After-work beer Niko had a hard day at work today. His boss was unfriendly, he didn't have enough time and his colleagues were also in a bad mood. He worked three hours of overtime and worked a total of 12 hours! The bus home takes far too long. Niko just wants to go to bed. When he arrives home, his roommate Hannes is sitting at the kitchen table. "Hello! You look tired," he tells him, but Niko doesn't answer, "I cooked too much for myself. If you want to eat something, it's in the fridge." Niko shakes his head. “I need a beer after work. Do you like one too?” His roommate never says no to beer. For Niko , the beer after work means relaxation. With it he can forget the hard day at work. Niko sits down at the table with his roommate. At first they don't talk. But then Niko slowly relaxes. He asks Hannes how his day was. “Shit,” he replies and Niko nods. “Then we can’t talk about work together,” he says, and both are happy. Instead, Hannes talks about the date he had yesterday. “This woman knew I was a police officer. Nevertheless, she spoke badly about police officers for ten minutes. Why do you do something like that?” The two laugh loudly. “But Manuela, who I met last week, is great. We even kissed at the end .” Niko is happy for his roommate. He gets a second beer after work. And also the food that is in the fridge. The two sit together at the kitchen table until 11 a.m. Afterwards, Niko falls asleep immediately. The after-work beer makes every day better. Work & Travel Lisa recently finished school. She thinks about what she wants to do now. She doesn't like studying that much and doesn't want to start training yet. She would rather explore the world first. Lisa therefore decided to fly to Australia for a year and do work and travel there. It costs a lot of money, but you can also have a lot of great experiences. It offers the opportunity to explore the country and earn a little money at the same time. Lisa can also improve her English very well . Before you can get started, you first have to apply for a visa. She then flies by plane from Frankfurt to Melbourne in Australia. Now your own adventure begins. Australia really looks incredibly beautiful. She is amazed at the huge desert and the many special animals. Her two favorite animals are koalas and kangaroos. Lisa's first job is on a small farm. There she helps harvest fruit and vegetables. In return, Lisa is allowed to live on the farm and receives free food. The work is very tiring, but also a lot of fun. Lisa quickly makes many new friends. After some time she would like to travel further. Your next destination is Sydney. She will work as a temporary worker in a hotel there. Later she would like to travel further north to Mackay. Lisa can hardly wait. It was a good decision to fly to Australia. Lisa will never forget her time here. Barbecue ban It's the weekend. Alex and Tom want to take advantage of the good weather. They think about what they can do. “Let’s go to the park,” Alex suggests. Tom nods. "That 's a good idea. We can also invite our other friends.” Alex immediately calls Nina and Paul. The four friends ride their bikes to the city park. Due to the good weather there is a lot going on. The friends play football and listen to music. Nina brought a book with her. After a while it will be midday. Paul is starting to get hungry. “Do you want to eat something too?” he asks the other friends. Everyone nods. “We could grill something. I have a mini grill with me,” suggests Tom. But Nina shakes her head. "That doesn't work. We are in a park. Grilling is not allowed here.” “Oh, why is that?” asks Paul, amazed. Nina explains it to him. “There is a lot of dry grass and a lot of trees here. Fires can easily occur. That’s why you shouldn’t grill here.” Alex nods. The friends therefore decide on a pizza. There is a small pizza shop right around the corner. You quickly run over and order four pizzas. Mmm, they taste good really good. The friends sit on the picnic blanket and enjoy their pizza. “Then next time we’ll have a barbecue at my house,” says Paul. "That's a great idea. Grilling isn’t a problem there either,” answers Nina. It's slowly getting dark. The friends say goodbye to each other and head back home. That was a beautiful day. Living on the water Two years ago Ingrid took a big step. She gave up her apartment and bought a small boat. Since then she has lived on the water. She can go wherever she wants. She is currently sailing around the Mediterranean on her ship. Ingrid spends the nights in a harbor. She spends the rest of her time on the water. Ingrid uses the time to go fishing, swimming or reading. She only has to leave the boat to go shopping. But she is not often alone. Her friends regularly visit her on her boat. Then they sit together on the