Pagsasalang-alang sa Kapangyarihan ng Diyos

Gabayan niyo po kami as we study the smartest book in the world, and as we study it, O God, dalangin po namin, bawat isa sa amin ay magkaroon ng impartation that will lead to revelation, that will lead to transformation. May this particular Sunday, Lord God, will be something... that we will go back.

A landmark Sunday, oh God, that 10 years later we will go back and we will remember that we thought this is a usual Sunday but you've shown yourself to us ngayong araw na ito. And we are so excited sa gagawin mo. mo sa lahat ng bawat puso namin. Allow our hearts to be moved and our lips oh God to be opened to be grateful oh God for every word that you're about to say, Panginoon, sa bawat isa sa amin. At naniniwala ko we only need one word, Panginoon.

Naniniwala ko kahit isang salita lang will change the trajectory and the direction of our lives. So gamitin niyo po ang mensaheng ito, i-anoint niyo po ito, Panginoon, as we listen to it today live. Or even those who will be listening to this 10 years later, makakaramdam, Panginoon, ng presensya mo. sa pangalan ni Jesus. Amen. Let's open up our Bibles to Acts chapter 3 verse 1. We're gonna read from verses 1 all the way through verses 10. Acts 3 verses 1 to 10. One day, Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer at 3 in the afternoon.

Now a man who was slain from birth was being carried to the temple called Beautiful. Everybody say Beautiful. Parang ikaw.

Where he was also did it. And Peter asked and said, look at us. Verse 5, so the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. Then Peter said, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give you.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk. Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly, immediately, the man's feet and ankles become strong. He jumped to his feet, began to walk for the very very first time in his life, he began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

And when all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as a same man who used to sit for decades at the temple gate called Beautiful. And they were all filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Sabihin mo sa kanya, Hey, it's... It's different this time. It's different this time. Amen. As I was saying paulit-ulit kanina pa, today is not just another Sunday.

Because today naniniwala ko, you're going to experience the power of God. Naniniwala po ko that you are going to experience God in a whole new perspective, in a whole new level. This text is one of many, many stories na nagpapatunay mga kapatid that God can use an ordinary people, an ordinary people. situation to bring spectacular miracle in our lives.

So walk with me and work with me with the passage that we have today and we are going to have a textual approach. At naniniwala akong mga kapatid, as we study this book, naniniwala akong kakausapin tayo ng ating Panginoon.

That God is going to change the trajectory.

Maraming natawa, maraming natawa, maraming walang pera. Amen. But God is going to change the trajectory of our lives today. Na ang sabi ng verse 1, one day, look at this, highlight this part, one day, Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer.

I usually skip this part. When I look at characters, usually nilalagpasan ko lang ito. But when I look at Peter and John, I was fascinated by it.

Because Peter and John combination is new. Bago yan. This is an unusual combination.

Kasi every time you read the scripture, lagi magkasama si Peter and James, o si Peter and Andrew, si James tsaka si John.

They are completely opposite.

Okay, si Peter, he speaks first before he thinks.

muna bago mag-isip, nagpo-post muna bago mag-isip, o nag-iisip muna bago mag-post. Because there is a difference and a contrast between Peter and John. So si Peter, dininay niya si Jesus three times.

Pero surprisingly, in a surprising turn of events, ang sabi ng Scripture, sa Acts chapter 3, after they just received the Holy Spirit, after Peter preached and 3,000 people got saved, in Acts chapter 2, ang sabi ng Scripture, Peter and John were together in the church. They were together with the same purpose of praying in the synagogue, which is fascinating to me. There must be something Something that happened at the cross that brought them together.

Kasi lagi sila nagkukumpit. Pero nung nangyari yung Cruz at nangyari yung Pentecost, it must have brought them together. There is something about the cross na kahit magkaiba kayo ng personality, lagi kayong nagkakaroon ng pagkakasundo when it comes to the cross.

There is something about the death of Jesus Christ na kahit magkakaiba ng theology ang mga simbahan, pagdating sa crucifixion ni Jesus Christ, nagkakasundo tayo. There is something about the Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit, nung bumaba ang Holy Spirit that brought us together. Na magkahit magkakaiba-iba tayo ng theology, magkakaiba tayo ng prinsipyo, magkakaiba tayo ng upbringing, magkakaiba tayo ng personality, but when we approach the cross of Jesus Christ, there's something about it that brings us together.

