today we're pulling back the curtain on 15 of the most dangerous false teachers twisting scripture and deceiving millions You will know them by their fruits Let's unmask these wolves and examine why their teachings are so dangerous Stick with me until the end because number one isn't just controversial He's the spiritual leader of over a billion souls Number 15 Al Sharpton Al Sharpton carries the title Reverend but his ministry has nothing to do with biblical Christianity Instead of preaching repentance and salvation Sharpton uses religious language as a tool to push political agendas His sermons rarely mention sin salvation or Jesus as the only way They focus almost exclusively on racial grievances and social justice completely divorced from the gospel's call to holiness What makes Sharpton dangerous is his stance against clear biblical teachings He openly supports abortion and same-sex marriage positions that directly contradict scripture By endorsing what God calls sin Sharpton shows himself to be a friend of the world rather than a friend of God His public life has been marred by corruption facing investigations for tax evasion while using his nonprofit as a personal piggy bank As one commentator bluntly stated Al Sharpton is not a minister He's a politician in preachers clothes But the next name on our list might be even more deceptive because he preaches compromise disguised as unity Number 14 James Robinson James Robinson once a hard-hitting Southern Baptist evangelist has drifted into dangerous compromise Through his Life Today TV program Robinson has fostered unity with the Roman Catholic Church a move many see as spiritual treason In 2014 Robinson made headlines by meeting with Pope Francis alongside prosperity preachers He was so enamored during this Vatican meeting that he famously gave the Pope a high five For discerning Christians this was shocking essentially treating the Pope as a fellow believer despite Catholicism's many heresies Robinson openly apologized for his earlier years of fighting liberal theology now preferring a non-confrontational unity message that embraces false teachers Critics charged that Robinson turned away from reproving sin and false teaching and instead embraced a judge not posture that tolerates serious error By treating the Pope who prays to a wafer and to Mary as a brother in Christ Robinson validates Rome's false gospel betraying the reformation truths he once stood for Just when you think the compromise couldn't get worse wait until you hear what the next man on our list said about Jesus mission on earth Number 13 John Hegy John Hegy the Texas pastor and author of End Times Books has made doctrinal compromises that undermine the gospel In 2007 Hegy released in Defense of Israel claiming Jesus did not come to earth to be the Messiah and that Jewish people didn't reject Jesus since he refused by word and deed to be the Messiah This amounts to dual covenant theology a heretical idea that Jews can be saved apart from faith in Christ It's a blatant contradiction of scripture which declares Jesus is Israel's Messiah and that there's no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Hegy's promotional video trumpeted that his book would shake Christian theology by proving Jesus never claimed to be Messiah A claim scholars called heresy at its worst Under backlash Hegy attempted to clarify but many remain convinced he teaches a dangerous error that nullifies evangelism to Jewish people Are you shocked yet well the next person on our list claims he speaks with the dead Number 12 Rick Joiner In his book The Final Quest Joiner describes conversing with the spirits of dead believers including the Apostle Paul who allegedly tells him "Even in this conversation I can only confirm what I have already written but you still have much writing to do." Joiner treats these encounters as real spiritual experiences using them to affirm his own ministry This is necromancy which scripture explicitly forbids Even worse Joiner justifies the practice by pointing to the transfiguration arguing that if Jesus spoke with Moses and Elijah modern believers can too This is a twisted misuse of scripture that dangerously blurs the line between biblical prophecy and occultism By elevating personal visions about the authority of God's word Joiner leads others into deception fulfilling Jeremiah 23:16 They speak a vision of their own heart not from the mouth of the Lord If this is already blowing your mind hit that like button and stay with me because the heresies only get bolder from here Number 11 Rodney Howard Brown Rodney Howard Brown styles himself the Holy Ghost bartender famous for igniting the 1990s laughing revival His meetings feature chaotic manifestations people doubling over in uncontrollable laughter behaving drunk or unconscious all supposedly due to the Holy Spirit Howard Brown encourages this disorder with irreverent phrases like Holy Ghost bartender implying he's serving up drinks of the spirit In his services crowds literally act intoxicated with Howard Brown comparing the Holy Spirit to spiritual alcohol that makes one stagger and laugh Such phenomena have no biblical precedent God is not the author of confusion Yet Howard Brown's meetings are rife with confusion and outlandish behavior Many Pentecostal leaders have denounced holy laughter as a counterfeit fleshly spirit more akin to a condundolini trend than the dignified work of the Holy Spirit If you think that's strange just wait until you hear about the man who promoted a Bible that oozed oil Number 10 Sid Roth Sid Roth specializes in the sensational and bizarre on his It's Supernatural program He regularly features alleged prophets seers and miracle workers many of whom have been