ship and look at the sea. They drink wine, eat cake and talk about a variety of topics. Visitors can also sleep on Ingrid's boat. She has two additional beds in her boat for this purpose . There is even a TV, a kitchen and a bathroom. The ship looks like a small house inside. However, in winter it is often very cold at sea. That's why Ingrid moves to the city to live with her sister over the winter. She stays there until it's warmer again. She uses her time in the city to think about where she wants to go next. After a while it finally gets warmer again. Then she raises the anchor and sets off again in her boat. This year Ingrid wants to explore the Atlantic. My favorite festival Emma stands in front of the Ferris wheel and looks up. She has a cup full of apple juice in her left hand. Her boyfriend Matthias is standing next to her and holding her right hand. Your palm is a little wet. The sweat is there because Emma is scared. Even as a small child she was afraid of Ferris wheels. Even as an adult, Emma is still afraid of it. “We do n’t have to drive. If you want, we can go into the big tent over there and eat a white sausage,” says Matthias calmly. But Emma doesn't give up. “No,” she says, “I can do it. I want to ride the Ferris wheel. I don’t want to be afraid anymore.” Matthias hugs Emma. “It’s okay to be afraid,” he says. Emma looks at the people who are just getting into the gondolas of the Ferris wheel and spots a small child with his dad. Emma is ashamed. A small child rides the Ferris wheel, but she is too scared. Matthias kisses her on the forehead. “Come on,” he says and wants to go to the tent. Emma remains firmly on the ground. “Go ahead, Matthias. “I’ll come right away,” she says and kisses him on the cheek. Matthias is a little confused, but he goes into the tent alone. There are a lot of people around Emma. The festival takes place every year in Emma's village. Every year she sees the Ferris wheel and every time she is too scared. Emma looks up at the Ferris wheel again. She takes a deep breath and walks to the entrance. The gondola arrives and Emma doesn't want to ride anymore, but it's too late. There are many people behind her who push her into the gondola. Emma is incredibly scared. The gondola moves and the girl closes her eyes. She's shaking a little. After a few moments, Emma opens her eyes and is amazed. She's at the top of the Ferris wheel. It's so beautiful here. She even sees her own house. Emma is suddenly calm and at peace. All fear is gone. After the ride is over, Emma gets out. She quickly runs to Matthias to tell him about the experience. “Come on Matthias. I want to ride with you!” Emma is looking forward to riding the Ferris wheel again. Have a green thumb It's finally the weekend. I would like to use the time to make my apartment more beautiful. So far there is only a few pieces of furniture in it. I need something to decorate. I would like to buy some plants. But unfortunately I don't have a green thumb at all. This means that all of my plants only live a very short time. I either water them too often or too rarely. Last year I bought a small palm tree. But after just a few It had dried up for months. My friend Lisa is the complete opposite of me. She has a green thumb. Her entire apartment is decorated with beautiful flowers. Sometimes I envy her because of that. She has given me plants from her apartment a few times . But they didn't last long for me either. I could also decorate my apartment with other things. For example with pictures or a few candles. A string of lights would also be a good idea. But that's not the same. Everything looks more alive with plants. I would like to have something green in my apartment. Many people are like me. But there are other options too. I have now bought some plastic plants. They look almost as nice, but unfortunately they do n't smell as good. But they bloom all year long and I don't have to do anything about it. The perfect solution for someone like me. That's why it's not a bad thing that I don't have a green thumb. Hospitality Now the time has come. Markus' vacation begins. This time he wants to go on a hiking tour with his friend Lukas. The two friends went to Austria for this. You want to climb the Wildspitze mountain today. They start their hike early in the morning . But there is a problem. Shortly after they set off, it began to snow heavily. So the two of them cannot continue their hike. You need a place to stay. Markus discovers a small hut. They quickly run there and ring the doorbell. A little old woman opens the door for them. She notices the bad weather. “Come in quickly, otherwise you’ll freeze to death,” says the old woman. Markus and Lukas thank him and enter the hut. It's nice and warm in here! The woman immediately brings