hi everybody welcome back to sex drugs and the afternoon [Music] and i'm back with dr seeds how are you today doc doing great i'm doing great karen i'm excited uh i'm excited about today's topic actually because i know it in advance [Laughter] that's true you never know all the topics in advance especially when we do things like amas which is always fun for me it's like my one way of like just having some fun with dr seeds brain um speaking of which dr seuss's brain we had unloaded a giant giant announcement uh last week and if you're a part of dr seeds email list you may already know but we have announced one of your largest events yet it's called the peptide world congress and it is exactly what the name suggests right it's all about of course the peptides that are used um in the medical space uh that are being researched in science um that have data backing it up it's all the things that dr seats has written about in his first book peptide protocols volume one and this this culmination is is huge because you've invited about 20 of your closest friends confidants and colleagues that have giant brains themselves that are going to share all of the this incredible information about the powers of peptides to an audience that is both for medical practitioners and for those people that are interested in in their health and taking taking control of it yeah and i'm i'm really excited about what you said there at the very end it's a combination it's it's where i think more of these meetings need to need to be focused on bringing the practitioners and the people together that are all focused on the same objectives and that's learning and it's learning about about the importance of of where research is presently uh engaged where it's going to be in the future what we're doing to to promote the the evidence that is out there in how we're making judgments and decisions and and trying to provide um this information um in the right way uh in showing where we see um better care in um in medicine going and and the the best part of this is that the the patients and the public are demanding to know more also so what what not where would it not be a better place than to put this all together in in one environment and to really i i mean how do i say this correctly but i mean hey if the people instead of going to some of these conferences that are yeah there may be they may have um speakers and and people that talk about doing things but why not come right to the people that are doing this every day and why not come and hear from the uh what i consider the experts that are are practicing every day and and and representing this every day and not out there promoting um i don't know in some ways being more self-promoting and and not focused on on what we're doing from an educational standpoint and a patient standpoint so why why would you go anywhere else and and i think this is going to set that standard and and i i want to i want to cut through all of that i want to be able to have people ask you know our our our our speakers and myself dr seeds is what do you think of this is this or is this right or you know call it like it is because we can do that and i and you know you know that's what i'm all about no problem calling something out yeah so i think this is going to be fantastic and it's finally the restrictions have been lifted to a point of where we can offer this type of event which uh which i think is cutting edge and will continue to be because i another you know another promise here is that every time this is going to be done and we'll be doing a lot more of these it's never going to be the same because this education is always changing but you got to jump in somewhere and you've i i think this is going to be an environment that has no one has really accomplished this well yet and i think i think everybody's going to see how well we can do it and hey you know what the proof's in the pudding and we'll see what happens but i've you know how we are we just go for it and um i'm excited i'm really excited about it in putting this together and more so just promoting the brilliant people we have in in our group that are all about teaching and all about being part of this promotion of information and again out there all over the country practicing and uh better outcomes you know for their patients and and promoting education zach that's kind of the big difference for me as just a non-practitioner is you're going here to learn from people that are actually practicing this type of medicine daily rather than you know folks that are that may have maybe had some had some kind of research factor in the past but have not really put it into practice although you have some of that too it's i think that's the biggest thing is is there's so much data behind the speakers that are that are speaking that you've chosen and selected that's that's what makes me so excited absolutely and um hey i'm backing every one of these people so so uh this is going to be exciting and it is um i just can't wait to see what all you know what comes out of it is are always better things um and more involvement and and i'm just excited with the growth that we've been able to create um in this particular space of showing people how relevant uh this cellular cellular pathways and signaling are in in really understanding the root causes of problems and and that that shouldn't be just reserved for physicians and um and and healthcare providers i mean people have the same ability to learn all of this and to understand it and that's the that's what i think is going to be really interesting is how these talks are being done they're being done for the practitioner they're going to educate the practitioner but they're also going to be educating the public and i think we've been doing that we've been getting better at messi at that messaging to include all players in that type of environment and that's what makes us very very special so folks if you can go visit pwc.ssrpinstitute.org and you can see the agenda and you can see the details of this event happening in september 10th through the 11th uh this year in las vegas so go check out that for more details on how you can sign up it is priced exceptionally well doc it's something that everybody can afford um and that i think uh is is very evident considering some of the other classes that you've done in the past are at a higher price point because you're talking about a different type of training this one is priced for the public i i certainly appreciated that so thank you for doing that doc and go check it out for more details today's episode everyone is going to be about the agenda and what you're going to learn from this amazing peptide world congress we'll talk about the speakers some of their expertise and of course we're