hey everyone welcome to this very own channel by juice628 and i'm your friend your mentor your teacher saurabh today is our next one very important milestone i would say the milestone is force and pressure it's a one-shot session means we'll be covering this whole chapter in one go which makes it a very important session right it's okay i'm not here right now you understand it's the premiere but what i want to do is i want you to be active in the chat yes at least you have your classmates over here right which means you all can just keep on answering keep on checking if everyone is doing good or not i will make sure i will not leave any stone unturned you will learn everything i want you to be active yes this is the force in pressure one shot will cover it end to end all right so let's begin make sure you have your notebook your pen and your confidence ready with you all right so let's begin by the way this the video which you saw in the starting was of the akash national talent tent exam the anthony exam we are calling it it's a very important very prestigious i would say ah an exam which is on all india level tests you in a very very i would say comprehensive and competitive way so what did i get we all want some things scholarship chance for you to win if you do well you will get all in your rank that's what i told you already apart from that you will also get cash rewards so people who do well they also get cash rewards for mock and they test if you are given an exam which you are not very sure of japanese it's always good to have mock tests yes you will get mock tests you know the moment you register by the registration link is in the description it's a good habit to check the description boiler check links make sure you check out the ante registration link and the moment you do it you will get four and the mock tests free sir see this rocket what if you do well you have a chance of winning an all expenses paid trip to nasa venasa the rocket right so make sure you do well you make sure you register because exam is on 5th to 13th of november right and 6th to 13th of november is the offline one so online offline you have both the things both options available for you it's your call what do you want to take registration is free all of you can give this exam yes all right so people make sure you spread the word and make sure you register i want all of my students to just register in your but still register okay that is important ticket yes now but sir what are you giving us exam revision notes pdfs mock test questions one shot marathons exam focus questions doubt solving a strategy session the sub karnayam look right we are making sure that you are an all rounder from every corner you get everything that you need or not just board wise not just subject wise all over learning to get escalate what you have to do is how will you get to know all of this if you are a subscriber to the channel make sure you push the subscribe button right now bulldog all right people let's start learning about force force may the force be with you look at this when one person was pushing this card the card was moving fine notice notice no no but suddenly when another boy came and started pushing the speed increases and correct that's what we just saw yes so force is something we all know every day since the day you were born actually you were you were in i would say in surrounding of force you knew the concept of force you just might not understand it subjectively as an concept which you can use an example like in force all right what are the four sub say easy definition we say it's a push or a pull like he's in here there are two ways in which you can apply a force push or pull either you push something or you pull something what the raspberry there are push and pull written on the doors to just make you understand to open this door you have to either push apply the force in the forward direction or you pull apply force in the backward direction but yeah yeah force could be a push or a pull nice so push we all know what is push pull we all know what is pull nice all right all right that's a unity authorship unit is something which i would say is pretty easy to remember because it is based on the name of a scientist a very famous scientist sir isaac newton right so the unit is newton whenever you are writing the complete name of the unit make sure you start with small n okay newton me and capital new government when you are writing symbol let's say 20 newton so 20 newton okay when you are writing 20 to happen 20 newton got it this is like a convention of writing units but just for your knowledge of course to get all right so up let's talk about examples what could be examples are easy examples whatever you push that is also a force for example you kick a football you are pushing it you are applying force nice pushing a box where do you pull when you open a drawer yes sir when i pull a friend yes sir anna so all these are pulling drawing water from well either you draw it like this or it's through a pulley and you do it like this whatever you do you are pulling yes so this is example of pulling fine what could be the causes of force right so we understood force what can force do that's that's another important concept so see i'm trying to explain you from uh i would say subjective interactive perspective also but for you i would say all these are concepts and they are being asked in exams like this what is force what could be the effects of force this is one kind of question it could be coming up long answer question also so right now let's talk about the cause of force first of all force we have talked about what is force second question is what is the cause of force ana how does force come into picture case force cause of force right cause of forces interaction of an object with another now interaction interaction is a it's a very