them hot tea. That feels good! “I also have some soup. Would you like to eat some of it?” asks the woman. The two friends nod. They are really hungry. The woman smiles and goes into the kitchen. After a short while she comes back with two bowls of soup. Wow, it tastes good! Markus and Lukas immediately start eating. The woman watches them eat. She is happy about the unexpected company. Gardener Lisa is in a bad mood today. She needs a new job. But she just doesn't know what she would like to do. At that moment the doorbell rings. It's her friend Nadine. “Hello Lisa, how are you?” she asks. “Not so good,” Lisa replies and tells her about the job problem. Nadine thinks for a moment. Then she says: “You have to find a job that you enjoy! You probably have a few hobbies.” Lisa thinks. “I like taking care of my flowers,” she says. Nadine smiles. “You should work in a nursery!” she says. Lisa is surprised. That's a really good idea. She loves flowers. This way she could combine her work with her hobby. The very next day Lisa visits the garden center in the village. There is a vacancy there. Lisa talks to the saleswoman Mona. “You are welcome to work here for a day. Then you can try and see if you enjoy the work.” Lisa agrees. She gets gloves and work clothes from Mona. Then it starts. First Mona explains the basics. Lisa listens very carefully. Then she can start working herself. Lisa really enjoys working in the gardening center . She takes care of the fruits and vegetables. She can talk a lot about flowers with customers. She also learns a lot of new things about plants. This is the perfect job. Lisa always wants to work here in the future. Later she thanks Nadine for the great idea. She has finally found a job that she enjoys. You are as wild as the sea and stormy as the wind. You are simply amazing and sometimes like a child. You are as multi-faceted as a rainbow. sometimes like lightning and thunder, and then like the sun That's you, that's you, that's you again and again, that's you, that's you You're without rest, that's you, that's you hold my life like that Momentum, that's you, that's you. You keep our love young. You're the salt in my soup, like peppers so hot. You are sweet, like chocolate, sometimes bitter, sometimes tender. Sometimes you're like a cactus pulling out your spines. But that's also what I love about you because that's what defines you. That's you, that's you, that's you again and again, that's you, that's you You're without rest, that's you, that's you keep my life going, that's you, that's you You keep it going our love young This is you, this is you This is you, this is you This is you, this is you This is you , this is you This is you, this is you This is you, this is you The carnival parade Paul and Marie have a lot to do today. You are planning to take part in a carnival parade. They still have to make their costumes. Paul has chosen a dragon costume and Marie dresses up as a witch. Paul uses green cardboard to make the wings for his kite. Then he puts on the dragon mask. Marie found an old bed sheet. You can use this to make a cape for your witch costume! “You still need a broom!” says Paul to Marie. Marie nods. “And I’ll take this hat with me.” The two costumes are finally finished! Now Paul and Marie are making their way to the carnival parade. Wow, there are a lot of people there! There are lots of decorated floats that play music. People throw candy from the floats to the spectators. Paul collects lots of candies. Marie and Paul move through the city with the other participants. Another viewer praises Marie for her great costume. She is happy and thanks him. Other people also dressed up. Paul discovers a gorilla, a superhero and a fairy. After two hours the parade is over. Paul and Marie make their way home. It was a beautiful day. Both have met many friends. The two of them want to take part again next year because it was so much fun. They can't wait! I'm going to Holland Marie would like to finally go on vacation again. But where? There are so many beautiful destinations. She could go to Italy. Or to Norway. She just can't decide. Maybe her friend Kai has an idea. She picks up the phone and calls him. "Hello Kai. I want to go on vacation next month. But I just don't know where to go. Do you have a tip?” Kai doesn’t have to think long. “Go to Holland! I was there last year. It's so beautiful there. Holland is always worth a trip.” Marie is surprised. She hadn't even thought about Holland yet. It's not far to get there. “Good idea, Kai! I don't know Holland yet. Thank you very much.” A few weeks later the time has finally come. Marie's vacation in Holland begins. She chooses a small hotel in Amsterdam. There is a lot to see here. She visits the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House. Then