I'm mad Sati and welcome to [Music] imination today I'll be reviewing a very well-known brand and this shoe is for mixed running such as cross country or just jogging on a trail and this shoe is the Hoka Challenger ATR 7 [Music] [Music] today we will be reviewing five main topics about the Hoka Challenger ATR R seven such as comfort performance durability fit and looks now let's go ahead and jump right into comfort for Comfort hocus signature thing in almost all the hookus shoes is the thick salt now this mids so is made of EVA foam which absorbs the impact and reduces strains on joints during long run so this shoe is going to be great for a long run cuz every time you step down it's going to go ahead and press down and the foam is going to go down and it's going to feel great now the sho's roomy toe box and plush padding around the tongue enhances the overall Comfort making it a great option for long run or even just walking on a trail all right now that we hit Comfort let's go ahead and jump into performance the 4 mm grip pads at the bottom as you can see is great and they put them in the right spot so you're not sliding around on Rocky Terin or even if it's muddy or wet and they added it without adding too much weight cuz as a runner you don't want a lot of weight on your Shi one more thing for a performance is on the Hoka Challenger ATR 7 you can actually run on the road as well so it has a nice transition in between trail run to Road run really fast with the same amount of comfort nothing too crazy and it's still lightweight we're going to go ahead and hit our third main topic for the Hoka Challenger ATR 7 which is durability durability the Hoka Challenger ATR 7s are made with great durability and we can withstand trail running and Road running now they are reinforced on the upper layer with Extra Protection because that's usually where it wears out during the running now some customers and reviews have stated that it has worn out and they have have gotten holes on the side and the top of the shoe pretty fast now when I say fast I mean about like 2 to 3 months you still got a long time and if you're running them every day they probably will wear out more you're running them them like every other week or so they should be good for a year or so let's go ahead and jump into our fourth main topic for today which is fit now Hoka usually runs their true size so for the Challenger ATR 7s they do run true size so if you're a 10 you will want to get a 10 unless you just like your running shoes a little bit bigger they fit really snug your foot does not move around a lot when you're running back and forth and it's really it really it's comfortable for a h top toe base and just overall now the lacing system is just like a regular shoe um you can tie them up you can do the runner's tie it's it's really just a regular shoe tie but it looks pretty nice and they don't usually untie while you're running if you double not them which I definitely suggest for runners uh so yeah for our fifth topic for today we're going to go over looks I think the Challenger ATR 7s look great the shoe comes in variety of colors especially off of the Hoke of website they have so many colors to pick from and the shoe retails about $140 $50 depending on where you are I think the shoe personally looks a lot like a running shoe which is what it should cuz it is a running shoe but I would not wear for a lifestyle shoe unless you're just looking for a really comfortable walking around kind of shoe the Hooka Challenger ATR 7s are great running shoes for the trail and the road I hope that you enjoyed this video and that you got a lot out of it and I hope to see you soon please subscribe and comment what you guys should do next thank you for joining me at Imagination [Music]
