So today we're going to talking about um technical analysis last week we talked about fundamental today we're going to talk about technicals so last week we talked about more of the um fundamental and also the side that's had to deal more with the news today we'll deal with more with the charts so personally I use this particular platform called trading View about trading some people use metat Trader 4 which is fine and then some people use other things but most bro uh so Brokers most traders that I know use trading view so technical analysis is basically using the chart to make educated guests on on where the market is going to go so I'm GNA share with you guys a bit of um what I do so these are some of the things that we will talk about today number one we'll talk about Market structure number two we'll talk about patterns number three we'll talk about entries well finding an entry sorry and then um something called Fibonacci which is fibs and then um we'll also talk about entering the market so these are the five things that we will deal with so the first one is Market structure when it comes to technicals it's more about knowing if the trend is up or going up or coming down so in trading when the market is going up look for buys and when it's uh going down we look for sales um so technical analysis we look to an analyze where the market is going now there are many ways on how to go with Market structure when it comes to Market structure you can go with something called Lower highs and and then higher highs and higher lows let me write this down quick and then higher okay then we have hold on I like to be very organized I'm trying um okay then we have moving averages moving average now there are many different types of moving averages personally I use something called EMA or EMA or is it SMA as well Yesa cor I'll show you guys how to how to find it list so on on a normal um Market structure it's not we look for the trend based off of on an uptrend based of a higher highs and higher lows so this here is an example of how the market should look like the the very top of the of a move is called a higher high and the bottom of it is called higher low so in order to see an uptrend you need to see both higher highs and higher low B so basically how it works is that the higher high is this very top [Music] and then a higher low is this the bottom of it so in other words a higher high is like the top of a mountain and then a higher low is like the valley the very bottom H scol and higher low isina so in order to see a trend you got to have two or more higher highs and higher lows so just like um I'm marking up here so again in order to have an uptrend you need to see two higher highs and two higher higher lows or more are we are we following so another way to tell a trend is something called a trend line a trend line is basically a line that is diagonal that tells you that gives you the direction of the market so on an uptrend you want to draw your trend line at the higher lows this can give you the this can tell you the direction of where the market is going can we all see is it easier to tell that the market is going up so generally when we are um looking at the market this is one way that we can look at it you see the difference between this and then also fundamental trading is that we can actually know by by seeing so more people like technicals than fundamental so in a case like this right the um the pattern should be that it breaks the previous High which would be right here which is the higher high and then it comes back to create a higher low so this is considered um a break and retest this is also how some people find their entries because the market always move like this but it's not that simple so in a sense a higher high or a previous higher high can be your entry so let's say the market is here right now and let's say that we identified that this is an uptrend because there are two or more higher highs and higher lows so now we're expecting the market to move up past this and then it will come back down and this will be our entry I promise you this is how the market moves all the time are we following so far let me know in the chat box yes or no let's see look at them okay good good good okay so when when we're looking for the trend right I have one more thing that I use so now I'm going to go go to a regular chart and actually um give you an example of how an uptrend looks like so if you want to take a screenshot please go ahead and do so I give like 15 seconds one two three four and I'll all right got like 10 more seconds and let me actually take a screenshot myself okay all right are we ready yes yes yes yes okay so let me go to another random actually let me stay here all right so let's delete all right so let's say for example we're looking at as an uptrend I like to look at this more so on SE called the line chart now this is not something you have to do it's just preference so what I'll do here is by the way does this look like an uptrend or downtrend why so I ask us a lot because if we don't know why it's an uptrend that's a big problem yes we can see some uptrend but now we're talking about [Music] technicals Mara got it right because it's higher highs and higher lows low lows higher lows see I for a second now if I were to ask you about where the higher highs and higher lows is is can you um can you tell me where it is so as we learn this today our homework is to be able to go ahead and Market up ourselves so here we have a higher high here and a higher low then higher high higher low higher high higher low then we have a higher low higher higher high higher low and then another one here even though small L high high low okay high and high right so I'm not going toite everyone so as you can see the high is higher than the than the it's a pattern the higher this