subjective word why is it because it depends on how you how you just perceive it interaction every interaction right this is also interaction or even if i do interaction so two objects need to interact but safe word behavior if i would have said touch it would have been correct but not completely if i would if i would have said two objects need to uh you know do something interaction is the word okay so why i'm emphasizing on this word interaction is we tend to forget this word interaction make sure you understand this interaction between the two objects that's something which we all realize but we have seen this you know the hammer striking the hammer game to see how what do i say how strong you are yes second is this is what billiards pool whatever you want to call it uh two objects are interacting stick interacting with the ball ball interactive with a group of balls and all of them are going here and there it's all interaction by the way right take an interaction word madhul na bhajiri all right effects of force we have talked about what is force we are talking about force how it come into being right the causes of force now we effects of force force can bring a body in rest to come to a state of motion if somebody is at rest right i can bring it into motion but how by applying force hannah i can apply force bring a rest body into motion nice or i can bring a body in motion to come at rest so that's also true focus on my this hand this is in motion if i catch it i apply force and bring it to rest yes so these are two kinds of effects of force and a pair from rest to motion a force can bring your body in second is uh if a body is moving force can bring this body to rest take it motion sorry rest emotion and motions are rest two things are possible nice but it's not it's that's not all can change the speed of a moving body so from rest to motion motion to rest if you just make it more technical in the way you are saying you can say force can change the speed of a moving body correct nice all right second change in direction possible change interaction is possible can say if you you might i have done a video by the way on the channel you know how you play cricket and you know application the force in cricket so if a ball is coming to you and a batsman just gives a nick ball goes behind hannah small sweep shot says they both force the guy you haven't applied a lot of force but what you did was you just change the direction so you can change direction something is going a ball is coming to you and you say and it goes there hannah yes change in direction is also possible because of force all right or get them look change in shape yes sir change in shape how to change shape by if you have an object and a malware tissue if i apply force i can make it like a ball yeah ball to me something small right yes so this is what i can do with i can change the shape of the body so what we have discussed force can either change the speed change the direction or change the shape of a body you know you can change the shape nice so these are all the effects of force possible what types of forces right so just see the reason i'm just emphasizing or just summarizing everything in between is so that you understand flow flow how it came into being the cause of force what are the effects of force now types of forces right let's talk about the types of forces one is contact force the name itself is giving you an idea contact contact without touching you can't apply this force so what is the contact force contact forces two or more objects that are in physical contact with each other i touched it no that's why i i was able to apply this contact force right so contact force needs physical touch fine example muscular force so contact force is a type of force in which muscular force another force which your muscles exert you cannot actually push an object without touching your muscles are doing the job that's true but your muscles if they want to just you know move something they want to apply force onto something you can't do it like this until unless you are like a superhuman nanna right so that is why muscular force it needs physical touch right okay nice any other force for contact frictional force if two bodies are in contact then only friction can come into being otherwise friction how will friction come sir if i throw an object it is in the air but there should be no friction it is still in touch when this object is in the air it is still in touch with something a friction high speed cable air itself my air is trying to push this moving object in the opposite direction ssa so air is touching it that's why friction force is there right so two types of forces which are contact forces you know contact is a broad category of force usually force important muscular force frictional force fine all right next so if there is a contact force matlab there should be something a non-contact force matlab you don't have to touch a body to apply the force yes you know what maybe you don't realize it but something again since your childhood you have been seeing it just we are talking about this non-contact objects are not in physical contact with each other without touching you can apply this force means gravitational force right earth if you ask me earth is up just applying a force on everything around it and not just to everything which is touching it that is the gravitational force take ticket by if you look at this this small animation over here the apple right the apple was on a tree you shake the tree ssa the apple falls so when i throw this why is it coming back to earth because something is pulling it down who is pulling it down earth is pulling me down because of what because of the gravitational force of the earth so whatever body if i tell you the truth so in 11th class we learn about this every particle whichever has mass is going to