in this video I'll show you seven Amazon KDP niches that people often ignore but it's secretly very profitable i feel like a lot of people go into the same generic niches so the goal of this video is to give you more ideas on the different types of books you can publish so if you're new to the channel my name is Sean and I've been doing KDP for a very very long time at this point I've helped over 1,800 members in my private community make money with Amazon KDP so if you want no BS publishing advice from someone who's actually doing it then make sure to subscribe so with that being said these are the seven ignored but secretly profitable KDP niches starting with niche number one so we have life skills for teens these are some examples we have life skills every 13year-old should know essential book for teen boys and girls to unlock their secret superpowers to be successful healthy and happy this book is doing $41 every single day now I have this tool called Book Beam that tells me the bestsellers rank of the book but also how much the book is making if you guys want to check it out the link is in the description but this one book just from the paperback version is doing $1,200 a month and this is the type of book that you can create a series and a bunch of books which is exactly this author is doing right we have life skills for 6 years old 7 years old 80 years old 9 years old 10 years old and it just keeps going for every age now you can even niche down from the generic broad life skills niche into something more specific like this one is 101 things every young athletes should know right so this is niching down to the you know sports young athletes niche but it is still life skills for teens so this one over here is at 7,500 BSR which means it's doing between $86 to $100 every single day in royalties so that's about $3,000 a month which is pretty damn good now if you look inside of here the content of the book is very very simple it's just 101 very very short chapters on different life skills for teens right so as an example if you go down to the first one over here setting goals and then it's just a very short chapter of setting goals you know like what you should know about it and this is written in a friendly conversational tone because you're talking to teens but this is something that is super easy to just generate with AI to be completely honest and then you obviously want to rewrite it but you know in terms of creating these books super easy and going back to the first book it's the same structure basically at the beginning of the chapter there's a simple image that represents the chapter and then it's just text after so very easy type content to create and also very profitable all right niche number two is the pets niche the pet niche is very profitable people love their pets obviously and people are willing to spend a lot of money to improve their lives let me show you some examples so we have puppy training in 10 minutes a day so this is a very standard puppy training book right doing $37 a day around $1,000 a month now the good thing about this is this is a high content book so you can actually sell it in multiple different formats this is just from the paperback right doing ing thousands a month so if you count the ebook audiobook hard cover it's doing a lot more now you don't necessarily have to just go into dog training right you can do other pet niches like this one homemade dog treats cookbook now this book is doing around $29 a day from the paperback and once again they have the ebook hard cover they can easily make an audiobook version which they aren't yet but they should be doing that soon and there are actually other books in this homemade dog treats uh cookbook or dog recipes that are doing more than this so it's a profitable niche as well and this is another example of the pet niche right so this is Wait for me in the rainbow how to deal with the loss of your pet so basically you know a guide on it's still a non-fiction how-to guide right on how to get over the grief of losing a pet and this book over here is doing really well so it's uh doing hundreds of dollars a day and you know this is a serious problem that people struggle with obviously if you do go into this niche you want to make sure that the book is high quality it has good information people actually benefit from it so you can write the book yourself if you know how to you can definitely use AI as long as you use it correctly right make sure that the content is good or if you just want to hire a professional to write this book for you then you can always hire a ghostriter so in terms of how you do that I do have this step-by-step tutorial on the best ghostwriting company how you can get started so I'll just leave a link to this video in the description below is number three is offrid living so more and more people are getting interested in off-grid living and related topics like homesteading so as an example we have Offgrid Survival Projects Bible so this book is doing $21 a day just from the paperback version it's a new release book and it only has 11 reviews so obviously you know that number will probably go up over time and there's a lot of variations to these kind of books so we have the complete Amish survival manual so it's like a off-grid living kind of niche but you know niching down to Amish right so this book is doing hundreds of dollars a day so around 300 to $379 which is a really good place to be at now what I hate seeing in the KDP space is a lot of people do this 50 books in one 70 books in one making it seem like it's a crazy you know huge bundle and yet it only has 272 pages like the length of basically one book right so essentially they're lying about 50 books in one like one book for this is literally just a fivepage chapter or something like that and they're counting it as a book which I think is pretty scammy so if you're doing this definitely don't do it i hate seeing this but the fact of the matter is it works you know these books are making money although I do think if you do this you're probably going to get banned very soon or honestly hopefully you do right because you know this is 100% full-on misleading customers and you know how Amazon is you know very strict in many many things but more than anything they hate it when you mislead customers like that's like the number one reason for you to get banned right and lose your account and this is like currently the number one way people are misleading customers saying "Oh you