Noah was pious and truthful. God sent him to guide his people and warn them of the torment of the afterlife, but they disobeyed him and denied him. However, he continued to call them to the true religion, so a few people followed him, and the infidels continued in their transgression, so God withheld rain from them. Noah called on them to believe so that God would remove the torment from them. They believed, so God removed the torment from them , but they returned to God. He disbelieved them and began to call upon them for nine hundred and fifty years. Then God commanded him to build the ark and to take with him a pair of every kind. Then the flood came and drowned them all. Before Noah’s people were born, there lived five righteous men from the ancestors of Noah’s people. They lived for a period of time and then died. The names of the five men were Wadhu Su’a Yaghuth Ya’uq. After their death, people made statues of them in the field of remembrance and honor, and time passed and those who sculpted the statues died, and their children came , and the children died, and the children’s children came. Then stories and tales were woven around the statues, attributing to them a special power. Satan took advantage of the opportunity and deluded the people that these were statues of gods that had benefit and were capable of harm, and the people began. They worship these statues. The sending of Noah, peace be upon him. Noah was naturally a believer in God Almighty before he was sent to the people, and all the prophets believed in God Almighty before their mission. He had a great appearance for God Almighty, so God chose him to carry the message. So Noah went out to his people and began his call . O people, the servant of God. What have you of any god other than him? I fear for you the torment of a great day. With this brief sentence , Noah placed his people before the reality of divinity and the reality of resurrection. There is a Creator God and He alone is worthy of worship . There is death and then resurrection and then a day of resurrection. A great day in which there is torment. A great day. Noah explained to his people that it is impossible for there to be but one God. He is The Creator made them understand that Satan had deceived them for a long time, and that the time had come for this deception to stop. Noah told them about God’s honor for man, how He created him , granted him sustenance, and bestowed upon him the blessing of the mind , and that worshiping idols was nothing but injustice that stifled the mind. Noah’s people moved in two directions after his call. The call touched the hearts of the weak, the poor, and the miserable, and they bent over. Their wounds and their pain were filled with mercy. As for the rich, the powerful, and the proud, they looked at the call with suspicion, and since they were benefiting from the conditions remaining as they were, they began their war against Noah. At first, they accused Noah of being a human being like them. The mullahs who disbelieved among his people said, “We see you only as a human being like us.” The interpretation of Al-Qurtubi said the mullahs who disbelieved. Among his people were the leaders who were called mullahs in his people because they were full of what they said . These mullahs said to Noah, “ You are a human being, Noah,” even though Noah did not say otherwise and affirmed that he was just a human being, and God sends a human messenger to earth because the earth is inhabited by humans, and if the earth were inhabited by angels, he would have sent God is a messenger from the angels. The war continued between the unbelievers and Noah. In the beginning, the disbelief imagined that day that Noah’s call would soon be extinguished on its own. When they found the call attracting the poor, the weak, and people of simple industries, they began attacking Noah from this aspect. They attacked him in following him and said to him, “No one but the poor, the weak, and the ignorant will follow you.” Thus, the conflict broke out between Noah and the leaders of his people, and those who disbelieved resorted to bargaining. They said to Noah, “ Listen, O Noah. If you want us to believe in you, expel those who believed in you. They are weak and poor, and we are the masters of the people and their rich. It is impossible for one call to include us with these people.” Noah listened to the infidels of his people and realized that they were stubborn, despite this. He was kind in his response. He made his people understand that he could not expel the believers because, first of all, they were not his guests , but rather they were the guests of God . Mercy was not his house , into which he entered whomever he wished, or from which he expelled whomever he wished. Rather, mercy was the house of God , in which he received whomever he wished. Noah used to discuss all the arguments of the unbelievers with the logic of the prophets. The Noble and Eminent One , who is the logician of thought that strips himself of personal pride, which is his own interests, told them that God had given