she rents a bike and rides it around the city. Holland is really beautiful. There are huge fields of flowers and lots of windmills here. Almost all people ride bicycles. Marie is having a lot of fun. After a week the vacation is over. Marie has to go back home. But she will come back. She liked Holland so much. She would like to come back next year with her friend Lisa. She is really looking forward to it. Borussia Dortmund It's finally Saturday. Julius has been looking forward to this day all week. Today he's going to the football stadium. His favorite club, Borussia Dortmund, plays there. He ca n't wait! Julius even wears a scarf with the club's logo. He also invited his friend Yannick. Yannick is not a big football fan. But he had no other plans and wanted to make his friend happy. That's why he accompanies him to the stadium. Julius and Yannick drive there by car. During the drive, Julius keeps talking about his favorite club. “Did you know that Borussia Dortmund was founded in 1909? They have already won the DFB Cup five times,” he says. Yannick nods interestedly. Unfortunately there is a traffic jam on the highway and the two friends have to wait half an hour. But for Luckily they arrive just in time. The stadium is completely full. Today's opponent is Bayern Munich, another top club. The winner will play in the cup final next week. So it 's an extremely important game. The game starts with a loud whistle. Julius cheers loudly for his club. Both teams are about the same strength. In the end, Dortmund narrowly won the game 3-2. That was really an exciting game. Yannick also had a lot of fun. The two then drive back home. In the future, Yannick will accompany Julius more often to football games. That was really a successful Saturday. Both had a lot of fun. Driving school Tom is annoyed. He wants to visit his friends in his home village. But there is no bus going there. Unfortunately, Tom doesn't have a driver's license and therefore can't drive. He wants to change that . That's why he enrolled in driving school. The driving instructor's name is Markus. He greets Lukas and then shows him the car. First he explains the basics. Then Tom gets to drive for the first time. It's not easy. You have to pay attention to many things . But Tom has talent. The first trip with the driving school car works very well. "You did well. “That way you’ll get your driving license quickly,” says Markus. Tom is happy. The training lasts several weeks. In the end, Tom has to pass a test. He is very excited. He concentrates completely on driving. After half an hour the exam is over. Tom is waiting for the examiner's evaluation. “Congratulations, Tom. You passed the driving test!” says the examiner. Tom is very happy. His driving instructor Markus is also proud of him. Tom can finally drive the car alone. He borrows his parents' car. He wants to visit his friends in his home village this weekend. A driving license is really very helpful. If you have the opportunity to drive, you are much more flexible. Tom is very happy that he finally made it. He can now go anywhere at any time. His girlfriend Lisa also attends driving school. He gives her tips to help her get better. Leon is having an affair Leon stands next to Valerie and hugs her. Valerie is crying and Leon is also very sad. The two have been in a relationship for over three years. Leon knows everything about Valerie. He knows her favorite foods, her dreams and that she doesn't like her hands. “They are so wrinkled,” Valerie always says, “as if I were 70 years old.” At such moments, Leon takes her hands and kisses them. “Your hands are perfect. Do not worry. When we're both 70 years old, I'll have a lot of wrinkles too," he always answers. But today everything is uncertain. Will they be together until they are 70? Leon doesn't know. The two look deeply into each other's eyes and Valerie takes a tissue in her hand. Leon knows everything about Valerie, but Valerie doesn't know everything about Leon. Last week he had an affair with another woman. “Why did you do that?” says Valerie and starts crying again. Leon apologizes, but it's too late. Valerie gets up and takes her suitcase out of the closet. She puts some clothes in it. Leon goes to her and takes her arm. Valerie pushes Leon away. She is hurt and sad. Leon wants Valerie to forget about it. She has finished packing her suitcase and is putting on her coat. Leon sees her go to the front door. Before she opens the door, she turns to Leon. “You know,” she says, “I love you. I still love you. But I love myself more. I do not trust you anymore. You've made a big mistake. I hope you learn from this.” Leon understands that this relationship is now over. Valerie is gone and Leon now allows himself to cry too. Souvenirs