Over the past week, The Manny Show has become one of the most corrupt YouTube channels, copyright striking multiple YouTubers who even dare to criticize him. But the real question is, how did we get here? If you guys don't know already, this is The Manny Show.
A very large, short-form content creator who steals hundreds of videos and jokes from smaller creators. Essentially making thousands, if not... hundreds of thousands of dollars making videos that look like this. Like what the hell am I even watching? Speaking of what the hell, let's talk about the fact that somehow the last video I made hit the like goal.
This is the one time I am disappointed in getting views because if you guys didn't know what the like goal was, it was if I hit a hundred likes, I'd recreate a Manny Show short. I didn't expect to get a hundred likes. But you know, that's fine. It can't be that bad of what like the short I'm trying to recreate is.
It's not like, it's not like his channel's that bad, right? It is that bad. You know that video that I played 10 seconds ago? That's the video that everyone in the discord voted for. I'm supposed to recreate that?
I'm cooked. It's over. I am so, so very sorry for your guys's eyesight. We have free bleach stations in my discord server down below. But other than that, let's get back into the video.
So as I was saying before, the Manny Show hasn't really- had a ton of drama other than him just stealing videos from smaller creators. And most people didn't really talk about him much, but now he started copyright striking the people who are speaking out against him. And this first originated.
from a youtuber called Penguin. Oh, you never know when it's gonna happen, you just know it's gonna happen. So you know, I plan to spend my day outside, having a great time, until I woke up this morning and realized that one of my videos had a copyright takedown, which is very new to my channel.
So for those of you who are unaware, for what I do on here and how the whole copyright thing works, I play the clip for 10 seconds, and then I give my reaction for about like 15 to 30 seconds, on average. I'm not a clip channel, I give commentary on shit. And because of that, I'm gonna be doing a video called, I give commentary on said clip.
That makes it allowed on YouTube, but apparently not in Manny's world. Yeah, I honestly find this absurd because if you don't know what a copyright strike is, it's pretty much if you get three strikes on your channel, it's permanently deleted forever and copyright strikes don't go away. So it's not like getting a copyright claim, which yeah, is annoying, but a copyright strike is honestly a big deal for a YouTube channel because two more strikes in any way, shape, or form, and your channel is permanently deleted.
You're not getting that back. Now, this is really disappointing because the smaller creator myself, it's kind of upsetting to see larger creators abuse their power in ways that really shouldn't be possible. And speaking of being a smaller creator, like and subscribe. That's right.
Like and subscribe so we can hit 200 subscribers. Along with that, if we hit 100 likes on this video. Once again, actually, I'm not gonna, no, no, I'm not, I'm not recreating the Manny short.
I will, I will do whatever the top comment says. Anyway, anyway, anyway, it actually just doesn't stop at Nguyen. In fact, the Manny show started copyright striking a minor.
I don't even know. hey all right so this is the channel in question called coco crazy um honestly makes low-key fire content has been blowing up recently i'm not mistaken so shout out shout out to coco crazy i congratulate you on your success i hope you hit 100k soon the youtube play button is well deserved your content's great anyway enough of the d1 glazing this is the video in question right here we'll resume from the beginning if you use the internet as a chance to get away from your life you probably either spend it watching tiktok okay anyway so basically she used i think a five or i mean this isn't even five seconds the clips in question are very i mean they're completely modified it's not like you're just copying and pasting them into the video i mean it's better than me i just I occasionally just copy and paste a video. I don't care, man. If I get copyright striked, technically I'm not doing anything wrong, but it would be funny. Anyway.
So yeah, this is the... The channel that the Manny Show targeted, I find it absurd that targeting a small channel with 34k subs. I mean, the video did good, 420,000 views, but the fact that he targeted a smaller creator is genuinely absurd.
Now you may be like, Gal, why do you have this happy, uh, I just graduated from college, uh, goofy music playing? And the reason is, this... This actually has an amazing ending.
So I'm gonna assume that everyone here doesn't live under a rock and they know who Moist Critical is, slash Charlie, slash Penguin Z, etc etc. He actually made a video on the Manny Show. That is how mainstream this drama has become.
And I'm not really gonna watch. Um, I'm not gonna like play you guys the entire video. I guess I can play it But it's basically just charlie clouding on the mani show for a solid like six seven minutes before he goes Obviously on to the next creator, but I still find that amazing in this video is actually what gained a ton of traction towards this topic and thankfully most of the copyright strikes and i'm pretty sure if not all of the copyright strikes have actually been removed and the creators are obviously they don't have the copyright strike anymore they have to fear their channel getting deleted but i'm pretty sure that's that's how this ends and it's great it's great that uh penguin z made a video about it charlie whatever you want to call him and i think that i think that's great for the youtube commentary space it's kind of a big w for us But on the flip, it's kind of disappointing that we have to have a person who literally has more subscribers than the Manny Show make a video about him, somewhat exposing him.
This shouldn't be required. In my opinion, we shouldn't have to create drama around someone to fix a problem that YouTube should already be solving. It's like putting a band-aid on a gunshot. Like, you temporarily solve the problem and it's great for a few minutes, but at the end of the day, you still have a bullet in your side. That's not going away, so I just want to wrap up this video saying that The Manny Show, I would to an extent say officially cancelled.
He's been abusing the copyright system for too long, but we have a happy ending at the end of the day. How long is that happy ending gonna last? Because unless YouTube steps up and starts properly holding these scummy creators accountable, this trend is just gonna repeat in the future. And unfortunately, that's kind of how it is at the moment. So that's pretty much it.
Make sure to like and subscribe. See you all in the next one.
