okay so if somebody is from some EVS background Oracle applications for them maybe like uh more or less um it would be some known information but still I'll tell try to include some good stuff in every session and every aspect of discussion so now just I am trying to cover like the people who are very new who are experienced and all all the aspects will try to focus if you say you have some EVS experience no worries you can attend the classes and I'll compare each and every point with that EVs and I will cover if you are from some other backgrounds and the technical background or DBA or Etc you may be fresher no worries I'll take care of everything from the scratch in all the aspects I'll just focus and I'll try to make you to understand in the better way still if you have any questions whatever we are going to discuss you can stop me and you can rise your questions yep we'll see that the first point let's talk about this course what is the course now we are going to kokasa that is vision cloud financials this is the course name in this course what we are going to learn we are going to learn applications okay this is a course name we are going to learn Oracle Fusion Cloud financials so what is this Oracle Fusion Cloud financials this financial these Oracle Vision Cloud financials are applications so now we'll understand the each and every term meaning okay so I don't take much time already if you are aware of I'm really sorry wait for some I will get into the other points what you should understand really but as interaction let me take you through all these parts the very first point is what does it mean by Oracle okay it's very simple is the database so the company started their business with the database and for the database they named their Company the company name only they used as a Oracle database okay the company name only they just mapped with their product name that we are calling as foreign you know the purpose of database okay with the database what we can do is we can store the data if you want to store the data you should know the SQL language but nowadays without knowing SQL language also you can store the data in the database how with the help of applications you can do what is the meaning of application when I talk about meaning of application it's very simple so I will have certain forms okay you will have a certain form so say you have one on phone let me take two forms so this is something related software in one data form this may be related to payment related for form within this invoice forms you can have a different fields who is the supplier what is the supplier address how much amount we have to pay when we have to pay the same way the payment form or payment page you can have a details to whom we are paying how much amount we are paying through which bank account we are paying all the details you can now so say you have a database so here is your you have a database so for each form you can have a tables within the database now what we can do is now we are not going to do this just for information this form is can be connected with the database now what happens is within this invoice form what are the data you render that directly you can save that will go to database now if these pages are not there everybody should know the language called as SQL structure query language okay you should become SQL expert but because of these forms anyone can enter details invoice details in this page and they can save it they can submit it goes to database anyone can enter the details related to payment that we can store in the database now our job became very easy because of these Pages if these pages are not there you should know SQL language so with this Pages simply you can enter into save now say you entered 100 invoices you entered 500 say 800 100 invoices and you process 10 payments total information is available in this database now you want to see today total how many invoices you just created how many payments you processed you want to know all this all those details if you want to know all those details what you have to do is you have to run the report okay so you have simple point just to store the data in the database we are using these forms with this Pages we are inputting the data into database what are the data we have in this database if you want to see the data we are using the reports concept with uh for Pages or you can call it the forms you can save bombs or pages sorry Pages I'm facing a challenge in hearing your voice so maybe an activity issue from your end better you can disconnect let's continue so with in these Pages it could be invoice related or payment related or Supply related or customer related doesn't matter with help of pH or forms we can input the data into database and water the data is available in the database if you want to see you can see through these pages also but you can see very limited information if you want to see the complete information you can use the concept called as reports the combination of these pages okay database and reports only we call AS application application application means there should be some set of Pages or forms and database this is what we have to understand as what does it mean by application okay so pages are forms to input the data and to store the same data database is required and to see the data whatever we have in the database we need reports the collection of or the set of these three components only we call AS application now take example there is some purchasing department in our company okay purchasing department the purchase department they do different activities related to purchase so maybe they are doing some connectivities so we may have 10 pages to store the data and there'll be database okay and there will be reports related to the same activities so the pages and reports if the pages and reports or belongs to purchasing department and currently anyway the data will store in the database for purchasing department what are the pages we are going to use what are the reports we are going to use that we can call as purchasing application okay that means the pages are forms we use for different different departments all the pages okay all the reports what we are using for purchase Department that we can call as purchase in the application okay that we can call as purchasing application if payables department is going to use some set of pages and reports anyway database will be there for every application so if purchase department is going to use certain pages and reports that we call AS payables application if some assets department is going to use some set of pages and reports that we call as asset application this is