hi in this video we will learn how to install mysql in your windows machine so for that let's open your favorite browser and search my sequel downloads and you will land on this page next click on my sql community gpl downloads gpl stand for general purpose license and we got a bunch of options to download my sql we will go for my sql community server and here go to download page now we have two options to install mysql in your pc first is just an installer or second to download my sql at once um i generally prefer installers so i will download this installer and click no thanks just start my download i don't want to log in or sign up all right this will start downloading okay show in folder yeah simply double click this installer and click yes again click yes in case you download that one time 427 mb file the process is exactly same you don't have to do much or less click yes okay choosing a setup type prefer the default one developer default click next you are good to go now we can see everything is downloaded so in case you got error just click try again and it will download and install it okay done now we can see we got this next button click on this yes product configuration get ready to configure click next let authentication method the recommended one click next now this is very important in this step you have to set up strong password for your my sequel but as well as easy to remember we enter this password and yeah click next service name let all settings be the default click next all right now all these changes are ready to apply click execute and they will start applying all right all the configuration are applied to my pc click finish now it's showing the product configuration click next again let all the settings be default click finish and now this is the final product configuration click next enter your password here which you set in the first product configuration click check connected click next now click execute to apply this configuration all right the final third configuration is all set and applied click finish here we can see configuration completed next installation complete click finish now we need command line client for my sequel hit start button and you will see here my sequel 8.0 command line client enter your password yes my sequel is ready now let's test few queries show databases yeah these are the by default databases i got with my sql so we can see our mysql is working here it is the 8.0 mysql community server gpl thanks for watching do subscribe