Si Peter and John nagkukumpit before the cross, but after the cross, they complement each other. They supplement each other. Hindi siya Peter or John.

Asap, Peter and John. They were together for the first time. At naniniwala ako mga kapatid, nakaka-relate kayo because sometimes we don't enjoy each other's company. Hindi lahat ng tao dito gusto ako.

In fact, as I speak today, may iba sa inyo nag-iisip na masama about, patawarin kayo ng Panginoon, patawarin din ako ng Panginoon for judging you. But what I'm trying to say is this, at the foot of the cross, in the church, kahit magkakaiba-iba tayo mga kapatid, pinagtatagni-tagni tayo sa iisang katawan ng ating Panginoong Isus because of the cross and because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are not...

not competing against each other. In the church, we complete each other. Now sabi ng verse 2, amen?

Sabi ng scripture, Peter and John, verse 1, we're going up to the temple at this hour to pray at 3 in the afternoon. Now a man who was lame from birth, everybody say lame. Lame from birth. This is very interesting mga kapatid.

Interesting to note that Luke himself who wrote Acts was a doctor. And he had a detail of writing who this lame was. That's profound because I don't take this lightly, pero may mga kasamahan tayo na dating nakakalakad, but because of an accident, hindi na makalakad.

But this guy, yung kanyang condition ay hindi yung masaya siya before, and then natanggalan siya ng kakayanang maglakad. Since birth. It is a since birth issue.

And then, after the accident, those days are gone. But this is a congenital defect.

But because of his condition, all the joys of childhood were gone. He was not able to play with his friends.

Pero ang gustong sabihin ng ating Panginoon, noon dito, this guy, dinescribe ni Luke, he was born this way. When I was reading this, I was reminded of our inborn condition. That before we were born, nung tayo ay pinanganak, kahit na wala tayong doing na masama, because of sin, we were born sinners.

But thank God, God made a way. He gave Jesus Christ. So we were once sinner, but because of Jesus Christ, we are now born again.

Amen. And all his life, this man is always a beggar. Everybody say a beggar.

Pero ang sabi ng scripture, now a man who was slain from birth was being carried. Everybody say being carried. Highlighted part.

Being carried. Amen. Actually, I was trying to look for it, yung salitang being carried because I've never seen this before, pero yung salitang being carried is actually in the imperfect tense. Pag sinabi mong imperfect tense, you have to do it over and over again. Hindi siya katulad ni Jesus Christ na nung sabi, sabi siya, for example, tetelestai, it is finished, that is a perfect tense.

It is imperfect tense. Kasi araw-araw, kailangan siyang dalihin mula sa bahay. Papunta sa temple.

He was being carried every single day. To cut the long story short, parang sinasabi ng scripture, naging routine niya na. Everybody say routine.

Naging routine niya na araw-araw na galing sa bahay, dadaling siya sa harap ng temple. at kung babasahin niyo yung buong story niya, kasi after this, Peter was imprisoned because of healing this man, and we just read in the story na pinagaling siya ng Panginoon, pero kung titignan niyo sa Acts chapter 4, I think verse 22, if I remember correctly, sa Acts 4, verse 22, sinabi rito na yung lalaking ito is more than 40 years old. So kung lame siya since birth, more than 40 years na yung kanyang condition.

He was being carried every single time. Let's just say at the age of 20, nung nagsimula siyang umupo doon sa temple kasi ang sabi ng verse 10, lahat ng tao na nakakakilala sa kanya na lagi siyang nandun sa pinto ng temple was amazed doon sa miracle at healing na nangyari sa kanya. So, kilala siya.

And probably for many years, it was his routine na araw-araw siyang dinadala. Pero very interestingly, sabi ng scripture, he was being carried, let's continue reading, he was being carried to the gate called Beautiful. Highlight that part.

Everybody say Beautiful. Look at this Siya ay dinadala Sa isang gate Na ang tawag ay beautiful Now Ang temple Maraming gate Lahat maganda Pero there's something about The Nicanor gate Na lagi siyang mas maganda Compared to the rest And I find Every time I I do Bible study, I always find the contrast. And what a contrast of having an ugly condition in a beautiful gate.

