oh man so Roblox broke like so many games but that's just the tip of the iceberg that we got to talk about today because a Roblox YouTuber by the name of Flush with almost a million subscribers yeah Roblox permanently banned him 2 days ago and the reason is absolutely ridiculous but even then that's not all because nearly a million Roblox accounts have been leaked on a cyber criminal form love that we got a family in Florida suing Roblox for failing to protect their child and honestly a whole bunch of other news and Roblox updates that we got to talk about so if you haven't already subscribed hit that subscribe button and let's get into it let's start off with the story of Flush a million subscriber YouTuber almost his Roblox account got permanently banned now this is a 6-minute video i'm not going to make you watch through the whole 6-minute video here but what I can tell you is this is a situation that's been going on over the past few days basically what happened is the same thing that happened to this guy right here James Antlers now I made a video talking about this situation a few weeks ago and if you haven't seen that video here's the relevant information the FBI showed up to my house over Roblox there it is right there because you see the exact same thing that happened to James Antlers here happened to Flush you can see banned for 7 days moderator note your account has been moderated for making threats against others and this is where the craziness comes in so this is the Roblox support form and for some crazy reason you can literally go on this form and type in anything you want under the email address so like I could type in hotg
[email protected] copy and paste that down here and boom just like that now I can go down here and I can type in anything I want like I want to beat up David Bazooki and then all you got to do is select the few categories here literally doesn't even matter click continue and then boom just like that the Roblox support request will be sent but here's the thing roblox support isn't going to see the request coming from me even though I'm the person that sent it they're going to see it as coming from hotg grandmagmail.com so whatever Roblox account is attached to this email account if there is one Roblox support will see that account as the person who sent the request so what happened and the same thing that happened to Mr james Antlers here the same thing the exact same ban see what happened is someone grabbed Flush's email his business email and they contacted Roblox support pretending to be him and as you can see from right here made some threats against Roblox headquarters my man was framed this is the second YouTuber that this has happened to in the span of two weeks the fact that anybody can just type in any email address and like this just works like like that's crazy why is there not a verification process why is there not an authentication process and if there is why is it not working now luckily I was able to get him into contact with Roblox support like actual Roblox support not like the email kind so hopefully he does end up getting unbanned i should also note real quick that if you think you're funny by doing this you're not this is illegal the police will come to your house the FBI will come to your house your parents will go to jail you will go to jail this is not funny making threats online is not a joke it is illegal okay okay i just want to make that clear but next let's talk about this right here emergency update roblox released an update that lets players easily fake donations completely breaking please donate please donate is not the only game that's broke but as you can see right here a bunch of fake donations have started popping up and please donate and the reason why is because of this Roblox update right here roblox has launched regional pricing for game passes now on paper this is a great update honestly I I think it is a great update in in reality the problem is it breaks a bunch of games but we'll get into that so how the update works is let's say you're trying to buy this game pass well in America this game pass is 1,200 Robux but in Mexico this game pass might just be 650 Robux before this update the game pass was the same price everywhere now the problem with this is obviously depending on what country you're in the value of the currency of that country might be a little bit higher might be a little bit less so like one Mexican dollar is a little bit less than one US dollar that's just kind of how the world economy works and so this Roblox update fixes that by evening it out so that way it's the same price for everyone no matter where you are great update but the problem is is along with this update for some reason players are able to make a game pass that's worth like 999 million Robux and then sell it to their friend for like one Robux and to everyone else it looks like that person just bought a 999 million Robux Game Pass but in reality they just paid one Robux for it now this is not only broken please donate but pretty much every game that has Roblox donations including my game that I stream with right on occasion i'm sure you guys have seen that please donate even had to make a popup in the game saying "Hey Roblox released an update that lets players easily fake donations completely breaking our game there's nothing we can do until Roblox helps us fix this issue." Now this is just one of those situations where you think before releasing an update like this Roblox would go "Hm okay so a bunch of popular games like Please Donate," which is one of the most popular games on the platform ever if this update is going to break those games maybe we should you know fix that before we release the update but apparently Roblox just didn't think about that they just kind of released the update and then they were like "Oh crap we broke it we broke everything." Oh man it's a situation where Roblox is once again like just disconnected from the community like they should have thought about this why did they not think about this roblox is fixing it though so hopefully it gets fixed soon now let's talk about this nearly a million Roblox accounts have been leaked on a cyber criminal form allegedly now a lot of you guys have been talking about this and sending me this article here in fact here is the actual article 900,000 Roblox accounts may be on sale here is what we know it says that this dump supposedly comes from stealer logs