how we have this is a point we have to understand which is related application any questions on this point exactly of this point please only on this one don't we don't need to touch other areas of information that anyway we are going to discuss so any questions from your end to understand what is the meaning of application this is what application means set of pages database and reports you can say every Department we use one application okay because every department they do some collectively some different classified activities so that is the reason generally for each department we can have those anyway those are built those are ready to use is building all these as a consultant we have to learn and we have to tell them how to use and we have to help them okay these are built with the different SQL and the different languages we don't need to aware of those languages how to manage how to run out all those things it's very simple running the report is you have to click click then report will be displayed we'll see in the session but we don't need to do anything we don't need to touch any programming path yep but there is a small point which you have to understand and we will discuss that but on the high level take this point we don't need to write any program these are ready see to create invoices there is invoice form we don't need to create an invoice form or at least creating and Oracle is providing we should know how to enter the invoice in this how to enter the payment in this to create the invoice on the payment to enter the invoice details in this page under the payment details in this page what else we have to do we have to understand that would be complete information for us and still there is some other points also once we get into that we'll discuss now it's very high level and the reports we don't need to create any reports as a consultant if any reports need to be created technical consultants will create not we we are not going to create any reports technical people will prepare so what are the reports are available those we should have what reports are available and of how to use those reports it's a very simple task that will work on those any other questions please foreign yes and current program thank you yeah thanks so um I mean so our main function is going to be uh the uh entering the data in invoice forms payment forms so uh you are saying that we are not going to do the uh things related to reports uh am I right uh yeah I'll I'll give them more clarity on this take example there is a payables department in on company in tables Department what they do basically they'll create the invoices right they'll cross the payments and they'll manage the suppliers vendor management same and they'll maintain the setback accounts take this example what papers department is doing they are creating as a part of behav's department they create the purchase invoices and based on the due date they'll make the payment to create the purchase invoices they have to maintain the suppliers vendors and when they are making the payment they have to process the payment with the background say payables department is responsible to create the invoices to pass the payments to maintain the suppliers information now once you when you are learning this product what we have to learn is say within the invoices there may be different types say 10 types of invoices are there maybe just for inform our understanding I'm giving these numbers reality you will see when you are working on this product say four type of payments are there maybe three type of suppliers are there and maybe two types of organic Concepts now in our classes we'll understand how many type of invoices are there and what is the purpose um generally you are actually providing this functionality by understanding the global business practices if any company is going to use Oracle payables application so they can create these many type of invoices these many type of payments these many type of suppliers there's many type of bank accounts involved we are going to see in case of Oracle how many type of invoices we can create in payables application and what is the purpose and how to create how many type of payments we have how to create those how to process it how many type of suppliers we have and what is the purpose and how to create how many type of bank accounts we have what is the purpose and how to create in the system how to use it all these will understand and again to use the payables application we have to set something say you purchased easy okay it is at your home now but you have to install Ace is ready okay but we have to install the same way the applications what we are going to use those are ready that is a ready-made product okay ready to use but as a consultant we have to set up say for your client whether 10 type of invoices are required only four type of invoice are required for your client four type of payments they want to process only two types forever's a client only one type of supplies they need are two types of three dash whether they need two type of bank accounts or more than that so this and all we have to application also as per client requirement what they require and future save total 50 features are there for example in the payables but as per this client business how many they require we will select okay only 20 is required within those 20 what they require we'll set it it's a very simple task very simple task in our classes will understand very detailed level that we call as setup our configuration for every application as per the business we have to do the configuration or call it as setup then we have to understand how many type of invoice how many type of payments except in our classes we'll understand everything but when you work for your clients what exactly they need that only you can Implement okay that only you can implement this you can say configuration or setup or implementation also okay you can say implement we have to implement that so in payables if you take example of payables application in payable supplication there may be 50 Futures Oracle is providing in our classes we learn all those but when you are working for your client your client may require only 20 yes you know of 50. you can tell them how to use just those 20. brother may require 30. you already know 50 how to use those 30 easily you can tell them so this is what you are going to learn just for every application how to set up as per business and you will will tell them how to use that different features in the specific application so and when they are using if they come across with the small issues we will help them because we know in and out of the product