him the message, prophecy, and mercy , but they did not see that they were given by God, and therefore he does not force them to believe in his message, and they hate that the word “there is no god but God” is not imposed on any human being. Understand them. He does not ask them in return for his invitation He does not ask them for money, so it is burdensome for them. His reward is with God. He is the one who gives him his reward. Understand that he cannot expel those who believe in God, and that he has his limits as a prophet, and his limits do not give him the right to expel believers for two reasons: that they will meet God believing in Him, so how can he expel a believer in God? Then, if he expelled them, they would dispute with him before God. And He would reward those who expelled them . Who would support Noah from God if he expelled them ? Thus, Noah concluded that his people’s demand that he expel the believers was ignorance on their part. Noah went back to telling them that he would not claim for himself more than he had a right to, and he informed them of his humility and humility to God Almighty, for he would not claim for himself what he did not have. God's treasuries , which He has bestowed upon whomever He wills of His servants, and He does not know the unseen, because the unseen is what God Almighty has reserved for Him alone. He also told them that he is not a king, meaning that his status is not like the status of the angels. Noah said to them, "Those who your eyes despise, despise, and belittle - these are the believers whom you despise - their rewards will not be nullified." And you are lost because of your contempt for them. God knows best what is in their souls. He is the one who rewards them for it and takes them to account. I would be unjust to myself if I said that God would not give them good. And the people of that day would be tired of this argument that Noah was arguing with. God related their position on him in Surat Hud. They said, “O Noah, you have argued with us, and you have multiplied our argument, so bring us what you promised us. ” I was one of the truthful ones. He said, “It will only be brought to you by God willing, and you are not miraculous, and my advice will not benefit you if I want to advise you. If God wants to mislead you, He is your Lord and to Him you will be returned.” Noah added their misguidance to God Almighty, recognizing that God is the one who does the work in every situation, except that they deserved to go astray by their voluntary stance. Full of their freedom and the fullness of their will, man is the creator of his actions, but he needs his Lord to issue them from him. With this view, the meaning of holding man accountable for his actions is correct . All that is involved is that God facilitates every creature for what He created him, whether the facilitation is for good or for evil, and this is from the completeness and perfection of freedom. Man chooses with his freedom. So God Almighty will facilitate for him the path of what he chose. The infidels of Noah’s people chose the path of temptation, so God facilitates it for them. The battle continues and the discussion goes on between the infidels of Noah’s people and him. When all the arguments of the infidels collapse and they no longer have anything to say, they begin to go beyond the bounds of etiquette and insult the Prophet of God. The leader of his people said, “ We will see you .” In clear error, he said, “O my people, I am not astray, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds. I deliver to you the messages of my Lord and advise you, and I know from God what you do not know.” And Noah continued to call his people to God, hour after hour, day after day , year after year, and the years passed and Noah called his people. He called them day and night. And secretly and publicly, he gives them parables and explains to them the verses and shows them the power of God in created beings. And whenever He called them to God, they fled from Him. And whenever He called them so that God would forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears and were arrogant in hearing the truth. Noah continued calling his people to God for 1000 years minus 50 years , and he noticed that the number The believers did not increase, while the number of unbelievers increased, and Noah was sad, but he did not lose hope. He continued to call upon his people and argue with them, and his people remained in pride, disbelief, and swagger. Noah was sad for his people, but he did not reach the degree of despair. He maintained hope for nine hundred and fifty years. It seems that the lives of people before the flood were long , and perhaps it was This long life of Noah was a special miracle for him , and the day came when God revealed to him that none of your people would believe except those who had believed. God inspired him not to grieve for them. At that time, Noah prayed for the disbelievers to be destroyed, and Noah said, “ My Lord, do not leave on earth homes for the disbelievers.” Noah justified his call by