hunter in this forgotten land Predators came here often to hunt mostly animals the bigger the better but sometimes a predator would look for a different kind of prey one that could defend itself a big storm was approaching and Logan thought it would be a good idea to go into scar a small nearby town a town he sometimes visited for supplies and the occasional drink this one's on me someone offered to pay for Logan drink the next one too the man's name was Tucker and he wanted to talk to Wolverine but he was interrupted by three men where do you keep all your Treasures little man there are some of us who want to know trouble always had a way of finding me and at one point or another I had broken the bones of just about every man in scar that was remarkable you're exactly who I need someone had kidnapped Tucker's son and was holding him for ransom he begged Logan to help him rescue his son and Logan agreed they headed towards a small cabin in the woods where the bandits kept his son prisoner but some something spooked the horses and they ran away they were met with a gruesome sight the forest was filled with skinless bodies hanging from the trees animals and humans alike they eventually reached the cabin and Logan believing the bandits were responsible for the massacre stormed inside overwhelmed with anger and rage he slaughtered everyone where is he where's the boy well I suppose they're all my boys in a Way Tucker betrayed Logan and shot him in the back he hired these men to rob a train but they double crossed him and ran away with the money thinking Logan is dead Tucker took the money and wanted to leave but the Predator killed him and entered the cabin Wolverine recovered from the shot got up and attacked him using his claws to injure the Beast whatever you are I'm going to carve the ugly off you but the Predator used his spear to stab Logan in the abdomen forcing him to retreat unlike Wolverine his body doesn't heal instead he had to use alien medicine to stop the bleeding he chased after Logan using his weapons to slow him down and eventually caught up to him come and get it you ugly son of a [ __ ] that's when a grizzly bear jumped from inside the cave and attacked the Predator it knocked him down and dragged him inside the cave by the feet Logan smiled and grabbed one of his weapons as a trophy I thought that was the end there was always some new danger waiting for me but what I didn't realize not until many years later was that this was just the beginning I don't know how long I've been hanging from this Cliff maybe 10 minutes maybe an hour Wolverine's healing Factor started to kick in slowly healing his body but the hunter that came from the Stars was still out there eventually he starts climbing back up thinking the Predator went to look for him somewhere else but this was a mistake three drones attacked him out of nowhere forcing Logan to jump from the cliff into the freezing River below my lungs filled with cold black water and my vision goes red and for a moment I lose track of where and when I am he was trapped underwater with the weight of a big rock on top of his body but to make things worse the Predator actually jumped in the river after him Logan gathered what was left of his strength and shattered the giant rock with his adamantium claws barely escaping before the Predator found him somewhere in South America a former General was storing weapons and rallying support in preparations for a coup team X was sent here to make sure that never happens but they weren't prepared for what they were about to find the base looked abandoned and everyone was already dead and skinned alive the only things left alive were five Predator Hunters who ambushed them schol was the first to die and now it was four versus five predators saber-tooth began shooting blindly into the jungle but the Predators activated their cloaks and disappeared are you dead you [ __ ] or are you hiding Sabertooth was stabbed from behind by one of the Predators but he used the spear to take the alien down with him what are they Logan I don't know the Predators killed Jackson next grabbing her while they were running and slicing her head right off another Predator tried to surprise Wolverine from the back but Maverick reacted fast and shot him in the head Logan picked up his teammate and ran inside the temple while the remaining Predators killed off the injur one the temple was filled with weapons and explosives and Wolverine was shocked to find the general and his men still alive they agreed not to kill each other and to form an alliance against the Predators it was the only way they could survive this however once the Predators stormed the place nothing could stop them they killed and sliced everyone to pieces one by one there would be no negotiation that day no surrender we are animals to them but the general had prepared in advance he had placed explosives everywhere while wolf and what's left of his team escaped through a back door they detonated the bombs destroying the temple and killing all the hunters except one who survived many years later the same Predator found the weapon x facility in Canada and made his way inside looking for Logan nothing could come between him and his prize not even 