What's up? What's up? I just love how you order so many packages online, but don't open them. I would love to become like the CEO of the diplomat like the like the best diplomat like who controls everything. Just like but she's not even modeling. She's just like, "What do we love about Anna?" No, it's because we have so many Sim, what are you doing right now? And she's like, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. [Music] [Applause] It's the Tach Show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Tbach Show. Today we are joined by some incredibly talented new friends that I have the pleasure of meeting for the first time today. Please give it up a big warm welcome to Meows. [Music] Hello. Please introduce yourselves. Okay. Hello. I'm Ken of Meow. Hello. I'm Ella of Meow. Hi, I'm Nadin and I'm so excited to be here show. Yay. All right. So, quick I got a question. So, I've been I've been told recently that a lot of groups don't have like a group in anymore. Do you guys have one or no? No, we don't. You don't. You don't have like some thing that So, it's outdated. Imagine, you know. Okay. So, this is news to me. Um, but yeah, thanks for coming y'all. So excited to have you here on the TE show. So excited. Um, have you watched anything from Dive Studios or TEBA show before? Yes, Tbach show. Thank you. What do you remember? Anything that you watched that like stuck out to you? I watched the Tbach show with Chijoni. Me too. And Okay. I saw the one from like a few years back with Audrey Nuna and W. Wow. Those were some throwback episodes. Um, but thank you for thank you for watching. How about Ella? Anything that you watched on Dive Studios at all by chance? I also watched the one with Tiselle. Oh, you did? Yes, we watched it together. Oh, you did? Awesome. Well, thanks for coming to the TE box show. Super excited to have you. Um, welcome. You guys are God, you guys debuted in September. Yes. 2024. Yes. So, you guys are still just fresh rookies. Yes. In the best way. Um, and so we're going to get to know the three of you uh today and your group as best as we possibly can. Now, in case y'all don't know, uh, Meow is under Black Label where your I guess chief producer is Teddy. Yes. Um, who everybody I'm sure knows. If you're in K-pop and you don't know Teddy, I don't even want to explain it. You should go do your research. You That is on you. That is your fault for not knowing a legend. Okay. Uh, don't just turn this. Actually, no, just like watch a few more minutes and then come back once you know who Teddy is. Um, but let's get into Meow. So, Meow, tell me about the group name. Why Meow and why is it spelled with two V's and all the things? Should I? Yes. Yes. We're so new to this. Yeah, it's okay. Um, so yeah, it's an acronym for my eyes open wide. And the reason there's two V's is because it makes a W first of all and um that way there's five letters in the group name and we have five members and um for the meaning behind the team name there are a couple because we put in a lot of thought into it but um I think the most important one I would say is that um you know it's like an anomatopia at the end of the day. It's like the sound a cat makes. And we are artists and we communicate through sound. So we thought it would be meaningful to let ourselves be known as and like let our make ourselves known with a sound. Awesome. So yeah. Meow. Meow. Meow. I when I first heard the name I was like that's such an interesting choice. But now it just feels so right and it feels good and I'm and everybody everybody knows the word meow. Yeah. So, uh, it's easy. Yeah, I think you guys accomplished that with the name. Um, you guys debuted with your single, Meow, and then you had your second single, Toxic, and then you recently announced your fandom name. We did. We did. Could you please share with new fans and current fans what your fandom name is? What's up? What's up? So, nonsense. You guys don't I don't I feel like you guys are This is very new to you guys with that. What's up? Pom poms. Pom poms. Could you share with us pom pom? What does pom pom mean? Why pom pom? Of all the things that you could have done that are potentially meow or catreated. Why pom pom? Yeah. So, um it took us a while to think of this name because we just really wanted like the best name for our fans because they deserve the best. So um while we were thinking like everyone was pitching in ideas and we had this whole like we had this like whole company involvement we had so many meetings about it and um I just one day I was like thinking about it as I do 24/7 and I was just thinking of just pretty pretty words and they're if I think pretty words I think French words and but I don't know a lot of French but I I remember that I had like this pajama Uhhuh. shirt I think that I really loved when I was a kid and it said pum pum like like apple like apple on it. And I realized that if I could like play on it with the paw like the word paw and there's also the saying with apple of my eye. Yeah. So like so very very thoughtful. Yes. So many thoughts. It turned out that way. Okay. Yeah. Well, we I'm sure the fans love it and uh I'm sure they appreciate how thoughtful it was for you guys to come up with that name. And Ella, does like does she have a lot of thoughts in general? Do I? Sometimes I feel like she has a lot of thoughts and then sometimes there's just nothing. There's just nothing. There's nothing. There's just nothing. But I'm really grateful that she thinks a lot because she's like our mother of the group. I think of her as our mother because she's just so mom vibes. I think of her as oppa of the group. I reject that. So as the ma you strongly reject it. Well, it feels very Ma here. Like ma. Yeah. Like and ma going on. I like ma. If you don't like it, we'll change it to something else. I'm I'm not sure. Just one for now. All right. I apologize. Um, okay. We're