what's up guys um today's video is going to be a little bit different than normal I'm not going to sit here and repeat what I say like five or six times trying to get it perfect not going to try and plan out every little thing that I would say like I normally would probably going to end up doing it anyways but uh I feel like I've made this video or a video like it so many times that it's uh it's a little pointless to really do the whole song and dance so here we are as I'm sure many of you already know yesterday I got a strike for a video that I uploaded talking about a video that's here on YouTube where a guy likes to drink his wife's breast milk it's a video that like I said is on YouTube right now many many other people have reacted to it made commentary videos on it some of those videos having millions of views and yesterday I got a community guidelines strike for making a video of my own now I'm making this video because this is this is just such a big problem on YouTube and it's been such a big problem for such a long time and it's just it's just gotten to a point where it's ridiculous it's it's really something we can't ignore anymore and by we I mean content creators I don't really expect you guys to do anything it's not your responsibility or anything like that but I've been thinking about this a lot over the last 24 hours and it's just it's a comically bad situation so when I first uploaded the video after it went through all of its checks and everything it got oh my God it got no ads on it which is pretty much what I expected I wasn't really too upset about that I'm talking about a dude who likes to suck on titties it's kind of expected that I won't get advertisements on that one no big deal then like 45 minutes maybe 30 minutes after I uploaded it it got age restricted which again is something I kind of expected the original video on YouTube is age restricted I tried to cut out some of the stuff that I thought got at that restriction but obviously I wasn't successful so I got an age restriction again not really a big deal it's part of the game sometimes it happens when you cover certain topics who cares then at like 2 or 3 in the morning I got an email saying that my video had been removed for violating the community guidelines this is where I was like okay what the like I said this video is on YouTube right now if you type in truly breastfeeding husband or something like that you will find the video if you type in critical breastfeeding you'll find his video on it that has like 2 and 1/2 million views doesn't look like he got stried for it actually truly has this video in two different places they have it on two different channels it's the same video no guideline strikes there obviously and if you just search this video on YouTube you will find hundreds of people who have made reaction videos or commentary videos talking about this video but for some reason mine got removed now look obviously there is so much content on YouTube that a person can't review at all trying to act like that would ever be a possibility is sort of silly so the occasional wrongful guideline strike I mean it's expected I guess it shouldn't happen ideally but it's going to however I appealed to the strike and I said hey this video is everywhere on YouTube so either reinstate mine or take down all of those and within like 10 minutes they denied the appeal and all of those videos are still on YouTube so they clearly did not follow my instructions but this is just such a big issue on YouTube because if you don't know a community guidelines strike is more than just your video getting removed if you get three of them your channel is gone your channel gets terminated and as far as I know there is no course of action to get it back as a person who does this for a living that's kind of spooky now the problem does not lie in any of that there's got to be rules there's got to be ways to enforce them that is just the nature of any social media platform or anything at any scale you can't just allow anything unless you're kick the problem is that when stuff like this happens you're just if you've never done YouTube or if youve never tried to get an issue resolved on YouTube there is really no way to describe how bad your options are for trying to get anything done on this website there is no customer support anywhere it doesn't exist if you go to Google help or YouTube help or whatever and you say look I think this strike is false I need a second look this is jeopardizing my channel you will get an AI chatbot response 100% of the time there is no way around it there's no steps to take when stuff like this happens to your channel and it's really unfair because content creators are making Google all of their money on YouTube without content creators on YouTube it doesn't exist we as a collective group of content creators all across this website are bringing in YouTube billions and billions of dollars a year you would think that if you're making a company that much money they would want to keep you around but it really doesn't seem like they do there are two things you can do if anything ever goes wrong on your YouTube channel well I guess three but the third one's not really an official option NE neither is the second one actually one and the only official option is to appeal it 99.99% of the time when you appeal anything on YouTube it will get instantly declined within 10 minutes okay that's kind of a silly use of the word instantly but you know what I mean they're not reviewed by humans they say they are but I promise you nobody was reviewing my appeal at 3:30 in the morning I didn't just happen to be the first appeal in line somehow and it just got instant rejected by somebody looking at it it was a bot it was an automated response if you're not a big content creator it's over there that's where your options end you have no other course of action if you have a decent amount of followers on Twitter your second and your real option is to at Team YouTube and say hey guys you up for the 16th million time this month can you fix it now thankfully generally they do I'm not really worried about this strike I'm sure within the next 48 hours or so it'll be gone because it is a false strike I know it is and generally team YouTube does the right thing generally but how up is it that one of the biggest and the most profitable social media platform on the planet has their best form of customer service on a different social media site that they have nothing to do with why is there not real options here on YouTube or on Google it's insane and then your third option is to just get banned and then hope enough big YouTubers make a video about you to make YouTube crack and reinstate your channel why are those the only options it just makes no sense that we're still dealing with this in 2024 especially with a problem like this one the video is literally on YouTube if any real human that could operate a computer actually looked at my appeal they would be like oh okay yeah we either need to reinstate this guy's video or we have about a thousand more Community guidelines strikes to send out but that doesn't happen they say it does and if you don't have any sort of influence you can't do anything about it it would be made a little bit better if there was any consistency whatsoever but there's not my video was stried for sex and nudity I think there was no sex there was no nudity it was just people talking about sucking titties happens all the time on YouTube you can type in like breastfeeding tips and tricks Ser transparent clothes trons and you can find porn on YouTube right now the moderation the way it's enforc to support for Content creators on this website it's a joke and it's just one of those things that has been part of YouTube for so long that I think most people have kind of just accepted it as part of the game which I don't think is fair I mean something's got to change you've either got to get rid of the whole three strikes in your out thing which I think is the way to go it really feels like something as serious as a channel termination should be looked at a little bit more closely than just hey if you get three of these you're done either that has to happen or something has to be done about this stupid appeal system that doesn't actually benefit anybody it doesn't benefit the creat for obvious reasons and it just makes YouTube and Google look like because they're saying these people are reviewing these videos and they're obviously not like you can only lie about this for so long everybody knows these appeals are not actually getting looked at will anything change though probably not we've been having this discussion for like the last 10 years at least this will likely be a problem that plagues YouTube Forever which you know what I'm really happy about that's awesome people will keep losing their channels big channels will come in and cover it they'll get their Channel back rinse and repeat I mean how many times have we seen that happen there's been so much drama this year alone from stuff like this don't even get me started on the whole copyright system I mean seriously it's just time for a total revamp but I feel like I've said my piece like I said I can only make this video so many times before I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall so uh yeah hopefully that video comes back hopefully I get the strike removed but if not probably get my Channel terminated whoop ddoo hope you guys have a wonderful day I'm not it's 3:45 and I'm making this video so uh I've got to come clean I just looked at an imaginary watch see [Music] you hey hey hey hey hey