apply the gravitational force to its surrounding particles you know it's a weak force but still it is there right so gravitational force is actually a non-contact force you don't need physical contact for this apart from that electrostatic force this one is so i think you all know about this electrostatic force how does it work two charged objects or i would say instead of two charge of this just take charged objects right charge objects can apply force to near you know the surrounding object you might have done this thing you might have taken a plastic pen you have to go scale or say you might have done and then you might have done this to you hey you might have called your friend yes you know you just do bits and pieces of paper scale or shall you might have seen paper now they start being attracted to the scale without touching the papers are getting attracted to the scale why force is there see first of all notice the effect effect is sir paper is being attracted because i can see them moving you know i can see an effect effective force effective force okay paper it got attracted its speed changes or i would say it's state of motion changes but why because there was a force constant force some force which does not require physical contact is called an electrostatic force because of charged objects so charged objects are able to apply electrostatic force without touching each other fine by the way we know this right like charges do not like each other unlike charges they like each other like judges boldness i don't want to see your face unlike charitable there is no this happens no yes magnetic force so it is again i would say you have played with magnets for very long time counter magnets if you have a broken down earphone or a speaker or anything they have a magnet inside it so that magnet we all know whenever you take the magnet to another magnet or another magnetic material you bring it clear near to it it goes it sticks to it force was there because i saw an effect i saw the body at rest coming into motion true then yeah that moving magnet stopping the cause was some force which did not require contact yes sir that was fine but what could be the force could it be electrostatic yes so magnetic force was the reason for this so that's why this is another type of force which is a non-contact force all right till now we have discussed about forces types of forces causes of forces effective forces net forces what is the net force net muslim force listen to me net force if i take let's say this remote from this side i'm pushing the remote sas and you both start pushing it if i remove this one it will go here if i remove this one it'll go here but if both are pushing it is not moving so net force is actually telling you it does not matter of only one force or two force individually think of how many forces are you know being acted upon the body means effect of force is being talked about because of net force by if the body is at rest is come at love for is it can i say there is no force on this body for yes its weight is working downwards my hand is pushing it upwards so forces are there but still this body is not changing in the state still this body that you know at rest net force is zero for individually the forces are there but net force is zero right so a body will only show you change in state motion direction shape if there is a net force concept is just a combination of whatever you learn till now okay net force it is sum of all the forces acted on an object just this boy was pulling this uh cupboard you know with a force of 10 units or 10 newtons you know this by the way right 10 newtons let's see and this boy is pushing with 10 newtons now notice the direction this boy is pulling matlab this boy is pulling in this direction right or okay just don't see my left see your left uh it is posing and pushing in this direction this boy is also pushing in this direction okay means that if we if we just look for a while direction of force is same one boy is doing that direction he's pulling in that direction another boy is pushing in that direction so if we think about force both the forces are in the same direction they will support each other they will get added total force kidnapped either 10 plus 10 it will be 20 units simple right if it was opposite they will cancel out each other they will be opposing each other they will cancel each other out fine so resultant force or net force is the same thing just understand this in words forces acting in the same direction addition of their magnitudes resultant force acts in the common direction easier if both the force direction same if both the forces in the same direction they will support each other they will get added and resultant the net force is in direction of their combined direction the same direction right okay if they are opposing each other for example this one is this boy is pushing with 15 newton 15 units or this boy is pushing for 10 units but if you notice that boy that boy is pushing with 15 units in this direction this boy is pushing with 10 units who is stronger that boy why because he is applying more force 15 newton 10 newton so this is like the mahabharata two arrows come the stronger one wins and weaker one goes like this 15 newton is more means 15 minus 10 they both are opposing who will win with greater force okay so that's why it will be 15 minus 10 net force is 5 newton in which direction in that direction of greater force right is direction correct so forces acting in opposite direction difference of their magnitudes you have to subtract them resultant force acting direction of larger force easier intuitively it's all something which we all know i'm just telling you how to answer it or how to write it in exams fine ticket cello let's take a concept of balanced and unbalanced forces they go there are multiple words you have seen till