going to get into each one of your stories briefly. Um, because I don't know you and I don't think a lot of, you know, some of you newer fans may know you. So, I'm going to ask you some individual questions and we'll go into some group questions if that's okay with y'all. Okay. Cool. All right. So, starting with Kawan. Oh, Ewan aka Chloe Lee. MBT I N TJ. She does not yet have a nickname apparently. Now you guys, look, I'm totally cool with with giving you that and you guys can do with it what you want. You guys can discuss. But wait, so you don't have any nicknames from fans or from your team or growing up at all or not ones that have like stuck. Okay, so still looking for one. We're everybody, we are actively looking for a nickname. Throw it in the comments. Okay, uh let's see. Favorite artist, The Strokes, Rihanna, Tay Paula, Frank Ocean. very eclectic group of of musicians. But I'm curious, when did you Well, first, where are you from? I'm from New Jersey. You're from New Jersey. You're a Jersey girl. What part of Jersey? Edgewater. Edgewater. Okay. And then how did you end up in Korea? I want to know the story. Um, we just came here because of my parents and the rest of our um other relatives were here. So, that was just a natural process. And um I continued to go to international school here. So um English stuck with me and it was more comfortable. I think it's still probably a little more comfortable than Korean because my Korean was horrible when I first joined the company and that was my first experience in like a workplace but it's also at such a young age. So um yeah I think it improved in that environment and um regarding how I started um I was in middle school I think and given the international school environment it's very studious and very competitive heard it's intense academically so everyone was already thinking about what they want to do like their career paths um and I was just like what should I do and um nothing really like spoke to me any of like the ideas that I had and um by chance I had really really great opportunities. So um I that's how I got into the Black Label. Got it. So I'm assuming you auditioned. Yes. Okay. Do you remember your audition song? I sang Teenage Fantasy by Georgia Smith. Ah and another L song. Wow. Okay. You don't. So deep into the R&B. Yes, I was very R&B heavy. Amazing. How long were you a trainee? Uh, a good five years, I think. Wow, that's a that's a long time. Training is I wish I had trained. Oh, you didn't? No, I didn't train, guys. Oh, wow. I was just He's just born. No, no, no. They were just like survive. And I was like, save me. Oh my god. That was that was my survival story. Um, what was it like being a trainee? and and I feel like it's it's a long process. It can't be easy. Um probably for all of you. Um what was like the hardest thing for you to kind of wrap your head around as a trainee? Um at first I think it was just the difficulty with language and culture and social cues that aren't as prominent in American culture. But um I think those came with time. And regarding like the training process, I don't it was really fun for me because for me I'm the type of person who fell in love with this like the idea of this job while training like during the training process. So it was really all enjoyable for me. Got it. And your parents were cool with you doing this supportive. I mean, parents, they all have their concerns at first, but I think I just kept reassuring them and I think they just like seeing me so happy and like so into it, they just supported and they were like, "Oh, nice." Awesome. Okay, next up we're going to ask Ella. Ella, how are you doing, Ella? I'm so great right now. Yeah. So, Ella, let's let's talk about it. Where are you from? You said you're not Korean. Are you half Korean? I'm half. You're half Korean. Okay. And you're from the States? I'm from California. California. What part? LA. Like 30 minutes north. So, Westlake Village area. Oh, okay. Nice. Amazing. And when did you move to Korea? A year and a half ago. Wait, what? So, you're brand new here? I'm brand new. How has it been? It's It's fun. Oh, wow. That was a lot of It's fun. side eye. Uh, I'm sure it's a lot. I'm sure it's overwhelming. When I first came, I was really shocked by just how different everything is. Just the language too and just this, like you were saying, the social cues are really different. And it was a lot of getting used to that when I first came. But luckily when I came to become a trainee Mhm. I had a but they spoke English really well and they just helped me learn a lot. Mhm. I think it would have been much harder if they weren't there. Yeah. Because I don't know, Korean's hard. Korean is hard. Korean is hard. But we believe in you. You're gonna be fine. You're gonna do just fine. Um but how So you moved here a year and a half ago. Is that when you started training? That's when I started training consistently. Okay. So, when I was younger, I would model and act. And then when I was about 9 years old, I got called by the company to come and kind of just see around because I wanted to be like an actress. So, I was going to do it with them. And then I meet Teddy Pinim. And then I when I was really young, I would record songs just for fun. And then I kind of the first song I recorded with him was Creep by Radio Head. So I kind of think of that as like my audition song. And then about a year and a half ago, they want me to come as an actual traininee to practice to be in a group to sing. And then when I was growing up, I've always loved music and I've always loved musicals in particular. So when I would do maybe auditions for that, I would have to send videos of me singing. Right. So that's when I kind of started practicing singing and yeah, that's how I came. Amazing. Favorite musical? Hamilton. Hamilton. Have you seen it in person? Yes. Where'd you watch it? New York. New York on