talking about some of the peptides small molecules uh hormones bioidentical hormones and all kinds of other other things that have been making some great great headway scientifically uh for the medical space so this is going to be a good one um i love the lines of the website that's been written for you on on pwc.srpinstitute.org it's we're the pioneers of anti-aging regenerative medicine under one roof and if you look at the all-star lineup you can see why and we're going to start with the first speaker and that's of course dr seems you're going to talk about the future of medicine that will be driven by cellular pathways and signals doc each of these topics got a lot to get through three minutes i'm going to show you a three minute timer well i i don't need to spend a lot of time on each of them because it's going to be very easy to so the future of medicine there's no doubt that this is where we're headed uh and it's it's self-evident in what we've been able to do uh presently with understanding the cellular mechanisms of of these uh signaling agents and pathways that they're involved in and actually just realizing how a cell operates and we have no better we we have the greatest examples in exercise and in nutrition as far as how things can affect cellular metabolism and it's really exploiting on top of that information and where we've where we've gathered so much information and and also from the um aspects of cancer and metabolism we we've been able to put together a lot of information that has been so helpful for us in in where we are today in understanding the origin more of the origins of problems and it's all about again the key here is that the cell is superiorly intelligent and has the ability if given the right circumstances to right the wrongs you know to take care of problems to control cellular senescence the bad things that can happen um to improve metabolic efficiencies and and flexibility of utilization of food groups we eat and so forth that the cell has that natural ability and we spend an extraordinary amount of time in in cellular uh medicine focused on unraveling those truths and finding those and and correlating the research that has been done in all silos of medicine cardiology uh uh uh pathology uh oncology pulmonology nephrology all of the you know the conglomerate of information that has that the interesting thing is that once you start understanding cell mechanisms and pathways it's pretty much the same in every silo of medicine it's just it's just how it works differently and this is the beauty this is the beauty of cellular medicine of where all of a sudden now as you've seen in as we've seen in our uh in in our ssrp group where we have uh nephrologists and we have neurologists and we have neurosurgeons and we have cardiologists and we have interventional cardiologists and we have pathologists and oncologists and so forth where they all talk we all communicate because it's the same language and we bring all of those specialties together so we can critically evaluate what's happening in the world of medicine and there is nothing stronger than that and that's that's what people are going to get a vision of here of how we're all working together and and bringing more of this information out so that's just a brief i know that was longer than three minutes so i lied um you were you're actually just 10 seconds over so it's not bad at all okay that was the best i've ever seen that's kind of where that keynote is going to start to get people excited about what gets me excited about every day and and that just leads into showing off the the the faculty we have that i you know there's there's just they represent the best of the best and and that's the reason they've all been they were all initially um uh you know interviewed and and and um and i brought all of these people individually in to that i saw that could meet these these these particular areas of of where their expertise could be significantly utilized in in our society and and they've none of them have proven me wrong i mean it's been amazing it's such a great segue into our next topics which are uh taught by by two people that are very close to you many of these speakers have been you know following you for years learning about peptides from you for years so i can see why there is that relationship that you have with these incredible incredible doctors and practitioners so to introduce that next topic we've got dr tracy page she's a doctor out of wisconsin her own private practice out there she's awesome she's going to be talking about age-related disease and preventative medicine doc what's that about and well she's just gonna bring about the relevance of of how age is related to disease processes and that we that aging in itself is a disease uh and it can be looked at as a disease but it but we have so much of a better understanding of how how age is a risk factor for for these diseases and so why not work on understanding if we can if we have a better way of working with controlling cell metabolism as we age if we improve that well then by default aren't we going to improve the possibilities of preventing disease processes and the answer is absolutely so it's about understanding those mechanisms and about how potentially cell signaling agents um show how they can change like ghrhs and ghrps and igf-1 and bbc157 are just a couple of the core peptide signaling agents that that have been shown to change um the efficiencies of the cell and and specifically why that's important and what's what's been borne out in the research to show their significance and the fact that in in fact it's just not one pathway they work through but they work through plea trophic effects meaning multiple pathways that make them even more important and just bringing out some of the the important facts of understanding how that kind of sets a platform for cytoprotection of a cell which is very very important because that that's what we're all focused on we're focused on protecting um but also focused on intervention and and and in in in preventing disease but you have to be able to get to the beginning of well how do you protect a cell first and so i think this is going to be just really enlightening and just follows through with so many things we've been talking about in the past but again this all starts from where where you know this this was something that started many many many years ago and i think we have to control or we have to continue to own that space that hey this is where it began and this is where it's going to continue so come listen to our our people that are are the experts and i back that i back every one of them so that topic is is an excellent topic to get the ball rolling for the whole day wow doc you had 22 seconds to spare so it made