now you have seen net force you have seen resultant force this is actually the effect or i would say overall segregation of uh these net and resultant force so how balanced force right balanced force the net force acting on an object is equal to zero if equal forces are opposing each other either like this or this they both are cancelling each other out net force resultant force will be this minus this or this minus this it will be zero so when the resultant or net force is zero we call it balanced forces it's not difficult understand this balanced like a weighing balance what do you get finally you get a balance means equal on both sides so balance force kabat have a net force is zero fine unbalanced force kabata unbalance force out there the net force acting on an object is not equal to zero so unbalanced is there is a net force or resultant force which is not 0 then it is unbalanced force but easier 10 newton 5 newton resultant will be 10 minus 5 that is finally in which direction in this direction right this is the resultant force nice easy fine so this is all about forces but apart from forces there is something else which we see in our daily lives have you noticed that whenever if you are a fan of cricket the stumps have like a pointy end and when you want to just you know put those terms in the it goes down we all understand this if that end was not pointy it would have been hell of a task to just get them into the ground this is something else entirely yes force is there but you know what to see a final effect of if a body is going inside or not it's not just on force you know you can't say if a body is flat if a stump is flat right if i let's say if i take this this color remote white voila you know this is kind of a thick remote if i take this start it will go no it will not go down there are two ways you can say first you can say this no your force is not enough but it's not about force there is something else entirely working over here what we call it pressure right so pressure is the perpendicular force acting on an unit area of surface right perpendicular force acting on a unit area of surface it is force but with taking area into account means pressure is what force applied it is newton force unit is newton upon area that is meter square area is what area is sir length into breadth for let's say rectangle it is blended to bread length is meter breadth is meter meter into meter is meter square simple huh so that's why newton upon meter square so accident becomes newton per meter square but another scientist name surplus fascicle right surplus pascal's name uh this unit has been given to so again you will see pascal and pa is the denotation for the unit of pressure fine so pressure is that something which is telling me if this body will pierce or not correct how force upon area asar if area is small pressure will be more right if area is more pressure will be less correct because area is in denominator that's why you know so notice because of this particular concept you will see all these effects around you in deserts we call like the camel as a what ship of the desert right uh why because camel has big hoofs a human which is obviously which is you know i would say lighter or less heavier than the camel our legs or our feet they try to sink into the desert but a camel manages well because camel has larger hoofs force is spread on this it or pressure becomes less if your area is more if your area is less your pressure becomes more right and that is the reason you have pointy nails nails what is the job of a nail nail has to sir go inside the wall uh you know i would say would uh i would say what a door right so nail has to pierce into something that's why if you want to pair something you want large force so if you want large force i want not just force i'm talking about blunt nail however hard you try it won't just go inside nicely but a pointy nail will go like tuck tuck tuck must turn out and calm okay so similarly knife knife can get a blunt knife no one want to use why knife is supposed to cut things it is supposed to be sharp if it is not sharp pressure is reduced it will not be able to cut but if a shy you have a sharp knife area is very less so with a lesser amount of force only you are able to cut things got it easy but yeah so another question let's do this small question a girl wearing heels and an elephant are walking on a sandy road girl is wearing heels heels are a heels over here they are not comfortable i'm pretty sure because i have seen people heels look like this your shoe is there and then this pointy oh nice my drawing it improved a lot yes this is what a shoe with heels look like nice so yes it looks like a nail the heel it's a nail kind of thing means so pointy means pressure will be more right so a girl wearing heels elephant are walking on a sandy road sandy road the problem with sandy roads are they are easy to sink in right the girl is exerting greater pressure on the sand than the elephant what may be the reason so elephant very heavy you are right but elephant has four legs first of all and they are bigger i would say surface area hooves you can say right so elephant is still able to manage well because all over if you see pressure is reduced by so much weight of elephant divided by total area of the four hooves the overall quantity pressure will be less but in a case of girl girl has lesser force you know let's say girl let's say girl had a force off by the way it is the weight and i'm saying kgf or newton should i say kg do you understand kgf kgf is what let's say girl has a mass of 50 kg her weight will be 50 kg f or let's say 10 meter per second square the acceleration or 500 newton for elephant right elephant let's say elephant is what 1000 kg right 1000 kg okay if elephant is 1000 kg its weight will be 10 000 newton so 500 upon 10 000 upon now thing is 10 000 upon