how many people are you using that word with Loosely and have sacrifice nothing or vice versa how many people are using it Loosely with you but have sacrificed nothing not only do you have to be you um I'm going to be speaking a little bit about salvation and what it means to to be saved amen and uh the reason why this is important when I was in prayer and meditation the Lord brought this up to my spirit and I think that the devil has taken advantage of the church because the children of God are living in fear and living in fear is a sign that the devil has infiltrated the camp because God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind meaning that if the spirit of God is indeed functioning and operating in you one of the signs that God is with you is that you become perfected by love and when the love of God is in you and upon you the first thing that the love of God takes away is fear anyone that is not secure in love lives in fear a child that does not receive love lives in fear a spouse or a relationship that is not saturated by love you will be in fear now the issue is that most of the time when we are dealing with God we think of God's love to be more emotional empathic if I should say even though the love of God can make you feel things but the love of God is centered more on what God has done so even though you're going through a difficult time it does not mean God doesn't love you because God being a father it is his nature to give you what is called tough love there are times the holy spirit will give you comfort there are times that God will will will uh um will embrace you there are times that God will will will speak words of affirmation and there are times that God will communicate in a way where by you feel the soothing of his love but there are times his greatest sign of of his expression of Love sometimes it is in chastising us are you here can you hear me amen many of times it is the difficult things that give us the most important lessons so when we are dealing with God we have to understand that God does not give us what we want he gives us what we need primarily so when we are dealing with the with God as our savior you need to ask yourself what does that really entail and what does that mean let me ask a general question how many people think they could miss the Rapture lift your hands honestly you feel like if Jesus comes now I am not ready don't be shy lift your hands no lift your hands thank you can you clap for those who are honest yeah you believe like you know what if Jesus comes right now I may miss it no wait lift your hands let's be honest let me see the overflows because you guys in here you're too dignified you see people are afraid okay there we go I may God bless you for for your honesty I know people are thinking it's a trick question so um it is not a trick question how many people believe how many people watched the movie Left Behind when we were much younger amen it terrorized us hey you are like if the end comes right now I'll be left with all this craziness happening but the reality is this if you know anything about God you understand this primarily anyone who is afraid of being left you are not born again Jesus is not your savior I'm sorry to tell you this I'm breaking news I know they will cut this and post it I want them to because it's the truth anyone that lives in fear that if the Lord shows up in the heavens you'll be left Jesus is not your savior help us yes sir I'm going to say it one more time maybe the Overflow can hear me better I don't know about you guys in here because it feels like you're shaken it feels like you're shaken I'm going to say it again if you fear that the Rapture will happen and you will be left you are not born again it means the concept of salvation you have still not understood it because you have been taught that you have a part to play in your salvation come on and that is the biggest lie you see let me let me explain to you something you have to understand that do of the devil they have a form of godliness but they deny the power thereof what does that mean when the gospel is preached it's called the good news all right we all say Jesus pray paid the full price Jesus did everything Jesus reconciled us to God but if it is his duty to bring you to the the father and you're still afraid that you will be lost then you need to question if he's really your Lord this is why there's a lot of Believers that cannot get delivered they cannot get healed they cannot be transformed because you have been programmed to think you have a part to play in your salvation if you notice scripture focuses on repentance not forgiveness of sin because the believer's issue is your mindset not your sin anymore uh-huh you know there's a time I said that uh uh God doesn't really care about your sin the way you think ah this guy's blasted it to say you see he's okay with sinning that's not what I said this is the problem of having a narrow mind and not listening so you need to comprehend that salvation has nothing to do with you salvation has everything with what he has done amen so so so hold on hold on hold on I I know right now your theology is shaken but I will show you through scripture and you will understand that you have been living in fear here and you have to remember anything that is not of faith is [Music] sin that is not what I said that is your Bible anything that is not of faith is sin but we have made sin to be about what you have done remember you it is not sins sin is always singular and the root of all sin is the unbeliever the doubt of what God has said the doubt of what God has done that's right so the Bible says seek first the kingdom of God and all its righteousness and everything else will be added to you so the hindrance of a child of God is you have not understood righteousness because seeking the kingdom you have already found Jesus amen if you found Jesus you have found the Kingdom look at your neighbor say if you have received Jesus if you have received Jesus you have found the kingdom you have found the kingdom now but what makes you a citizen of the kingdom is not finding it but living the way the people of the Kingdom Live come on Goodall that is what makes you a citizen of Heaven is living according to the precepts that God has set for the kingdom and those who are in the kingdom are no longer under the law but they under what righteousness because we are under grace so meaning if I misunderstand righteousness I will begin to do what is called self-righteousness which God has completely rejected amen I hope you're listening to me which God has completely completely rejected meaning that