He has an ugly condition, but he was being carried every single day in a beautiful gate. Ang temple is a picture of magnificence. It is a picture of wealth.

Especially back then, talagang pinagtutunan nila ng pansin paano magiging maganda ang itsura ng temple. Napakaganda ng temple and next to it, an ugly condition. A lame man since birth.

Araw-araw dinadaan. Nakaandaanan lang siya. May ibang tao na naaawa sa kanya. Nagbibigay ng konting limos. Sabi ng ibang tao, just another beggar.

Meron naman, because back then, lahat ng beggar lagi nag-aantay sa harap ng temple because in Judaism, it has a religious importance kapag nagbibigay ka ng limos.

Pero ang sabi ng Scripture, He was being carried in the temple gate called beautiful. Let's continue reading, anak.

Verse 2, please. Amen. Where He was put every day to beg. Just another day para man limos. Because He's been there for years.

And He's been begging every single day. So, sa pinto ng temple courts. But something happened that day.

But how many among you believe, mga kapatid, minsan nasasanay na tayo sa routine, sa pattern, ng ating buhay, and just like that, when Jesus came, when Jesus, when we encounter Jesus Christ, there's something about His presence, there's something about His power and authority that can change the trajectory of our lives today.

Ang sabi ng verse, verse 3, when he saw, verse 3, when he saw Peter and John which about to enter, he asked them for money. When he saw Peter and John, and actually, yung pinuntahan ni Peter and John is a synagogue. All of them, all of the Jewish people na lalaki, ages 13 and above, are required actually to go to the temple every day, at least once, every day.

So this is not the first time na si Peter and John or probably si Peter lang, o si John diyan lang na pumasok ng temple. Routine din ni Peter and John, na magsimba at pumunta sa synagogue, but this is not your ordinary day.

This is not just your ordinary Sunday. This time, it is different. This time, something is happening.

But I believe that that day is a divine appointment.

Lagi kang nandito every Sunday, pero naniniwala ako that today, gumising ka kaninang umaga, akala mo this is just another preaching. This is just another church day. But naniniwala ako mga kapatid, this is a divine appointment.

ng Panginoon sa bawat isa sa atin. Amen. Tatlo lang siguro kausap ni Lord. Pero this is a divine appointment.

Nag-umising ka kanina, akala mo, this is just an ordinary Sunday. Pero gagamitin ng Panginoon ang pagkakataong ito para ipaintindi sa'yo that you are not here by accident. Somebody invited you not by accident. has a divine appointment and a divine purpose for your life. And God is able to change your life today.

Amen. Nasabi ng scripture, nagpa-plano silang umati ng 3 p.m. service at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Actually, kung titignan nyo yung context, It is somehow not logical for Peter and John na mag-invest ng panahon sa isang lalaki na lagi na nalang nakikita.

After all, may sakit pa at beggar pa. Because one chapter before, in Acts chapter 2, Peter spoke and 3,000 people got saved. One preaching, 3,000 people got saved. Pwedeng sabihin ni Peter rin diyan, ah, tatayo na lang ako sa stage kasi pag nag-preach ako, 3,000 people will be saved.

And sometimes, marami sa atin, masyadong addicts. sa platform, na hindi natin minsan makita yung mga individual people na nilalagay ng Panginoon sa ating path, na minsan lagi tayo nage-expect ng big miracle, big break, ng big break too, na lagi natin sinasabi, tsaka na mag-aantay ako ng another opportunity, mag-aantay ako ng another day. Pero minsan hindi natin makita yung mga taong nilalagay ng Panginoon sa ating path na inaalaw ng Diyos na nadaanan natin para gamitin tayo ng Panginoon to be a blessing to that person.

Naalala nyo yung lalaki sa Luke 17 na nasabi ng Scripture, scripture, binugbog, hinold up, iniwan siyang half-dead dun sa road ng Jericho, na nung dumaan yung priest, hindi siya pinansin because he was so busy in what he's doing, na yung Levite dumaan, hindi niya pinansin, pero kung sino pa yung foreigner na Samaritan, siya pa yung nakapansin, because minsan we are so caught up with our business in the ministry, na nakakalimutan natin ang mga taong nilalagay ng Panginoon sa ating mga paths, na gusto ng Lord na tulungan ipag-pray, gusto ng Panginoon na gabayan sa pambalagay. pamagitan ng wisdom na ibinigay sa iyo ng Panginoon. And if we will fail to respond, we will miss the opportunity.

