Myron Golden's Business Principles Explained

And we're back and I am so excited about our next speaker. Wasn't Michael Ray Newman amazing? Fantastic. This next gentleman that's going to hit the stage here in just a little bit, I've known now for seven years, I've learned so much. One simple strategy that I learned from him has made me over a million dollars. Just one simple strategy and you're going to have him here for the next hour and a half. and probably even a little bit more. He's all the way from right here in Tampa, where we're from. Please make welcome my good friend, my mentor, my colleague, Mr. Myron Golden. Thanks, Dave. Thank you, sir. Appreciate it, brother. Yes, sir. Welcome here. All right. Great crowd. Great crowd. Wow. EdgeCon, how exciting is that? I want to ask you guys a question. How many of you would like to take your business to the ultimate level, like max out your business and do it completely? based on truth or what I call or biblical principles or what I call truth. How many would like to do that? Okay, so that's exactly what we're going to show you how to do. How many would like to do that sooner rather than later? I'm going to share with you principles that I have learned that have taken our business to multiple seven figures. In fact, we just launched a new campaign last week. My son and I partnered on it. There's nothing like family business, by the way. My son and I partnered on this last week, on this new marketing strategy, and it did $1,039,000 last week. Now, we're used to having six-figure months, seven-figure months, and seven-figure days sometimes, but consistently, to be able to crank out like seven figures a week, seven figures in an instant. The next time we launch this campaign, which will be at the end of this month, we fully expect to do somewhere between three and five million dollars. It's just absolutely mind-blowing. But all of it, every single solitary thing that I do, I do it based on biblical principles. My name is Myron Golden. I've got a, and not that this matters, but I've got a PhD in biblical philosophy. And so I understand and I'm a diligent student of how the Bible applies to business and every other aspect of our lives. And I want to share those principles with you. with you because I believe those principles will take your life to the next level. And I want to talk to you about what I call Bible success secrets. And a lot of people say, Bible success secrets? What does that mean? Well, what it means is everything that God has ever created, he created to succeed. And he made birds to fly. Guess what they do? They fly. He made fish to swim. They swim. He made the wind to blow, it blows, the sun to shine, it shines. Everything that God ever created, he created it to succeed. And when he created you, he created you to succeed as well. He created you for a purpose, put you on this earth for a purpose, and he desires and has already designed you to succeed in that purpose. Now, a lot of people don't realize that Business is a good idea because business is a God idea. Man is not, man didn't invent the concept of business. God created the concept of business when he put people here. In fact, in fact, business is a good idea because business is a God idea. idea. Sales is a good idea because sales is a God idea. Like selling is a good idea because selling is a God idea. Uh, I'm going to make another statement that's going to kind of blow your mind. Um, and a lot of people don't know this, but it's It's in the Bible. That's where I got it from. Wealth is a good idea because wealth is a God idea. And I believe in all of those principles and I learned them directly from scripture and I've implemented them in my life and help my clients implement them in their lives and created a better experience of life for them, for their families and for the people they serve. So if you're ready to go, let's go. The first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to show you that business is a good idea because business is a God idea. And I'm going to show you a con. concept that I call the basic five and the basic five for building your business. And it doesn't matter what kind of business you have. If you've got a business that sells a product, if you've got a business that sells a service, if you've got a business that sells ideas or trinkets or whatever, I'm going to show you what I call the basic five for creating a successful business. So the basic five, the first principle of the basic five is this. The primary purpose for having a business is wealth. Profits now what does that mean why do I say the primary business for having a business is wealth producing profits well the reason I say that is because Business is way too hard just to do it to make money. If you're going to build a business, you want to create some wealth from that business. What do I mean when I say wealth? I mean abundance. I mean more money than you can spend. I mean building a family legacy and being able to leave wealth to your children and your children's children. It's interesting to me. that the scripture doesn't say that a good man, it says a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. The scripture doesn't say that a person who doesn't go to church has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel. I believe that being a part of a church is a very important aspect of our lives, but it doesn't say that a person who doesn't tithe, and I believe tithing is very important, but it doesn't say the person who doesn't tithe has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel. It doesn't even say that a person who doesn't, a person who doesn't. sing worship songs has denied the faith and is worse than infidel. But what it does say, it says, if any man provide not for his own, especially for those of his own house, by the way, that doesn't just include you and your spouse and your children. It also includes parents and parents-in-law. It also includes siblings. Like we are responsible for our family's well-being. That's why God told the children of Israel, it says, if you have the opportunity to do good to your brother who dwells near you, and you don't do it, that's a shame unto you. So here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna understand the scripture does say, if any man provide not for his own, especially for those of his own house, he's denied the faith and is worse than an infidel. Hmm, maybe that's why Abraham, when his nephew, not his son, his nephew Lot, was kidnapped and taken captive and enslaved by five kings, this man, who was a man of God, he armed the servants that were born in his house and he went out and he fought against five nations to bring his family back. That's a very powerful concept when you understand it. So wealth producing profits. Now, when I say wealth producing profits, a lot of people, a lot of church going people, a lot of Bible believing people have a problem with the word wealth. They don't like, they don't like the word wealth. They don't like the word, they don't like the word wealth. They don't like the word rich. They don't like the word success. They don't like the word prosperity. But here's the reality. All those are Bible words. They're all in the Bible. Every single one of these words is in the Bible. Prophets is in the Bible. Riches is in the Bible. Wealth, success, prosperity. Oh, let me leave this one out. Abundance. Those are all God's words. Those are all words that God put in his word. In fact, the scripture says, the thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. And then Christ said, but I am come that you might have life