get 50 books in one but it's actually just one book right?" with super tiny chapters and somehow it's 50 books so don't do the actual strategy of this book but what I'm trying to say is Amish survival manual or Amish survival niche profitable and there's also this one the preers survival mastery bible i hate the title bible and I hate the title like something something mastery i think it sucks but doomsday prepping is a good niche and just with eight reviews this book is doing $40 a day all right niche number four is language learning so language learning is one of those niches that it feels like there's a lot of competition but for some reason a lot of people who go into it make a lot of money so the first example we have is learn Italian fast for adult beginners so this is a Italian language learning book doing $100 a day and obviously you can do Spanish Japanese Korean you know many different languages but also not a lot of people think about this but you can actually do sign languages too right so we got American Sign Language for beginners five books in one and this book is doing a hundred to $200 a day which I would say is very good now one thing you got to keep in mind when you are creating a book on these kind of topic is that creating a highquality book cover that is actually attractive is essential so these book covers that they have is really really high quality and if you know how to create this yourself definitely that's amazing but if you don't know how to do that then you should be outsourcing and hiring a professional which Fiverr is a great place to find people like that as an example this gig right here will create a book cover for $35 she specializes in business non-fiction self-help book covers and her book covers are pretty good this is another example this gig will do it for $70 but if you guys want to test out both of these gigs I'll leave a link in the description below all right niche number five is history books so history is one of those things where you know obviously there's a huge audience huge fan base people who love history right different kind of histories so there are a lot of books that you can create on this like this is a World War II trivia book right so specifically World War II and it's a trivia book super easy to create $43 a day we have this one The Ultimate History Buff Challenge so not niching down to World War II but more so for you know the entire history this book is doing 96 to $134 a day this book is niching down specifically to American history so this is 1,000 American history facts and 101 true tales and this is doing a little less $23 to $28 it's just this book there are other American history books that are doing a lot better but uh this is an example so you can actually create just a normal non-fiction book you know going over the history or you can present that in a trivia or a quiz format like some of the examples that I showed you you can obviously do history of other countries you know Egyptian histories ancient histories there's so many niches to go into niche number six is gag gifts so I actually really like this niche personally just because it's super fun to create and it sells really well during the holiday season because you know gag gifts are something that people buy as a joke to their friends or family right but outside of Q4 it often does decently as well now these are the examples how to know if your cat is trying to introduce communism in your house and there's a lot of these like cat themed uh gag gift type of book um how to know if your cat is trying to kill you or something there's a lot of that as well once again it's not doing the best outside of Q4 but I have Book Beam's historical sales tool so basically I can see the historical sales of this book uh and you can see that right around quarter 4 right it went all the way down to around 3,000 BSR which this book was doing really really well like thousands of dollars you know just from Q4 so that's what I mean is that it does really well during Q4 but some books do well outside of that so this is disappointing affirmations unfollow your dreams hilarious right so this is a sarcastic satirical twist uh to the positive affirmation niche obviously and this one's doing you know hundreds of dollars every single day and these kind of books super easy to make right just a background image and a sentence that is a kind of a negative affirmation I guess or disappointing affirmation which AI nowadays can do a great job creating you know giving you ideas for this you can also create journals in this twist so this is a end of life planner but it has a funny quote which is sorry it's your problem now because I'm dead right so it's kind of a utility book but also acts as a gag gift and this book is doing 10 bucks a day nothing crazy now but once again it does you know a lot more during Q4 now if you need help creating these journal books you can actually just hire someone to create the entire book for you not just a book cover but also the interior as an example this gig on Fiverr will create an entire no content book for you for 45 bucks so if you have a funny idea of just a blank page journal right you can actually use this gig if you want more of a low content book then it's $75 but in my opinion having everything completely done for you and having a book that you can publish for 75 bucks is a pretty good deal once again I'll leave a link in the description if you guys want to check it out all right niche number seven is self-help books so this might not be a secret niche a lot of people I'm sure going into self-help books but I just wanted to share it because self-help is one of those niches that is tried and tested people will always want to improve themselves learn new things and for that reason this niche is one of the most evergreen niche out there here are some examples this is a book on how to stop overthinking right and this book is doing $517 to $845 just from the paperback version uh not counting the Kindle audiobook this book is crushing it making $1,000 or more every single day this is a book on decluttering keep the memories lose the stuff decluttering i use it as an example all the time but it is a profitable niche right and this is a audiobook version doing $100 a day obviously they have different formats this is a book on self-discipline and this book is crushing it with over $1,000 every single day so hopefully this video gave you more ideas on different niches that you guys can go into but if you need