Nung Thursday, alam niyo, every Thursday, nagpapalondre kami ni Jenny. Mura lang kasi laundry sa Bulacan. So every Thursday, kapag day off namin, nagpapalondre kami. And I thought, this is just another Sunday.

Another day of day. Pero many many weeks before, yung nag-aasikasyo ng laundry dun sa laundry shop, kilala ko. Dumadaan daw yung video natin sa kanya.

At some point, nasabi niya, parang kilala ko itong lalaking ito. Tapos na-realize niya. Ito yung nagpapalabas sa amin eh. So, dati akala ko just an ordinary Sunday.

Sabi niya, at alam mo, naiiyak ako minsan kasi parang ako yung kinakausap mo. And every Thursday, nakikita kami. And every Sunday, every Thursday, usually walang communication.

Hi lang, magkano po? Tapos ang, it is an acquaintance. But that day, is not your usual Thursday. Kasi for the first time, kinausap niya ako ng masinsina.

Sinabi niya, the videos of your ministry have impacted my life.

And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, God used the videos of this ministry para makapag-minister sa kanya. And at that moment, alam mo, mo, umiiyak siya habang naglo-laundry.

Number 2. Lagay mo sa number 2. And he was, she was crying habang kausap niya ko. Alam nyo, if I failed to respond that day, I would have missed the opportunity.

Pero alam mo, that very same day, sabi ng Lord sa akin, ipanalangin mo siya. And we prayed in a broad daylight. Number 2. Number 2. Doon mo ilagay.

Yun yung sinasabi ko, mga kapatid. On the back of your... are so busy with our own agenda na baka nakakalimutan natin na may mga taong nilalagay ang Panginoon sa atin. Kasi tingnan mo siya, when he saw Peter and John about to enter, how many people are entering the synagogue back then?

Most of the synagogues back then open almost 24 hours anytime you wanted to. you can come.

And how many people have already entered that synagogue? But there's something about that day that changes his life. Pero look at this. Sabi ng verse 3, balik mong anak, when they saw Peter and Jen about to enter, he asked them for money.

Kasi these guys, Peter and John, are broke. Silver and gold, I have none. But in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

At that point, wala silang pera. pero yung lalaking ito na lumpo, wala rin expectation for miracle. He's just expecting angs.

Nag-e-expect lang siya ng limos kasi that is his usual routine everyday for decades. Pero ang sabi ng verse 4, then Peter said, verse 4, Look at us. Tignan mo kami.

Kasi ang mga beggars, minsan they constantly look. Lagi sila naghahanap, sino kaya yung next donor? They have no silver, no gold.

Pero sabi ng scripture, Amen? Peter said to him, Look at us. Tignan mo kami. And as sabi ng scripture, verse 4, let's read that again. Peter looked straight at him.

And Peter said, Look at us.

Verse 5, So the man gave them his attention. expecting to get something from them. Then verse 6, Peter said, here you go.

Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. Paraphrase, alam ko gusto mo pera. I don't have what you want, but I have what you need. I don't have what you want, but I have what you need.

And many of you came to church today because you want something from the Lord, pero minsan nasasabihin ng Lord sa'yo, I don't have what you want, but I have what you need. Sabi ng Lord, I don't have what you want. In fact, God has what you want. But He will give you not what you want.

He will give you what you need.

Si Peter rin dyan, sinabi niya, I don't have what you want. Alam ko gusto mo limos kasi lahat ng tao dito nagbibigay sa'yo ng alms at ng limos but I don't have that. Silver and gold, we don't have that.

But what we do have will change your life.

And this is quite interesting. As I've said, I've established it already.

Most probably, nakita na ni Peter and John itong lalaking ito na namamali mo at the temple gate. Kilala siya eh. At kasama pa yung ibang mga beggars at that time.

But why now? In fact, many scholars are actually saying, many commentaries are actually saying, that even Jesus have probably saw this man before. Because itong pangyayari nito is just 50 days after Jesus was crucified.

Wala pang 2 months. And Jesus was always going to the synagogue. So there are a lot of scholars are actually saying, most probably nakita na rin ni Jesus ito.