Broadway. Amazing. I watched it in London. And it was like it's cheaper. It's British. Well, it's cheaper in London. I promise. Because they don't do the ticket scalping in London, so it's much cheaper. I promise. Yeah. Ella, another fun fact about you is you enjoy watching MMA. Is this true? It is true. Explain. When I was younger, my dad would take me to a lot of like boxing shows or MMA because when I was younger, my brother would have a lot of phases like he would go through a car phase, a boxing phase, like a football phase. Mhm. When I was about 10, he was in his boxing phase, like really deep into all the Rocky stuff, all the Creed movies. So, he would force my dad to get tickets to watch boxing games. But I actually did MMA a lot starting when I was like 7 years old. Yourself? Yeah. Oh, wow. That's intense. It was fun. Really? Yeah. I watch it and I'm like, that must hurt so much. Yeah. But you're like, I'm down with it. Yeah. I'm just I'm rock I rock with that vibe. Okay. Because that's how sometimes I feel internally and I I just really admire the people who have the courage to go up there. Yeah. Just fight. I like how they push through. It's very positive thinking, the perseverance. Positive thinking and the endurance, the optimism from Ella is incredible. We love this. Yes. Um, so we know that you also started as a a model and a child actress when you were younger. Uh, but your parents, were they always supportive of you being in front of camera, also becoming an idol? Um, when I was really young, I went to go to a few shoots just because they I honestly don't really know how I It just happened. It just happened and I was just there. Yeah. But when I was younger, I was really shy. So, I would never talk to anyone. I would never try to make new friends. I would only hang out with my dad. Mhm. So when I would go to these shoots and just stand in front of a camera, it's when I felt most comfortable really weirdly. Wow. So I don't know. I was just kind of a different person, more extroverted and more outgoing. So I just loved being in front of a camera ever since I was young. So my mom would come to these shoots and she would see how happy I was. So just ever since I was young, she was always okay with it because she knew it was what I wanted to do. Mhm. So, and then about 2 years ago when they first asked me to come to Korea to train, my brother actually told me that if I don't come, it's like dumb to waste this opportunity. I was like, "Oh, okay. Thank you for your opinion." So, I came just to try. Yeah. And then I just fell in love with it. Amazing. Well, we're glad that you made it out here. Um, okay. Okay. And then last for you, personal question is you are the youngest of the group. Mang. You are the mang. Yes. Uh which is also a very Korean cultural thing. Yes. How has being manga been for you? And is there anything that you would want to say to your unies? Oh. Listening. But growing up, I've always wanted older sisters. Uh-huh. And now you have four. And now I have four. So I love it. Okay. And I can act as childless as I want. And I have an excuse. Throw all her tantrums. I can throw all my tantrums. And I can whine all I want. Yeah. I guess I should ask the audience. How is she as a mangn? She's the best manga ever. Is she the mang? She's so m Thanks. I'm assuming that's a great thing. It's a positive thing. In the best way possible. In the best way possible. Um. All right. Well, Ella, thank you for for letting us know a little bit more about yourself personally. Uh, next we're going to ask Nadian. Nadian, hello. Hi. How are you? Thank you for being so patient as we go through these. You're doing well. Yeah. Okay, Nadian, please, we are we we need to know your English. Where are you from? I'm from Korea. You're from Korea. How is your English so incredibly good? Thanks. Yeah. I mean, I just studied English since I was really young and it's just I don't know. It just happened naturally. You just got the vibe. I just got the vibe. Oh, that's amazing. A lot of people would kill for the vibe. They just don't But you got it. Yeah, I I got it. Uh, so where where are you from? Seoul or what part of Korea you from? Yes, I'm from Seoul. You're from Soul. Okay. And then siblings, parents, all here? I have younger brother. Mhm. and he's in America actually. Oh, he's studying there. Um, okay. So, Nadin, you are born in ' 07 ENFP. Yes. And I'm INFP. Oh, so some similarity there. Uh, you seem to have a routine, a daily routine. Yes. You keep this every day. Yes. Okay. It's drink water in the morning, meditate, stretch, get a ab workout, and take care of your house plants. Yes. Like um like the guy from Tik Tok, Ashton. Ashton. Ashton Hall like him. Do you know him? I don't. Wait, do I know? You know the iconic blue bottle. He has this blue bottle and he wakes up at like 3:00 a.m. each morning. He uses mouth tape and the first time I saw that video, I sent it to her and I'm like, "This is literally you." She wakes up at the same time every morning. Really? Yeah. What time do you wake up? Like 7. Every day? Yes. Without an alarm. Even if you like spent all night up working. Yeah. Props to you. Oh, thanks. Big props to you. Got it. Um, tell us about how you became a member of Meow and joined Black Label. So, when I was younger, I actually wanted to become a diplomat. Wow. Because I actually enjoyed studying and I felt like it's really cool to become a diplomat. Yeah. But then one day I ended up auditioning for the Black Label and I remember walking into the audition room and seeing this um the black label on the wall written on the wall and I was like, "Oh, this is really cool." Mhm. This the black label. This is so cool. And I was just like, "Oh, I have to do this." Just from the black lab, you're just like, "This is it." It just gave me the vibe. She got the vibe again. I got the vibe. This girl is all about vibes. That's it. It's all about