Building a Warship Using Cork as a Mold

Materials Needed

• Cork (shaped to desired warship form)
• Resin
• Putty
• Sandpaper
• Duct tape

Steps to Build the Warship

1. Shaping the Cork

   • Shape the cork to the desired warship form.

2. Applying Resin

   • Coat the shaped cork with resin.
   • Apply 3-4 layers of resin for maximum results.

3. Sanding Before Puttying

   • Sand the resin-coated cork to even out uneven parts.
   • This ensures smoother caulking.

4. Caulking

   • Apply putty thinner than needed to avoid missing small holes.
   • Sand gently on all putty-covered surfaces.

5. Straightening and Final Preparation

   • Straighten the sides to make wall connections easier.
   • Remove the cork and any remaining duct tape from the inside.