up the fact that you went over 10 seconds in the previous one i like it well that is again topped by the incredible trace dr tracy page um she is just just a remarkable speaker too i had the pleasure of listening to her at our uh your last alz event which was awesome uh next up we have so she's yeah and you know from tracy's standpoint tracy was picked and she's an internal medicine specialist and she worked she worked in a multi-specialty group she's worked with she's in a very big multi-piece specialty group that she was very did very well at and and she was at a time and point where she had so much information of where you know she had a she had to make uh some choices in moving out into her own intervention or her own integrated practice or functional medicine practice but but she's it's a it's a cellular medicine practice that she chose to pick and um because she's an expert and and i'm i'm just excited to see what she's done and how how how well she's done and there was just no question about that and and that's that's why um that's why people i think will be very impressed with her as a lecturer and uh and and also they'll feel her compassion at the same time it's going to be hard to select between the two ballrooms that we have going on day one we have one ballroom that we're using are our focus topics on day two but friday and friday september 10th we have two large ballrooms going on at the same time because we had so many topics to get through um so it's a little confusing but as you know two stages day one one stage day two um in that second ballroom i don't worry you can but you can buy these recordings if you decide on one or the other um and the recordings will be worth every single penny because there are a total of like 30 something topics that we're we're going to get through these two days um the next topic comes from us from dr sivan newman and she's based out of cali and she's going to be focusing on sleep improvement the circadian rhythms role to health and disease how to improve it with supplements peptides and more that is a big topic doc yeah and and she is well versed in this as as she has been you know again another excellent speaker um and excellent background in being able to really talk to you about utilization of specific or talk to you about the science behind the uh a couple these uh peptides like epitalon and vip and dsip and and their involvement in circadian rhythms and um and their influence uh redox influence and cellular metabolism and how it all comes back to everything's gonna come back to these cellular pathways and signaling and and but but making giving you an understanding of of some possibilities and remember all of these speakers are bringing information to you that is just information to put in your toolbox to make you a better practitioner in understanding disease and and prevention and protection and also to make you as a as a a participant who's not a healthcare provider a give you a better foundation of understanding of how to utilize information and how to make that information work for you that's very very important and i don't think i don't think that's very well done i think a lot of stuff is done out there that's a lot of hype and gets people excited but at the end of the day they don't leave with much and for what we're doing here i think people are going to be i think it's going to be the buzz for the year there's no there's no question in my mind with the amount of time we've put into this and what and the the amount of i know all of these individuals have actually been people that have been working with me for a full year already i mean think about that on top of practicing meeting with me that's organized education that's organization of commitment i i'm i i'm just a curriculum doc yeah i mean this is these topics are that are have depth and have meaning and have a lot of information that we're going to try to squeeze out things that you can take home with you most importantly it also has the answers doc that people might be searching for that they can't find absolutely even in this google world it's still still very very very hard to find concrete information that you can trust about peptides and small molecules and therapy and all these things and you have said to me even that sleep is one of the toughest things that you work on to fix and yet i see you as i shadow you in your practice i see you fixing this so fast for people i shouldn't say that i take it back um [Laughter] next next topic thank you tom next topic comes to us from our very own faculty by the way tracy page is also our newest faculty member uh our next speaker is dr yearth she is one of your first faculty members here at the ssrp institute and she will be talking about the immune system modulation the key to aging and disease yeah and i think this is a a great topic for betsy um because the immune again the immune system you know betsy could spend a couple days on this topic but she's gonna give you her best she can in what 30 minutes it is a 30-minute talk and and and that's that takes a lot of skill to put together a lot of information that makes sense and that's meaningful but we'll give you the sense that the key to aging in disease is understanding how the immune system is interwoven into that process and and what what signaling agents we that are are being researched and investigated and looking at how they are affecting the cell metabolism and cell signaling to improve efficiencies and improve modulation and and that again is uh this is a this is a message that i think betsy can bring to make a lot of sense for people where where maybe this type of topic where we get into immune modulation um that you have to have a very i think you have to have a very broad base knowledge of cellular metabolism um and and been doing what betsy's been doing for many many years with me and studying and and utilizing this information in improving immune modulation and i think so many people have this wrong when they say we're going to up regulate the immune system that is absolutely wrong you're you never the immune system works like a seesaw you always you wanted to be able to to move um like a see-saw when it needs to to for intervention but it always has to be able to level back it always has to be able to correct itself and we never want to up regulate something where it's overdoing something we want the system to be in check and that's a i don't even do it justice when i give you that definition but um uh betsy will make a lot of sense out of that and uh uh i'm very you know very excited to get her on the main stage to uh to show off her talents and and how she can provide that information not just to the practitioner but also to the the people coming to just learn and understand this information