vibes in the best way. Um, so how long were you a traininee? Uh, like four years. Okay, got it. And what was it like for you training? I feel like a lot of people outside of Korea think of training as like it's like not that it's easy, but they kind of perceive it in like a negative way when I actually think in sometime in some ways you really get to hone in your skills in a in a really good way. But I'm just curious, how was training process for you? Everything was so new to me. like it was my first training experience and everything was so new but at the same time it was what exactly what I wanted to do so it was really fun and I feel like the black label is such a musicoriented place so I really love that I was always like surrounded by good musics and I was so inspired by all of them so yeah I had fun was there ever a moment I guess this is kind of for all of you because I feel any season of life, we have moments we're like, I don't know if I could do this anymore. I just got yelled at or I this did not work out. Like were there ever moments where you're like I don't think this is for me. I think I need to quit. Was there Did you ever have that? Not quit. Uhhuh. But when I first started um training, everything was so new to me. And it was my first time learning hip-hop dance. Uhhuh. So I remember just repeating this um basic routine. Yes. Like bounce like up down. Yeah. And it's I was just doing it over and over again and I'm like when am I stop bouncing? When can I stop this bouncing thing? I completely feel you. When I I when I So I moved to Korea. I was on a TV show and part of the TV show they're like you're going to get basic dance training and we just did Up Down for like 2 days. Oh my god. And we could not walk. Like it's this thing where literally you just do this for hours. Like hours. I'm I'm not even making this up. It's just this. It's small variations, but just it's just this and then the opposite. Yeah. Well, and then up and down and then triple. It's crazy. Non-stop insane. I got heated talking about it, but I I remember that I was like, I don't know if I can do this anymore. So, I damn and I like couldn't speak Kore. I was like, I don't like this. Um, but I feel you on that. Did you guys have anything that was very difficult as well for you training? The first winter of being here, I've never understood like seasonal depression vibes. Oh, yeah. Oh, but it just got so cold and so gloomy. It was overcast every day. And then it's just like the training is especially at our label, we're all about putting in our own ideas and um really finding our own colors, especially while we were training. And then I don't know one day after practicing it was just so hard just the entire the all the environment and that I think that was like you're like I don't know I was like guys our Monday this is hard and the next day I was fine okay okay I just had a little moment like a drama queen moment totally but I feel like we all have our moments we all have our moments yeah absolutely but that's you bring up a very interesting point where you said that your your training process required a lot of input from you guys, which I think is a little bit different from what I've always perceived as a traditional training process. You know, even when I get asked to help on certain projects, it's like we're just going to tell them what to do, right? Whereas it seems like you guys have a lot more even when it comes to building the fandom name or whatever, a lot of input from yourselves. Is that pretty accurate to say or? Very very accurate. That's amazing. Is that encouraged by Teddy or just everybody? It's like a It's just the black label. Just the entire company. We love the black label. It's just everyone, but especially Teddy Ping. Whenever we before we do any sort of music video shoot or photo shoot, anything, he's like, "Don't stop filming until you're happy with it." Whatever we put out it, you have to be satisfied. Has to be like up to your standards. See, it's a very creative space, the company. Well, I think it's I think it's great. And I know this is suddenly just getting serious, but it's uh it's great because so much of the perception about K-pop is like it's just a factory. Are they even creative? And that it's easy for people to critique K-pop artists. But to hear like from yourselves and your experiences that you're actually getting to input a lot of your thoughts and ideas and emotions and your inspirations, that's like a really I think a great thing to hear. Um but back to nodding real quick. You wanted to be a diplomat. Yes. If you were to be a diplomat, what kind of diplomat and where would you want what would you have wanted to do as a diplomat? Oh my god. Did you think about that? I would love to become like the CEO of the diplomat like the like the best diplomat like who controls everything. Okay. Just like So it sounds like you're just power hungry. No kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Um, but what what is it about being a diplomat that was like that drew you? Is it about working with other people? About, you know, I was just interested in languages. Oh, so I was actually um preparing for this Japanese test called JP and I just fell in love with languages. Got it. I just got the vibe. I mean, you're clearly vibing very hard with the English and the Korean and the Japanese. Uh, are you fluent in Japanese? Yeah, I got the B. That's wild. How about How about y'all? Are you all fluent in Japanese at all? Uh, not fluent yet. Working on it. You're working on it. Working on it. Ella's like working on it. I'm working on it. Um, but I also, it says here that you're studying Chinese as well. Yes, I recently stud um started studying Spanish and Chinese. See? Oh my gosh. Okay. But how do you See? Oh my god. You stay. No. Umito. Did you Did you study a second language at school at all? Espanol. Espanol. So, uh, that's