from vacation Lisa picks up a shell from the ground. “Yuck,” Daniel shouts, furrowing his eyebrows. “What’s wrong?” Lisa asks confused. Daniel takes the shell in his hand and turns it over. “There’s a little snail stuck to it.” He takes a closer look at the shell. “Besides, it’s dirty,” he says and hands the shell back to Lisa. “So what?” Lisa asks proudly and goes to the Water. In the sea she cleans the shell until there is no more dirt on it. She puts the item in her backpack. There is already a string that Lisa found on the ground, a yellow flower and the shell. Daniel laughs at Lisa. He doesn't understand why she takes these things with her. A few days later they are back home. The holiday was lovely and everyone had a great time. Lisa runs into the living room, where grandma and grandpa are sitting in front of the television. They are very happy that the children are back home. The two immediately talk about the funny things they experienced on vacation. The grandparents listen intently. “Oh yes, and I have something for you,” Lisa says excitedly and gets her backpack. She takes the yellow flower and gives it to grandma. “I found this flower on a big mountain,” Lisa says proudly. Grandma thanks her and gives Lisa a kiss on the forehead. Then she takes the shell out of the backpack. “This is for you, Grandpa. I found them on the beach,” she says. He is very happy about the gift. Lisa takes the string out of the backpack, holds it up and says: “And this is for Schnuffel.” At that moment the cat Schnuffel comes into the room and everyone laughs. “What a nice souvenir,” says Grandpa, and Daniel now understands why Lisa took all of these things with her. Traveling as a hitchhiker Michi loves adventure. He has been traveling alone through Europe and Asia since he was 16 years old. He never plans his trips. He has experienced a lot, but there is one thing he has never done before. And he wants to try it out on this vacation. He wants to travel as a hitchhiker, i.e. as a hitchhiker. The first thing Michi does is stand at the entrance to the highway. He wants to go south from his hometown of Hamburg. He has a sign in his hand that says “I want to go south.” Nothing more, nothing less. Michi doesn't care where he travels. He just wants to experience something new. After an hour a man stops. “I can take you with me to Hanover.” Michi looks closely at the man. He doesn't have a good feeling about him because he smells a bit like alcohol. "Thanks! “I would like to go a little further,” he explains to the driver. He wishes him good luck and drives away. Michi doesn't want to get into the car with everyone, but only with people he feels comfortable with. Ten minutes later a second car stops. Three young women are sitting inside. “Would you like to come to Leipzig?” they ask him. He feels comfortable with them and sits in their car. They have great fun together. They talk about God and the world. In the end, Michi sleeps on their couch in Leipzig. He has made his first friends! But the next day he drives on. In this way, Michi gets to Ljubljana in Slovenia. He meets a lot of new people and sees a lot of beautiful places. After his vacation he is sure: he only wants to travel as a hitchhiker in the future! Hours, days and nights go by I stare at the phone When will you finally call? Finally, a ringtone Hello, hello, hello, is it your turn? I only hear one breath But I feel it's you Can't wait to hear your voice And you? Please, just say one word Take the pressure off my soul Say you're on the other end I'm not torturing myself anymore I'm sending you my thoughts Didn't you miss me? Our argument was unnecessary That it's better to forget quickly It was just little things Today I see it But I miss you so much and I feel so alone Please, just say one word Take the pressure off my soul Say that you care about the other person It's the end I'm no longer tormenting myself Hello, hello, are you still there? Just say a word I firmly believe that there's a way for the two of us And our love isn't over yet Please, just say one word Take the pressure off my soul Say that you're on the other end I don't care anymore torment Please, just say one word Take the pressure off my soul Say that you're on the other end I won't torment myself any longer I won't torment myself any longer Hello, hello, are you still there? Please get in touch… Hello, hello, call again Gustav never wanted to go to a retirement home , but now he has to. His children don't have time to look after him all day and an at-home carer costs too much. He is sad. Gustav loves his apartment, where he has lived for the last 40 years. Now he has to say goodbye. The single room in the retirement home is actually quite nice and the bouquet of flowers from his son is large. “Next