Strategies for Online Income Growth

If you want to make money online, stop using affiliate links, banner ads, AdSense, Ezoic, ClickBank links, or any of the other stuff the gurus are saying makes big money. Why? Because I tried it, and the best I could do was a couple of cents per visitor.

But today, I'm going to show you how this one thing made me over a million dollars online. And it all has to do with what I believe is the biggest opportunity to make money online. Yep, that's right. There's this little gap in the marketplace that very few people are paying attention to that can put tons of money in your pocket. And I actually learned this by accident about 20 years ago.

20 years ago, I was running traffic to my websites, my blogs, videos, and all the content I was putting out. And some of those blog posts and webpages, even though they were simple and only took like an hour to set up, generated... hundreds of millions of impressions and millions of visitors to my websites.

Only, I wasn't making that much money. You see, I thought if I generated millions of people to my websites, well, I could click my heels up and retire. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Maybe you're in the same boat. You've gotten a couple of people to a website, a Facebook post, a video, or some kind of content online, and you got nothing to show for it. Or maybe you made like a dollar or 60 cents or some paltry amount of money that nobody even cares about.

And you wonder why. So in today's video, we're going to talk about something very important. We're going to talk about websites that get millions of visitors and make very little money. And on the other hand, I'm going to talk about simple little web pages that are super easy to make that get maybe a thousand visitors and generate life changing income. And it all has to do.

with one little secret. Oh yeah, and this little drop down box. So if you're excited to learn about what I believe is the biggest, hugest money making opportunity of our lifetime right now, smash the like button. Let's dive into the computer.

I'm going to show you how this whole thing works and I'm actually going to set it up live on a simple blog post that I made on a video a couple of months ago that is now generating right around 2000 visitors a month. So yeah, We're going to use an example that anyone can copy because let's face it, the internet's big and getting 2,000 visitors is not that hard to do. So pay close attention because what you're about to learn can and will change the way you make money online. Come on, let's get started.

All right, so let's get to it and talk about what this $1 million secret is. Actually, I've used several variations of these lots of places online and they work every single time. Like I said, this is one of the biggest opportunities online.

And when we look at this, we're going to show you an actual real world example showing this blog post here. As you can see, it's got some people on the blog post right now. It's getting a couple thousand visitors a month and it's very, very specific. Now, this blog post is one that I fixed up a couple months ago. You could see this video from two months ago where I'm actually fixing up the blog post.

And since then... the rankings have literally skyrocketed and now that i'm getting traffic i want to start making more money with that traffic so that is exactly what this training is about and when we look at this we need to take a look at all the different money making methods out there affiliate marketing drop shipping faceless youtube channels blogging software as a service ecom stores influencer marketing amazon fba and more and all of these money making methods have one thing in common. And in that one thing is your big chance to make money online. This is known as UMT or under monetized content.

What does this mean? This simply means that the majority of the content online today is under monetized, meaning they can make more money with that content than they're currently making with just a few small tweaks. And if you learn what I'm going to teach you in this video. Well, then you'll be able to take virtually any content online and make more money with it or even help other people make more money without even having to get your own traffic. It's actually super simple.

Now, you might be looking at this and saying, well, Marcus, what about something like a Zoic? And you see websites like this one here with tons and tons of different ads from a Zoic and AdSense and sites like this with the same thing where there's literally ads everywhere. Wouldn't this be considered? over-monetized.

And while it does have a bunch of ads on it, it's not necessarily over-monetized. It's just a site with too many ads on it. And if you're anything like me, you probably just skip past those ads, never click them, and just read the content.

And that is why most people with these types of ads are making no money. The key is that less is actually more. And the blog post we're going to be looking at today, you can see, doesn't really have that many ads on it at all, just has a couple of buttons that I put and a few other informational type things, like a block here, which isn't an ad, it's just a screenshot. And of course, our little appraisal tool up here. And I'm going to show you live on this training exactly how we turn this into a big money maker.

But first, why Ezoic and AdSense don't really work? Because they generate minimal revenue due to low click-through rates. And not only that, but there's actually a lot of people have started noticing that sites with lots and lots of programmatic ads on them are actually seeing a decline in search engine rankings.

So not only are they not making much money, but they're also losing rankings in traffic. every single day. And the idea behind these traditional ads like Zoic and AdSense is you get basically a low click-through rate, which is about 1%, or on the high end, maybe you get 10% click-through rate, which means over 90% of the people who come to your website never click and never make you any money.

And of those that do click, the RPM or revenue per thousand impressions is actually extremely low. Most studies say that they're making less than two cents per visitor. and not to mention ad blindness and different softwares for ads and different things like that that are making us not able to even see the ads which makes this type of programmatic advertising basically useless and that is why what i propose is using interactive elements and flipping the mark using interactive elements you keep your users engaged on your site longer leading to higher conversion rates and you can actually get a gigantic amount of people to click on the things that make you money For example, over here you could see I averaged over 20 cents per visitor on this example. Right here we did over 177 signups in 19 days on this one, and you could see it was with only 2,100 visitors.

