In this video, we are bringing you many leaked scenes from the next House of the Dragon season 2, episode 5. This source leaked much information about previous episodes that turned out accurate. According to this new leak, in House of the Dragon season 2, episode 5, we’ll see King Aegon critically hurt with a scene that shows his skin peeling off as they're removing his armor. We will see Aemond not being regretful about what he’s done to Aegon on purpose and being confronted by his sister Helaena about it in the throne room, who asks him, 'Was it worth the price?' Alicent will also start to figure out Aemond did it intentionally. Aemond will be the first to say they need a regent to rule in the king’s stead as Aegon is recovering. Alicent will suggest herself, but Criston Cole agrees Aemond should be regent instead. Daemon is going to keep having strange dreams and hallucinations at Harrenhal, this time seeing Queen Aemma (Rhaenyra’s mother), who is going to tell him, 'You were made to wear a crown.' Daemon will start telling people to start calling him king instead of 'your grace.' Rhaenyra and Jacaerys will start looking for Targaryen bastards to claim dragons, and Aemond will seal off King’s Landing, and more! Let’s take a look. The leak says that in episode 5, we see Aegon critically wounded. He has a lot of broken bones and burns over most of his body. We see his skin peel as the maesters try to remove his armor. His entire torso is burned, and half of his face. They don't know if he will awake. There is one scene later where Alicent touches him and then walks out of the room—no Aegon dialogue this episode. We expected nothing less; this is the same way Aegon is in the books after the battle at Rook’s Rest. Aegon suffers from burns that cover half his body, a broken hip, and numerous broken ribs. His armor has melted into his left arm, and it will take him a year to recover, although Aegon will remain bent and twisted for the rest of his life, half his body covered in burn scars. Next, it says that the fate of the dragon Sunfyre is not clear. When Alicent asks Criston about what happened, he says they lost 900 men but gained a castle and left some men behind to defend King Aegon’s dragon, which is dying. Sunfyre is definitely not dying, but I can see why the show would try to build this narrative only for us later to find out that he lives as a huge shock to the audience when in later seasons Aegon confronts Rhaenyra with Sunfyre. Sunfyre is a dying dragon after suffering huge wounds, being brutally slashed in the chest by Meleys' claws, his right wing destroyed by Meleys’ jaws, and one of his wings set on fire by Aemond’s Vhagar, causing him along with Aegon to crash into a forest. Sunfyre and Aegon survive the fall, but both are severely injured. While King Aegon is taken to King's Landing to recover, his dragon Sunfyre is unable to fly and too huge and heavy to be moved, so Sunfyre remains near Rook's Rest to allow him time to heal. Criston says that he stationed men near the dragon to guard him. In the book, Sunfyre first feeds on the burned carcasses of the slain soldiers, but after those are gone, Criston's men bring Sunfyre calves and sheep to eat. Although many soldiers will try to kill him later and his wing will heal at an awkward angle, Sunfyre will recover enough to fly once again. Back to the episode 5 leak. It says that Aemond’s demeanor is not regretful at all; moreover, he is in a happy mood. When they are parading Meleys' head through the streets of King’s Landing, Alicent notices Aemond has the catspaw dagger on his belt. At this point, everyone knows that Aemond tried to kill Aegon on purpose. I said it before and I’ll say it again: Aemond tried to kill Aegon twice: first, by intentionally letting Aegon fly his dragon Sunfyre alone against Rhaenys and her dragon Meleys without rushing to the air to help him, even though he knows Meleys is much stronger than Sunfyre. Second, Aemond tried to kill Aegon by blasting dragonfire when the dragons were entangled, fully aware that even if he hits Rhaenys and Meleys, he's going to burn Aegon as well—and he does. Finally, Aemond flies back with Vhagar to where Aegon and Sunfyre fell and lands. Aemond approaches, draws his sword, stares at Aegon, and then decides to sheath his sword as Criston Cole approaches. Aemond was definitely going for the kill but saw Aegon in such a bad condition that he thought Aegon was either already dead or there was no way of him surviving such wounds. It says Aemond is not regretful and is actually in a really good mood, and why wouldn’t he be? Even though King Aegon lives, it will take him a long time until he can rule again, and Aemond knows he is the second in line to rule in Aegon’s stead. Aemond achieved his goal; he will rule from the Iron Throne. By the way, besides the king’s dagger, Aemond will also wield the king’s sword. Next, it says that Criston Cole does not tell Alicent the truth about what happened at Rook’s Rest even though he seems to definitely know that Aemond’s attack on Aegon was intentional, but Alicent starts to piece it together on her own. In the official trailers, we got a glimpse of Alicent’s confrontation with Aemond about his actions at Rook’s Rest against Aegon. We hear Aemond respond with, 'Would you not have us prevail?' pointing to the fact that with him in charge, there is a better chance of them winning this war, to which Alicent responds by shouting, 'Not like this!' Next, it says that Alicent is very upset and worried if Aegon will live, but it also seems like she is concerned about who will rule if he dies. At the small council, Aemond is the first to say that they need a regent in place to rule in Aegon’s stead. Alicent suggests herself