i just i'm just assuming i'm just assuming let's say his feet area becomes 50 meters square see it's a random number i'm not going into logic 50. so it's coming out to be how much 5 to 200 pascal right 200 pascal if let's say girl has a all over area of one meter square it's impossible by the way but still just for the sake of understanding one 500 upon one this is 500 pascal pressure of girl is more now she will be able to go inside her heels will sink in but elephant will be fine as it must even take that's why all right so we talked about pressure in solids like rigid objects let's talk about liquids because liquids are special if you notice you have a cylinder in the bottom you have just put a balloon right if the level of water is more the balloon will be inflated more in that case right like this right so liquid exert pressure on the walls of the container the thing about liquid is liquid exert pressure in all directions so the walls of container are nothing special they also get pressure from the liquids right this is what we're telling so liquid exert pressure on the walls of the container and if you want to just notice it what you can do is let's say you have a water bottle and by the way it should be a waste bottle so you're coming okay so what will happen if you have a nice water bottle you just pinch holes in that the hole which is to the bottom or i would say it is at a greater depth from that water will come out with more force if i punch holes at same level right if let's say this is the water bottle at this one level i punch all the holes is just okay water will come out equally so what are we trying to say that if the depth is same pressure remains same if depth increases pressure increases this is an i would say observational conclusion we are just drawing out right now okay nice so let's understand this come on it's this question a fish creates a bubble near the base of the pond group choose the correct option showing the size of the bubble as it rises up fish is let's say near to the bottom of the pond let's say fish is near the bottom of the pond and fish was feeling oh what do i say happy she just said like bubble gum secretary so she just formed a bubble and the bubble will rise up why because it's a bubble of air and it's water bubble will have less density it will rise up that's true now the thing is as it will rise up its size will increases right correct its size will increases option b is telling you that size remains same option b is telling you that size does not change option c is telling you that size decreases option a is telling you that size increases so why does it increase option a is right you and me are right over here but sir why let's understand the why not because that's why here why when the bubble was to the bottom the pressure was more wide because it was near to the bottom of the point from the level of water the depth is more means pressure acting on the bubble is more as the bubble rises up the depth keeps on decreasing the depth keeps on decreasing matlab the liquid pressure which was trying to just squeeze it in it is also decreasing it is becoming hero it becomes like hmm this happens though so that's why bubbles size increases as it goes up that's important fine all right all right okay so this is something we've learned cello yeah this is something which we can do together and i want the answer in the chat by the way it's kalini better pressure exerted by fluids or liquids let's say fluid spin through gas so liquids acts on the dash of the container what do you think i'll wait for five seconds five four on the dash of the container walls of the container nice second one dash at the same depth if depth is same what remains same right so this is like a statement pressure exerted by liquids acts on the dash of the container pressure exerted by liquids dash at the same depth is same you can say yeah you can also say same at the same depth or constant at the same depth and it doesn't change by the way that is something which we are trying to say you can use words like same constant challenge dash with depth pressure exerted by liquids dash with depth if depth matlab increases with depth depth it's a relative depth it increases with depth so okay here the word will be increases with depth all right so till here we have discussed about pressure by liquids clear pressure exerted by gases and people if you are facing slightest problem today we are talking more about business not business as such what is our business it is steady so we are talking about point-to-point concept knowledge and revision we have done concept capsule session of this particular topic what detailed may have we have done a lot of fun lot of activities away make sure you watch them if you feel there is a slightest of doubt could be doubt your honesty that is my intent first of all there should be no doubt today's session is more towards revision people who have already revised or who have learned this once at least i mean better than from me i mean again with the mother son it's okay but today's session is more towards revision recap learning first time learning kelly i would say you might face light as a problem make sure you watch the concept capsule station that is important fine so pressure exerted by gases i told you fluids liquids are liquids gases are gases if you combine them we see them fluids things which can flow fluids okay so pressure exerted by gases gases also exert pressure if you inflate a balloon the air molecules go inside and these molecules now start banging on the walls of the of the balloon that they are movable no they just keep on vibrating and here are not vibrating they keep on moving so this is them applying force on the walls of the container and this is what we call as pressure this force per unit area is what we're calling as pressure so right pressure exerted by