At nung nakita ni Jesus, ba't di niya pinagaling? Why now? Right? Why now? And kung hindi man si Jesus, si Peter and John, every single day, dumadaan sila sa beautiful gate.

Pero why now? Alam kong busy sila, hinahabol nila yung 3pm service, probably they were running late. Pero bakit ngayon pa?

And maybe, just maybe, many of you, are actually have intentions why you come to church today.

It is our spiritual compliance.

Amen. Amen. But today, today is something different. This is not just your ordinary Sunday because God literally changed His life. God literally ended His routine.

God literally ended what He used to do. He's changed because of one encounter with Jesus Christ.

But you know what? Naniniwala ko mga kapatid na may mga pagkakataon sa buhay natin na kapag tayo ay trapped sa routine and unproductive cycle, we are trying to say to God, Lord, baguhin niyo pong aking sitwasyon until God will talk to us back and say, ikaw ang kailangan magbago. Amen?

And it happened to us many times, na parang hindi nagbago yung lugar, pero ikaw talaga yung nagbago.

But your perspective has changed.

Nag-mature ka. Ikaw yung lumaki, hindi yung iskinita. Hallelujah! Amen?

Dahil masyado kang bata, masyado kang naib, masyado ka lang excited to go to Enchanted Kingdom.

Something has changed in you. You've grown. You've mature. Na minsan, marirealize mo lang.

Okay, let me say this to you. Every single day that you come to church, huwag mong sabihin this is just an ordinary Sunday. Kasi every time you hear the gospel and every time you hear the word and every time you raise up your hands in worship, may nababago sa buhay mo.

Minsan lang, hindi mo ma-realize. Okay. Until suotin mo yung dati mong sinusuot. Are you here?

Are you here, mga kapatid?

Until you go back to where you used to go. Until you hear what you used to hear.

Na dating, Dati mahilig kang magmura. Dati lahat ng puto seiko, puto maya kabisado mo. And then binago ka ng Panginoon.

Amen? Noon, yung ibang tao naiirita sa'yo sa pagmumura mo. Pero nung binago ka ng Panginoon five years later, nung kinausap mo yung mga dating kaputo seiko mo, ikaw na ngayon ang naiiritate because you're not so used to it anymore.

Dati kang sanay, hindi nagbago yung kabarkada mo, ikaw yung nagbago. Hindi pa rin nila umay. Okay.

I mean, nagbago lang yung perspective.

Come on now. Hallelujah.

Ako lang ba rito? Ako lang ba nakaka-relate? And there is something that changed.

Hindi siya nagbago. Ikaw yung nagbago. Amen? And every day, lagi nila nakikita yung lalaking yun.

Every day, lagi nila nakikita si Peter and John. But something that day happened. And the same place na naging routine niya of his weakness and limitation is the same place na ginamit ng Lord para ma-receive niya yung miracle. And he began to walk. Sino sa inyo, bago kayo nagsimba dito sa church, and by the way, for those of our friends who are joining on Spotify, on YouTube, ang lugar na kinakaterika ng church building natin is Araneta Square Mall, okay?

In Monumento, Caloocan City. Visita. One of these days, visita po kayo.

Ayan, pagdaan mo. Luma naman tong mall na to.

Hindi na to binago. Hindi na in-upgrade. Dati school to eh.

Every time nadadaan ka, hindi mo pinapansin. Mas napapansin mo yung Grand Central before. Mas nagpapansin mo yung hypermarket. O baka weird ka lang si Bonifacio. Then all of a sudden, one day, somebody invited you to church.

Punta ka sa church. Saan? Arameta. Ah, lagi ako dumadaan yan.

Alam ko yan. Then all of a sudden, you came to church. Your lives have changed.

You encountered Jesus in this place.

But there's something about the presence of God. Amen. That when the presence of God is present, yung...

Amen? Para sa iba, this is just another mall. Pero para sa atin, this is our home. This is where we encounter Jesus Christ today.

That's why I want to encourage you today, huwag kang magpadala dun sa nakasanayan mong paniniwala. Ayaw mo mag-training kasi dun sa dati mong church, ah baka this is just another training. This is just another grow track.