and that you might have it how? More abundantly. Life more abundantly? Oh, that's talking about eternal life. That's part of what it's talking about, but that's not all it's talking about. It's talking about every aspect of your life. When you are experiencing Christ, every aspect of your life is going to be more abundant. So it's interesting. The scripture says in all labor, there is profit. The first person the Bible tells us was rich was Abraham. In Genesis chapter 13, verse number two, it says, and Abraham was very rich in cattle and silver and gold. The word success is only used one time in the Bible, and it's used directly in conjunction with applying God's word to your life. Here's what it says. Joshua 1, verse 8. It says, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. And then thou, you, will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. People were asking God, please bless me, Lord. Make me successful. Make my way prosperous. God said, no, that's your job. My job was to give you the Word. Your job is to fill your life with the Word. And when you fill your life with the Word, when you talk about it, this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth. When you talk about the Word of God, but thou shalt meditate there day and night, think about the Word that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. Take action on the Word. Then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Hmm, isn't that interesting? Isn't it interesting that it says in Isaiah chapter 55, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. I want you to see what God just said. God said, just like the rain and the snow come down from heaven and make the earth produce, so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It's going to water your life and make it produce. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth, and it, my word, shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereunto I sent it. So the word of God. is the thing that produces the profit. My job is to get the word in me so that the things I do will prosper. Now, somebody, are you talking about a prosperity gospel? I haven't seen those terms together in the Bible, so I'm not going to use those terms. I've seen the word prosperity, and I've seen the word gospel, but I haven't seen them together, prosperity gospel. What I am talking about, I'm not talking about a prosperity, quote, prosperity gospel, but I definitely don't believe in a poverty gospel either. I believe in an accurate, biblical interpretation of God's Word. And a big part of that is I know that he put me on this earth. One of my jobs. as a father, as a man. By the way, the Hebrew word for father is the word Abba, right? And it's really interesting that in, like in English, Abba is spelled A-B-V-A, right? So that's the word Abba in English, but in Hebrew, it's spelled Aleph, Beit, Aleph Beit. That's it, Abba. And it can be pronounced Av or Abba, and it's... Really interestingly enough, this letter right here is the letter that represents God. This letter represents the house. So who is the father? He's God in the house. What does that mean? The father's job is to represent God in the home. My job as a father is to represent God in the home. What does that mean? Well, what is God? God is the progenitor. He's the progenitor of the home. Right? He starts the, he's the one who started it, right? He's not only that, but he's the protector of the home. So as a father, I'm supposed to be a protector. I'm supposed to protect my family, but he's also the provider of the home. So I'm supposed to be the progenitor, the protector, and the provider. But not only a projector, progenitor, and provider, but also the promoter in the home. I'm the one who promotes my children. to become all that they can be. These are the things. Remember what God said after Christ was baptized? This is my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased, right? So the father's job is to promote the children. All of these things are what God does. Well, guess what? My job as God in the house, and I'm not God in the house, I'm God's representative. I am the person who is to exemplify God to my wife and to my children. I am to be an Abba. I'm to be an Abba in my community. I'm supposed to represent God in my community. I'm to be an Abba in my business. I'm to represent God in my business. And so a part of that is, a part of that is producing wealth. How do I know that? Because God is a God of abundance. And so if I'm representing him, then I'm going to be a man of abundance. And somebody asked me, one of my friends who's a real estate agent in Pennsylvania, asked me one time, I said, Myron, I don't understand. Why are you so, like, intent and so, so focused on creating wealth? And my answer to her shocked her. I said, because I don't want to misrepresent Christ in the marketplace. God is a God of abundance. And if I'm walking around in lack, I am misrepresenting him. And so when I think of wealth producing prophets, Why do I believe that that's such an important part of business? Well, I believe it's an important part of business because wealth is a good idea because wealth is a God idea. So I was in my house one day and I was meditating on scripture and concepts as I often do. And fascinatingly enough, I was thinking about gold. And the reason I was thinking about gold is because gold is the substance that has represented wealth throughout all... History in every country everybody like you got a lot of gold you're wealthy right and so I'm and there So a lot of people don't understand when you're interpreting the Bible You can't you can't take a verse and just make it mean something I love what my daughter always says she says The verse can never say what it's never said and it can never mean what it's never meant right so so if indeed this passage Says it it has always said it and if it means it's always minute I can't just move I can't just lift it out of context and apply it to something and then act like it meant that all along, right? So if I'm going to interpret Scripture properly, numero uno, number one, I have to apply the law of context. What is the law of context? Who's talking? Who are they talking to? What are they talking about? When are they talking? Where are they talking? All of that comes into play. What are the verses that came before? What are the verses that came after that? All of those are in the context. If the... If my understanding of a passage of Scripture doesn't line up with the verses that came before it and the verses that came after it in the passage, I have misunderstood it. In fact, if my understanding of a passage of Scripture, one verse, five verses, 15 verses, if my understanding of a passage of Scripture does not line up with all of the verses in the Bible, if it's out of context with any other verse in the Bible, I have misunderstood that passage. So the Bible doesn't contradict itself. People say, well, the Bible contradicts itself. No, your misinterpretation of the Bible contradicts it. And so context. Number two is the law of definitions. I know you probably didn't know you were going to get a Bible study, did you? But see, here's what I want you to understand. Yes, I'm a successful businessman, but my business is successful because it's based on first principles. It's not based on analogy. What does that mean? Well, analogy is I look around and see what everybody else is doing and I do what they're doing. First principles are I go and look at the principle and what does the principle say I should do? And then I do what the principle says I should do. And then I get a result