week I’ll bring you chocolate and crossword puzzles,” he says as he goes home, “and I’ll come visit you again tomorrow.” Gustav looks out the window. He had always lived in a big city. The retirement home is on the outskirts of the city and the garden is huge. There's even a forest! Gustav loves trees. A nurse shows him around the home and explains what he can do all day. There is yoga for seniors and a craft class twice a week. At lunchtime he sits at the table with five women and men. They talk and laugh together. They're really cool and funny! There is also a dance class in the afternoon. Gustav always hated dancing. But actually…is that fun? In the evening he falls tired into his bed. Maybe the retirement home isn't so bad after all. Restaurant Rudolf is the owner of a small restaurant near a swimming lake. He serves, among other things, pizza, pasta or schnitzel with fries. Today is Saturday, so Rudolf is expecting a particularly large number of guests today. A family enters the restaurant just in time for lunch. Leonie helps Rudolf in the restaurant as a waitress. She takes the orders and brings them to Rudolf. He then takes care of preparing the dishes. As soon as the food is ready, Leonie brings it to the guests. The family orders three pizzas and one pasta with tomato sauce. Rudolf has already prepared the dough for the pizza. He tops the pizza with ham, cheese and pepperoni. Then he puts them in the oven. That smells really delicious! After a while the food is ready. Rudolf hands the pizzas over to Leonie, who quickly runs with them to the guests. The pizza turned out particularly good today. The father of the family praises Rudolf for his cooking skills. He will recommend the restaurant to his friends. When everyone has eaten, Leonie brings the bill to the table. Because the food was so delicious, there is a generous tip. Rudolf is happy. The family says goodbye and leaves the restaurant. But there is no time to rest. The next guests have already entered the store. Leonie takes the orders and Rudolf goes back to the kitchen. Owning a restaurant is sometimes very stressful, but it is also a lot of fun. Job as a journalist Klaus didn't study journalism, but he loves writing. But he also loves science. That's why he studied chemistry and finished it two years ago. Since then he has tried to work in science journalism. This is the perfect combination of science and writing. But working as a journalist is not that easy! Klaus has n't gotten a permanent job yet. He worked for a magazine for free for six months. Only then did other newspapers pay him for his articles. Plus, it's often tiring. Last week a newspaper called him: “Can you write us an article on the topic of sustainable sunscreen by this evening?” Klaus immediately sat down at his desk. He stared into the computer until his eyes were square. He only sent the article to the newspaper at 11 at night. But they liked him. So it's a really tiring job. But what should Klaus do? He just really wants to be a journalist! In this way, he can help people better understand science. This means that less fake news spreads. This is very important for Klaus. Everyone is invited Emily goes to the children at the playground. “Can I play too?” she asks the children and points to the sandpit. There are lots of colorful toys in there. A boy looks at her and says, “No.” He goes back to the other children. This makes Emily sad. She wants to go with them too children play. She sits on the swing and looks at the sandpit. “Why are they so mean?” she thinks. Two boys and two girls play with a shovel, an excavator and a bucket. They laugh and have a lot of fun. Emily's mom discovers the sad girl. “What’s wrong?” she asks. Disappointed, Emily says she isn't allowed to play. Mom has an idea. “Then play something fun alone. Then the others want to play along too,” she explains. “You’re right,” Emily says, thinking. What can she do? The little girl takes a shovel and makes a small hole in the ground at the edge of the playground. She fills the hole with the water hose . She made a small pool. Emily is very proud of it. She sits in the pool and plays with a plastic dinosaur. Suddenly a girl comes to her from the sandpit. “Can I come in too?” she asks. Emily smiles. Your plan is working. “Sure,” she says. The girl also comes into the pool. After a few moments, the last girl and a boy come to her. They both sat down in the pool. Now there is only one boy left in the sandbox. It's the boy who was mean to Emily. He looks at the children in the small pool. He goes to them and asks quietly: “Emily, can I go into the pool too?” Emily thinks about it. “There is no more room in the pool,” she says. The sad boy turns around and wants to go back to the sandpit. “Wait,” Emily says, “we can