a little bit better she is a treat to listen to i i love learning from dr yerth she does a great job at you know speaking to the non-practitioner audience so that one's going to be a great one um like all of the topics and speakers are all great ones our next topic is a it is like the hot topic i want to say it's one of the hot topics it's about iv therapy taught by amy adrianolo and jeremy and she's based out of florida and she you just listen to her talk and you know that there's so much behind what she's saying that she just strikes her as a very very intelligent person like right away um but she's going to be speaking on the goals the dues don'ts for the best patient outcomes using iv therapy and if you haven't heard that buzzword advertisements for that right now all over social media um probably not living it might be living in a cave somewhere off the grid because it's everywhere right doc yeah and i think amy is going to bring to you a serious real world reckoning of iv therapy and what works and what doesn't work that's the key what doesn't work yeah because there's a lot of hype out there with a lot of things that don't work and um and and amy is we're just again i'm just we're really fortunate to have another brilliant brilliant um uh uh person like amy with her uh biochemistry background um which is fantastic to have her around in a lot of my masterminds because because sometimes like betsy and some of the people will say well they'll hear me say something and they'll go to then they'll go over to uh amy and say amy can you can you make us understand what dr caesar said and then i'll feel terrible because i didn't get the message across correctly and then amy will go into her you know in into her way of how she sees what i've just presented and and that's the beauty of teaching it's it's how we all get together and just you know add into to what how we got to learn it and um and i'm still learning right i'm still learning how to to get those messages across better and but but amy is fantastic she did a she did a wonderful topic on uh uh on um vitamins uh in for our alzheimer's um lls uh i'm sorry for ella yeah i'm sorry leukemia lymphoma society meeting yeah it was tremendous and we got so much feedback from that uh that it was and and rightfully so she did a tremendous job and i think this is going to be fantastic um that she's she's she's going to bring this topic to light the where it needs to be and she's been just debunking things for your ssrp people for the last year that i've been able to witness so definitely one of the experts in ivy therapy we are so fortunate to have her as one of our speakers and of course one of our ssrp fellows so that is doc that is amy jaramillo and next up we have oh dr seeds you're giving your second talk of the day and that is to increase energy as you age clinical practice solutions yeah and i know that that's just another you know we're looking at really where has the research gone today in making sense of cell metabolism where where we understand energy metabolism better and specifically is it different in the brain is it different in the liver is it different in the muscle and and bringing that to an understanding of where we can specifically look at signaling agents that have an influence on energy and looking at specifically effects on nuclear cofactors um like nad and nadh and nadp and nadph and adp and atp and what are some of these signaling agents and it seems to be more there's a lot of great information out there on how the mitochondria and the nucleus are co are are are working together in the cell to bring these um pathways to light and a better understanding of how we understand efficiency better and so very exciting you know to bring that topic out and um to be able to make to give people i think a clear understanding of where that's going and what what information has been presented so far and what's being done in clinical trials right now to bring that to light doc just to add to what you've been saying um low energy not having the ability to be awake and about as much as they did in their youth is one of the biggest issues that i know that you face with your patients so this is going to be a really cool topic um because even from friends that my peers my age they can't believe how much energy that i have uh and it's and they think it's something else right because that's some some other kind of stimulant that helps keep me awake uh and it's just not the case it's it's because of the things that dr sees has been teaching me um and the things that i've been doing on my own with the things that that you've been saying like the diet and the exercise all these things that have really made my energy a well that a never-ending well so yes doctor sees always says that i have this much energy all the time and he's not over exaggerating it's all the time and my friend's not okay all right next topic comes to us from jamie costello james costello founder of cloth he's also a fellow of the ssrp he is going to discuss the muscle and its vital role in health optimization in terms of repair building and maintenance and doc i know that you like this topic a lot yeah and this is a great topic for jamie um because of the the clientele that people he works with um from around the world uh specific in their optimization of of muscle fitness and um and he i i think this is just really right this couldn't it couldn't be a better choice for him right now in in really bringing about a better understanding of of how we do focus on the literature and cell signaling and what's what's been out there with information in the past and then present now of where we're going to improving this role of how muscle is a vital role in health optimization and jamie is going to you know jamie not only will be in that he won't just be in that arena he'll be talking about the genomics the the methylation issues that are important i mean you know jamie is uh you can't get much better with his credentialing and um in being able to represent this and and here's the thing so when i say i representing these topics this is this is who i've chosen to represent this topic today but i want to tell you that every one of our speakers up here today could talk on any one of these topics but i think in but i think in in how we're trying to set this up for you for this presentation this is where i feel that this is their um this is their their biggest strength um where i see it right now and and i think all of you are going to see that but everybody's capable of talking about every one of these topics and representing it well so don't let that be lost in the in the translation of all of this here today you're on you're muted sorry i was saying that's very well put if i do say so myself and i love