that nobody else is getting because everybody else copied the person who copied the person who copied the person who copied the person who copied the person who copied the person who copied the person who have maybe or maybe not initially created that concept based on principle. Right. And so so anyway, so I go back to first principle. So so the first principle is the law of context. The second one is the law of definitions. What is that? That is, I have to in order for me to understand. Any passage of scripture, I have to look up all the words in the passage in their original language or if I, because if I don't know what the words mean, I can't know what the word means. I hope you picked up what I just put down. Okay. So that's the law of, that's the law of definitions. And the third law is the law of first mention. Here's how the law of first mention works. Anytime we find something mentioned the first time in scripture, that's God's original design for that thing. However he mentions it first. that's going to be pretty much the consistent use of it, which makes sense when you think of the law of context, right? Okay, so you say, why are you telling us all this? Because I was in my house thinking about gold, and I thought, hmm, the law of first mention, I wonder how gold is first mentioned. Hmm, Genesis is the first book in the Bible. I wonder how many times gold is mentioned in the book of Genesis. I thought, well, it's got to be in there at least 500 times. That's what I thought, right? It's got to be in there 500 times. Book of Genesis, 50 chapters, it's got to be in there at least 500 times. It wasn't in there 500 times. Wasn't there 100 times? Wasn't there 50 times? Gold is mentioned in the book of Genesis exactly eight times. Now, you may say, okay, what's the significance of that? Oh, there is significance because every number has significance. One is the number of unity. Two is the number of separation or holiness. Three is the number of God. Four is the number of the earth. Five is the number of grace. Six is the number of man, but it's also the number of falsehood. Seven is the number of completion. Eight is the number of infinity. Abundance, eternity, and the new beginning. In fact, if you take the number 8 and you turn it on its side, it is the symbol for infinity. So 8 is the number that represents abundance. And gold, the substance that represents abundance, is mentioned in the first book in the Bible exactly 8 times. Now for me that was a... But maybe that's not enough for... Maybe this will help you. God used the adjective good... in Genesis chapter 1 to describe what he had made exactly seven times, showing that what he made in Genesis chapter 1 was good. Everything he made in Genesis chapter 1 was good. The eighth time God used the adjective good to describe what he had made was in Genesis chapter 2, verse 12, where it says, there's gold in that land, and the gold in that land is good. So gold is the eighth thing that God said is good. That's how I know that wealth and abundance... And gold and finance is a good idea because it's a God idea because God says it's good. See, here's what human beings say. Well, money is neither good nor bad. It's neutral. It just makes you more of what you already are. That sounds really good. And it sounds like, well, that makes sense. Only fact, only problem is it ain't true because it's not what God said. God said it's good. Now, here's what else is kind of fascinating. Maybe it's not fascinating to you, but it fascinated me. But I'll tell you a little secret. I'm easily fascinated. Okay, so here's what it says. I find it fascinating that there are two people in the Garden of Eden. Their relationship is they are married to each other. There are no stores, food is free, there's nothing for sale, and there's nothing to buy, and yet God put gold in the Garden. And, he didn't just put it there, he put it there, and then after he put the gold in the Garden, he told us he put it there, and then he didn't just put the gold there, and then not only did he tell us it's there, but he told us that the gold is good. Why would God put gold in the Garden of Eden? Do you understand the Garden of Eden? The word garden means enclosure, so it was enclosed. The word Eden means pleasure. So the Garden of Eden was God's protected, protected place of pleasure. Hmm. Why is... Protected place of pleasure, yes, that's God's ideal environment for his people, in the protected place of pleasure, where there's always more than enough provision. Now what's fascinating about that is there's two people, nothing for sale, nothing to buy, and yet God put gold there. And he told us it was good. Why? Because God wanted us to understand that wealth and abundance and prosperity is natural for the environment of the children of a king. So... The primary purpose for being in business is wealth producing profits. I am in business. The number one reason I'm in business. Yes, my business has to serve people. I get that. I'm not saying it shouldn't serve people. It should. The objective of my business should be to serve people. The objective of me owning the business is to create wealth for my family. So that my family is taken care of. And our business, my son and my daughter are both business partners. Obviously, my wife's my business partner. So we got a family business. We got father, husband, wife, son, daughter, all business partners. All make money from profits of the business. Then my son and my daughter also have their own businesses that they run. separately from the business that we are partners in, and we all create wealth. And it's so cool to watch your children grow up and become entrepreneurs who would rather take a risk on themselves than being somebody's indentured servant. It's mind-blowing. So wealth producing profits, wealth is a good idea because wealth is a God idea. So interestingly enough, God put gold in the Garden of Eden. Now here's what's fascinating. The other thing I was fascinated, remember I told you... eight times gold is mentioned in the book of Genesis. Okay, that's cool. That's kind of cool. You want to know something even cooler? Every time. That's what's, not six out of eight times, not five out of eight times, not even seven out of eight times. Eight out of eight times gold is mentioned in the book of Genesis. It's always, always, every time. It's mentioned in conjunction with God's people. What does that tell me? That tells me that God put wealth and abundance on the earth for his people. Now, that's kind of mind-blowing. Because not only is it okay... For God's people to create wealth, it is God's design and God's desire and a part of God's plan for his people to create wealth. And by the way, I know this, I mean, it's obvious, it can't just be in one place in the Bible. But if it is one place in the Bible, it will also be somewhere else in the Bible. But in Genesis, every time gold is mentioned, it's mentioned in conjunction with God's people. The first time, the first time gold is mentioned in the book of Genesis, Genesis chapter 2, verse... verse 11 and 12, it says there's gold in that land, the gold in that land is good. It's mentioned as providence. What is providence? That means to provide in advance. God put the gold in the garden before he put the people in the garden with the gold. What does that tell me? That tells me that God put my prosperity in the garden of my entrepreneurship, in the garden of my employment. Why? How do I, garden of my employment, what does that mean? Well, the scripture says, that when God made man, he put him in the garden to dress it and keep it. So God put