make the pool bigger. Everyone is invited.” Stand-up paddling I put the stand-up paddling on the lake, then I carefully sat on it. My friend gave me the paddle. The water was very cold. But that was good because it was very hot in the sun. We were on the Alster in Hamburg, which is a river. The water is very calm, so stand-up paddling is easy. I 've never been here before, but my friend said it's very nice. It was very nice here. We were in a park, the river was wide and there were lots of trees and meadows. I stood up. It was only my third time stand-up paddling and I still had little practice. I wobbled back and forth, afraid of falling into the water. But no! I was lucky. We paddled a bit. Soon we were no longer in the park. There were many houses by the river . Some were small and had wild gardens. Others were big. Most of the houses were beautiful and the path was very impressive. At the end we arrived at a pond. It was very hot, so we jumped into the water. Then we went stand-up paddling in the sun. That was a nice trip! Street beggar The woman is about 35 years old and her clothes are broken. Her thick coat has holes in it and she is shivering because it is so cold. In front of the supermarket she sits on his sleeping bag and her hat is on the floor in front of her. It is filled with coins. “What will she buy with it?” Emanuela asks herself as she enters the supermarket. She doesn't have much time because she has to be at a party in 20 minutes. She gets six bottles of beer. She also takes two packs of chips. Then she has an idea and looks at the clock: Emanuela still has enough time for her plan. She quickly packs the other things into her basket. As she leaves the supermarket, she sees the street beggar. “Are you hungry?” Emanuela asks the strange woman. She looks up from the street in surprise. She nods slowly. Then Emanuela gives the beggar a bottle of apple juice and two rolls with cheese. Suddenly the stranger starts laughing. She jumps up happily and shouts loudly, “I have food!” Then she puts her hand on my shoulder. "Thanks! Thanks! I was so hungry,” she tells me, her eyes full of tears. Emanuel also almost begins to cry. She is happy that she was able to help the beggar! Early riser Lara's alarm clock rings for the tenth time. She gets up tired. Already 10 o'clock?! Oh man. She actually wanted to go to the gym at 7 a.m. this morning. She can forget that now. Annoyed, she goes into the kitchen. Your roommate Tim is sitting at the dining table drinking coffee. "Morning!", he says in a good mood. “Morning,” Lara murmurs. “What’s going on?” asks Tim. “I overslept again . I actually wanted to get up early, but I just can't do it!" Lara explains sadly. Tim nods slowly. “How long have you been awake?” Lara asks him. “Since 6 a.m..” Lara is surprised. “I didn’t know you were an early riser!” she says. Lara also sits down at the dining table and pours herself a cup of coffee. “How do you always manage to get up so early?” she asks Tim. “Hmm… I really like the quiet in the early morning. Of course you have to go to sleep earlier than you do,” says Tim. Lara sighs. “But I’m a night owl! “I can’t go to sleep earlier.” Tim says. “Well. You can’t get everything.” Lara has to laugh. "True. But I still want to try to get up earlier. Do you have any tips?” she asks. Tim thinks for a moment. Then he says: “First, I suggest going to bed an hour earlier than usual. And then you can set your alarm an hour earlier. “ That way you can slowly get used to it.” Lisa nods. “That makes sense.” “Second, put your alarm clock far away from your bed! Then you have to get up when the doorbell rings. So you'll be on your feet straight away! And my final tip is to have a morning routine that you can look forward to. Drink coffee, for example.” Tim takes a small sip of his coffee. Lisa smiles. “Thanks, Tim! These are really helpful tips that I will try! Who knows? Maybe in two weeks I’ll be an early riser too?” Tim and Lisa laugh. Hello, my name is Sandra Klement and I am 29 years old. I come from beautiful Swabia. I will soon be 30 years old. Then the beautiful 1920s are over. I used to think that by the time I was 30, I would be living in a house with my husband and children. That definitely didn't come true. But I'm not unhappy, on the contrary! I enjoy every moment of freedom. I travel a lot and am in a different place every week. I inherited a small motorhome from my grandfather, which I have been using for three years. I travel all over Europe. I'm currently living in Norway, but I'll be heading south again soon. It's really expensive in Norway. My next big goal is Croatia. I've been there before with a few friends and I really liked it. How long will I continue like this? I don't know it. But probably until it's no fun anymore.