that we're going to talk a lot about like losing weight but dr seuss doesn't say this enough it's losing weight is the first step but then it's also the step and step two almost sounds like it's the building muscle and the maintenance of muscles so maybe that's not a clear cut step one and step two but that goes hand in hand like it's not just about losing that weight it's also about building that muscle that maintains the health and the wellness and the energy and all these wonderful things so um that's going to be a topic that i'm super excited to to hear and listen to uh next topic comes to us from our new xsrp faculty member as well this is dr avid hussein from denver and he's going to talk about the cutting edge cardiovascular treatment research that will greatly i'm sorry cutting edge cardiovascular disease research that will greatly influence our approach to treatment yeah and and here is what so this is just another example of so bid is a great faculty member to have um and i can tell you in particular a bid has been working on this topic and being prepared for this being prepared for this since mastermind one in denver last year oh wow yes because this is where um we i've i had a discussion with the bid and i said bid this is where you know as a cardiologist you you are representing a large part of of this of this cutting-edge cardiovascular care you're providing it in denver it's now you need to bring this out to the public and i'm behind you 100 percent with with with what we're doing um and i'd i've been in contact with him continuously as he's been working on this because i just told him to be prepared i didn't know what format or where we were going to come out you know when this was going to happen but i said it will happen within the year and he was he's stop said that it's all i need to know i'm ready to roll and so i'm really excited for him to be able to uh represent this because again he is um a brilliant brilliant doctor and and to be able to again to highlight it in this fashion um i'm just very excited about it that is that is awesome to hear and he's been working on this for over a year that's incredible um and we all know how important the heart is so i'm sure this isn't i i don't even i have no other details on this dr seuss has not told me anything because he wants everyone to find this out in real time as dr hussein is presenting it so i wish i had more insight to this topic but i don't and i don't think i can get it out of dr seuss well so i so a bid's been preparing to do coursework like this for you know a couple of days two to three days of cardiovascular care so he's going to whittle down everything into a an hour an hour talk yeah yeah imagine that imagine that okay that takes tremendous skill tremendous skill so i'm i'm i'm looking forward to it and excited to uh to to give him this opportunity to show off his uh his expertise well dr c dr hussein has a lot of work cut out for him we'll we'll keep him going on that one um and we're only halfway through the day um right after lunch uh we have another talk from amy jaramillo who will talk about the how to accelerate repair and immune response and some of the peptides that she's going to mention will be tb4 ta1 bpc157 igf1 mgf in addition to some other surprises that she has up her sleeve right doc yes yes yes yes i'm very excited about it that one's gonna be a great one accelerating repair and immune response yeah awesome the next one we have is oh yes with our faculty member the mother of peptides erica schwartz dr erica schwartz out of new york she's going to be talking for an hour on how to influence hormone production and how it's used in clinical practice and she's certainly one of the experts in that field well i mean like i say you know we're i when i bring up erica schwartz i always bring up uzi rice and i i say i i say the king of the west coast and the king of the east coast and they meet in the middle and they are the icons of of um why we're all here i mean these are the people that paved the way they've written the books not one book or two books or three books they've written the books on these subjects and we're just you know or i i'm we're humbled and fortunate to have them as a an influential group that again are still they've been out there practicing for 40 years and and look at these people and look at what they're doing and look how busy they are look how busy they are and their and how great they look yeah i mean erica schwartz is a beautiful woman at the young age of 71 i believe 72. and you would go oh my gosh you got to be kidding me yeah and um so erica i i can't say enough about what a wonderful person she is and of course how her patients love her and um i have loved her for a long time and uh she is uh inspirational and she will bring a warmth to everyone there in understanding that boy i'm really fortunate that you are out there pushing this message for me to be here today to be able to listen and and to know that you forged you were a pioneer in forging this pathway for me and and haven't been influenced you know these are people that haven't been influenced by the industry that haven't been pushed they've been out there just still practicing they haven't done anything differently than taking care of people and doing it well and doing it right and and that's just a lot that's a really good one and the topic is so critical um it's for both men and women it's not just on the women's side so everyone's going to benefit greatly by listening to that talk the next topic is going to be all about neurodegenerative diseases anxiety and depression a biochemical approach to lasting results from dr ann abrahamson she's i don't actually she's somewhere is it michigan doug um but she's also a fellow of the ssrp has a thriving private practice for the last 14 years she's celebrating her 14th year anniversary this week which is so incredible so i can't say enough about annie and how she's like that she's like that person that walks into a room and has that quiet confidence that you you know she's done her homework you know she's been you know she's excited to be there for her patients and she's excited to be there to to continue to provide a specialty of care that she isn't that she's you know experienced and that's turned her changed her life and what i really love about annie is how in all our meetings she always brings her husband and how her husband has been this this guy from the beginning that she said you know you're going to listen to me and i'm going to i'm going to help you and as we know it's done tremendous things for him in in his health and and well-being and um and and she just it speaks volumes of what she's capable of doing um but ann is a she is somebody who walks with just a tremendous quiet confidence