So essentially, I was earning like $10 a click. Here's another one in the Bible market where I was averaging 25 cents a click. The lottery market, averaging 12 cents a click, and on and on we go.

This works like crazy. And not only does this help you get more engagement and more clicks to the things that make you money, it's also going to give you better data collection in knowing what people are interested on your site so you can adapt and adjust according to what they click on and what they don't click on. Simply using programmatic ads does not allow this, and basically you're just giving your data to some big company. So number four, what we want to do is focus on content that performs better. We want to have interactive tools on our website.

whether it's search boxes, drop-down menus, interactive icons, forms, inline pop-ups, interactive content, gamification like progress bars, badges, radio buttons, check boxes, checklists, live chat, chatbots, and the whole nine yards. And the idea is to make something natural based on what people are doing on your website. Case in point, here's a PDF converter website that's using those programmatic ads, although I did notice something interesting when I used an... incognito window.

I did notice that one of the ads was actually pretty smart and they had like a little start button or download button that actually got a lot of engagement. Because let me ask you this very very important question. On this webpage what do you think generates more clicks? The button that says choose files, the ads over here, all this stuff up here, or anything else on the website?

And if your answer was the choose files button pat yourself on the back and You win because on this web page that is the most important button. Same thing if we were to go to Google. The most important button here is the Google search button.

If 100 people come to this web page, odds are 100 people are going to search for something. And that is where interactive elements come to play. What we want to do is take our website and think about what would be natural. based on the keyword or way that they got there.

If they came from a YouTube video and they're looking for notes, we should have a download button for the notes. If they came from Google and they were looking for a table or a PDF or they want to convert a file, we need to keep those in mind and look at what is natural based on what they're doing. In the example we're going to be using today, they are coming here looking for a GoDaddy appraisal tool and they want to appraise their domain name.

So the amount of people that are actually putting a domain here and clicking appraise, Yeah, it's like a hundred percent. Same thing when I had a Bible website. It was about different versions of the Bible and I had little pictures of the Bible with like the NIV, the New King James, the New Standard, and all the different Bibles like this. And because there was different choices of Bibles, the click-through rate on the Bibles was like 99%. Same thing with my lottery website.

When I had my lottery numbers website, it was a simple website where they can go and find the lottery numbers. And what I did is I had a little drop down box that had today's date. Why?

Because when you go to the lottery website to check the numbers, you need to know the date of the drawing that you were entered in. And the amount of people that clicked this drop down box, again, was like 99%. Meaning virtually everyone who visited the site clicked on that and ended up at my affiliate offer. So if I had a website like this, the key would be to have something that they can download.

Maybe I can go find a PDF software that they can click on or download or order. Or if it's something like this, maybe I can offer them a free domain appraisal or an appraisal guide or something like that. And I need to think to myself, what would naturally fit here? Or another example, when I ran my famous tattoo website that got all kinds of attention for making a bunch of money, I quite simply had a search box.

where they could search for the tattoo and then under that tattoo search box I actually had images of the most popular tattoos that they could click and go to the affiliate link and actually see that tattoo. So instead of saying download a million tattoos if they were looking for a cat tattoo yeah I led them to the page with the cat tattoos. And getting this data is actually very simple. I would just go here and type in tattoo or whatever my keyword was and find the top tattoos. We can see here Butterfly is one of the top, which is why I had it on my website.

Then we had Medusa, snakes, skeletons, and on and on we go. And because it was interactive, lots of people used the search box and clicked the icons, which got way more traffic to my affiliate offers and the things that made me money. I did the same thing on this little basketball layout program where I had little basketballs and things that they can click.

Taking things from the affiliate offer and putting them on the web page that people knew exactly what they were getting. And not only that, but making sure it fit why people were on the page in the first place. And again, with the Tattoo website, we had the search box right here front and center because I knew people would want to search.

And with my mortgage website, putting the zip code in was a key player in finding the rate for their local area. So notice how all of these things are natural and they work really, really well. And not only that, but it's going to increase engagement on your websites, your blogs, and any of your content online. because people are going to actually click and find what they want.

This is key. And you might be saying, well, Marcus, that's all fine and good, but where do we take them to actually make money? This is where the flip the market.

Idea comes into play. What we want to do is flip the market from one thing to another thing. If they're on your website looking for stuff like mortgage ideas or calculators or something like that, they're kind of a passive person looking for calculators and tips on mortgage and just information. What we want to do is try to flip them into something that is going to help them and also pay us. For example, if the rates are good we could link them to a refinance offer.

which pays lots and lots of money. And what we're going to do is have our calculator here with our interactive elements. And then on the bottom, we'll say, if your calculator said 5% or more, click here to save tons of money by refinancing.