high is higher than this one this high is higher than this one this higher than this one high than this one right and then and then the lows right you can see that this low is higher than this one this low is higher than this one this low that's why it's called higher low so anytime that someone asks you hey do we see higher highs or higher lows or lower highs lower lows just think about this that the high is higher than the other one and the low is higher than the other low that's what that means now we can also remember I said we can also draw a trend line right so the trend line could gives us give us Direction just like this does this make it easier to see that it's an uptrend now you can also draw a trend line on top so basically where the higher Highs are so locate the higher highs and then draw a line is this easier for you to see that it's an uptrend see trading is not that hard once you learn it at first when you first looked at this right some of us probably like oh what is going on but now that we have markups you can clearly see that okay that that's a bit much easier so based on what we see right we have a direction of where the market could go to right so it can go up to this trend line and go back here to this other trend line so there's something called back testing the further back you go the stronger this line is are we following so far if if there's any questions go ahead and drop it in the chat Adrian said I know I saw it too that's funny okay um is is there a question I see something but I'm I'm not sure what it say can uh okay so the question is when are we uh when is it sure that the trend is changing okay we'll okay we'll talk about that in a in a bit no go ahead go ahead so that's where the patterns come in there's actually I think Alexandra has one more question okay okay so one more question do we always check the trend on the 4our time frame or is it just an example here great question so this is an example so as a scalper you want to check the trend on a 15-minute time frame as a day trader you want to check it on the 4 Hour as a um swing Trader you want to check it on a daily time frame so it's very important that you know what type of Trader that you are do everybody here know if they're scalper day trader or swing Trader do everybody know that see okay if you do what type of Trader are you did you ask me or in general no no just for everybody okay I think we there is a 50/50 in the Polish team usually between sculping and they trading yeah yeah I figured I figured okay yeah you're right because I see scalping day trading you're right okay okay cool so again if you're a scalper 15 minute time frame but you want to enter on the one minute if you're a day trader you want to um start from the 4 Hour but you enter the 15 minute okay now now let's let's look at a downtrend so on a downtrend let me go to downtrend let me see 's on the world okay let's see okay cool all right so on the downtrend you have lower highs and lower lows so it looks like this please don't laugh at me because I'm not artist so you have lower highs and then lower lows okay so okay so lower highs and lower lows wait I confused polish is a difficult [Laughter] language so here you can see that this low is lower than I mean I mean this high is lower than this high so when you hear when you hear lower high it just saying that the high is lower than the previous High just like a lower low this low lower than this low I hope this is not confusing no one because I know it can get very confusing is everybody okay good get very very very very confusing okay okay so just just like on an uptrend you can also draw a trend line so on a downtrend you draw a bearish trend line on the lower highs so you always want to look for the highs and then Mark it down so one thing that I I also teach with Manara is that the zones if you guys remember buy Zone and sell zone so in this case when we see something like this it's inside of the Sal Zone me [Music] so the opposite of uptrend right when it's a uptrend it should be in the buy zone so when we see a trend like this right we're always looking for a sell at the previous at the previous low in so we want the market to break and then retest all right so one way to find an entry is to always look for or the entry at the previous lower low on the downtrend is this making sense or no we're lost yeah they're saying it's okay they're a tough crowd okay I I don't want to lose nobody yeah it's all good okay all right now when we're talking about technicals right this is why I love technical because we're able to make educated [Music] guests if you want to um take a screenshot first of all can we can we give her for scarlet drop a sub in the chat for scarlet because she doing an amazing job thank you I appreciate it I know I know I know it's not easy trying to translate a Forex that's that's it's not easy I know all of these words in English and now I'm trying to figure it out in Polish it's amazing Okay so let's look at an example of how it would look like on a on a chart let's go to 15 minute all let's let me go to break it down so I want us to look at this on a as a scalper that might not work let's see I'm trying to find a good example okay that's not going to work okay okay here all right so we have some lower highs and lower lows [Music] inish DOI yeah Nish DOI out here in Poland it's all good so lower high all right so I'm able to identify because I've been able to mark up the charts over the years so as you're learning this you also have to do the same thing that I'm doing okay so you can also draw a trend line as well somebody said in the chat that you're going to be fluent in Polish after these I hope so I hope so so just like this right I'm drawing a trend line off of the lower highs the reason why I like to use a line chart is because of this I