and uh but a very very nice person and a beautiful person um that i i think her patients are just so privileged to be with her but she's so smart and so intelligent um that i'm ex i'm just excited for her to get this chance to uh to show off with you know her her um use and understanding of where she's at and what she feels people need to understand in providing um cell signaling uh pathways um with certain signaling agents like dihaxa and cmax and cell ink and some of these other peptides that are that have the data and show what they've been how they've been utilized in research and what what pathways they work on in in uh improving cell efficiency in the in the brain so i'm very excited for her to get this opportunity um and uh and um this is such a uh um a timely topic because of the incredible rise of anxiety and depression you know post coveted lockdowns it's still an issue people are still scared to leave the house have a lot of anxiety about it have a lot of anxiety with all the variants coming out so i think this is so timely um and and it's especially on the neurodegenerative topic it's you know alzheimer's being one of the biggest killers uh one of the top 10 killers of um causes of death in the us so this is going to be a good one then she's got a lot of work cut out for her trying to get this all in 30 minutes but if anyone can do it it's dr abrahamson that's for sure moving on to our next topic and that is oh from our nutritionist that we know and love very much that is natalie nidham and she's going to be talking about the bioregular bioregulator peptides nature's most powerful anti-aging compounds i'm actually really surprised about that one i wanted i want to catch that one which that one in particular is the bioregulators uh and so that one's gonna be a fun one we will also be talking about um the most data-backed homeopathic treatments and that will be taught by a number of ssrp faculty members moving on we also have cutting-edge treatments and protocols to treat diabetes and gut dysbiosis from your very own dr william seeds that one's going to be a great one and of course this next topic dr seeds is one of his close friends and that is justin kirkland ceo of kilokem he's going to be talking about the future of pharmaceuticals as it relates to anti-aging medicine doc anything about that that you can share that particular topic um yeah i mean justin's on the forefront of a small molecule chemistry and research and he is going to bring to you i think some fascinating data or information and data on where we're headed um with the future of repurposing of certain pharmaceuticals and and new small molecules um that will be significant so i'm i'm excited about him being able to to to be there and represent um and and justin is uh you know he he has a knowledge um like no other um in the um in understanding the chemistry uh that it takes to to bring the the uh to bring the the the pharmaceutical to um to its final uh place of you know starting phase one clinical trials and and all the way through but also and that understanding but also the understanding of the real world of what's out there you know with aunt like for instance online peptides versus um compounded type of peptides and small molecules and supplements and i think he's going to enter i think it'll be very interesting to hear from him well very good i'm excited to do that especially because there's so many rumors and misinformation flying around over the legality of peptides that i think this will help to calm some of those waters next topic comes to us from oh dr carl page also ssrp faculty he is not going to give a great presentation on the long-term cognitive function and optimization improvements right doc yeah and i think carl this is a great topic for carl and uh he's well versed in it and um and carl has been with me for a long time um and uh very well educated and used to teach on many uh podcasts um and uh he's very good at sharing his knowledge um with the public and i think that's one of his great skills here but but it's it's exciting for him to be able for him as he did with um with both of our events previous events i i'm really excited for him to have the opportunity to talk on this topic in particular because i think this is something that he'll he he uh he has tremendous uh experience in and that's again um what's important for people to hear yeah and i just found out this about dr page and i'm you know kind of kicking myself for not knowing this about him sooner but he ha he's a he's a pediatrician as well as an internal medicine doctor and so he kind of got like the whole span of practice of a person from when they're babies to you know the geriatrics so that is that is a whole lot of of experience to have and in in real working clinical experience so yeah absolutely it's just another level of the depth of the physicians that we have representing different fields and uh um and carl always brings that that um i think it and it speaks well of why he just is never satisfied with not stopping and learning um and i think that'll be i i think that's what he brings to us every day uh to the ssrp so i'm very excited to have him in representing this absolutely all right next topic is the aesthetics without surgery a deep dive into the most clinical effective treatments and products from dr julio garcia and he's based out of las vegas so we're in his hometown yeah excited about having uh julio and and with us i mean who has been with me for a long time he was faculty with me in um before in other um in in in other organizations that i have run before and he is now a fellow of the ssrp um and julio is going to you know he's a plastic surgeon and he's going to give you from the the s as a practicing surgical plastic surgeon he's going to talk about the aesthetics of cellular pathways and metabolic influences of the cell and how that's important in understanding what we're doing um to improve aesthetics um which he's done very well with this topic in the past and i think it'll be fantastic i like that that's that's uh the the expertise is oozing off of that one i like that a lot and he's in it and he's in his hometown right yes he is he's got he's got a lot of big shoes to fill we're in his hometown um next up we have ooh who's nutritionist and author lee bell i am a huge fan of her myself and she's going to be talking about the lifestyle change um how she assists people with these dramatic lifestyle changing commitments to nutrition and exercise and how to create an effective custom plan that has the maximum long-term results so that is lee dell yeah very exciting i think to have lee and um and uh you know i have no problem letting people know that i work closely with lee and i like her very much because i i we share some of the same