Then we take them to a helpful article about refinancing that shows ads based on what they're looking for. We can even get them into different affiliate offers and things of that nature simply by getting them to click. And the name of the game is getting people to click.

But the problem is most people are lazy. They just want to stick a code on their site and get rich instead of going out there and looking at each piece of content separately. And when we look at these case studies, we can see that interactive elements versus traditional ads is going to skyrocket your income like never before. And making these little tools is actually very easy.

We can go over to websites like this one here and create a little dropdown based on the stuff that we want. And remember, dropdowns work like crazy. If you had a mortgage site and it said choose your state, most people are going to choose their state.

If I had a drop-down that said how much money do you want to make and it said $10,000 a month, they're going to use the drop-down to find the number that they want and I can take them to an article based on specifically what they want to do. Or in the weight loss market, how much weight do you want to lose? I mean, isn't that much better than a bunch of weight loss random banner ads, affiliate links, and things that nobody wants to click on?

Yeah. I thought so too. So I can make a simple drop down and put it on my page in a very easy way and not only that but I can actually track what people are clicking on.

So if they're using the drop down and most people want to lose 150 pounds, well then I know that and now I can adjust my marketing accordingly, get more clicks and make more money. Or maybe you want to go over here and make a search box. We can create a search box however we want, color it, make it fancy, make it easy to use. and bada bing bada boom people are going to use it and we get paid.

Or maybe you're going to go over here to like IconScout and get different icons that you can have like radio buttons, question boxes, and different things like that. Using these interactive elements is a game changer but don't worry you don't have to know code all we need to do is make something very simple. For example if people are coming over here to look up their domain value let's say I put in article finish dot which is one of our blog profit network domains, I can see that is listed at $476.

So thinking about all the people that are coming here appraising domains every day, what would these people want that I could get the most clicks on? Well, maybe I can have a list of buttons like domain over $500, click here. Under 500, click here. Or maybe a big button that says click to sell your domain. A lot of people, when they find out the price of the domain, they might want to sell it not knowing how much money it might have been worth.

Having that button there instead of some ad for GoDaddy or something like that is going to be a game changer. Then I can take them from that to maybe a course on domain buying and selling. Or maybe they could sign up for GoDaddy auctions or something like that.

What we want to do is something very direct and very easy. Or let's say we wanted to go through and actually get them into the domain selling process. I could simply take something like this box here, copy it in a program like Snagit, obviously make sure you have the rights to it, block out the words right like this here, then I could say something like, sell my domain now.

And now we have a banner that's going to far out convert anything else out there. I could simply click edit post, put my banner right in here like this, and then bada bing bada boom, I have something that people are going to want to click on. just out of sheer curiosity because it fits what we're trying to do. Then I could take them to a video talking about how to sell the domain and get them into one of my courses about domain selling or something like that that puts money in my pocket. Or I could use one of the tools I get from Blog Profit Network.

We actually have several different Voodoo plugins in the Voodoo plugin suite that is included with Blog Profit Network where you could go through and create buttons and slideshows and various different things like that. Take a look at this one here where we had 10,000 people look at the slideshow and 8,300 actually clicked on it. Here's another one. 76,000 people viewed the slideshow and 42,000 actually clicked on it.

That's over 50% click-through rate where most ads are getting, yeah, like less than 1%. So if I wanted to go here, I could simply make a group of buttons called domain selling, choose my size right like this. And then I can make little buttons right like this, or even buttons that are filled in that actually look like buttons like this one here.

And I can have little questions like check other websites for domain value, sell your domain here, click here to get a custom appraisal, and all kinds of different things that are based on what the user is looking for. The key is in being super interactive, and when we're super interactive, we can convert traffic like crazy. And a bonus tip is to make your interactive elements actually real and work and put trackers behind them. This is what we do in the Vudu suite of plugins that you can get at blogprofitnetwork.com. But if you want to do it on your own, you can also track it using different short URLs or things of that nature that'll track which ones people click on.

Or you can even use something like Crazy Egg to see what people are clicking on on your website. Now, making these is actually pretty easy, and I'm going to include the entire notes, including the HTML code for some of these elements. and the links where I go and create them, as well as the programs I use to do screen captures and different things like that. And we can see here there are tons and tons of different elements you can use.

Some of them are like a search box, drop down box, radio buttons, check boxes, and yep, if you're making these, you can just copy the code right here and it'll put it on your WordPress. Super easy. And again, these will be over at DownloadMyNotes.com. We can also see like text area, date picker.

File upload, which is perfect if you're doing like PDFs and stuff like that. Reset button, number input, slider boxes, navigation menus, image carousels, video players, light boxes, inline pop-ups, click to copy button, sticky headers and footers, like I have on my blog down here. These elements get clicks. and clicks make money. So start using these elements, watch your click-through rate skyrocket, the engagement on your site is going to go up, which is going to increase your traffic, not to mention the search engines like that too, and you're going to be able to convert your traffic like never before.
