Submarine Capabilities Comparison

The reason for the conflict between the president of America, Donald Trump, and the former president of Russia, Medvedev. There are some who are trying to show what is happening with the American and Russian submarine arsenals. It is a wrong approach because when we look at the nuclear arsenal we should not only look at submarines. We also need to look at satellite systems in general. So what we can say is that the reason was given by the fact that Donald Trump sent two essentially American nuclear-powered attack submarines to the appropriate positions, as he said, closer to Russia so that they could play a role if the words of the former Russian president are indeed something important. We must first understand that it is an asymmetric confrontation since we have the former with the latter, while we should look more closely at what is happening with the two latter. We understand, of course, that the former also functions as a loudspeaker within the quotes of the current in Russia on issues that are more delicate and that the current handles in a different way. However, there is a contradiction with this. So within this context, it makes sense to compare what the US Navy has and what Russia has in relation to submarines. So we could simply say that America has 64 active submarines and say that Russia has 58. Well, you tell me if it 's 64 and 58, more or less it's the same. So it's not the same. So if we look at it now by category, we will understand that there is a big issue in general, which is that America's submarines, which are, if you will, ballistic missile submarines and attack submarines. So I'm talking now about SSBNs and SSNs. In reality, it is 14 and 50. If we enter exactly into this context and look at the ballistic missile submarines in Russia, there are 11 for the 14 we said, and for the SSN nuclear-powered attack submarines, but of course for the Pyravlon Cruise nuclear-powered submarines, we have 17 and 9, meaning we are at 26 compared to 50. You will tell me how it is possible then that there is such a minimal difference when we do the total. The total comes from the attack submarines that operate with Russia, which are 21. So these, as you understand, do not have the same capability because quite simply because they are not nuclear-powered, they cannot play a significant role far and deep because quite simply they have an issue with fuel. So if we now enter into this logic of comparison, we understand that the data are not comparable. As we were saying, to be more specific, we know that in America the ballistic missile submarines, the SSBNs, are these 14 Ohio Class. So what's special about these submarines is that they can carry up to 20 missiles. tridon 2Ds and that means that because they also have the capability of multiple nuclear warheads you understand that it is a huge issue. On the other hand, in relation to these 14, we have what we said on the Russian side, the 11 nuclear-powered submarines. So here we essentially have the Boray class, the Bor class, and of course with these we must keep in mind that they essentially carry 16 intercontinental missiles. These are the boulavas. So we see that we could say that there is something similar. It is not proportional either in size, purity, or certainly in the potential that each one has. And I'm talking now about SSBNs. And if we look at the SSNs, then things are even more different because here we have 50 in America, while I told you that we essentially have 17 in Russia, but we can also add the SSGNs, which are nine. In America we have the Virginia Class, so they are the most modern. Of course, we also have Sewolf. class, but it is rarer. And we also have the oldest ones which are Los Angeles CL. So, if we have all three classes, we understand that we cannot compare them in size or abilities. Apart from the fact that in Russia we have classes for listening, of course. But in reality, they are the most recent ones for you. If we look at it now as a whole through this analysis, we understand that there is a big difference in terms of water resources between America and Russia, and America clearly excels. But if we look at nuclear missiles other than submarines, then we know that Russia has many more. Yeah.