amazing. Uh you guys are now debuted officially. It's been a little over six months, right? Um before you guys debuted, was there a goal or an image in your head of like this is the type of artist that we or I want to be? I know it's a little deeper of a question, but I'm very curious cuz I think everybody has a different motivation of wanting to become a singer or an idol, you know? So like I'm curious what was that motivation for each of you? I feel like I visualized my future myself who is in the best version of myself like the best artist in the world and I would always think about it and just manifest. Got it. That's great. Ella, anything for you? I think for me making music, I just want to put music out that I love and that I want other people to experience. So when we were working on our debut song and our second single, it was just a lot of hard work and thought into whether this is really what I want to portray ourselves as like an artist. Because in the recording studio, we have, like I said before, a lot of say in what we record and even lyrics. They're always pushing us to try to put uh write our own. So, I want other people to experience music that speaks to me and that what I love to do. Okay. Awesome. Yeah. I think a lot of a lot of it is about shared vision as well because I think that's what makes our team work. like we always talk about um what we want to achieve and um just values that we hold close to Meow. Mhm. So even with our like artistry, we're always having we're on the same page. Mhm. Got it. Um, talking about Meow, there are obviously two other members who are not here with us today sadly, but could you please share with us who they are and what you love the most about them? Wow. Okay, let's start with our M Kim. Are you watching? Her name is Suin, but we call her Swim Kim because it's so much fun. It's so much fun. Does she like it? I love calling her that. Yeah. Yeah. She just goes by Swim Kim now. Okay. Swim Kim. What do we love about Swim, Kim? Not in anything you want to say to Swim. Anything you love about her? She's the best dancer. Yeah. Uhhuh. And she's really She's not Modern though. Yes, she is. She's not Modern vibe, though. Oh, the vibe. I don't get the vibe. Oh, yeah. This girl is all about vibe. I don't get the Modern vibe. Who's the Madi vibe? No one. No, nobody. We're all the same age. But she's like, I'll take it. But she's not even Modi. She's just like I know she's not moni like emo ma vibe. And I also love how swim cannot swim. Yeah. But her name is Swim Kim. Yeah. It's I think it's iconic. Iconic. Swim is iconic. I hope she never loses. Yeah. I hope she never learns. No, but she's like a very bright bright member. Lots of good energy with our dance practices. Yeah. Got it. We love you, Swim, Kim. We love you, Swim. Swim only. I just love how you order so many packages online, but don't open them. Wow. And leave them on our dining room table. Thank you so much. We appreciate you for that. That's so nice. Okay. And then the other member, please introduce. And what do we love about her? Anna. Ana J. Anna Jang. Anna Jang. Anna Jang. Please tell us about Anna. What do we love about Anna? No, it's because we have so many. There's so many. I promise you guys. The pause is because they love her. So much love. They're thinking about the list. So many things of the love. So, give us the love list. First of all, yeah, I love how you always laugh at my jokes. Okay. But she laughs like really quietly. She's very soft spoken. She's like, but just with cameras when she's with us and it's like she It's very loud. Really? I feel like I saw that in the video that you guys just released. She's like, "I'm really loud. I'm really loud. Just I'm really loud." Yeah. And I was like, "What?" The loudest. So she's she's loud. She laughs at your jokes. Okay. What are her other incredible qualities? Oh my, she's like she's like tofu. What? Tofu. Okay, so it's like you know like not just tofu but like stew tofu like Okay. So like so like you think tubu it's very soft and very like bubbly and just quiet. But um like even her gestures, they're all like very very put. Uhhuh. But when it's like time to lock in, she's she's firm. Like the firm tofu. Yeah. Like the the hardy tofu. Not not sundubu. Not sundu no tough tofu. I've never in my life heard anybody compare someone to tofu. That's She is tofu. She is tofu. Anna is tofu. I didn't say it. She said it. We love you. Tofu tofu. Tofu. Tofu. Uh, anything you want to say about Anna? Ella, what did they say? I just love you so much and I can't wait to see you later for dance practice. See, I have no idea what they said and I'm just going to assume that it was very positive and in the best way. I'm going to assume it was. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, Anna, Miss Tofu, next time we will we'll see you very very soon. Um, okay. So, you guys are living in a dorm. You guys have mentioned somebody is ordering a lot of packages. So, I got to ask the rule the the rules of the dorm, right? Are there rules that you have to keep and who's breaking them all? We need rules. Maybe that's the problem. I don't think we have You don't have rules. Do are you guys all roommates or is everybody has their own room? What's going on? Um, everyone has their own room except me and Mary. Okay. So, you guys are sharing? Yes. And you guys get along great as roommates. Yes. Look away. Tell me the truth. We're super compatible. Okay, got it. That's amazing. They're compatible because she wakes up when she goes to sleep. Wait, what? But then Yeah, she just goes to bed so late. Yeah. Like when I wake up. It's getting better. You're going to bed at like 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. Not these days. Not anymore. It's like 5:00. No, like 4:00. No, I literally three. No, I'm like lessening it down to like 1:00. I fell asleep at like two yesterday. Great. And