patients and i have to say i am always absolutely impressed by all the patients she works with because because they are they are tuned in they are tuned in like i've never seen anybody like that and and it's just so exciting when i get uh to work with one of her patients um and and from that fashion and she's uh uh you know this this is another opportunity we we again lee is just well well-versed and has worked with many um many other very good physicians around the country and she just has great relationships and this is i love giving her the opportunity to bring her expertise um to our our uh practitioners but also to the public to understand um how we value um as you saw about natalie and you see with lee we we value the nutritionists we value the the therapist we value the the trainers we value the strength trainers and coaches i mean everybody's valued here um in particular just with the messaging we're giving uh in this course the fit in really well into some of the topics and they deserve the main stage and so i'm really excited about that and you in in your own life and your own practice doc you say if you can fix somebody help somebody with without a single drug you'll do it with diet and exercise so 100 and i i catch a lot of flack about that where people want to throw things at them and i even get it from my own members sometimes like oh well i would just go right to this and i'm like okay um but uh that's always been my philosophy it's what's gotten me to where i am right now it's gotten to me it's it's why i am where i am right now with my health um uh but it's um it it's just so exciting because we never know enough i mean even nutrition nutrition is constantly we're learning more and more about it and but that's where all the great research has been that's where all the tremendous amount of research has been in nutrition and it's right in front of us and so when we can share that and provide that information um with the public of how important it is um i think that's our job and and lee is just you said it so well though the you you team up on a lot of these her her clients and they are the the the dream people right they're the ones who are so healthy already but just want to be even better and that is so inspiring the people that she brings over um i'm just inspired by our patients so that one's gonna be a great one um the next topic that we have over here is from oh your friend dr patrick bradshaw phd who's going to talk about the most efficient energy source the body craves yeah i'm excited for patrick i think this is uh i mean you know he comes from the veach philosophy of of uh uh and his history of ketones and ketone esters and that's what he's going to be he's going to be focusing on ketones and you're going to hear from one of the world's leaders that i get the privilege of working with and writing with and learning from and he's just put out a so he just put out a couple of new papers in fact we're finishing up another paper here recently um but patrick is brilliant and will bring i think um a great message um for everyone to listen to we had done some previous work with him privately with some ssrp um education stuff for practitioners and i remember listing off counting off 60 over 60 research papers that he was he was a part of and had been cited on and it's just remarkable so let's that's definitely a great one that we're super excited to have um and then we're going to end that first day with a great peptide panel with all the faculty members and a couple of other peptide experts that dr seeds will put on the stage for our first peptide panel and that'll be questions from the audience it'll be questions that we prepare in advance that we ask in fact if you have a question about a particular peptide send it to us at info ssrpinstitute.org and we will add it to our very long list that we're going to definitely have for this peptide panel and we're going to make sure it's not just all coming from the audience it's also coming from the email questions and the social media questions that we receive so send those over in your subject line please mention peptide panel pwc you do have to at least be a part of the peptide world congress in order to see the answer but that's a small price to pay to get your questions answered all right so that about wraps up day one um day two we have one ballroom on day two again sorry for the confusion on that and we're gonna kick the day off with dr seeds filling us in on the latest cutting-edge research and treatments for arthritis and osteoporosis oh yeah yeah and i think that's um that's really there is there's so much advancement there's been so much advancement in research in this area and the importance of cell metabolism and cell signaling that i i'm just i'm excited to get the opportunity to talk about something that is that has been a a very critical part of my growth um in this world of cellular medicine from the very beginning and so i think it's just going to be exciting to talk to you about some of these pathways and some of the cell signaling research and what some of these um some peptides and small molecules have been successful in um in conveying uh this message of are there other answers to arthritis and what we can do and where is that going and so are you also going to be able to have um any preventative measures for arthritis enough absolutely awesome awesome awesome so there's i think that's going to be a that's going to be a common topic all the way through with a lot of these um topics is is how the information does relate um you know specifically to prevention also that's awesome uh the next topic comes to us from dr woosterhausen also ssrp faculty he just wrapped up this amazing uh hormone therapy course with us that we did with our masters um he's going to talk about the latest sexual dysfunction clinical treatments and he is someone with a lot of data behind his belt so under his belt yeah and i think chris is uh is been a he's been a tremendous part of the ssrp again he's been someone else that's followed me for a while um many years uh and been in in studying uh cellular medicine and and understanding biochemistry and molecular pathways to improve his patients and outcomes and so forth and uh no better example than chris in what he's been able to do in his practice and provide for his patients again a very very very busy practitioner um that continues to um to go out there to learn for his patients is are people i should have mentioned this earlier it just popped in my brain the difference between these speakers is they all walk the talk they don't just talk the talk right they walk it um and so he used to be very overweight he's very he's very open about his past and then he changed it all around because he didn't accept that