Inspiring Insights for Aspiring Content Creators

I spent a whole month learning how to become a content creator. And turns out, it really got me thinking. What if... this could actually be my main career, guys? So before that, a little context. In 2025, I decided to learn one new thing every month. And last January, I spent my time learning how to become a content creator. Either from these books, or from masterclasses, guys. So in this video, I want to summarize everything I've learned. Into 4 key points, that made me—an introvert— want to start a career as a content creator, guys. Point No. 1 - Fake Urgency So my mentor once said, that humans— without some kind of pressure, they won’t take action, guys. And that’s true. For example, even if I didn’t make this video, my life, my career—everything would still be fine. No real problems, right? But with that kind of mindset, so many potential great content creators— who could be making content to inspire people or to express themselves— end up getting lazy and never creating anything, just because there’s no pressure. So, I had to come up with a ‘fake pressure’ that forces me to make this video, guys. Something that, if I didn’t make this video, the consequences had to feel HUGE. And after thinking about it for a few days, I found my urgency. Which is the fact that humans... will never know, when they’re going to die. For example, just a few days ago, there was a plane that crashed into a helicopter. Nobody could’ve predicted that was going to happen, right? And from there, I started asking myself— If I were to die soon, what legacy have I created in this world? Now, this isn’t negative thinking, but— it gives me urgency, which means I have to start creating content and making an impact— starting today. Not tomorrow, not next month, not next year. Point No. 2 - Exponential Growth So for those of you who aren’t familiar with this term— in mathematics, there’s a type of graph. This one is called a straight line. While this one is called an exponential curve. Exponential growth is when something looks flat at first, but at some point, it suddenly rises very steeply. This is just like when I first started teaching. Getting even one student was really hard. Then I got 1 student, then 2, then 3, and so on. Over time, without even realizing it, suddenly my students multiplied— to the point where now, I actually struggle to manage my schedule. This is something that happens a lot in life— where things start slow and steady, then suddenly explode in growth. So if you want to create content, your mindset shouldn’t be about making money as fast as possible— or getting tons of views in a short time. That’s what makes a lot of people give up and quit before they succeed. I was also inspired by a quote from this book: "Above all, you want to create something you are proud of." So we need to create something that we’re truly proud of. Not just something to chase views, attention, or money— but something that brings us real fulfillment. Now, moving on to Point No. 3 - You Don’t Need to Be a Professional So here, I got inspired by the book Content Creator Black Book, where it says— "You don’t need to be a professor just to teach kindergarten kids." So, a lot of you might think, if, If I want to create content, I need to be a professional first. I need to be an expert in my field. That’s not wrong, but, if you’re too much of an expert, you’ll likely target an audience that’s on a different level. For example, let’s say there are 10 levels, and you’re already at level 10. You might end up targeting people at level 8 or 7. But if someone at level 1 listens to you—someone who’s already an expert— they might get lost because... maybe you’re using terms that are too advanced, or maybe you’re explaining things too fast. So the point is, don’t feel insecure about your expertise level. Even if you’re at level 4, you can still teach people at level 2 or 1. The key is, you just need to be a little bit better than most people. Point No. 4 – The Final Point: Storytelling So, before making all of this, I was already feeling insecure— about how to edit, how the algorithm works, and all that stuff. But then my mentor made me realize something— “Hey, isn’t storytelling actually the most important part?” More than all these technical things? So if you want to create content, the main skill to train is public speaking, or how we communicate. And I know that a few years from now, if I stay consistent with making content, I’ll probably look back at this video and think it’s so messy— compared to how I’ll be in the future. But the point is, storytelling is something you learn by doing. It’s learning by doing. You can’t sit around thinking, “I need to have my storytelling skills ready first before I start creating content.” Because if you do that, you’ll never start, guys. Okay guys, so those are the four key points I talked about in this video— Starting with Fake Urgency, Exponential Growth, You Don’t Need to Be a Professional, and Storytelling Skill. Now, if you want to dive into algorithms, editing techniques, and all that— it’s not that those things aren’t important, but— they’re not what ultimately pushed me to become a content creator. So maybe just watch other people's videos, because I'm not really an expert in those areas, guys. That’s it for today’s video, guys!