once we complete this course we'll become expert in each and every application so easily you can set up okay any application you can set up and you can tell them how to use each and every feature but reality each and every every feature you no need to tell them but we are going to learn what are the features they want to use as per their business you will be able to tell when they're using if they come across with a small issues or big issues whatever you call you can help them because as a consultant will have a full access to the system as a business users they will have a limited access so that you can check everything in these classes you will learn everything you don't need to worry about okay how much we have to learn how much how we have to do everything you'll come to know I will just take you we are going to focus on financials but when you are dealing with the financials it's a for financials order management is a neighbor neighbor application yes so we should have a basic understanding that level of knowledge I am going to cover when you are going to work as a fusion Cloud Financial function consultant being a financial functional consultant what level of knowledge is required in other applications that also I am going to cover payments is part of core financials oh okay thank you yeah fine yeah highlights one yeah please so as you mentioned their configuration you know it's class setup so uh is it a kind of a system setting that we are going to deal or uh do we need to fill something in invoice I mean the window that has been provided by the Oracle yeah it's almost one time activity for every implementation and those can be at any time as per their requirement need are we going to have any kind of documentation pertains to the terms now that you have mentioned that supplier uh bank accounts invoices and all yeah everything we'll discuss I'll write in the spreadsheet very detailed level okay the setups are Concepts each and everything I write the concept if you different activities three simple so we'll do the payables activities okay and receivables or activities let me write I'll explain and cast related activities that's a related activities very finely there is something else we'll discuss but in this case this information is more than enough so payables Department what they do they'll get the invoices they'll maintain invoices fortunate department but do the purchase activities the purchase department will pass the invoice to payables Department saying please cross the payment then these people will make the thing the payables department this is all I'm calling as the Departments okay the payables department responsibilities key responsibilities I am talking when we work on these applications we will discuss very detailed now just for our understanding purpose let's take very key points the payables department responsibility is creating invoices and across in the payments the receivables department responsibility is maintaining the sales invoices why isn't the sales advice or you can call it building and customer payments nothing but receipts cash Department responsibility is maintaining the bank accounts huh bank statements reconciliation okay under the department responsibilities it's nothing but fixed assets they'll maintain the fixed assets and they'll calculate the depreciation say we have one vehicle so we purchased so if the asset is belongs to company they'll maintain in their books as a fixed assets once we use for one year the value will come down okay the depreciation if you purchase the Land There Will Be appreciation these are all information as a department has to maintain so I'm just taking few departments names for our discussion okay the tables department is responsible to maintain the invoices or you can call as purchase advices okay here you can say purchase influences the payable department responsibility is maintaining the purchase invoice and crossing the payments the service department uh responsible days maintain creating the sales invoices that means billing to the customers and once customer will make their payment they will receive it that we are calling as a receipt this you can call us as receipt a customer payment anything you can call and cash Department responsibilities bank accounts maintaining the bank accounts are performing the bank statement reconciliation we will discuss these all very very detailed level before we get into that maybe in two three sessions we'll come to know detail level what exactly payables Department the Civil Department how they will have a communication reality what are the terminology we use to understand those points I'll take you through all those very soon in two three sessions we'll understand all the response so cash Department responsible is maintaining the bank accounts and doing the bank statement reconciliation what does it mean by bank statement reconciliation how we do all we'll discuss as the department responsible is what are the assets they have in the company all their maintain and they'll calculate the depreciations or appreciations so if you notice here if you notice your tables department is dealing with a money right payments the service department is dealing with the receipts that means they are receiving the payments from customers they are dealing with money and cash Department directly they are made in the bank accounts they are dealing with the money asset Department there is no money directly but fixed assets easily you can convert okay the liquidity easily you can convert from fixed assets to the money just you may sell the property you can get money so there is a liquidity okay you can convert assets so if you notice you are these four departments is dealing with the money related matters okay here money related matters that is nothing but these four departments are dealing with the finance related activities okay so that is the reason these four departments falls under finance department so finance department so since these four departments are dealing with the finances you can call as okay financials related departments finances means where Money Matters involves those we can call as a financials so these four departments are dealing with the money so these four we are calling as financials as per Oracle there is one more Department also which they frame to manage all these four departments that we'll discuss later for now take this one this is the meaning of financials okay this is the meaning of financials and again we have some other applications say for example of changing application okay purchasing department order Department and inventory Department these are the Departments see these departments are