part of it of his life as as he was aging so i love that story that he comes from and i have to say all of your doctors that you bring here are the fittest doctors i've ever seen it's like some kind of bodybuilding show i love it or beauty contest um we've got i know you have to jump off soon so doc i'm gonna fly through these next couple topics yeah it's not gonna do it justice but we have time uh next one is duncan ross your friend dr ross ph steve the founder of camaro labs he's going to talk about a great topic exosomes utilizing clinical practices and potentials for the future yeah and i think um again uh bringing you scientists that are on the cutting edge and doing doing solid bench work but also bringing into clinical practice and doing it the right way and sending the right messages and i've had the fortune i've been i've had the fortune of of working with duncan and and speaking at other um engagements with him where we present uh you know the biochemistry and the molecular biology behind the um understanding of what this research is capable of doing in in improving um uh outcomes for um or cell efficiency basically and and the immune system and everything else so i i'm always excited to have duncan because he's a he's a realist and um and he's uh he's a brilliant uh scientist and and he's but he's on both sides of of the practice of bringing things to clinical practice that are relevant and doing it the right way and presenting it the right way so um again i i back i back to people doing it the right way and um and and their brilliance and that's where that's where duncan is absolutely and i hate to rush you because we have some amazing topics that we really need to hit but we have we have one minute for each topic doc and that is the next one is dr bautista he has two thriving practices in chicago and in fresno california he's going to talk all about testosterone peptide therapy for men building muscle for all in terms of cases for young folks in terms of seniors battling sarcopenia i mean he is such an expert in this field yeah and again juan is fantastic because he's he's doing the job he's out there he's charismatic i mean um he'll capture the crowd like no one else as he always does and uh you know he did a tremendous job for us in our um in our home in our upcoming uh master class our master course in hormones um so i'm i'm really excited to have juan here to represent us that is such a good one um and then next you have an interview with one of your one of your researchers that you actually have just recently met but have been citing for a long time dr good now you're going to have a fireside chat with him about his uh about his work with alzheimer's yeah and it's it's exciting actually to kind of to to bring uh to bring him here to this course and to be involved with us because um that's absolutely correct i have been citing his research for a long time in my talks and and in bringing up what i thought was um was just um a tremendous um uh intuitive look into the um into the cell membrane and just as of um you know this year i've gotten to uh speak with him and gotten to actually know more about where he's gone with his research and i had no idea to this to where he's gone to um from his basic uh from all the work that i used to cite on him and so i'm really excited to have him here it is because he brings in something else that is really relevant into how all these receptors and these cell signaling agents have to work in concert with the cell membrane and um he's done a fantastic job in that um and that's where his research has been for uh the last 20 you know over the last 20 years so it's really exciting to have that love that one and our next talk is going to be from pharmacist leonard pastrana out of florida also fs a fellow of the ssrp he is going to talk about the most data back supplements out there today oh yeah yeah and i i think this is just right up leonard's alley um because he fits in so well here and has such a great knowledge of biochemistry and molecular biology um to put together an understanding of what makes sense from these from the supplement side and i mean you could talk on a lot of things but this is just a great topic and i think this is one that nobody should miss absolutely especially if you want to know the things that work and don't work last but not least oh no we have a couple more uh next talk is a safe approach to cancer care using peptides and supplements in conjunction with chemotherapy that's a very difficult topic to discuss but the person who is bringing this to light is dr willa valley also fellow of the ssrp yeah and will um brilliant brilliant brilliant uh and he's been on my podcast with me and he's been integral in um answering a lot of our uh working with me and answering questions outside of uh some of our cancer discussions and um will has put in is he's put in years and years and years of research um and practical knowledge to where he's got amazing protocols um in working in this in this on this side of uh adjunctive care and i'm i'm just excited to have will participate because again another brilliant person involved in understanding who's really his focus has been biochemistry and molecular biology for the last 25 years so i'm excited to bring him in and he brings that specialization of cancer where most people are afraid to talk about the bc the big c he he tackles it with with just so much great data and science and logic and reason and oh gosh it's it's a treat to listen to um so we had dr bautista talking about men and testosterone it wouldn't be complete have we not been talking also about women were just as important if not more and that who better to speak about that topic than dr uzi rice obgyn also faculty members talking about the importance of estrogen and women's health gosh like i said there can't be anybody better in the world than to talk about this and that's dr uzi rice who's written books about it and he brings all the research to a new level to give people the real understanding of what where women have been robbed of understanding the importance of estrogen and uh just completely lied to this led and lied to absolutely that's what he says to me absolutely i believe it um well folks after that dr seeds wraps it up with the promising future that he thinks is so bright for peptides and that being the biggest feature of medicine in general which is a big statement to say but you'll see why he says that if you join us at the peptide world congress september 10th through the 11th in las vegas nevada at the four seasons it's a lovely non-casino hotel to help us focus on the medical research at hand but also it's directly connected to the mandalay bay and you have access as a four season's guest to all of the mandalay bay's wonderful
