welcome back to program logic and design in this section I'm briefly going to go through some programming environments as well as user environments first thing we need to understand is our programming environments what is a programming environment it's a text editor which we use to create Simple Text files such as notepad++ we have integrated developmental environments like our idees which provides an editor a compiler and other programming tools we have visual Studios as an IDE net beans which you are familiar with and code blocks which is an open source IDE understanding user environments we have command line which is a location on your computer screen at which you type text entries to communicate with a computer's operating system here are two examples of command line prompts a graphical user interface or gooey allows users to interact with a program in a graphical environment [Music] please join me for the next video in which I'll be discussing the evolution of programming modules