our work here before he put us here to do the work. And God put our payment here before he put us here to collect the pay. So it's so mind-blowing that the first time we see gold mentioned, Genesis chapter 2, verse 11 and 12, don't take my word for it, go read it for yourself, it's mentioned as providence for God's people. The second time gold is mentioned, it's in Genesis chapter 13, verse number 2, and it's mentioned as a possession. I spelled that wrong. Okay. Possession by God's people. That's pretty cool. Here's what it says. Genesis 13 verse 2. And Abram was very rich in cattle and silver and gold. Hmm. That's fascinating. The first person the Bible tells us was rich was Abram, the father of the faithful, the friend of God. Isn't that fascinating? It's kind of cool. Abba. Abram. Which means father. It means father. of, it means the high father or exalted father, right? So possession by God's people. The third time it's mentioned, it's mentioned in Genesis chapter 24 or 25. I don't remember which one, but it's mentioned that it's mentioned as proof of God's people. What does that mean? Well, the Bible tells a story about Eleazar. He goes to find a wife for Isaac. When he goes to find a wife for Isaac, he says, God has blessed my master with great wealth and great abundance. And my master has left everything that God gave him to his son. And his son, Isaac, is who I'm looking for a wife for. And when Rebecca's parents, her mom and her brother said, don't you want to just hang out here for another week? She said, I got mama. I got a rich husband waiting for me. I got to go. It says that Eliezer gave gifts, put gold on Rebecca's arms, gold bracelets on her arms, and gave gifts to her mother and to her brethren to prove that Abraham was rich. Wow. That's mind-blowing. Wait a minute. Not the last time, but one of the last times it's mentioned is mentioned in Genesis 41, 42, and that is it's mentioned. as a provision for God's people. Now, what does that mean? Well, this is the only time we're going to find in the book of Genesis, wealth, gold in the hands of somebody who's not a child of God. And we see in Genesis 42, 41, 42, here's what we see. We see that the scripture says that Pharaoh took the gold necklace off his neck, put it on Joseph's neck, took the gold ring off his finger, put it on Joseph's finger. Which means the only time we see a... person who's not a child of God in the book of Genesis, in the first book of the Bible, having gold, they are handing it over, which tells me that the reason God has given people who are not his people the power to get wealth is so that they can hand it over to God's people. They're going to go out and work really hard and gather it up and store it up so they can hand it over. And I know some of y'all don't like the sound of that, but it's in the Bible. In fact, another verse, Ecclesiastes chapter 2, verse 26 tells us the same thing. It says, for God giveth to the man that is good in his sight, both riches and knowledge. No, wisdom and knowledge and joy. That's what it says. So God gives to the man that is good in his sight, wisdom and knowledge and joy. Go read Proverbs chapter 8 and 9 and see what the sidekicks of wisdom are. I'm not even going to go there right now. But wisdom and knowledge and joy. Okay. And then it says, but to the sinner. So now he said one thing, but now he's getting ready to show us a contrast. What's the contrast? He says, Listen. but to the sinner, he giveth travail. What is travail? Travail is hard labor. So to somebody who's not a child of God, God gives hard labor. Why does he give them hard labor? To gather and to heap up. Why? That he may give to him that is good before God. It is in the Bible. I didn't read it. And then it says, this is also vanity and vexation of spirit. What does that mean? That means if you live your life for just life under heaven, then you've wasted your life. which is what people who are not people of God do. They live their life to accumulate stuff, and they've wasted their life. But when we are yielded to God's plan for our lives, and we are renewed in right relationship with him through the death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Christ, then we become God's people, and he has for us the blessing of wisdom and knowledge and joy, and the fact that people who are not God's people are going to hand it over. Now, I know what that does for you. Some of you are thinking, you're thinking, wait a minute, wait a minute, Myron, are you saying that wealth exists on planet Earth for God's people? That's exactly what I'm saying. But you're probably thinking, if that's true, why are so many evil people rich and why are so many God's people broke? I know you, you got to admit, come on, we're my people. Y'all know you are thinking that, right? Because I'd be thinking it. I'd say, wait a minute, wait a minute, whoa, time out, baby, time out, time out. How come all of these evil people have all of this money? And so many of God's people are struggling. Well, if that is a legitimate question, and it is, we know there has to be a Bible answer. There has to be a biblical answer as to why so many of God's people are broke and so many evil people are rich. God's not going to leave us without a clue, so I'm going to tell you what the answer is. I'm going to read it to you. I'm going to read it to you from Luke chapter 4, and it's mind-blowing. I've been going to church my entire life, like since my mom and dad were taking me to church before I could remember. literally before I could remember. And what's interesting is that even though they were taking me to church before I could remember, and I've heard, and then I went to a Christian school my last couple years of high school, then I went to a Christian college, I've heard literally, I'm not exaggerating, I have heard thousands of sermons. Thousands. I have never, what I'm about to read to you, I have never heard a preacher one time in my life ever talk about what I'm about to show you, ever. And I've heard thousands of sermons. So I haven't heard it, and I've heard thousands of sermons. If you didn't grow up going to church, and you didn't go to Christian school and a Bible college and heard thousands of sermons, literally. When I was in Christian school, I heard sermons every day in chapel. When I was in Bible college, I heard sermons every day in chapel and in Bible class. And I never heard this verse talked about. So this is right after Christ is baptized. He's led into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Here's what it says in Luke chapter 4, verse number 5. Here's what it says. And the devil, taking him up into a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee. And the glory of them. The glory of them what? The glory of them kingdoms. I'm going to give you all this power and the glory of the kingdoms that you can see. And then he said, this is the part I've never heard anybody talk about. Here's what he said. For that is delivered unto me. What? That what? That power of kingdom is delivered unto me. And here's what else he said. And to whomsoever I will, I give it. So Satan said, the power of kingdoms, to build kingdoms, is delivered to me, and I give that power to whoever I want to give it to. So the first question I have is this. Who gave Satan the power to build kingdoms? That's a good question. Who gave Satan the power to build kingdoms? Somebody had. He said, it's given to me. He said, that power, the power and the glory to build kingdoms is given to me. I'm going to give it to you if you'll bow down and worship me, but it's been given to me. And then I give that power to whoever I want to give it to. First question, who gave it? And the first time somebody asked me that question, my friend Bishop Wayne Malcolm, who gave it to him? I said, I don't know, God. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. God did not give Satan the power to build kingdoms. God gave man the power to build kingdoms. power to build kingdom in Genesis chapter 1 verse 28. In fact, the very first thing God ever said to a human being ever was this. It says in Genesis 1 verse 27, 28, and God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and multiply. multiply and replenish the earth and have dominion. The word dominion is a part, that's the root word of the word kingdom. The word kingdom is a word that means king's dominion, right? And so God gave the power to build kingdoms to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve gave the power to build kingdoms to Satan when they listened to him instead of listening to God. And Satan said, all this power will I give you because it's delivered unto me and I give it to whomsoever I will. So the first question was, who gave it to, who gave Satan the power to kingdom? And the answer is Adam and Eve. So the next question is, who do you think Satan is more interested in giving the power to build kingdoms to? His children or God's children? Hmm. Satan is more interested in giving the power to build kingdoms to his own followers, to his own children. He said to him, so will I give it? Huh. Satan gives his children the power to build kingdoms. He literally empowers them, teaches them, shows them how to build kingdoms because Adam and Eve handed over the keys to building kingdoms. to Satan. Now, here's what's fascinating. God knew this from the very beginning. Did you ever notice that whenever God got ready to deliver his people from bondage, from slavery, which is Satan's kingdom, whenever God got ready to deliver his children from bondage or from servitude or from oppression, he always took the person who was going to lead them out. He took them out of their protected religious environment. And he put them in the palace with the king so they could learn kingdom principles. He took Joseph, who was his father's favorite son, out of, he ordained that Joseph be taken. God didn't do it himself, but he ordained that Joseph be taken. And where did he go? He went down into the pit. Then he went down into Potiphar's house. Then he went down into the prison. Then he got elevated to where? Into the palace. So Joseph could learn kingdom principles and bless God's people. He did the same thing with Moses. He did the same thing with Ezra. He did the same thing with Nehemiah. He did the same thing with Esther. Do you realize that even King David, even King David, before he rose to sit on the throne of Israel, he went down to the land of the Philistines and he served the king of the Philistines for years before God took Saul out and put David on the throne. Say what? Yes, what I'm telling you is wealth is a good idea because wealth is a God idea and the primary purpose for being in business in the basic five is wealth producing profit. Now I know I took a long time on that, but I believe that for a lot of people, listening to me in order for you to break free you got to know if if if Satan I want you to wrap your mind around this if Satan used what God said to deceive Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Now the serpent was more subtle than the beast of the field, which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, have God said. The first thing Satan ever talked to a person about was the word of God. And he twisted what God said. If he used what God said and twisted it to tempt Adam and Eve, and he used what God said and twisted it to tempt Christ himself. Because he said, it is written, he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, and in their arms they shall bear thee up. So, if Satan's going to use the word of God to tempt Adam and Eve, and Satan's going to use the word of God to tempt Christ, don't make the mistake of thinking that Satan's not going to twist the word of God to tempt you to believe something. that God never said. So my advice is don't attend Satan's Bible studies. Okay. So understand principle number one in the basic five is, principle number one in the basic five is the primary purpose for being in business is wealth-producing profits. Number two, number two is there are two types of businesses. Two types of business. What are they? There's a business that sells a service and a business that sells a product. If you desire to create wealth, one of the things you have to do you have to make sure you have a business that sells a product. Now, that doesn't mean you can't have a business that sells a service. If you have a business that sells a service, figure out what part of that business you can productize. What does that mean? So Taco Bell, right, serves food. That's a service. They like, people come in, they buy food, and you make, they make people's food, people pay for the food, right? But guess what else Taco Bell does? Taco Bell has their taco sauce. as a product that they sell in publics. So they're making money even when somebody's not buying Taco Bell tacos. See, what's your point? They took a part of their business and productized it. One of the things that you're going to want to do if you desire to create wealth for your family is you're going to have to look at your business and a service-based business and figure out what part of it you can productize. So I have a service-based business. I have a consulting business. I do consulting. I do coaching. That's a service, right? But I figured out ways to productize part of my coaching, productize part of my consulting. I productize part of my coaching and my consulting in writing books, in creating home study courses, in creating masterminds. So I productize part of my business while I still provide the service part of my business. I'll be talking to one of my coaching clients today. That'll be a service, right? But I productize a large part of my business. How can I take part of my business and turn it into a product, okay? Why is it so important that I start have a product based business? Because when I have when I have a service based business only, that service requires time to fulfill. Right. And if it requires time to fulfill because I have a limited amount of time, that means I have a limited amount of wealth that I can create. But when I have a product based business, it takes no more time to create to sell a thousand. Like, I can sell one or 10,000 units of a product in the same amount of time. Same time. In fact, I have a book called From the Trash Man to the Cash Man, How Anyone Can Get Rich Starting from Anywhere, because I used to be a trash man. Well, we sold over 150,000 copies of that book, but guess what? 100,000 of those 150,000 copies we sold to one customer. Hmm. So I figured out a way to productize. part of my service. Does that make sense? And so that's what you've got to do. There are two types of businesses. Business that sells a service, business that sells a product. I want to figure out how I can productize part of that business, sell that product, and it multiplies my wealth while dividing my workload. Okay. So next one is, and I'm going to see if I can find me another black marker or another dark marker in here. And it doesn't look like. I do have one more, hopefully this one's not dried out. Okay, so what happens is, number three, is there are three functions of business. Now, I guess y'all can tell, my black markers get a lot of use. So there are