there is nothing you can do to justify you to have an audience with God or to enter Heaven you see when we are in church we are taught to have good morals good morals are important nothing wrong with them but you don't need to be a Christian to have good morals so if it is good morals that took you to God then there are other cultures and other people that will also go to heaven because the world believes if I am a good person I go to heaven if I don't lie I go to heaven if I'm not a thief I don't go to heaven every culture teaches good morals but we know morals don't take you to heaven amen moral are commendable morals should be applauded morals should be chased after but they never allow you to meet with God because everything that is of of the flesh is filthy rags and God will never accept filthy rags the greatest Deliverance of a man is not from demons is from the flesh teaching good I I feel like I'm talking to myself I have been walking with the Lord now for 31 years I can say that man I feel old but because my encounter with him was at 6 and I have seen God do some tremendous things through my life over and over again I've not only seen him use me but I have seen his salvation throughout my life you have to understand that when Jesus becomes your lord and your savior the Bible says it like this many are the Affliction of the righteous but the Lord delivers them from them all so when Jesus becomes your savior he's not just saving you from Hell he's saving you consistently and continually through your life he becomes your Shield he becomes your salvation he becomes your protection he becomes your provider he becomes your healer I feel like I'm talking to myself he becomes yeah that is what salvation really is but we have made salvation one dimension and everything else is about how I balance myself let me show you something I know I'm preaching to the choir teach good good Romans chapter 3 verse 23 amen for all have S uh can you read it with boldness please can we read it together 1 2 3 for all have sined and come short of the glory of God I can't hear you for all have and come short of the glory of God one more time for for all has s and come short of the glory of God now you have to understand what sin is because the Bible says anyone that continues to sin or continues in sin is never born again but people don't understand what that means because if you are under the law then you can sin but if you're dead you can't sin amen you you didn't hear what I just told you if you're really crucified with Christ if you have really died with Christ then you no longer sin you make mistakes because to sin is to voluntarily rebel against God but the flesh I love how Apostle Paul puts it and you learn understand in a second why I'm telling you this Romans 7:19 are we ready can we read it together listen to what Apostle Paul is saying for the good that I would do I do not but the evil which I would not that I do remember Apostle Paul filled with the Holy Ghost full of power has been taken to the third heaven the greatest Revelator in scripture No One better at exing the word of God like Paul was Paul was a different breed and Paul is saying for the good that I would do I do not but the evil which I would not that I do keep going verse 20 now if I do that I would not it is no more I that do it but sin that dwelleth in me yeah so how can I be born again and I am still finding myself doing things that I don't want to do okay am I preaching the truth are you teaching are you always doing what you have to do wave your hand and if you're completely righteous everything you do is perfect 24/7 wave your hands I'm waiting for you I saw Benny oh she's not here I was going to pick on her Apostle is here Apostle I saw you almost Apostle of righteousness it was your coffee you're lifting okay listen this is very scary the good evil that I don't want to do that is what I do so therefore if I sin it is no longer I will sinning it is sin that is living in me but you have been taught that there is freedom from sin it is true but not in the manner you have been taught because if I physically stop doing something but in my heart I'm doing it I'm still doing it yeah Jesus said any man who looks at a woman lustfully he has already committed what adultery with her so even just me looking at somebody or looking at something or or doing something within my heart I have already gone the full way as far as God is concerned because if I'm truly changed my mind won't even go there every sin begins in their heart your actions are simply a manifestation of what has has already happened iniquity was found in you and then you sinned even Satan it began in his heart verse 21 I find then a law what does he find a law when I will do good evil is present within me he's discovering there is another law functioning and this takes you to be extremely spiritually mature for you to admit nah there is something else you see the problem is you think sin is the devil even Satan fell victim to something called sin so in order for him to bring sin out of you or to tempt you to see if there is evil inside of you he goes after what is called Temptation he finds where you're weak where the law of sin dwells in order to get in order to cause you to indulge with what got him that's good that's good I hope I'm helping somebody this morning you're helping let's go to 21 first before we go to 22 I find then a law that when I would do good evil is present with me verse 22 for I Delight in the law of God after the inward man notice who is delighting in God your spirit man your spirit man is always ready to do God's will that is why the Bible Jesus said it like this he looked at his disciples and said the spirit is willing but the flesh is Will verse 23 hey but I see another law in my members Waring against the law of what my mind come on hey keep going and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members so notice your stance with God is based on your mind and the word mind here is not brain the word mind here is your soul speaking of your conscious ability what you aware of to be present right bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members verse 24 all wretched men that I am who shall deliver can we read verse 24 together 1 2 3 oh wred man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death so as long as you're in the body there is another Lord dwelling in you that is why God cannot accept anything that is of the flesh because there's already another law that it's bound to I always say this way your spirit is fixed by salvation when you give your life to Christ he supplants your spirit meaning he gives you