proven fraudulent or theologically deviant For instance Roth heavily promoted a supposed miracle where a Bible kept supernaturally producing anointing oil Roth's guests proclaimed "Everywhere I took that Bible oil just kept coming." The story drew attention until it was exposed as a hoax The man had been buying gallons of mineral oil and soaking the Bible This pattern is common on Roth's show He gives airtime to guests claiming gold dust falls from the sky or that they visited heaven daily or that they can teach you a formula to see angels Global viewers are drawn in But the miracles are often unverified and absurd amounting to Christian occultism But while Sid Roth sells the supernatural the next preacher turns the sacred into a circus one cringe-worthy stunt at a time Number nine Mike Todd Pastor Michael Todd has become infamous for his flashy shock value sermons and over-the-top stage antics Rather than rightly dividing the word Todd resorts to cringe-worthy stunts to make a point In a 2022 sermon he spat into his hand and smeared it onto a man's face on stage to mimic Jesus healing the blind an act many found shockingly irreverent and unhygienic Then in 2024 he poured syrup and whipped cream over a Bible during a sermon reducing God's word to a stage prop for shock value The most egregious example was Transformation Church's 2023 Easter production Ransom Todd turned Resurrection Sunday into a 2-hour spectacle with flashy lights secular pop songs dancers twerking in demonic costumes and even a scene of costumed demons yanking Jesus off the cross Theologically Todd's messages are thin on scripture and heavy on pop culture inspiration and self-help catchphrases pushing the boundaries of reverence while profaining what is sacred While Todd desecrates scripture for attention the next preacher rewrites it altogether Number eight Joseph Prince Joseph Prince leads the dangerous hyper grace movement preaching an ultra-ositive message that downplays sin repentance and Christ's call to holiness While Prince's books and sermons extol God's grace he pushes it to an unbiblical extreme He teaches that once we are in Christ we should never again confess our sins because God has forgiven even future sins And to confess is to focus on sin consciousness Prince literally writes "You do not need to confess your sins again and again to be forgiven According to him the Lord's prayer forgive us our trespasses does not apply to Christians." This outright contradicts Jesus' own instruction that believers should ask daily forgiveness Prince also asserts that God never judges or disciplines believers claiming "You will never find an example of God punishing a believer for his sins in the new covenant." If Prince minimizes repentance the next man teaches that your words not God have the power to shape your destiny Number seven Andrew Womac Andrew WAC preaches that Christians have nearly unlimited authority to decree outcomes and that any lack of health or success is due to insufficient faith He explicitly teaches the heretical positive confession doctrine claiming our words have creative power like God's In his commentary on Matthew 18:18 WAC says "We can actually bind up the positive results of sewing and reaping in godly people and lose the attacks of Satan against them by the words we speak." This is a direct twist of scripture treating words as magical forces Likewise WAC teaches an extreme form of faith healing He argues believers should never pray for God's will or ask God to heal but rather should command healing themselves The Lord never told us to pray for the sick He told us to heal the sick Wac writes urging Christians to operate in the authority and heal people by their own decree Such an approach effectively makes the Christian not God the source of healing power setting people up for disillusionment and guilt when healing doesn't come Next up a woman whose entire ministry is built on turning the gospel into a business transaction Number six Paula White Paula White is a prominent prosperity gospel televangelist who served as a spiritual adviser to President Trump but her teachings stray far from biblical truth She is notorious for preaching a seed faith prosperity message urging people to sew large financial gifts to her ministry in exchange for God's blessings In one 2016 sermon White claimed someone was being spoken to by God to sew $1,144 as a resurrection seed promising that by giving that specific amount they would see resurrection life miracles Christian leaders across the spectrum have condemned these tactics as exploitative and heretical Southern Baptist theologian Russell Moore flatly called White a charlatan and a heretic by every Orthodox Christian standard Beyond prosperity preaching Paula White has espoused word of faith doctrines that undermine Christ's uniqueness Famously she taught on TBN that Jesus Christ is not the only begotten son of God but rather the first among many implying we are all as divine as Jesus The next man has made prosperity his platform using Easter itself as a fundraising tool Number five Rod Parsley Rod Parsley is a veteran of the televangelist circuit and an unabashed proponent of the word of faith prosperity gospel His messages consistently center on sewing financial seeds to reap miraculous breakthroughs teaching a different gospel that equates Jesus work with guaranteeing material riches Every year at Easter Parsley urges followers to give a special resurrection seed offering of $1,000 or more promising that this sacrifice will unlock resurrection power in their lives He even offers donors thank you gifts for those $1,000 plus seeds effectively merchandising God's blessing These tactics demonstrate what Titus 1:1 describes false teachers