100 soldiers or giant Vault doors one way or another he would find Weapon X Logan was infused with Adam antheum now lying on a table unconscious they had wiped his memory and trained him to be the perfect killing machine the yaa had found me at my most dangerous this hunt began for simple reasons then things grew more complicated as he was driven by pride and revenge the Predator was forced to inject Wolverine with a special serum that liquefied his head leaving nothing but a metal frame that's when he realized that Logan was the ultimate trophy he grabbed Weapon X and took him to his spaceship placing him next to other trophies airplanes tried to prevent the Predator from leaving the planet with Logan but nothing could slow him down Wolverine regained Consciousness filled with rage in Berserker mode acting more on Instinct than anything else he managed to slash the spaceship with his claws carving a hole big enough for him to jump out dropping from space like a metal Fireball and crashing in the freezing mountains below there wasn't much left of Logan after falling from the sky but his metal skeleton was intact and as always he would recover in his quest to become a better Warrior Wolverine traveled to Japan I've never known peace but in Japan I got right up to the edge of it I've never felt as much of a connection between my mind body and the Earth as when I studied under the madman swordsmith muramasa muramasa was known as the greatest swordsmith in the world his method was based on constant refinement and Perfection he believed that one day I would become his strongest sword but that day was a long way off you're good Wolverine but you're not the best there is not until you can beat this old man that's only because you won't let me use my claws when the day comes you can best me with a sword alone you'll be able to fight 10 men or 100 men what's wrong I had changed changed several times over since the time we first met and the yaa had adapted as well the Predator found him even here but muramasa refused to help Logan this is not my enemy he wanted Logan to fight his battles alone perfecting his Warrior skills becoming better each time Logan finally popped his claws but the Predator activated his cloaking and disappeared leaving the two Warriors to fight an Army of Ninjas belonging to the hand Wolverine was now an X-Men always Vigilant and ready for his next attack from the Predator I try not to get close to anybody I try not to call any place home for too long because death always finds me the x- Manion was under attack but luckily Logan managed to save Professor Xavier just in time he rushed to the top floor to see if anyone else was injured anybody up here kitty are you okay Logan look out the Predator electrocuted Wolverine but Nightcrawler managed to teleport both of them away right before he could finish the job Wolverine refused to let anyone help him he didn't want anyone to get hurt because of him but Logan you don't have to do this alone I don't want your help Nightcrawler this just proves what I always knew I shouldn't be here the yaa took Rogue prisoner and Wolverine was forced to surrender they both went outside heading towards the forest but something wasn't right are you sure you got the right guy Wolverine shouted as he attacked the Predator from behind Moonstar had disguised herself as Wolverine the yaa wasn't fighting just Logan anymore he was fighting the entire X-Men he managed to cloak himself and scramble back to the ship but I couldn't let something like that happen again it all started after the attack on the X Manion Wolverine was determined to end this one way or another I Stak the helmet in the meadow like a bait station next to a deer stand I waited a week and then he came he would never stop coming until my head was his of course he knew it was an ambush I was counting on that Wolverine wanted the Predator to feel confident to get a taste for his blood enough to enjoy the hunt and get cocky thinking he'd already won but the yaa came prepared and used his energy Blaster to carve a big hole in Wolverine's arm almost blowing it right off Wolverine managed to escape the freezing River after he destroyed the rock that crushed him but the Predator was never far behind he knew the yaa used heat vision to track his movement and used the mud from the river to cloak himself he ambushed the Predator from behind carving his adamantium claws into his back causing massive damage I let him make a sheath of me he would end this eye to eye tasting the blood in each other's breath for a fatal moment we were one and the same I thought that was the end but he refused to die on my terms I didn't recognize the numbers but I knew a countdown when I saw one he was going to get that trophy even if he claimed it in his grave the Predator activated his self-destruct device causing a massive explosion destroying half of the forest in the process it took Wolverine many days to recover from the explosion but his body survived while the Predator had finally been killed there was an emptiness inside me it took me a while to realize where it came from I missed having him out there at least he left me a dangerous trophy I'll remember its Keen Edge every day of my damned life