then what time are you up? I don't know. Like 11. Okay. It depends. If I don't have to wake up, I just probably won't. So, you're getting like at least 8 hours like if you're not having to get up. If the schedule allows me. Got it. So, you I'm assuming you don't have a routine. Not like a timed like Got it. All right. So, but you would love for her to go to bed a little earlier for your health. Yes. For my health. It's very important. It is. I miss you, Ella. I know. I miss you, too. It's kind of lonely. I know. Because because we used to be Yeah. And then we moved. Oh, okay. So, you used to be roommates. Yeah. And we were really good. It was really good. You I got the vibe. I know. Me, too. Kwan, how are you feeling right now? Okay. I feel like we need to have an intervention real quick. All right. Somebody p me pinched this like the Mari Povich show. Kwan, tell us what's going on here. Um, I really don't know because when we moved to our new dorm, we were trying out, we were seeing who could be roommates and we were trying out combinations like talking about share routine and because I think I deserve my own room. Wow. Wow. So, really, who is at fault here? So unappreciative of the separation from her unies. defend yourself. I am appreciative. I love my own room and I love my own space where I can watch my cartoons in peace. Got it. So, she loves it. So, Nadine, as the one member who is room with both of them, how are you feeling right now? What is the vibe? Tell us the vibe. Okay. So, with Ella, yeah, we woke up at the same time. Yes. Uh-huh. For the schedule and everything. And we would use this um rock alarms with this rock vibes like rock music rock and roll metal. So we would always like wake up and then we would wake up together with our mouth tape and we were like wake up and then we would just wake up and it was really good because we got her 8 hours of sleep. Uh-huh. With the mouth tape, with the rock and roll, all that stuff. Right now, the vibe is not vibing, though. Right now, when I go to bed, she's not here. I'll try to sleep with you. Yes. At the same time. Yes. Please try. I will. And wake up at the same time. Okay. Thank you for joining us on this episode of Judge Eric. Next episode, we'll see if we can resolve this through therapy. Um, couples therapy. Couples therapy. Yes. I feel like we should have a very special segment called couples therapy for the two of you. Um, okay. But tell us about the the rest of the dorm. What's going on? Clearly, it's there's a lot of boxes going on. Somebody's not going to bed at a normal hour. Everything else is pretty good. Anything funny, dramatic happening in the dorm, or is everything pretty much at peace otherwise? Okay. So, Swim Kim, yeah. Is the reason she's going to bed at like 5 a.m.? Swim. She is. Wow. Swim being called out, dragged into the courtroom. Tell us about Swim. What is she doing? It's called to testify. Testify now. Yes. One day. Yeah. I woke up and I went to the kitchen. Mhm. To drink my water. What happened? And Swim Kim was there with boxes and cookies. Oh my god. Cookies. Yes. And she was baking. Oh my god. Baking. At 700 a.m. This is crazy. I know. And I was like, Sim, what are you doing right now? And she's like, And I was like, "Did you not sleep?" And she's like, "I'm baking." Explain. I don't get the vibe. And then was she there? She was just like, "Yeah, we're baking." I was totally asleep at that point. I was asleep. Yeah. Ever since then? Yes. Ever since then, she started inviting. Oh my gosh. Okay. Okay. Well, for the balance of the dorm, I hope that you all get nice sleep. Well, we get along great. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Also, we're joking, guys. Yeah. In case you can't tell, this is all a joke. Um, okay. Well, I wish you prolonged peace uh in the dorm. And I wish you uh great sleep and less boxes. Yes. More cookies. I love cookies. She makes really good cookies. She's She's really good at baking. It doesn't even be done then. Yeah. Yeah, it doesn't it could be done that at like I don't know noon. Yeah. 8:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. any other time. All right. I need to ask you about your debut. You guys debuted September 6th, 2024, and it your memories must still be very vivid from your debuts. Walk us through your debut. What was going through your head? Where was it and how was it for you guys? And it's a very open-ended question. Do you remember where it happened? It was all a blur. It's all a blur. Wow. It was like a fever dream. Yes. Was it umong or was it like a showcase? We had one pre-recording which was our first pre-recording on stage for Mop. What's Npop? The neighbor. See, I'm so old, guys. I don't even know. You don't know NPOP? I don't know NPOP. I don't know. They make super cool stages. [Applause] They make really cool stages. Okay. All right. So, Mpop was your first. But, um, our first time performing with our fans in front of our fans was at M Countdown. Got it. How was that for you? That was crazy. It was crazy. Did you cry? No. No. You're just like, we're here. I was too happy to cry. Yeah. How did it feel? Like adrenaline was crazy. I felt like rushes that I've never felt before on stage. It was just like this surge of energy and yeah, I don't think I don't I'm not sure if I'll ever feel that again. It was like intense. This crazy adrenaline rush. But the problem with that feeling of adrenaline is when you have that and you try to dance, it looks crazy. It looks crazy. Why? It looks crazy. And I don't know how to explain or I don't even know. It felt like I was not moving. You know how Beyonce says she has like Sash Sasha fears? Mhm. That's how kind of It's like an alter ego, like a different person that just kind of comes alive. Got it. So, you had each of you had that kind of Got it. Amazing. It's hard to dance though when you're like Yeah. Absolutely. Oh my gosh, there's so