Introduction

Early Life

  • Sought the true God by observing the natural world (stars, moon, and sun).
  • Realized that Allah (swt) is the only Creator who does not disappear or change.

Conflict with His Father and Society

  • Disagreed with his father's idol worship.
  • Was eventually asked to leave home for refusing to worship idols.

Confrontation with Idol Worship

  • Publicly denounced idol worship.
  • Destroyed idols in the temple to prove their powerlessness.
  • Was arrested and brought before King Nimrod.

Trial and Miracles

  • Thrown into a massive fire for his actions, but was unharmed by Allah’s miracle.
  • Challenged King Nimrod's claim of divinity.

Migration and Mission

  • Migrated to spread the message of Allah after being rejected by most of Babylon.
  • Accompanied by Sarah and Lut, who later became a prophet.

Family Life

  • Married Sarah and later Hajar, with whom he had his first son, Ismail.
  • Left Hajar and Ismail in the desert by Allah's command.

Tests of Faith

  • Hajar discovered the Zam Zam well after a miraculous event.
  • Ibrahim was commanded to sacrifice his son Ismail, but was stopped by Allah and allowed to sacrifice a ram instead, showing his obedience.
