    • Expression of love through keeping God’s commandments (1 John 2:3-6).
  • Scriptural Basis:
    • God’s commandments define how to love Him.
    • Keeping commandments is not burdensome (1 John 5:3).
    • Yeshua kept commandments as our example.

2. Walking as Yeshua Walked

  • Believers’ Walk:
    • Should mirror Yeshua’s adherence to commandments.
    • Includes Sabbath-keeping, clean eating, etc.

4. Obedience and Righteousness

  • Scriptural Teaching:
    • All scripture instructs righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).

  • Two Types of Righteousness:
    • Obedience does not save but evidences faith.
    • Complete righteousness comes from Christ.

5. Obedience as Delight

  • Biblical View:
    • God’s law is seen as delight and freedom (Psalm 1, Psalm 119).
    • New Covenant writes law on hearts (Jeremiah 31).

6. Obedience Leads to Blessings

  • Deuteronomy 11: Blessings in obedience, curse in disobedience.
  • Reward in Heaven:
    • Judgement on understanding and practicing God’s word.
    • Obedience will be rewarded (Revelation 22).

7. Obedience Defines Relationship with God