This is just another small group. But I believe with all my heart na time will come, darating yung panahon na inaakala mong palagi mong tinadaanan nakasanayan. pero gagamitin ng Lord yung parehong nakasanayan mo para ipakita ng Lord kung sino siya at magkaroon ng milagrong yung buhay.

Amen? Kahapon kumain kami ni Jenny sa KFC. Kentucky Fried Rice, Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Parang may something. May nakaka-relate ba kayo?

Nagbago ba yung restaurant?

Hindi. Gutom ka lang. Anong ibig ko sabihin mga kapatid? Sa taong gutom.

Kahit nakasanayan, sumasarap. Gano'ng kakagutom sa presensya ng Panginoon? Gano'ng kakagutom sa breakthrough ng Panginoon?

Gano'ng kakahangry? Amen, that God will encounter you today. Kasi para sa iba, this is just an ordinary Sunday.

Nung kinanta natin kanina yung, this is the day, this is the day that the Lord... Sinabi ko talaga sa team natin, kantahin nyo yan because we've been... Been so used with that song nung 1970s, 1980s, hanggang nung bata ako lagi siyang kinakanta. Pero usually pag kinakanta siya, naboboard kami.

But there's something about what happened earlier. Na nung kinanta natin yung this is the day, this is not just an ordinary day. There's something special sa mga taong hungry and thirsty for God's presence. Na yung ordinary yung KFC sumasarap.

Yung ordinary yung gravy lumalapot. Yung ordinary yung kanin. Sumasarap.

But when... you're hungry.

It doesn't matter kung napapanood mo to 10 years later basta gutom ka. You're going to encounter Jesus like never before.

God is able to transform your life today. We want to settle for where we are today.

But I want to encourage our entire global family.

I want my life to be obedient. I want to follow Jesus like never before. I don't want to settle for my vicious and unproductive cycle. I want transformation.

I want my life to change. Public service announcement. Jesus is able to put your life back together. Something is about to happen that day.

And when He saw Peter and John, He asked for something. Sabi niya, silver and gold I have none. But in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

Verse 7, Taking Him by the right hand. Peter helped him. Talagang supporting role lang si John.

And instantly, a man's feet and ankles became strong. Now, if that's a miracle, only God knows.

If you don't sit where they sit, if you don't know what they know, huwag na lang. Amen?

And I don't know how true is that miracle. Pero this is different because yung nagsaklay posibleng dati ng nakakalakad. So he knows how to walk. He knows how to run.

But this guy, Wala siyang idea kung paano. Basahin ulit natin ng verse 7. Ang sabi ng scripture, nung inalalayan siya ni Peter, taking him by the right hand, taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him. Out of nowhere, tinulungan siya.

And sabi ng Scripture, instantly, yung dating walang muscle strength, nanginginig, his ankles become strong. And I believe this is not an instant transformation. It's gradual, dahan-dahan, na binubuhay ng Lord yung kanyang nerves and muscle that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. For four decades, lagi siya nakaupo doon, nangihingi ng limos. But this time, when he went to the temple, he received the answer.

He received what he needed. Nakakalungkot lang minsan that sometimes we are so absorbed with our template when we come to the temple na minsan yung template na nakasanayan natin every Sunday, first song, kakanta yan. Joyful, mabilis. Tapos pangalawang kanta, mabilis.

Pagkatapos nun, may akyat dyan eh. Tapos mag-welcome sila.

Tapos magpapakomen section.

Yung i-break natin yung routine ba?

Amen? Because, parang i-break nyo kaya yung routine because sometimes we are so absorbed of our template. Templated na yung programs natin. Templated na yung activities natin. That every time people go to the temple, they're expecting a template that this is how the church should be.

This is how I raise my hand.

We were so caught up with our template every time we come to the temple.

Yung mata, laparan natin konti.

Okay, next. Walang ganun si Lord. Amen. Wala siyang template.

That's why when you come to church, do not expect a template. Kasi kahit yung parehong kanta na favorite niyong, Praise the Lord. Oh my. Amen.

That could minister to you when your hearts are open. That could minister. to you when you are hungry for Jesus. That can minister to you when you are thirsty for God.

This is not just another miracle. Nalang yun sa Luke 5, may isang lalaki na lumpo for 38 years.

And it was his template every single day to wait for it. And then Jesus came.