three functions of business. What are those three functions? Number one is innovation. That's the number one function of business. Number two is marketing and sales a lot of people say sales and marketing but it's actually marketing and sales because marketing happens before sales thank you sir and so so marketing and sales okay and then number three the number three function of business is money management and so When I understand that these are the three functions of business, so innovation, what's innovation? Innovation is when I create or produce or develop or partner on a product or service that the marketplace is screaming for, thirsting for, craving, right? That's innovation, right? So I create some kind of deliverable. What's marketing? Marketing is the art and science of discovering and developing in other people a desire for more and more of your product, your service, or your opportunity. So that's what marketing is. And the art, it's kind of, you got to feel it, right? But it's also science. Some of the stuff, it has to be measurable, repeatable, and predictable, right? So it's the art and science of discovering and developing in other people a desire for more and more of your product, your service, your opportunity. So marketing doesn't start in here. It doesn't start... In the marketer, marketing starts in the marketplace. I got to go out there and find out what they're looking for, right? And then, the last one is money management. Money management means you manage your money in such a way that the outgo does not exceed the income, so the upkeep does not become the downfall. Now, if I were to ask an audience of this size, like, which one's the most important? Innovation, marketing, or money management? Probably a third of the people would say innovation, a third of the people would say marketing, and a third of the people would say money management. But I submit to you the most important function of business... is marketing and sales. Why? Because if you are great and you're great at innovating and you invent the greatest product ever known to man, if you're not good at marketing and sales and telling the story, it doesn't matter. Nobody's ever going to buy it. If you're not good at marketing and sales, you're not going to have any money to manage. Marketing and sales are the primary functions of business. Okay, got it. So we're talking about the basic five, right? So we talked about number one, the primary purpose of starting a business and building a business. is wealth producing profits. Number two, there are two types of businesses. A business sells a product, a business sells a service. We want to focus on productizing at least part of our business. There are three functions of business, innovation, marketing, and money management. Okay. Number four, there are four ways to grow a business. There are only four. Every business growth strategy falls into these four things. The better you are at these four things, the better your business can grow. And I don't know, Raj, if you can help me with this or not. I am really hot. I don't know if they can cool it off in here or not, but I'm cooking. And yes, I know it's my fault. It's all good. So, four ways to grow a business. Now, I'm going to show you something really cool. And I'm going to show you based on the type of business I have, the type of business Dave Kaufman has, because those are businesses that make perfect sense to me, but it doesn't matter whether it's my business or Dave's business or any other business. There are four ways you can grow your business and it doesn't matter what your business is if you apply these four methodologies. So I like to share with people, there are four things you can do to take your business, like you can take your business from $10,000 a month in revenue, to $128,000 a month in revenue in four moves. Now, if that's true, is that pretty cool? That's, if that's true, that's one of the coolest things ever. Like, literally, you're going to take your business from $10,000 a month in revenue to $128,000 a month in revenue in four moves. Now, that sounds good, but would it be helpful if I could prove it? Okay, so I'm going to prove it to you so you know I'm not making stuff up as I go along. Okay, so here we go. What are the four moves? Well, the first move is lead generation. Second move is lead conversion. Third move is customer ascension. Fourth move is customer retention. How cool is that? So those are the four moves. Lead generation, lead conversion, customer ascension, customer retention. That's pretty cool. But what does that mean? That sounds really, really good, doesn't it? Sounds really, really good. But what does it mean? Well, I'm going to show you exactly how we're going to tweak each one of these in a consulting business. You can apply it to your business. I'm going to do it in consulting because that's a business that I can do this. I can take any consultant, coach, author, speaker. speaker trainer and fix these four things and multiply their revenue about 12x. So here we go. Let's say your business is generating 100 leads per month and you're converting 10% of those leads at $1,000 per sale. That means 10%, 100 times 10% is 10, times $1,000 equals $10,000 per month. That's pretty simple, right? So that's step number one. Okay, we're generating 100 leads and... We're converting at 10%, so now we're doing $1,000 a month. So all we really have to do to double this number, this $10,000 number, is let's stop generating 100 leads a month, and let's double that and start generating 200 leads a month. And we can do that by putting out twice as many lead generation mechanisms, or spending twice as much as we're spending right now on ads, or both. But if I double my lead generation, if everything else in my business stays the same, now I'm generating 200 leads a month. right times 10 percent that equals 20 sales at $1,000. I just took my business in one move from $10,000 a month to $20,000 a month. That's pretty cool. Okay. But Myron, you said $128,000 a month. Okay, calm down. So let's take the next number and let's fix this number. And let's stop converting at 10% and let's fix our conversion by improving our sales process. When we improve our sales process, now instead of converting converting 10%, we're going to convert 20%. So now we're getting 200 leads a month times 20% conversion. That equals 40 sales a month at $1,000, which equals $40,000 a month. That's pretty cool. You fixed two things in your business. You took your business from $10,000 a month to $40,000. Literally, you fixed two things, but you got quadruple X. Isn't it interesting that this kind of matches a biblical principle that I studied also? Here's what it says. It says if one will chase 1,000, two will chase 10,000, or two will put 10,000 to flight. See, God's math is always exponential in its growth. I love what Warren Wiersbe said. He said, Any fool can count the number of seeds in an apple, but only God can count the number of apples in a seed. And so we see that you double your lead generation, double your conversion, you quadruple your numbers. So what's the next one? Well, now we're going to add a thing called customer ascension. What is customer ascension? We're going to introduce a high-ticket product, high-value. high ticket product what does that look like here's what it looks like it looks like that first of all understand this the people who are currently buying from you and they're spending their hundred their thousand dollars with you they're buying another solution for another problem they're spending spending $10,000 on that, but they're buying that from