as capable of ruling, but none of the council members agree with her; they don't want a woman in charge while being in a war against Rhaenyra, who wants the same. We know that in episode 5, Aegon’s small council will have a meeting about who will rule in Aegon’s stead while he is recovering, and we know it's going to be Aemond. Prince Aemond will take over the rule in Aegon’s stead as Prince Regent and Protector of the Realm. While this is happening in King’s Landing, apparently the black council is also having a meeting at Dragonstone where some members question Rhaenyra’s war experience, but she comes back at one of them by saying that the realm has been at peace for many years, so no one has more experience than anyone, no matter which gender. Back to King’s Landing, both Larys and Criston Cole agree that Aemond should be regent, and Aemond happily heads over to the king’s chair at the table and immediately starts planning wars. Aemond takes the role of a new king and starts planning at once, and we know Aemond will tell Criston, 'My uncle Daemon is a challenge I welcome, if he dares face me,' making it clear that Aemond’s next objective is Harrenhal, which he plans to take with Vhagar and Cole’s army. Next, it says that Alicent thinks Cole betrayed her, but he tells her something along the lines of, 'We have to do terrible things now, and I spared you from having to be at the head of them.' We saw part of this scene play out in the episode 5 preview. Then it says that there is a scene where Aemond is standing in front of the iron throne and Helaena asks him if it was 'worth the price.' It seems just about everyone knows that there was some foul play that went on during the fight at Rook’s Rest, even more so Helaena since she can see things. In episode 5, Rhaenyra and Mysaria will have a conversation. Mysaria will say, 'The people whisper, when Viserys lived, there was peace.' and then she will offer her own help by saying, 'There is more than one way to fight a war.' It is Mysaria’s plan to send a good friend and handmaiden of Rhaenyra to King’s Landing, Elinda Massey, to mess with King’s Landing’s food supplies and to cause a riot of the smallfolk as they first go hungry after already being scared. The leak says that Dyana, a servant Aegon violated in season 1, will help Elinda on Mysaria’s orders. At Harrenhal, Daemon keeps having strange dreams and hallucinations, this time seeing Queen Aemma, Rhaenyra’s mother, who is going to tell him, 'You were made to wear a crown,' and then say, 'my favorite son.' An actress who plays Queen Aemma was confirmed to appear in season 2, and many have already correctly guessed that it would be in Daemon’s vision as many guessed it was Aemma in the trailer sleeping with Daemon. This Daemon’s vision about Aemma is meant to symbolize him wanting what his brother King Viserys had: his brother's crown, his brother's wife. It’s not about Aemma; it's about what she symbolizes. Next, it says that Daemon is becoming increasingly obsessed with being king. He tells Simon Strong to call him king now instead of just 'your grace.' Simon says he would be the king regent, and Daemon says that last part isn't necessary; he wants to be called king only. Later, Daemon says that when he takes King’s Landing, Rhaenyra is welcome to join him as queen. So it seems he's been corrupted by Harrenhal. We know that during episode 5, Daemon will take Stone Hedge, and when he attacks House Bracken, he will tell them to bend the knee to him. But we also know that in the season 2 finale, Rhaenyra will come to Harrenhal, and the two will reunite. Together, Daemon and Rhaenyra will prepare their attack and take King's Landing in episode 8. But back to episode 5. Then it says that Rhaenyra sends one of her council members to Harrenhal since she thinks Daemon will ignore any ravens. I'm not sure who Rhaenyra will send, but it seems it might be her son Jacaerys as we see him negotiating with House Frey at the Twins, which is very close to where Daemon is. Next, it says that we see Hugh Hammer at King’s Landing while the city has been sealed off by Aemond. We know that in episode 5, there will be a huge riot of the smallfolk after seeing the head of Meleys drawn on a cart through the city, as thousands leave King's Landing after seeing that the war of dragons has started and it will soon come to their city, but also after something happens to the food supplies, and now we know that the city gates will be ordered by Aemond to be closed and barred. This is a slight change from the book, as in there, Alicent is the one who orders the city gates to be shut. Next, it says that the last scene of episode 5 is Jacaerys and Rhaenyra deciding to look through all of the old history documents to try to find long-lost family members or people with Targaryen blood to try and claim some of their riderless dragons at Dragonstone, some of which include Vermithor and Silverwing. Earlier in the episode, Jacaerys treated with the Freys, and we also saw Rhaena arriving at the Eyrie, seat of House Arryn, to where Rhaenyra sent them. We know Jacaerys will take his dragon Vermax to negotiate with House Frey and to possibly secure free passage to Cregan Stark’s army south. Rhaenyra also says something along the lines of, 'Meleys fought 2 dragons and 1 of them is dead.' So Rhaenyra either falsely believes Aegon’s dragon Sunfyre is dead for whatever reason, or she received a false report claiming it. As I said, the show might be building this narrative to make us think Sunfyre is going to die because it is supposed to be a shocking twist when we see him next time, as big a shock to us as it will be to Rhaenyra when Aegon confronts her with his dragon in later seasons of House of the Dragon.
