Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Primary Computer Setup

   • This is where the printer driver is installed (Computer 1).
   • Right-click on the network icon and select Network and Internet settings.

2. Network Discovery and Sharing Options

   • Click on Sharing options in the settings.
   • For Private network:
     • Turn on Network discovery.
     • Turn on File and printer sharing.
   • For Guest or Public network:
     • Turn on Network discovery.
     • Turn on File and printer sharing.
   • For All networks:
     • Check Use 128-bit encryption.
     • Check Turn off password protected sharing.
   • Click Save changes.

3. Sharing the Printer

   • Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.
   • Right-click on the printer (e.g., Canon printer) that you want to share.
   • Click on Printer properties, then go to the Sharing tab.
   • Check Share this printer.

   • Right-click on the shared printer and click Connect.