many people right there. Yeah. And they're all watching. Um, was there did you find it hard to or how did the training work for just the camera? Because I feel like the camera is also a very specific part of Korean music shows. In case you don't know, when you're on these shows, there are so many cameras and then there are cameramen like flying and zipping around. There's this thing that's going up and down and then there's flashing red lights and you're always like me like where's the camera? And it's always and at the end it's the ending fairy. So it's literally like the jungle. Yeah, it it is. How was Did you guys practice for that or were you just kind of like make it up as we go? How do you even practice? Yeah, I don't know. I feel like you guys are I don't know. Maybe Black Label has like flashing red lights and just No, we just got there and we were briefed before about it and there's going to be a lot of red lights here and there. you have to be like looking for it and if you don't look at it, you're going to look stupid. And we're like, "Okay, got it." And we get there and but we um through the rehearsals they walk us through. So, it's fine. Okay. Yeah. Awesome. No major problems. I think we're getting the hang of it. Awesome. Amazing. Well, let's talk about the next comeback. So, tell us about this comeback. You have a new single out and then you have a new album, EP, something. Yes. What's going on? Okay. So, Hands Up, our Hands Up single. Okay. Should be out by now. Yeah. And our first EP album is coming very soon. Yes. Got it. Very like very soon. Very soon. Very, very soon. Okay. What can we look forward to on this EP? So, the song Hands Up is a Brazilian funk song style. It's very um fresh and new. Definitely nothing like any of our other songs. Okay. But I don't know. The main message of the song, one of the lyrics is crack the sky and put your hands up. Yeah. Break the like breaking the limit and yeah, it's just a very inspirational song. I think it's very fun. There's a lot of different elements of it and it's kind of like a roller coaster. Okay. Yeah. Um, how was the music video shoot for Hands Up? Oh, you have to watch the music video. Pause and go watch it and then come back. It was really fun. It was very unlike our other music videos. Um, very experimental. A few like um serious, not serious, but like just very zen. Yeah. Okay. A few zen moments here and there. small bits of seriousness into the plot and a play on like the lyrics. Yeah. Um some telekinesis and yeah, but fun. Okay. Well, look forward to You just need to watch it. You just need to watch. Everybody needs to go watch it and then look forward to the EP that is coming out soon. It's coming. It's coming. It's coming. So, we're going to do a thing so we can get to know all the members a little bit. I'm going to ask you a question and you just say most likely to something. Okay. If the person is here, we could point at them. If they're not, we could say their name. Okay. This is fun. All right. So, first one. I think I know this one. Most likely to wake up last in the morning. One, two, three. Swim. [Laughter] Swim. Hope you sleep well. Sleep tight. Um, who is the worst at hiding their feelings? Okay. One, two, three. Cuz her facial expressions are so I just can't I just can't not be real. That's That's right. You should come on our show. Get real. Get real. Get real. Please have me. What is your biggest pet peeve? Just like you have too much information. Oh, TMI. And you're like, "Please stop talking." But it's not like gross tmi because I'm kind of interested in that, you know? I want to know I want to know that stuff, but like when they just talk just like meaningless like like details that make no difference. Yes. Got it. Yes. Got it. How about do you guys have pet peeves or ick? Spelling errors or grammar errors, especially with English because Korean I don't really think I I have the right, but people spell my name incorrectly. My English name is Chloe. Yeah. How do they spell it? C H O L E. That's only since but it's like my entire life. No, in my entire life. Since from New Jersey sometimes to Korea. It's like I think it Do other Chloe's go through this? I I'm sure. Oh, maybe. But also, isn't ch like an Indian food? I think it is. I'm being serious. Look it up. See? Yeah. No, that looks really good. Say ch. Wait, let's try that. Look, this is what we're doing. We're all about cultural exchange here, guys. At the show. Oh, it's good. Oh, you've had it before. Yeah, it's good. Oh, wow. It's good. It's good. Cho. Chole. Please spell her name right. C H L O E. Anyways, Ch. Nadine, do you have a pet peeve? Anything that really annoys you? Really? Just her going to bed at 7 a.m.? Yeah. Oh, yes. Okay, got it. It's not the vibe. It's not the vibe. It's not the vibe, is it? Uh, all right. Next one. Who most like who is most likely to cry while watching a drama or movie? Okay. Drama. One, two, three. Me. That was all different, right? Yeah. How long? And who? You said swim. Me. Yeah, because you were literally talking about it. Yesterday it was like the first time in like I don't know how many years I I cried watching a K drama. Oh, that was the first. It was like the first time in which one? It's so good when left Tangerines with Aou and and Pam. Yeah. She told me she watched she cried watching the first episode. It was so sad. And I didn't cry until yesterday. Yeah. It's like the last few episodes and something just happened and I was Don't Don't say it. Don't say it. I won't I won't. I hate spoilers. Okay. I was watching it with my mom, too. Guys, highly recommended. Yes. Um, you said, did you say swim? Yes. Oh, we both said swim. Oh, you both said Oh, wait. No, I said you. Never mind. Oh, do you cry when you watch movies or dramas? Yeah, when it's sad. Okay, dumb question. Duh. When it's sad. When it's sad. Okay, last one. Who would survive a zombie