which is essentially malware it's it's a virus basically what happened is a bunch of kids probably clicked on one of those free Robux links or downloaded some sort of software or extension that was infected with a virus infected with a malware it stole their Roblox account information and now that account info is getting sold on the dark web now we do have some good news here and that good news is that a comment from Roblox has yet to be received and also Cyberne has not been able to independently verify the leaked data meaning this could be real this could not be real it's not verified yet now something that Chase Rooney brought up in a recent video of his is that a bunch of these accounts may actually be from something like this right here now I don't know if you guys remember the 2022 Searchs incident but this was a Roblox extension that allowed you to do some pretty crazy stuff and as you can see over 200,000 people ended up downloading the extension and it turns out that that extension was selling your account info without you knowing it so as long as you're not downloading some weird Roblox extensions clicking on those free Roblox links or going to those sketchy websites you know the ones I'm talking about then you're probably okay and if you're really worried about it change your Roblox password you're going to be fine all right don't get into a panic over this yet it's It's not verified yet don't panic yet next up a family in Florida is suing Roblox and Discord for failing to protect a young girl from well you know bad stuff on Roblox you know what I'm talking about here's the news article here this is from Fox 13 Tampa Bay Florida family sues Roblox and Discord after alleged online exploitation now I read a little bit through the lawsuit here and this is actually kind of interesting so it says the young girl's father learned that the PDF had identified and targeted the young girl through the Roblox games called Mic Up and Write a Letter where adults allow or Roblox allows adults to freely contact children now of course this is Mike Up right here actually this is the 17 plus version i think it's got like a 13 plus version yeah here it is right here the 13 plus version and I believe the other game too Write a Letter is also 13 plus but here's the thing right even though they're 13 plus they're the whole point of these games is to kind of like hang out with people and make friends and honestly maybe these games should just be 17 plus but even then there's a problem a lot of these kids just end up taking their mom's ID or credit card or driver's license and just verifies themsel on Roblox that way like a lot of kids they just pretend or lie about their age right so they get into these games anyway like I guarantee you if I go to the mic up 17 plus game right now even though it's for ages 17 plus I'm going to see some sort of kid in here talking on voice chat because they took their mom's you know ID how do you deal with that i don't know i have no idea that is terrifying i'm just going to say that right now that's terrifying so yeah I don't know the solution to this to be honest with you it's just it's a recurring problem that Roblox needs to figure out how to solve because stuff like this just keeps happening over and over and over and over again and it just goes to show hey you got to be careful out there guys you got to be careful don't trust strangers on the internet because that girl that you just met in mic up yeah check this out a girl on Roblox is simply a guy in real life all right be careful out there guys now we do have some good Roblox news this weekend roblox actually broke a record they had 13,500,64 13,564 thou I said they got a lot of people playing Roblox look at this right here in fact don't look at that look at this check this out right here if we take a look at the all-time player count for Roblox check this out this right here is Roblox in 2021 this over here is Roblox today roblox is getting more and more and more and more popular in fact it is more popular today than it has ever been ever that blue bar down there by the way this is Fortnite just for comparison yeah Roblox is that big in fact if we look right now Roblox has almost 8 million players at 600 p.m on a school night that's crazy hopefully the servers can survive back to the bad news though um Roblox may soon stop supporting its Microsoft app now I don't know if you guys know this but if you're on PC and you open up the Microsoft Store here you can actually search up Roblox here it is right here and you can actually download Roblox through the Microsoft Store now I don't do this because I just use it in the browser but a lot of people do play Roblox that way and starting soon you're no longer going to be able to do that now Roblox doesn't say why they're no longer supporting the Microsoft Store version they just said this version of the Roblox app is no longer supported if I had to guess it's probably due to bots and exploiters i know a lot of hackers and a lot of exploiters end up using the Microsoft app so by getting rid of it it makes it harder for hackers and exploiters to you know do their stuff so honestly it's a W look the Microsoft app version sucked anyway why are you using it don't use that version okay just just use the regular browser version of Roblox all right and then finally we got this right here roblox games can now offer integrated friend invite rewards and this is actually really interesting check this out so basically how it works is you invite a Roblox friend to your game your Roblox friend joins your Roblox game and then you both get a bunch of free stuff in the game roblox released an entire article about this here's another example right it says "Invite a friend and Dragon Adventures will give you 1,500 coins." So you get 1,500 coins in the game for free by just having a friend join you honestly pretty sick and here's like another example they like texted their friend Maggie here they're like "Hey come play Dragon Adventures with me." Maggie joins the game and you both get a bunch of free stuff so honestly really cool but there's a major problem with this and I don't know if Roblox has considered this whenever they made this update but Roblox have you ever stopped to consider the fact that uh Roblox players don't have friends because um that's exactly the situation I'm in and um honestly I feel a little bit left out right now now I'm going to go take a bubble bath
