Ingenious ELT Test Overview

Test Format

  • The test consists of several parts, including listening and responding to various types of questions.
  • Participants will hear different voices, including teachers and students.
  • Specific directions for each part of the test are provided.

Part One: Follow Classroom Directions (Questions 1-4)

  • Participants will listen to a teacher provide three different directions related to a picture and must choose the correct one.
  • Sample Directions:
    • A: Discuss in your group and write down the answer on the handout.
    • B: Don’t copy your friend's assignment.
    • C: Do the quiz individually and submit by 3 p.m.

Part Four: Listen and Respond to Academic Lectures (Questions 18-24)

  • Participants will hear a teacher discussing key topics and answer related questions.
