Lecture Notes: Church Service and Message

Welcome and Introduction

  • Welcome Desk: Outside the worship center for questions.
  • Discover Hope Lunch:
    • For newcomers to Hope Niagara.
    • Held in the Fellowship Hall after the Second Service at 12:30 PM.
    • Opportunity to meet staff and learn about the church's vision.
  • Hope Essentials:
    • Following Discover Hope.
    • Classes on September 29th and October 6th during the first service at 8:45 AM.
    • Taught by elders, focusing on being a follower of Jesus and living out a '5G life'.
  • Service and Small Groups: After completing Discover Hope and Hope Essentials, members can serve and join small groups.
  • Prayer and Praise Meeting:
    • Monthly church-wide meeting.
    • Sunday, September 29th at 6 PM.
  • Fall Family Day Celebration:
    • 13th anniversary at Agape Valley Bible Camp.
    • Sunday, October 6th, 3 to 6 PM.
    • Activities include cider, donuts, hayrides.
    • Bring lawn chairs and outdoor games.

Worship

  • Songs of worship and praise include themes of God's presence and salvation.
  • Emphasis on God as a living hope and the power of his redeeming love.