somebody else. Why? Because you're unwilling to sell it to them, or you never even thought to sell it to them. So they bought their $1,000 solution from you, but they buy their $10,000 solution from somebody else. So now what you're going to do is you're going to create a $10,000 solution, a high ticket offer, okay? And you're probably thinking, but I don't have a high ticket. All you have to do is think about it. If you think about it long enough, you can discover something your customers are spending 10 times more on than they're spending with you right now, right? So you create a high ticket offer. That high ticket offer is gonna be, you're gonna take 10% of these people. which is, there's 10% of these sales, 10% of your conversions, we're going to add, we're going to convert 10% of those people on your high ticket offer. So 40 sales times 10%, times 10% equals four sales. Four sales at 10,000 a month. Equals another 40,000 a month. This is so cool. I Don't know about you, but I get excited by the way This is exactly how we build our business to the point where we do six Seven and multiple six and multiple seven figures a month in revenue this is exactly Zach Korn. None of this is theory. This is how I live my life. This is how you can live your life. Okay? So $40,000 a month. Now, if you add this $40,000 a month to this $40,000 a month, that gives you... Everywhere I've ever seen, $80,000 a month. But $80,000 a month is not $128,000 a month. What's the last thing we're going to do? Remember the last of the four moves is? Customer retention. Do you know the best customer retention program I've ever seen? It's called continuity. What's continuity? Continuity is where you get people to pay you. They buy something from you once, but they pay you for it every month. Hmm. What's that look like? Looks just like this. These 40 people that are buying from you every month, we're going to add a concept called forced continuity. We're going to give them for free for 30 days, for two weeks, for 60 days, for 90 days, we're going to give them access to our software. or our newsletter or our membership site and we're going to charge them a hundred dollars a month so these 40 people we're going to give them free access to our hundred dollar a month membership site so 40 people times one hundred dollars a month equals four thousand dollars a month times 12 months equals $48,000 a month. You add this $48,000 a month to this $80,000 a month, and guess what it equals? $128,000 a month, and you did four moves. This is how you 12x a business. This is exactly. So remember, we said there are four ways to grow a business. What are they? Lead generation, customer lead conversion. That means I'm convert. Convert means to change. I'm converting them from a lead to a customer. Then we do customer ascension. We do customer retention. We put all of that into our business and boom, all of a sudden our business that was doing 10,000 a month is now doing 128,000 a month. Say what? It gets more better. Number five. And that is in the basic five, in fact I'm going to tell you what number five is in a minute. Number six. Because most people, what they do is they spend so much time working on doing what's not working that well, that they don't take time to think and grow rich. They don't take time to do what? They don't take time to think and grow rich. Have you thought about lately, hmm, what can I do to generate more leads? It's so fascinating to me to say, well, people say, well, you know what? I put out an ad in the Yellow Pages. I have not opened a Yellow Pages, I have not opened a phone book in maybe a decade. So you're buying ads. Well, I bought an ad on the radio. I don't listen to the radio. I mean, I know there are people who listen to the radio. I ain't one of them. Right? People say, well, I put out an ad in the newspaper. I don't read the newspaper. Like you want to get me, your ad better be on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn. That's where your ad needs to be. If you want to attract me to your business. And when you do, you will be glad you did. If you want to, not just me, but your customers, all of your customers, your customers are either on Facebook, LinkedIn, or you can do direct mail. See, here's what I do every day. I go to my mailbox every day. Every day I go to my mailbox, physical mailbox, and take my mail out. Every day. I'll go to my mailbox today and I'll get my mail out. I'll open up my email today and I'll get emails. Maybe there's another avenue for you. Like take time to think and grow rich. So there are five things you can do to increase your authority. Five things. What are they? Number one, write a book. Number two, create a YouTube channel. Number three, create an Instagram profile. Now, some of these may be for you, some of them may not. You don't have to do all of them, but this one you need to do right away. You've got to get these. A book is one of your most important assets. You say, but Myron, you don't understand. I'm a roofer. Great. Write a book on how to have your roof repaired without getting taken advantage of. What to look for when you're hiring a roofer. That's chapter one. What to avoid when you're hiring a roofer. That's chapter two, right? So whatever business you're in, it doesn't matter, okay? So you need an Instagram profile. Four, this is like my new groove, and it's a new, and I know some of you probably don't even know what I mean. Clubhouse is Like that social media platform has generated more business for us like in a shorter period of time than any other social media platform that I've ever been a part of. Okay. I don't have time to go into details of how we did it right now. Like we got some clubhouse hacks that are crazy. And then we're going to, the last one we're going to do is we're going to do podcast. Podcast is the new radio. Clubhouse is like live podcasting. And I'm not going to go into great detail about all these, but here's what's really cool. If you get yourself set up right, you can literally build all of these five things in one move. What? That's right. I can write a book, create a YouTube channel, Instagram, build my Instagram profile, my clubhouse following, and my podcast listeners all simultaneously by doing one thing. And what is that? That is by having a video podcast that I simulcast. In other words, I'm simultaneously casting it on. on Clubhouse, but I'm also recording it for my podcast, and then I use the recordings and I'm broadcasting it live on my YouTube channel and on my Instagram profile, and then I take the audios and have them transcribed and that's how I write my book. Total game changer. Total game changer like from now on even forevermore. So when I get this stuff done, now I've taken the basic five and I've built my business. So what's the next thing I'm going to do? Well, the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to find a business that is really doing well and I'm going to take some of their key... strategies and I'm going to use those strategies in my business. So, when I think about successful businesses, the first business that comes to my mind, the most successful business that comes to my mind when I think about successful businesses is Apple Corporation. Right? I want you to think about this. Apple took over the computer industry, the music industry, the movie industry, the phone industry, and the watch industry. Five different industries and became number one in all of them. And the tablet industry, we'll include that in computers. Like, say what? And they became, I want you to wrap your mind around this, the first... They became, first of