He broke the template. Jesus came.

Kasi yung timing ng Lord, God is always on time. Amen?

Kahit na araw-araw dinadaanan ni Peter and John yung lugar na yun, darating yung panahon that, ah, finally, my time has come. Akala ko this is just another day to circle Jericho. Akala ko this is another day to dip into the Jordan River. Amen?

Bakit kasusuko? Alam nyo, don't stop, don't give up, kasi baka nasa day six ka na. Ngayon ka ba basusuko? What if, this day, is your day?

day? What if this day, God is going to answer your prayer? What if this year, mabubuntis ka na?

What if this year, mapopromote ka na? What if this year, tatawagin ka na ng Panginoon? What if today is your day?

This time, it's different. This is not your usual service. Today is not just another Sunday.

I believe that this is not just another preaching. Ano yung may mga times ako na, okay, another day, another adventure, Lord. Mangusap ka po sa akin.

And then in the middle of the preparation, whoa, this is life-changing, Lord. Akala ko this is just another preaching. E ako mismo binago ng Panginoon. So don't ever underestimate what God can do.

Nasasabihin mo, this is just another preaching. This is just another moment ng ating Panginoon. Ilang tao ang lumagpas-lagpas sa Kanya.

That this is just another donor, another people, another group of people. But it only takes Peter and John. I don't know, who is this for?

At yung yes niya. will reverse lahat ng rejection na pinagdaanan mo through the years. It only takes one moment.

It only takes one yes. Akala ko it's just another laundry day. Akala ko another year. Just another client, another follower, another idea. Pero ang sabi ng Scripture, when Peter took him by the right hand, suddenly, he was healed.

And I used to believe na pinagaling tong lalaking ito. Hold on na, baka i-cut yun na naman sa TikTok to. Buo inyo, okay?

I used to believe na kaya gumaling ang lalaking ito is because of his faith. But he doesn't have faith.

He was there. So when God and when Peter took him by the hand, para patayuin mo yung taong never nakatayo all his life, that is faith. So it was not really the faith of a man who was lame.

It is the faith of Peter. Pananampalatayan ni Peter, pwede ba yun pastor? Nagagaling ka?

Gamit ang pananampalatayan? Pwede. Naalala nyo yung paralytic man?

Let's follow the story. Ang sabi ng Mark chapter 2, when Jesus returned to Capernaum several days later, the news spread quickly that he was back home.

Soon, the house where he was staying was so packed with visitors. Punong-puno ng tao yung bahay. And there was no more room.

Just another crowded ministry of Jesus Christ. Even the outside door. But while Jesus was preaching God's word to them, verse 3, while he was preaching the word, imagine nyo habang nagpipreach ako, biglang may kumukot-kot sa itaas ng ceiling na ito.

Ang sabi ng scripture, four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. Verse 4, they could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd. So they dug a hole through the roof.

And I don't know how true this is, pero ang sabi ng maraming Bible scholar, there is a strong possibility na yung bahay na yun, bahay ni Peter. Hindi niya ako mag-insult. Mahay ni Peter tapos binubukas. Si Peter na outspoken, opinionated. Ano kaya sinabi?

OY! ANO YAN?! Binuksan yung bubong.

Sabi ng scripture, verse 4 talaga, they could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered them. They lowered the man on his mat. Probably sleeping. Probably sinabi niya, ang kulit niyo!

Hindi na ako gagaling! This is just another day na nakahiga ako. Ano naman itong ginagaling? Binutas niyo pa yung bubong!

But he was lowered right down in front of Jesus. And when you are in front of his presence, this is not just another day. Watch this.

Verse 5. Seeing their fate. Not the fate of the paralyzed man, seeing the fate of his four friends, seeing their fate, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, My child, your sins have been forgiven. Akala nila this is just another crowded day, another day, gigising na naman tayo. But his crazy friends were on a mission.

Kailangan naming madala yung kaibigan namin kay Jesus. This is not just another day na i-invite ko yung... yung mga pamilya ko kung hindi sila umuoo. But this guy, sabi niya na today is the day.

Tomorrow might be too late. Next week might be too late.

In fact, kung babalikan niyo yung Acts chapter 3, balikan mo nga anak yung Acts 3 verse 2. I've never seen this before. Now a man who was slain from birth was being carried to the temple. Everybody say being carried.