gases they also exert prices and pressure and you might have noticed if you just fill more and more and more air the balloon busts like this guy faced and that's why we are scared of it right why because pressure was so much that the balloon was not able to the walls were not able to sustain that pressure under pressure right burst okay correct nice cherry tk but you know what if gases are applying pressure we have so many gases like air is around us what about it is it also applying some pressure we are saying there is pressure but around us if you ask me till kilometers and kilometers you know up above our head there is air earth is atmosphere no you know so still wait planes are able to fly because there is air over there plane gap lane that's why so the thing is atmosphere made there is air what about its pressure that's why we call something as atmospheric pressure it is the atmosphere and i would say the envelope of air around earth because you and me we all are sitting under an ocean ocean right so it means we also have a lot of pressure on us both pressure by just understand that right so what's happening the weight of the air column over a unit area of earth's surface above you imagine there is an imaginary column like this this column weight per meter square is what we are calling as atmospheric pressure fine all right this is the weight of air column over a unit area of earth surface atmospheric pressure you can you can take an idea from this particular image over here nice so what atmospheric pressure we have understood now does it change it changes exactly the way you have learned for liquids what happens if depth decreases pressure decreases if we if you and me we are at the bottom of this ocean of air if we go higher if we do trekking if we go to mount everest what's up what happening the depth is decreasing or i can just rephrase this statement if i go to altitudes atmospheric pressure decreases okay atmospheric pressure decreases with height so you can understand it two ways if you take the reference from the top most layer of the air up a beaker liquid top most levels same thing in liquid also you can say if you are taking the bottom as a reference if you go as high from the bottom the liquid pressure will decrease or you can say as close as you come to surface means as the depth decreases pressure decreases same thing we are doing here we are just khan as a pagani vagina we are telling it like this because the sea level that's why as high you go from sea level atmospheric pressure decreases understood very easy right why because air molecules there is lot more air if you are at the sea level if you go high this weight or this amount of air which is above you it decreases pressure decreases simple hannah so that's why and that's one reason that while doing uh you know at going at high altitudes there is a chance of nose bleeding your body your body is actually sustaining a lot of pressure i will tell you it's it's about uh three or four elephants sitting on top of it and your body is taking it all why because your body is also applying equal amount of pressure outwards atmosphere both are in balance if you the body pressure becomes more means the blood vessels the blood starts coming out nose bleeding that's why okay got it all right now atmospheric pressure there are magical things happening around us because of atmospheric pressure it's it's very much it's too high we understand this and a lot of times we think that when we suck any liquid cold ring juice from a straw we are sucking the liquid not exactly you are not sucking the liquid you are exact you are actually sucking the air you are actually sucking the air and when you suck the air what happens you have sucked the air pressure inside the straw has decreased at outside atmospheric pressure is more of atmospheric pressure is pushing the liquid so that it can rise in your straw and reach your mouth so you are actually not sucking the liquid you are actually sucking the air reducing the pressure in the straw so that atmospheric pressure will help you out a chat and the pressure coming that's why right okay and same reason we have these you know the one which you buy from me lasts or fairs so when you just just release it it goes and and the same thing will happen right if you just press your hand like this essay they will air will just be sucked out i would say pushed out or under your pressure will decrease atmospheric pressure will make it to stick so what happens here you just push the air from inside the sucker out pressure inside it decreases atmospheric pressure is high it will just chipped at most pressure says this right fine okay now i'll ask you one question can we drink water using a straw in space a guess a how will we just remove our helmet everything don't go into that logic just so too can we drink water using a straw in space that's true let's take thought as a hypothetical question so that's a real question let's mix both of them if let's say i was able to drink straw in space uh drink water using a stone space will it possible nay space me what will you say in space there is no atmosphere means no atmospheric pressure means what i was doing i was sucking air and atmospheric pressure was helping me to just get the liquid in my mouth in a space there is no atmospheric pressure so even if you suck nothing will happen no why there's no atmospheric pressures that who helps you to drink straw sorry drink water from the straw atmospheric pressure next time you are enjoying a you know nice glass of juice or drink say thank you to atmospheric pressure fine all right so it's not possible so i would say with this you're done with the session next question you want to ask me is sir will we get notes definitely how telegram there is a link given to you in the description that is the telegram link it's a channel telegram channel for