dealing with the money so these departments we are calling as a financials if you notice here the set of departments we are grouping and we are giving some name RS for each department we have separate application for each department we have a separate application so receivables we have a receivables application for pay payables we have a payables application for cash we have a cash assets we have as a different different application we have so we'll we'll take those names also very soon simply for now you can take this we call as a financials with the Departments or which applications are dealing with the Money Matters those we call as a financials here if you take example okay purchase Department order Department inventory purchase department will purchase and will place the medal in the warehouse inventory order Department they'll get orders and they'll sell the material to customer with the help of purchasing will get the material into inventory with the help of order department will sell the material to the customer that means influent outflow so it is some cycling activities continuously should happen whenever we need stock version department has to purchase when our stock is available our department will sell to the customers this you can call a sales department also if you don't want to call it as an order you can't Auditors sales so this is how we have a department so so these three set of departments you simply you can say supply chain related Department activities okay to manage the demand and Supply just the demand when there is demand patent department will purchase when there is stock availability so sales department will involve in the supply activity they'll supply to the our customers so this we call as a Supply Chain management see if you notice here some set of very relevant applications we are grouping and we are giving some name the same way there will be some Department related to HR human resource there could be other department called as payroll department there could be some uh some Talent options management time management these are the different different activities where you can see in as a part of human resource management so these are not only these there are few other uh departments also this is all you can call as woman Capital Management okay these are all are comes under resource related employees employee related departments one department will take care of may be recruiting the people and all maintaining their records and other department payroll department will take care of paying the salaries and other part and talent this is how just we have a different different functional areas in each and every business key process so these are all like setup departments we are grouping and we are giving the names this you can say okay different classifications all the Departments we are classifying these are the finance later departments these are supply chain related departments these are common Capital Management Department this is how we are calling the same there are many other also we'll come across we'll discuss again procurement related this is obvious now here what we are talking about is we are going to learn Finance path that means in this course primarily we are going to learn is providing so what are the features are there how to use this path we are going to learn where primarily we are going to see the payables application purchase invoices and do payments how to create purchase advice how to process the payment how many type of invoices payments we have to create this purchase invoice and payments what else we have to understand within the payables application we will see under reports Etc the same way receivers okay as a part of finances we have a receivables application we will use receivables application the company resources department can use the receivables application how they create the sales invoices how they create the receipts how they can set up receivables application receipts Oracle is providing an application called as Oracle accounts for receivable by using hierarchical accounts receiver short name is yeah any company can create the sales in voice and do they can create the receipts so cash Department what is the purpose of cash Department bank accounts creation and bank statement reconciliation so what is a bank statement reconciliation anyway we will discuss so they have to maintain the bank account for cash department or actually is providing an application called as Oracle cash management CM you pick the name CM later we'll discuss there is another short name also okay cash Department the responsibilities bank accounts maintenance and the bank statement a consolation to do those activities Oracle is providing Oracle cash management and applications what are the data we have we'll send to this application in this application you can prepare any reports now you can take these four applications or financial supplication these are the the primary key applications are these five in Oracle financials these are the five primary applications we are going to learn Oracle accounts payables accounts receivables cash management fixed assets and the generalizer application the same way Supply Chain management in the purchasing department they do the purchases of the sales department they'll create the sales orders in inventory Department they'll maintain the stock and receipts but these also are actually exploring the different different applications the names and all will come tomorrow very soon but now it is not required so this is what we have to understand Oracle means it's a company name or database name application means this set of forms pages and sorry pages of say forms database and reports and financial means hope you got that point okay all the applications all the all the Departments whatever you see that different departments in the companies those departments can be classified as these are the finance related Department section this is procurement related this is human resource related this is something related to projects a supply chain the Departments can be classified into different families okay again those you can have a set of I mean departments simple applications let me take one point the different Pages or forms we are grouping and we are creating the application along with that we'll have a reports and database but primarily this is this path okay if you take example of payables department for payments Department which pages are required those all were at least grouping and they are calling it as application okay set of pages or forms only we are calling as application along with this point you have to remember along with the pages or forms will