Highlight that part. Being carried. Hindi pa nga siya nakakarating eh. Dinadala pa lang pala siya. He was not yet at his usual spot.

On the way pa lang siya sa usual spot. At habang on the way si Peter and John, he met the way, the truth, and the light. and no one comes to the bar. But why?

Because minsan, on the way pa lang tayo, pwede na nating ma-encounter si Jesus Christ. That you're on the way to your usual spot. Gigising na naman ako on the way to my usual work. On the way to... to my usual day.

So kung wala mang door of opportunity, merong room.

proof of opportunity. Amen.

All you have to do is just have that faith to believe, mga kapatid. Do you have faith? Yes.

But do you have also faith for your family and friends?

Dahan-dahan nanginginig. But finally, he jumped to his feet. At nasabi ng scripture, he began to walk for the very first time. Then he went with them in the temple course, walking and jumping and praising God.

In New King James translation, he was leaping. He was leaping from begging to leaping. when he encountered Jesus Christ. He was just begging for alms, begging for money. But today is the day.

God is going to make the impossible possible. Today is the day. He can turn my mess into a message. Today is the day.

He can turn my trials into triumph. Today is the day that God is going to change. This is not just another day of begging. It is a day of leaping.

Kung hindi siya binitbit, Gumaling kaya siya? Kung tinamad siya, gumaling kaya siya? Kung sinabi niya, oh, this is another day, kung sumuko siya, gumaling kaya siya? Kung di ka bumangon, Narinig mo kaya to? Kunti namad ka kanina.

May encounter mo kaya ang Panginoon? Siguro sabi niya, I've been doing this for four decades. This is just another day.

And Satan will make you believe, it doesn't matter, isang linggo lang naman. Isang araw lang naman. Saglit lang naman. Pero sino sa inyo agree? Yung saglit lang can change the course of your life.

That is just another prayer.

That is just another Bible reading. That is just another day believing. Stop na! Sumuko ka na.

But this message is a reminder to all of us. Keep showing up and see what God can do. Keep giving and see what God can do. Keep serving and see what God can do.

This time, it is different. This time, it's an encounter. This time, it's all about Jesus.

Palapakan natin ating Panginoon. Everybody, stand to your feet. Hallelujah.

I don't know, kapatid. If you've been struggling, maybe hindi ka lame, hindi ka physically unable to walk. But I know many of us, mayroon na Have issues?

That's not what I'm preaching. What I'm preaching is, alam ko, because you encountered God today.

To love God again, to serve God again. Every head bow, every eye close. We're just amazed, Lord, with what You can do sa aming mga buhay. Marami sa amin na nagsasabi, ha?

I've been doing this for decades, I've been doing this for years. I've been waiting for an answer prayer. Inayawan ako, iniwan ako, tinalikuran ako, tinanggiyan ako. I've experienced so many rejections in my life.

And I'm willing to, I'm willing to settle here. But I hope in Jesus'name, today, you are going to encounter Him like never before. You begin to see Jesus, not like you used to. But you're going to see Him today bigger than any challenge and obstacles that you face.

Believing that with Him, all things shall be impossible. So today, Church, those who are joining us in person and those who are joining us online, I want you to come to the Lord with a heart that is open. Open to say, Lord, this is not just another Sunday.

This is not just another day. I want to encounter You, Lord, like never before. Para ang bawat isa po sa amin, O God, will be able to walk worthy of that calling.

And so today, Lord God, as we end this service, as we go back to our homes, families, Go back to our routines and patterns.

And I pray in Jesus'name, Lord God, that every one of us will experience the same. deliverance will experience, O God, Jesus in a whole new way. Today is the day. We know you can make the impossible possible. You can turn our mess into a message.

You can turn our test into testimony. This is not just another day of begging. This is a day of leaping, of praising, and jumping, and walking, and sharing all the great things that you have done. I speak provisions over their lives.

I speak freedom over their lives. I speak deliverance over their lives. Do what only you can do.

Touch our hearts today. We love you. And we thank you. Touch po natin ang ating dalawang kamay.

I pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you, make His face shine on you, be gracious to you, turn His face towards you and give you peace, and may the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be among you and remain with you all. always. In Jesus'name we pray.