apocalypse? Who would survive a zombie apocalypse? One, two, three. I'm not. She would definitely survive. Really? Yes. Because I feel like she would be very quiet. Oh, wait. What kind of zombies are we talking about? Like the fast Do they run like train to pan zombies? They all run or like No, but Walking Dead is like they're walking. Well, they they start running when they catch people. E, so they run. So they run. Yeah, zombies can run. Daddy, who are you thinking? Zombie apocalypse. I feel like we would all all survive. All of us. Yeah. Okay, but then who would be the first to not survive? But I feel like swimming would definitely survive because she's going to sleep for like 48 hours. She'd sleep and she's super athletic. Oh, so I think both of those can help her. Got it. Okay, fair. So perhaps it's swim. And she has all her her boxes to protect her. So she build a fort or something. So you build a fort with her. So it's her cuz she's sleeping or Anna cuz she's tofu. Yeah, zombies don't eat tofu, right? No, they eat humans. They don't eat tofu. So, Got it. [Music] So, we're going to play a quick game. The first one, the first game is called the liar game. One player called the liar gets a different word from everyone else and tries not to get caught. The others work to figure out who the liar is. Okay. Okay. So, we all say one thing about the word that doesn't use the word. Who wants to go first? I'll go first. Yay. Yay. It's so round. Oh, okay. You have to be vague. Thanks for telling. I will be vague. It's not in the room with us. How do you know that it's not in the room? You got the vibes with us. How do you know that? How do you know that? I know. I got the vibes, guys. How? It's very bright. Oh, it's very bright. It's very bright. Nine. It's very energetic. Very energetic. Okay. It's so uh sporty, I guess. So sporty. I don't like it. Oh, you don't like it? I don't like it. That's mean. Get this tattoo, dude. Wow. So mean. I just want to I just want to hit it. It gives me this summer vibes. I know we're on the same page, but I don't know about these two. Who do you think about? What is this? 3 2 1 [Music] I think it's only two votes for Lynn. You're pointing to what? What? Why? I knew you thought I was lying. I literally called it. I love Why do you think I'm the liar? Because the first thing energetic just doesn't make sense. Energetic. Yes. It doesn't make sense. It makes so much sense to me. It makes sense. Yeah. It's so energetic. Yeah. And that's why it's sporty. Look, it's got one on me. It's one of the two of them. Okay. It's her. Wait, but she said it's literally just here. I know. You said it's She said it's bright. And I was like bright. What's bright? What's bright? Ella, tell us what's so bright. The thing itself is tell us what the thing is. When it's new. Huh? When it's new, it's bright. What? Wait. What did Colin say? It's not in the room with us. Oh, but I feel like it would be because this room and you don't like it. Wait, is it Ella? What is Can Okay, tell us what the what the the thing is. Can I tell you what it is? Yeah, tell me what it is. Am I allowed to? Yeah. Yeah, tell us what it is. It's a volleyball. What? It's calling on me though. It was a volleyball. That was your word. Promo it like this because I was nervous. It was between the two of you. Liar and then liar. I need it was between the two of you. Ella, why did you think I'm the liar? Because energetic just didn't make sense to me. But when you said it's summer vibes, I was like, "Oh." And then I forgot what I was thinking, so I just Wow. Wow. That was good. That's great. Yeah. It's so stressful. Wow. You go to Chinese restaurant. Wow. Wow. That was aggressive. Okay. Okay. Who wants to go? I'll go first. Go for it. It's good. Wow. It is. I agree. It's tasty. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. It's easy. Oh. Uh, okay. [Music] It's creamy. Sometimes it makes me feel sick. [Laughter] It's rich. Meow. Loves it. Okay. Okay. Oh, did it just did you say it makes you feel sick? Some of me out. I don't love it. What? It's a good combination. M. It's salty and sweet. [Laughter] It is. Yeah, you're correct. Thanks. Totally. I know. Because I like it when it's baked. M. It's yellow or sometimes white. Yes, indeed. So, Ella, can you guess the word? Ella, what? Potato. What? You got it. Really? Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese. Hey, that was You were good until the third one. You're like sweet. What? Salty and sweet because it's a good combination. You think potatoes are salty and sweet? You're going to have potato chips are salty and sweet. Ah, okay. Yeah, they're potato chips. Mac and cheese. Yeah, mac and cheese. Mac and cheese. Wait, mac and cheese. Really good though. Sometimes the breading on top. can kind of make it sweet. Sure. Sure. This is song association. Let's go. Something like they're going to give us a theme or a word and the word has to be in the song and we're going to go until somebody doesn't get it. Okay. Ooh. Okay. The word is you. Any song that has you. Oh god. Who wants to start? Go for it. I love you, baby. And if it's quite all right, baby. Nice. Ella, baby, it's you. You're the one I love. You're the one I need. You always be my baby. Okay. What do you mean when you're not your but you want to say no? What do you mean? Wow. Oh, until someone can't think of you. You need me. Wow. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy. I can't help falling in love with you. Oh, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Sorry, I was really proud of that. meet your meet you downstairs in the bar and [Music] your t-shirt. Hey, what we doing? I don't know. What you doing? Call up, bro. 10. You go back to her. I go back to you're going to [Laughter] love [Applause] [Laughter] me. Next. Wow, I'm at a loss of words. I'm begging begging you. I'm begging. You you I don't know. Piss. Ella's out. Okay.
