Lecture by Myron Golden

Introduction

  • Myron Golden emphasizes the importance of watching the video series in sequential order.
  • Every experience, education, and environment is stored in our subconscious.
  • The soulish realm is unreliable as it holds possibly flawed education, bad experiences, and toxic environments.

Spiritual Warfare

  • According to Paul, the weapons of warfare are spiritual, not physical.
  • Strongholds in the mind are formed by suggestions, which become scenarios, and then beliefs contrary to the knowledge of God.
  • The battle for the mind involves renewing one's mind.

Self-Consciousness vs. God-Consciousness

  • The soul: self-conscious; the spirit: God-conscious.
  • The spirit connects us to the boundless realm of God.
  • Biological and sociological processes form the body and soul, but the spirit is created by God.

Identifying Mirrors to Avoid

  1. Physical Mirror

    • Only reflects the physical body, which is not the entirety of a person.
    • Our body is just a house for the spirit and soul.
  2. Circumstance Mirror

    • Circumstances (health, wealth, etc.) do not define who a person truly is.
    • Examples include blessed people going through prison, lion's dens, fiery furnaces, and even crucifixion.
    • Circumstances should refine, not define one's identity.
  3. Other People's Opinions

    • Opinions of others are often misinformed and should not define who you are.
    • Competitors and detractors can have biased and incorrect views.
    • Only one mirror is accurate: the Word (Bible).

Conclusion

  • The Bible tells who we truly are.
  • Reject information based on bodily image, circumstances, and others' opinions.
  • Embrace the truth of who you are as revealed by the Bible.
  • This leads to a new level of consciousness and unique thoughts.