came to find out that I miss a lot of entries if I use the Wicks uh can you repeat that so I said that um I realized that I lose a lot of I mean I don't get good entries because of the Wicks I don't know what said but so look at this you see the big gaps so I personally I always like to look for the um the Candlestick the line chart sorry you definitely said more than I said I explained like the difference between the wick and the body of the okay I like hold on I didn't say all that it's all good okay so now let's talk about something very important somebody asked earlier about Trend reversal so one of the ways to tell a trend reversal is by knowing where on a downtrend knowing exactly where the last lower high was visual so in it's um was that was it e what was that I before I forgot okay it's okay so um what it call a trend reversal one of the trend reversals is when the market on a downtrend passes the previous lower [Music] high okay so as you can see here right the trend reversed because it came back to the previous lower high and it broke it so in a sense like this usually we want it to come to this particular point and then come back down but in this sense right if it goes and passes the previous High which is here the trend has been broken so inside of here is is no trading does that make sense so here is a a lower high so on a downtrend if it breaks a lower high the trend has is broken so on the uptrend is the opposite let me try to see I go on up we have higher highs and higher lows so usually we wanted it to come to the previous higher high to go back up but structure is broken once it pass the previous lower low right so in this case it's broken once break the lower low isn't it higher low I mean higher low sorry sorry sorry so once this is happening that means that we're seeing lower highs and lower lows [Music] for I know it gets confusing I know that that I know okay are we following are we okay where do we put the entry so in this case the entry will be where where the previous low low is I know we're going very deeping somebody said they're a little bit lost yeah ask them um exactly what what it is that they lost about let me see if they said it let me see if they said it uh okay she she asked that that she's a little bit lost does it often happen that a trend reverses no to tend but but we don't know when it's G to happen awesome Adam uh let me see is there anything else before I move on no no we can we can go we can move okay okay so the next thing I want to talk about um I know I talked about structure the next I want to talk about is actual entries I know I'm going fast but have you guys ever heard of support and resistance so if you haven't support and resistance is basically something called price reversal Zone AKA entry so let's say for example this is a house and this is this is Scarlet long hair oh my God I don't know if I should be offended or [Laughter] whatti sck to trading stick to Trading look like an elephant love it right and let's say this is let me see let's say this is this is Adrian right is Adrian now depending where you are right you have a roof and you have a floor correct so hopefully everybody is in the it's in the building that has a roof and have a floor the roof is considered our resistance and the floor is considered our support so when we talk about support and resistance it's basically talking about a roof and a floor and let's say we have someone else um let's say we have Monica right and she's above here so someone else roof is somebody else floor and somebody else floor is somebody else roof so so when we're trading the Forex Market we have the same concept so on an uptrend we buy at the floor on a downtrend we we sell at the resistance so let's say for example right we have a downtrend right this how I look at it I look at it as a imaginary building so resistance is always the roof so if it's a downtrend you're you're trying to look for the retest on the roof to come back down so remember I talked about structure right so the structure starts where did I say we draw our um our our entry on a downtrend is a is where the lower low is so the first place of Entry should be when the market breaks because right now watch this because right now this will be our support so write this down we sell at the resistance all right so currently right now this is uh support so do we sell there oops oops okay there we [Music] go should that wait can you repeat that last sentence please because I don't want yeah yeah no no problem I said currently WR now this is our support is this where we sell the answer should be no so that means that we have to wait for the market to break go ahead so once it breaks the this now makes it our our roof or resistance jerck exactly exactly jerck so then you wait wait for the retest and then this is where you sell are we okay or are we are we completely lost I know I'm going a bit fast okay we have some strong people here they're saying it's okay okay now if you're lost right you might want to you might want to watch it twice so we sell our resistance and buy support exactly exactly okay all right now let's look at an uptrend all so on on uptrend we have of course our higher highs so again I draw my imaginary house per se right and we have the roof which is the resistance and we have the floor which is a support on a on an uptrend we buy at support so we always want to locate where the support is one way to think about it is where the previous high is so that could be here or that could be here right so in this case we we wait for to see where the market is going to go so it could go here to the support or it could break this and now this would not not be a resistance no more but it be out floor and then we can buy there so when I trade I always have two areas that I'm looking to enter the market or buy or sell
