massive news has just dropped for Mortal Kombat 1 some of this info you will not hear anywhere else it's only in this video so far including the new identity of Cyrax and how the Cyber Lin Quay look different in Mortal Kombat 1 but then on top of that tons of new characters have been confirmed some new stages as well and I want to talk about it because normally I don't like covering leaks on this channel but today's situation is very unique for a couple of reasons for starters these leaks have already gone viral so basically everyone is going to learn about about it very soon and instead of learning this info from a tweet or something lame like that I'd rather you hear it from me Plus on top of that I even did a poll earlier and it was unanimous it's very clear that most of you want to know about these leaks so I'm happy to talk about it and when it comes to data mining in general I consider it okay most of the time as long as you already bought the game very similar to how if you buy a card then you're allowed to take it apart and see how it works to me that's all data miners are doing and that's why I consider it okay and the name of today's hero data Miner is none other then enter loco that's right he did all the leg work and even has a full video breaking all of this down including how he got the information all of which is very interesting and I highly recommend you check out his video yes he speaks in Spanish but YouTube has closed captions to help you understand everything he's saying interco has quickly become the most active data Miner in the Mortal Kombat characters for many months now basically everybody has been speculating which characters will be added to Mortal Kombat 1 and also when are they going to get here is it going to be in the story mode pack or is it going to be combat pack 2 is there going to be a combat pack three which guest characters are coming all of that info has been debated for a long time now however thanks to interco we now know for sure which three characters are coming with the story mode update which is likely coming soon after teada is playable for combat Pack 1 that's right some players are calling it aftermath I just call it story mode part two call it whatever you want to but the important news is three characters are returning sector Cyrax and Noob sabot that's right as mentioned earlier these characters have been speculated for a while but now their names have been confirmed in the data file so it's a 100% guaranteed these characters are returning and don't worry there's even more details for starters we know for a fact that Noob cbot is going to be bean and I'm not talking behan from a different timeline I'm talking the Subzero you play as in Mortal Kombat 1 is also going to somehow become a noob cybot which is already pretty interesting because a few months back we spent a whole video debating how Noob cybot was going to return was it going to be the Grand Master who was killed before story mode or was it going to be from a different timeline how is this going to work turns out it's the behond that we already know from the game but somehow he becomes Noob cybot but next up let's talk about the cyborgs because here's where the information gets really juicy there's two really interesting details about these characters let's start off with Cyrax because so far nobody's covered this news in a video because interco just revealed it a few minutes before I started recording as it turns out cyra's voice files are already in the game so go ahead and have a [Laughter] [Music] listen yeah did you notice anything different about those audio files yeah it's a lady so it turns out those rumors are true Cyrax is in fact now confirmed to be a woman in Mortal Kombat 1 like I've said many times in past videos new era new me there's tweaks and changes made to Mortal Kombat 1 which I think keeps things a little bit fresh and when it comes to Cyrax I don't think making the character a woman is going to change the character very much the personality has never been tied to the character's sex that much which is not true for every character I think if you changed Sonia's sex or Johnny Cage's sex that would not be very good it would very much affect the character in a negative way but when it comes to Cyrax being a woman I don't think that's going to affect the character very much sure they're going to look a little bit different visually and their voice is going to sound different but outside of that all I need for Cyrax to be a cool character is a cyber linqu Warrior as long as they nail that I think Cyrax is a cool character now of course with that being said I can understand if some people are upset that Cyrax is a woman now especially if you're a DI hard fan of the character because I've been a DI hard fan before and if you change anything about my character I'm going to get a a little bit upset which is why I can understand that mindset as well some people are definitely going to be irritated a little bit peeved that Cyrax was changed into a woman but for me personally I don't think it's going to be a big deal in the long run as long as the character has great gameplay a similar personality to past games and maybe has a pretty face and is just nice to look at I really don't care that Cyrax is a lady now just don't give her the Tanya treatment and we should be good but next up let's talk about sector because when it comes to the cyborg characters I have one more interesting detail that nobody else has covered in their videos because they just don't know about this and as a result everyone watching this video is going to hear about this information first it turns out that Cyrax and sector in Mortal Kombat 1 are going to be wearing less armor than in previous games that's right you can see more of their face now you can see more of their body exposed kind of like in Deadly Alliance with cyra's alternate costume it's going to look something similar to that the point is you can see more of the characters in Mortal Kombat 1 when it comes to the cyborgs which definitely does make makes sense because a lot of the fatalities in Mortal Kombat 1 rip apart the character's face or pull their skull out or pluck their eyeballs out and none of those fatalities would work on characters that are completely cyberized and as a result the Cyber Lin Quay and Mortal Kombat 1 are going to look a bit more human which once again I think is a great change I like the idea of the characters finally having a face now should there be an option to cover up their face with a cyberized helmet yeah that should definitely be an option but maybe during the Finish him screen that helmet or mask falls off so the fatality makes sense and then if I want to I can choose to not wear the mask right just have the character's face exposed the entire time I want that to be an option but no matter what happens the point is the Cyber linqu are showing more of their human bodies in Mortal Kombat 1 they're not going to look like Iron Man anymore where every inch of their body is just covered head to toe and steel so there you have it everyone two very big changes to the Cyber Lin Quay the first big change was that Cyrax is a lady now which I don't think is a very big deal it may take some people a while to adjust but let's be real it's still more personality than triborg in Mortal Kombat X because when you picked Cyrax it was not actually Cyrax it was just triborg cosplaying as Cyrax the personality was nothing like the yellow robot we all know and love but next up sadly I have some bad news because there's one character whose name was not found anywhere in the data files and as a result that could deconfirm the character being in Mortal Kombat 1 and that character is a big fan favorite so it breaks my heart to say this but unfortunately Jade was found nowhere in the data files her name did not come up anywhere according to interco and as a result it's possible that she won't be in Mortal Kombat 1 as a DLC character which is very sad news however with all that being said keep in mind we don't know for a fact that Jade is never going to arrive all this proves for now is that Jade's not going to be in the story mode pack and possibly also not the DLC pack afterwards Honestly though for me I still think Jade could be in the game because like I've mentioned in past videos she is nam dropped by so many characters and even has a new rank she is a CEST in Mortal Kombat 1 and as a result I'm going to keep my fingers crossed because I really do believe in my bones in my heart that Jade could return in Mortal Kombat 1 but you know what I love making these videos interactive so now's the part likely coming in the same story mode pack that gives us sector Cyrax and Noob cybot however to keep things interes testing we don't actually know what the stages are yet we just know that two new screenshot on a website of some kind it might have been GameStop or IGN I can't remember but we saw a new stage many months ago when quani wasn't even playable yet but for some reason we still haven't been able to play on that stage so put it in the game I want to fight in this game on chaos realm and also vateria or veteris I forget what it's called The Vampire stage I want to fight there too all