have a reports and these are the applications foreign those are the applications we are going to learn and we are not going to supply chain management related application so on Capital Management applications but when you are going to learn Financial related applications some basic knowledge is required from suppression management also how to set up purchasing how to create the requisitions purchase orders how to create the sales orders how to maintain the stock how to create the receipts when we receive the medical and inventory and few other activities also will focus on this surpassion management up to the level what are the information we require but our primary focus would be on this financials so here I will write the name these are anarkal financials applications I'm not just limiting to only these applications along with this I'll take you through tax expense Etc but this you have to understand as these are the course five four finance applications okay company how to manage in the finance related information how to manage where they can manage this all these are the applications we can use so that's the meaning of Financial so if you got the point okay here we discussed about Oracle and applications now Finance applications means the applications which you are going to use to maintain a finance related data those applications only we call as a financials applications okay financials application now let's talk about what does it mean by Fusion foreign now I will just take you through simple part let's take any individual as an individual say you want to buy one phone popular in the market that means if you are buying something if you want to buy something there is no guarantee you will buy everything from single brand in each brand what is very much famous and specialized and best that you will pick the same way if any company is going to buy the software take example one company they are doing Financial activities they need software for financials activities they need software for their procurement activities they need software for supply chain they need software for Human Resource Management okay they need some software from to manage their customer relations so there is one company in their company they have a finance departments procurement departments when it's a departments finances one Department within the department they'll split our activities like which is related to cables it is related resources that's how you have to understand so the stake on Company the company name is XYZ company foreign they have a finance in their business they have to manage the finance data they have to manage the procurement data they have to maintain the supply chain they have to maintain the human resource data they have to maintain the domain resource good from PeopleSoft and customer relationship good from civil okay from civil so these are the different areas of the products are good from different different vendors but as a person easily we can pick and we can use all these products from different vendor but since it's a software they can pick from the different different vendors but the point is they can pick but they have to connect all these Oracle products and the JD adverse products and their safety production of peoples of products and perceivable product because in the company across all these area in all we develop interface reports so in this course are we going to touch on those parts see in this customizations yeah in this course I am going to cover to become a functional consultant who worked as a creation page in the fusion you may not be in the position to create invoice because you never seen that screen where we have a drop down where we have options where we have schedules where we have or 15 years of experience and I want to learn Fusion we used to suggest when you are joining some company okay so how much salary you need 15 years guy definitely will ask more salary but if they learn only Fusion by last year Max they can claim less four or less than four years of experience okay so with the four years experience how much they can get we know already they are working as a technical consultant or DBS from last 10 15 years but if they want to get more bugs good salary they have to have a good amount of experience right so to Showcase more years of experience just we used to suggest we use when they ask the question we used to suggest like uh better you can learn EBS than Fusion so that uh you can showcase the two-year I mean EBS and fusion you may plan for uh just putting more years of experience this is what we were suggesting okay so now there is a scope like people are in the market you can see it's a fourth four and a half years five years almost uh like 2007 four plus years there's an option there is a possibility where people can claim four years of experience and fusion so this is the point like if you have a huge amount of experience or Gap after your education and you want to get good package then you can learn EBS and fusion then you can when you try for the job you may tell them like you your experienced this is like not my suggestion generally what people are doing that's how people may try so this is the like uh I have a seven years of experience three years on EBS four years on abs of course they are not going to release offer later they will test once they feel comfortable they will just believe what we are saying and there is offer this is how it works it totally depends okay totally depends if you have like you complete your education four years back five years back no worries directly go for Fusion do it and you you just you have been working from last 10 years your package is very less but with the four or five years with if you try for job with uh on fusion with uh four years in India easily you can get eight to nine lakhs okay but if you think this pack is good okay or else if you say I am working from last 10 years my pack is very high here also you want to get high package then you may plan to do this EVs and fusion then maybe two three years you can claim on EPS remaining four years you may claim and vision portal overall it would be 70 years when you try for this job this very relevant experience only they see if you said 20 years from past 20 years you are working and you completed this Fusion training maybe you may you may try with some experience but your experience you are saying four years accordingly four years only they'll pay remaining your 16 years they'll ignore they'll consider not to pay just as a record that's how it works okay to keep some experience and all Justice very general information or discussions you have question how others are doing I am telling I