who for the sake of sorted gain upset whole families with what they should not teach Parsley famously preaches "To reap a perpetual harvest you need to sew a perpetual seed I got a need for seed turning giving into a slot machine mechanism." Biblically giving is to be done freely not under compulsion or for self-enrichment But parsley makes it a pressured obligation tied to one's miracle But if selling miracles is bad what about adding new chapters to the Bible number four Brian Simmons Brian Simmons is the author of the Passion Translation a controversial Bible that scholars say isn't a translation at all But Simmons's own doctrinal spin on scripture Simmons lacks the credentials in Greek or Hebrew that true Bible translators require Instead he claims an angel physically appeared to him and declared that his life's calling was to bring forth a new translation of the Bible one that would capture the passion of God's heart like never before In one interview Simmons even said the Lord showed him a new chapter John 22 which he has yet to reveal essentially asserting extra biblical scripture Such claims of direct inspiration and secret knowledge bringnosticism and add to God's word violating Revelation 22:18 Furthermore Simmons's Passion translation adds massive amounts of text not found in the original manuscripts making some books 50% longer than in standard Bibles Dr Andrew Sheided head of the Old Testament in Hebrew at Moore Theological College in Sydney Australia warned that the Passion translation no longer counts as scripture By masquerading as a Bible it threatens to bind entire churches enthralled to a false god Simmons is particularly dangerous because his translation appears legitimate to undescerning believers while changing God's word itself And now we move to a modern-day prophetist whose predictions consistently fail but whose influence keeps growing Number three Julie Green Julie Green presents herself as a prophetist delivering near daily prophetic words heavily focused on American politics Her prophecies have been extremely specific and extremely wrong Yet her followers continue to believe her words come directly from God Green once prophesied that a certain prominent politician would die on a specific date An event that definitively did not happen Even charismatic leader Mario cited this failed prophecy as a prime example of why such voices must be held accountable Her videos are rife with sensational claims explosive exposures and imminent divine judgments against public figures that never materialize making her prophecies a false witness in God's name Theologically Green's emphasis on nationalist politics over the gospel and her presumptuous dates and details violate biblical tests for true prophecy But if Green is reckless the next man is absolutely theatrical with prophecies so wild even fellow charismatics have called him out Number two Robin D Bullock Robin Bullock rose to prominence in ultra charismatic circles for his flamboyant prophecies many of which have proven blatantly false He repeatedly declared that Donald Trump would remain or quickly return as president prophesying that President Biden would be removed by the eyides of March 2021 March came and went with no such event marking Bulock as a false prophet under Deuteronomy 18:22 He refused to repent instead doubling down on prophetic narratives Even fellow charismatics have rebuked Bulock In 2023 evangelist Mario publicly denounced him as a false prophet whose prophetic swamp was discrediting the faith Bulock has taught bizarre unbiblical doctrines For example claiming God the Father keeps himself inside a cube in heaven to contain his power a notion with no scriptural basis Such outlandish teachings reveal a man who fabricates revelations rather than proclaiming God's truth What makes Bulock particularly dangerous is his theatrical delivery and absolute confidence which convince vulnerable believers that his words come directly from God And finally we reach the most powerful and spiritually dangerous figure on the list Number one the Pope The Pope stands as the spiritual figurehead of a counterfeit religious system that twists the gospel beyond recognition Instead of preaching salvation by grace through faith alone the papacy pushes a worksbased system propped up by sacraments rituals and human effort Under the Pope's leadership the Roman Catholic Church elevates tradition over scripture declares priests as mediators and promotes a false gospel that cannot save One of the most blasphemous aspects of the papal system is the treatment of Mary Catholics claim they only venerate her not worship her But when you're praying to her crowning her with titles meant for God and calling her the queen of heaven and co-redemptrics that's not just respect That's idolatry Scripture makes it clear There is one mediator between God and man the man Christ Jesus The Pope leads billions to kneel before statues recite prayers to saints and trust in indulgences and rituals instead of the finished work of Christ The Catholic Mass is a denial of Christ's completed sacrifice claiming to represent his body and blood on altars worldwide Far from being a course correction the election of Robert Pvost as Pope Leo I 14th is a bold endorsement of the Vatican's ongoing slide into theological compromise Leo I 14th has wasted no time signaling that he would double down on the reformist and increasingly apostate trajectory set by Pope Francis This new pontiff openly celebrates Francis's legacy a legacy steeped in doctrinal ambiguity interfaith syncratism and progressive social agendas He praises Francis as a man who challenged norms and built an inclusive church But behind that veneer of compassion lies a devastating