a new spirit your soul is restored by the word of God because it is renewed it is reprogrammed but your body the only solution is death yeah it has to die that is why in heaven you're getting a new body why when it comes we getting a new body why because no matter what you do with this body it will always be an enemy of God period yeah because the DNA of sin that comes from Adam will always be present until he dies because God told us on the day you do this you shall surely die the only only cure for the body is death that's good verse 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ Our Lord so then with my mind I myself serve the law of God but with my flesh the law of sin yeah listen this is sobering yes very good this is sobering because he telling you with my mind I am doing my best to serve the law of God but my body yeah will serve the law of sin he's not saying go and sin he's saying it is [Music] automatic I know this is not very popular to preach in church because they will tell you preach Holiness you are just struggling with righteousness how will you get holy come on come on that's good the church does not teach sin it teaches you need to teach Holiness we need to bring Holiness back back where you don't even know what righteousness is many of us are not even we are not even I was going to make a joke I'm just going to save it I remember a me a meme that said Jesus is saying I said righteousness not what ratchetness but but but understand this this is not a popular teaching in church because people in church love to pray to play pretend and they play pretend to gratify the flesh come on so that when they stand before you they can look as holy and precious Sanctified purified but in the background when God looks at them he knows they are giving you burdens that you can never carry come on Wow Wow I I don't know if somebody's listening to me Jesus is saying come to me all those who are heavy what Laden but they are teaching you to try and figure out out how to fix the burden you're carrying yet it is virtually impossible for you to fix it I I wish somebody could hear me verse 26 that's it h that's it that's it oh is that is that way it ends okay I'm okay forgive me but look at this I thank God through Jesus Christ Our Lord Lord so then with my mind I serve the law of God but with my flesh the law of sin so now understand where the issue is what then is righteousness that we are supposed to seek after where is it because Jesus confirms it to his Apostles and says if somebody comes and tells you the kingdom of God is over there the kingdom of God is over here don't believe them for the kingdom of God is within you so anyone that has confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior if you're looking for the kingdom you're not born again you don't even know what the kingdom is the Bible says he has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and has planted us into the Kingdom of Light the problem is we have a different culture because we came from Darkness we have still not been reformed to be citizens of the light so there are still behaviors that are of the other country we used to be in yeah even though we have been taken somewhere else I'm going to say it again if you know scripture and you are afraid of hell and you claim Jesus is your savior I am sorry he is not your savior because the Bible says the spirit Bears witness with our spirit that we are indeed Sons children of God so there is a confirmation by the spirit not by the flesh amen amen there is a witness by the spirit yes never by the flesh so what does it mean for the Lord to be your lord what is the lordship of Jesus look like let me use my son come come stand here come all my boys come stand here now stand stand facing this way okay now if Jesus is your lord the Bible says it this way the footsteps of a righteous men are ordered by the Lord what is an order you cannot resist [Music] it a command you can resist an order you cannot I don't know if you can hear me amen so now understand if he is your lord the the word Lords the the word Lord means somebody that is completely in charge of your life that is what a lord is a lord is somebody that comes into your life takes charge of everything that has to do with you he has the right to change your name change your status at any time they choose choose where you will live he's controlling everything it is not okay he can control what I allow him no we sing this song all the time my life is not my own listen you cannot be in Christ and still surrendering the act of being in Christ it means you have surrendered if you're still resisting surrender you are not born again come on now now hear me by the spirit of God when he is your lord he orders your footsteps and it is his spirit that lives in you now I have never seen somebody possessed by a devil and produce good fruits or do right things that's right that's right so when the whole holy spirit is inside of you what the Holy Spirit does is he takes control of you that is the first thing so he's standing here but this is his soul and this is his Spirit now his Spirit could not control the soul because the soul and the body have a different law they operating by so the spirit is too weak to control everything because the spirit is willing to serve God but the soul wants to serve fleshly things because of the DNA of Adam that is within the Flesh and when the Bible speaks about the flesh it's talking about both the soul and the body yes yes good is somebody hearing this yes now he gives his life to Jesus rather Jesus gives his life to him you know when we say I gave my life to Jesus no that is actually what happens uh later first your life leads to death so jesus takes away that spirit because your inner man was corrupted destroyed so he gives you a new spirit by giving you his life amen when Jesus gives you his life the next thing is that if you are going to serve him then you will give the life back to him so that he can run the show amen amen am is this making sense so you only give your life to Christ when he's given you his life then you return it into his hands you cannot give a life that is dead to God what is he going to do with it he did not serve you how is he going to serve God is this making sense so far now when Jesus gives his life to him and his Spirit comes in the spirit of God comes inside of him and now supports him in controlling everything he's much bigger he's much strong bring acceleration in everything that you do amen Reliance on God is an assurance that you will always always succeed Reliance on God means that you will never have a stumbling block before you amen
