Overview
Purpose: Instructional video for clinicians on the proper application of 3M Avagard surgical and healthcare personnel hand antiseptic with moisturizers.
Intended Use: As a surgical scrub and hand antiseptic.

Active Ingredients:
Alcohol for rapid kill.
Chlorhexidine gluconate for persistent cumulative activity.
Application: No water or mechanical scrubbing required.
Application Instructions
Pre-Application:
Ensure hands are unsoiled, clean, and dry.
First application of the day: clean under nails with a 3M Avagard nail cleaner.
No pre-scrub is required.
Three-Step Process:
Step 1:
Dispense 1 pump (2 milliliters) into the palm.
Dip fingernails of opposite hand into the antiseptic and clean under nails.
Spread over the hand and up to just above the elbow.
Step 2:
Repeat the procedure with the opposite hand.
Step 3:
Dispense a final pump (2 milliliters) into either hand.
Reapply to both hands up to the wrists.
Allow to dry naturally (no towels).