saying, “You are their offspring.” He leads your servants astray and gives birth only to ungodly and infidels. Then God Almighty issued His judgment on the disbelievers with the flood. God Almighty told His servant Noah that he would make an ark with our eyes and our revelation, that is, with God’s knowledge and teaching, and in His sight , and in accordance with His directions and with the help of the angels. God Almighty issued His command to Noah. Do not speak to me about those who wronged, for they will be drowned. God protects those who have wronged, no matter how important they are Or their kinship to the Prophet, and God forbade His Prophet from addressing him or interceding for them. Noah began planting trees and planting them to make an ark from them. He waited for years , then he cut down what he had planted and began his carpentry. It was an ark of great length, height, and strength. The commentators differed as to its size, shape, number of layers, the duration of its work, the place in which it worked, and the amount of its length and width. On conflicting statements, none of which are true. Al-Fakhr Al-Razi said in all of this, “I know that I do not like this discussion, because these are matters that there is no need to know at all, and there is no benefit to knowing them at all. ” We agree with Al-Razi in this statement of his , for we do not know the truth about this ship except what God told us. God Almighty has bypassed these unimportant details to the content and significance of the story. The important thing is that the peak of the conflict in the story of Noah is evident in this space of time. Falsehood mocks the truth and laughs at it for a long time, imagining that the world is its property and that security is its portion and that torment is not a reality. However, all of this is temporary with a time of arrival. When the flood is harmed, the believers mock the unbelievers , and their mockery is the truth. The making of the ark was finished, and Noah sat waiting for God’s command. God revealed to Noah that if the oven erupted, this would be a sign of the beginning of the flood. It was said in the interpretation of the oven that it was a volcano in the area, and it was said that the furnace located in Noah’s house would emerge from it. The water was abundant and this was a command for Noah to move. Then the terrible day came and the light came and Noah hurried to open his ark and call those who believe in him. Gabriel, peace be upon him, descended to the earth. Noah carried to the ark every animal, bird and beast, two pairs of cows and a bull, an elephant and an elephant, a bird and a sparrow , a tiger and a leopard, and to the last of the creatures Noah had made. He made cages for the beasts while he was building the ship, and Gabriel, peace be upon him, set two pairs of them in front of him to ensure the survival of the type of animal and bird on the earth. This means that the flood drowned the entire earth. Otherwise, there would have been no meaning in carrying these types of animals and birds, and the boarding of the ship began. The animals, beasts, and birds ascended, and those who were safe ascended. Noah , and the number of believers was small. Noah’s wife did not believe in him, so she did not ascend. One of his sons was hiding his disbelief and displaying his faith in front of Noah, but he did not ascend either. The majority of people were also unbelievers, so they did not ascend, and the believers ascended. Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, said: “ Eighty people from Noah’s people ascended. ” Water from the openings of the earth poured from the sky, heavy rain in quantities the likes of which the earth had never seen. The rains from the sky met the waters of the earth and began to rise hour after hour. The seas lost their calm and their waves exploded, sweeping over the land and sweeping the earth. The Earth sank for the first time in water. The water rose higher than the people, surpassed the tops of trees and peaks. The mountains covered the entire surface of the earth, and at the beginning of the flood, Noah called to his son. His son was standing apart from him, and the Lord Almighty tells us the short conversation that took place between Noah, peace be upon him, and his son before the waves turned between them. Suddenly Noah called to his son, saying, “O my son, ride with us and do not be with the unbelievers, ” and the son responded. He said, “I will go to a mountain that will protect me from the water.” Noah returned to address him and said, “There is no protection today from God’s command except those who have mercy. ” The dialogue between Noah and his son ended, and the waves came between them , so he was among those who drowned. Look at the expression of the Holy Qur’an, and the waves came between them. The waves ended their dialogue. Suddenly Noah looked and did not find his son. He finds nothing but the mountains of the waves that rise and lift the ship with them , making it lose sight of everything other than the water. God’s mercy wanted the son to drown