I want to start off this video by making a clear statement that you all should know growth hormone is triggered by high intensity and with that being said I want you guys to answer truthfully in the comment section below when was the last time you trained so hard that it felt like your body was falling apart and then you continued to push past that threshold like you actually tried to break your limits to the point to where your arms and legs are flailing you're still moving but you know you don't get anything left in the tank and you're still pushing yourself some of you might be watching this video and say well I've never felt that way before and then others might be like yeah back in the day when I played sports soccer for example if I needed to get the ball I would run as fast as I could panting screaming getting there legs are screaming lungs are screaming get the ball kick it and then basically hands on your knees and you're trying to catch your breath right and it's so important to talk about this because what I want to talk about in today's video is the mindset of training and a lot of Articles and videos have been popping up my feed recently talking about how you can boost your human growth hormone your HGH by 771 percent by introducing sprinting into your workout routine a few days a week and the general rule of thumb here that they talk about is while you're out doing your runs you sprint as fast as you can for 20 to 30 seconds me personally I do more like 30 seconds to a minute but you sprint as fast as you can and to avoid a cortisol Spike you know from pushing yourself this hard you then do a rest for like 90 seconds to two minutes and you do it again and you try to work yourself up to doing that about eight times in a workout and this this really resonated with me because back in my late teens and early 20s when I was in my absolute best shape I was running and sprinting all the time all the time that's when I still lived with my mom my mom had like a split level house and the downstairs was mine as I was building this business but the my mother's house was on a main road um or like a side street to a main road and I would run down that side street kind of as my warm-up then I would get to the main road and there was a lot of stop lights and what I would do is I would put on my favorite music on my iPod and I would go to each stoplight and just instinctively I would wait while it's red you know I kind of like Pace back and forth get my body ready get pumped up find the song I want then as soon as that light turned green I would just haul ass to the next stoplight trying to race the cars obviously I could never beat them but they would look at me like oh this kid's running pretty fast but I would do that and I would end up doing it like six seven maybe eight times depending on how far I was running and I would Sprint from stop light to stop light so it's about 30 seconds to a minute depending on you know which street I was on and then I would walk to the next stop light and I would do it again do it again and I truly believe like at that point in time of course I was training in the gym but I felt my tightest I felt my strongest um I just I just overall felt incredible and as we get older we'd like to find reasons for why we don't feel like we did when we were younger right and this is still good information for those of you who might be watching this that are in your teens or early 20s so just think about this for a second a lot of us make up excuses like oh I'm approaching my 30s my my testosterone is low and blah blah blah blah guys I'm 39 I don't take any drugs no trt I don't need any of that stuff all right I might one day I don't know if I do I'll talk about it I don't need that stuff because I don't believe that our body starts to shut down when we hit 30 I believe life just happens so for example uh you finish school you find a job jobs very demanding you have to work longer hours you don't have time to go to the gym and spend two or three hours there you don't have time to go out for the runs that you used to like to do because while you're working this full-time job you're also trying to find a significant other maybe to start a family or maybe you're just hanging out with your friends and they want to go to the bar because they had a hard day at work and you guys all want to hang out whatever the case may be you find someone you get married now you've been with the same woman or say man for a long period of time and now you have kids and now you have all these other responsibilities so I think it's more more of a matter of as we get older we just get more responsibilities and it leaves less time to do the intense training that we used to do when we were younger like you have to manage your time better and I mean I'm married I just celebrated my eighth year anniversary with my wife I have a daughter we have stuff we have to do for a family but I prioritize my training every single day I have meetings all day long because I'm working on my mobile game that you guys know about I stop at five o'clock like five o'clock I go to the gym and I do what I need to do and I schedule out my runs on my schedule like literally a block of time where it just says busy because I want to make sure that I'm doing the things that I need to do to get into the shape that I want to be in and more for more even more from the physical side of things just going outside and running in general and pushing yourself that high during your Sprints does absolute wonders for your mental clarity as well it can help with anxiety depression like getting out there and pushing yourself to your absolute limit it just gives you this like overwhelming confidence that you can conquer the world maybe it's HGH kicking in who knows but everyone that I talk to that does sprinting has the same feedback they feel amazing in fact the majority of the ideas that I get for my businesses or whatever I want to do or might want to do in the future the best ones come to me when I'm running it's just does it's just so good for you physically and mentally and if it is in fact boosting your HGH by 771 percent why wouldn't you do it now if you're saying well I can't really Sprint maybe I'm you're overweight or you have problems that you're knees you can do the same thing on a bike preferably one where you're pumping your arms to probably can do it on an elliptical it's just pretty it's hard to go really fast on those things because they start shaking but there are other ways that you can do that and then some of you might also ask well what about hit training high intensity interval training and yes and no it's just it's very different doing an all-out Sprint where you're literally running as fast as you can and you're pumping your arms and your legs as fast as you can there's a difference between doing that for a minute straight and an exercise for 30 seconds to a minute straight because while you're doing that exercise although you might be pushing yourself it's it's not like a consistent thing right so like when you're sprinting and let's say you set a goal post that that's pretty far away when you can still see that goal post and you're not there yet and your body's dead like you just you look like goofy you're like running like this trying to get to that goal post and you just collapse when you get there right it's just a little different it's an all-out exertion on the entire body that I just don't think you can get from any type of exercising that you're doing and if the cardio sessions don't have to be long guys like just literally go outside 20 30 minutes you know and just find a spot where you can Sprint you know in One Direction and then maybe you rest walk around jump up and down and then Sprint back this way you don't have to go for a continuous run just find an area that's straight also running uphill can make it a little more difficult if you want to challenge yourself but start off three to four times and that's it recover two days later try again two days later try again and work yourself up to five six seven and maybe eight times Max so I just want to give my two cents on this subject because I have noticed since I started really pushing myself on these Sprints because and noticing like hey yeah when I was in my best shape I was listening to Amazing Music like 90s early 2000s music that just gets me pumped so I started bringing that playlist back because it puts me in that mindset I was in back then and I'm doing sprints and I feel freaking amazing so give it a shot let me know what you think in the comment section below and as always more good stuff coming soon see you guys