away from the father’s eyes, out of mercy for the father. Noah believed that his faithful son imagined that the mountain would protect him from the water, so he sank and the flood continued. He continued carrying Noah’s ark hours after it began. Every eye that blinked on the earth had perished by drowning. There was nothing left of life and living things other than this wooden part of Noah’s Ark. It contains the faithful summary of the people of the earth and the types of animals and birds that were carefully chosen. Today, it is difficult to imagine what the flood or its greatness was. It was a horrific thing that indicates the power of... the creator The ship was sailing with them in waves like mountains. Some geologists today believe that the separation of the continents and the formation of the Earth in its current form occurred as a result of an ancient, mighty flood in which the waters sparked an incomprehensible revolution until they covered the surface of the dry part of the Earth and the bottoms of the oceans rose, and what we can call the geographical revolution took place. Noah's flood continued for a period of time, the length of which we do not know. Then the divine command was issued to the heavens to stop raining , to the earth to settle and swallow the water , and to the timbers of the ark to anchor on Al-Judi, which is the name of an ancient place said to be a mountain in Iraq. The flood cleansed the earth and washed it. God Almighty said in Surah Hud, and it was said, “O.” Earth, swallow up your water, and oh sky, take off, and the water subsided , and the matter was decided, and it settled on Al-Judi , and it was said, “Away with the unjust people.” And the water swelled , meaning the water would decrease, and it went back to the openings of the earth, and the matter was decided, meaning, “It was wiser and finished with it.” Meaning, the disbelievers among Noah’s people perished completely, and it is said that God sterilized their wombs 40 years before the flood. There was not among those who perished a child or young person, and she settled on Al-Judi , meaning she settled on him. It was said that it was the day of Ashura, so Noah fasted and ordered those with him to fast on it. It was said, “A distance from the unjust people,” meaning their destruction . The flood of the earth was cleansed of them and washed it away. The terror went away with the disappearance of the flood, and the conflict moved from the waves to Noah’s soul, remembering his son. Who drowned ? Noah did not know until this moment that his son was an infidel. He imagined that he was a stubborn believer after being saved by taking refuge on a mountain. The waves had ended their conversation before it was completed, so Noah did not know his son’s share of faith. The emotions of fatherhood were stirred in the father’s heart. God Almighty said in Surat Hud and called out to Noah. His Lord , so he said, “My Lord, my son is from my family, and your promise is true, and you are the wisest of judges.” Noah wanted to say to God that his son is from his faithful family, and God promised him that his faithful family would be saved. God Almighty said, informing Noah of the truth about his son for the first time, O Noah, he is not from your family. It is an unrighteous deed. So do not ask me about what you have no knowledge. I advise you not to be one of the ignorant. Al-Qurtubi said, quoting his sheikhs of scholars, and this is the opinion that we prefer. His son, that is, Noah, was a believer in his opinion, and Noah would not say to his Lord, “My son is from my family ,” and that is also the case with him, since it is impossible for him to ask for destruction. Then he asked to save some of them, and his son eased disbelief and demonstrated faith, so God Almighty told Noah about what he alone had of the knowledge of the unseen, that is, you learned about the condition of your son what you did not know. And when God was admonishing him that he should be among the ignorant, he wanted to clear him of the idea that his son would be a believer , then He will perish with the unbelievers. There is an important lesson contained in the noble verses that tell the story of Noah and his son. God Almighty wanted to tell His noble Prophet that his son is not from his family because he did not believe in God, and blood is not the true connection between people. The son of the Prophet is his son in faith. He is the one who follows God and the Prophet. And there is no one who disbelieves in his son, even if he is from his loins. Here the believer must dissociate himself from the non-believer. Here, too, the prayer of belief should continue between the believers. Only Noah asked forgiveness from his Lord and repented to him, and God had mercy on him. He commanded him to get off the ship, surrounded by God’s blessings and care. And Noah got off his ship and released the birds. And the beast dispersed on the earth. The believers descended after that. The Holy Qur’an does not tell us the story of those who were safe with Noah after their escape from the flood.