all, they became the first trillion dollar valuation company in the world. Then they became the first two trillion dollar market cap valuation in two years. They went from a trillion to two trillion in revenue, I mean in value, in two years. What? So what I'm going to show you right now is how you can take three pages out of Apple's $2 trillion playbook to grow your business. And it'll change your life. Like when I realized... this, when I discover what Apple did, I'm like, oh, look out, look out world, here I come. So there are three pages out of Apple's $2 trillion playbook that you can apply to your business. Now, there are a lot of things Apple does that I can't do. There are a lot of things Apple does that you can't do. There are a lot of things Apple does Dave can't do. But guess what? There are three things all of us can do. By the way, I want you to wrap your mind around this. A million is a thousand thousand. That's a million, right? A billion is a thousand million. That's a billion. A trillion, a what? A trillion is a thousand times a billion. That's a trillion. A thousand times a trillion is a billion. I mean, a thousand times a billion is a trillion. And Apple is worth $2 trillion. That'll make you a little dizzy, won't it? And Apple did something that only Apple has done. And I'm telling you, the three things that made this multiple trillion dollar valuation possible are also things that you can implement in your business. So here they are. Number one. Apple realizes what business they're in. See, you think you're in the business, let's say you're a consultant, you think you're in the business of consulting. Say you're an author, you think you're in the business of writing books. Let's say you're a roofer, you think you're in the business of installing roofs. Let's say you are a... A cleaning company. You think you're in the business of cleaning? No, no. See, Apple realized, Apple knows what business they're in. Now, other people looking at Apple don't know what business they're in. Oh, they say Apple's in there. Apple's in there. They're in the computer business. Apple's in the music business. Oh, Apple's in the movie business. Oh, Apple's in the watch business. Apple's in the phone business. That's the business Apple's in. I'm going to tell you what business Apple's in. Apple is in the business of acquiring customers. Say what? Let me ask you a question. Have you ever watched the TV show Shark Tank? One of the questions, the first question I almost always ask is, what are your sales? Right? So they ask, what are your sales? Next question they ask is this, how much does it cost you to acquire a customer? The average business owner has no earthly idea. How much does it cost you to acquire a customer? If it costs you a dollar to acquire your customer, and the customer's worth $2, well, then that's good. If it costs you a dollar to acquire a customer, and the customer makes you $10, that's better. If it costs you a dollar to acquire a customer, and the customer makes you $100, that's way better, right? So how much does it cost you to acquire a customer? Well, here's the thing. What you should really be focused on figuring out in your business... is how can you get paid to acquire a customer? That's what we call liquidating your customer acquisition. You want to have what we call, I don't know if you've ever seen this term before, that's what we call SLOs. What's an SLO? A self-liquidating offer. I find it fascinating that most people hate to sell. I mean, I'm glad most people hate to sell. But most people hate to sell. Now, I don't hate to sell. I love to sell. I love selling. Because I understand what selling is, and I understand what selling is not. Selling is not talking people into buying something they don't want, don't need, and can't afford. not selling. And I understand that most people hate to sell, and there's only one alternative to selling, and that's buying. You don't get paid for buying. You only get paid for selling. So I figured if 95% of the people... hate to sell and 5% of us love to sell, that means we will never run out of people to sell to. That's pretty exciting. So I am in the business of acquiring customers because most people don't like to sell, which means most people only like to buy. That's exciting to me. Most people only like to buy. So self-liquidating offers means when I know how much it costs me to acquire a customer, I know how much I can spend to acquire that customer. So the first thing I want to find out, does it cost me to acquire a customer? Second thing I want to find out is what is the LTV? Like, what is the lifetime value of that customer? So if it costs me $5 to acquire a customer and the lifetime value of a customer is $100, I am in the catbird seat, right? So Apple is in the business of acquiring customers. If you want to fix your business, if your business is struggling right now, it's because you don't have your customer acquisition systems down. Your customer acquisition systems are not tight. Your lead generation and your lead... lead conversion is not like, it's not really, really great. Apple's in the business of acquiring customers. That's first. Number two, Apple is in the business of awing their customers. I mean, Apple makes their customers say, wow. And then you know what happens after they say wow? They say it backwards. They say wow, right? So Apple is in the business of acquiring customers, but then they're in the business of awing their customers. Let me ask you a question. Are you really hyper-focused on acquiring customers? acquiring new customers, but also when you acquire them, are you in the practice of knocking their socks off, of blowing their doors off, of making them dizzy with how you deliver? on your promise to them, Apple's in the business of acquiring customers. After they acquire the customers, they wow the customers. His was really interesting. You know, Apple is so good at what they do, when they sell something to a person, that person keeps the packaging. I bought in 2006, I bought a Mac Pro computer. It was about $8,000 with all the bells and whistles, 32-inch monitor, fastest processing CPU, extra RAM, blah, blah, blah, $8,000 computer. That computer now can no longer be upgraded. It's not possible to upgrade it. I'd have to take it into Apple and they'd have to replace the motherboard. It's just not worth it. I'm better off buying a new computer. You say, why are you telling me that? Well, I bought this computer in 2006. It's still sits in my kitchen. I can watch videos on it. Can't get it on the internet. I can watch videos on it that are on the hard drive. That's about all I can do with it. I can do a spreadsheet or a Word document, but that's about all I can do with it. But I still have the computer. It's in my kitchen. I don't know. Maybe my granddaughter will want to watch a cartoon or something. I don't know. But it's in my kitchen, and that's not the amazing part. You ready? You ready for the amazing part? I still have all of the boxes that came in. I have the box the computer came in. I have the box the monitor came in. I mean, ginormous boxes. Who does that? Why? Well, just in case, if I move, I want to be able to. No. I have it because their packaging is awesome. Like, I was telling this story in front of my daughter one time. She said, I have every box of every Apple product I've ever bought. Right. Because opening an Apple iPhone box is an experience. It has like this vacuum suction thing that it does. Yeah. It's like Apple, like, they said, every time you think about Apple, I want your socks to be knocked off. So, Apple's in the business of acquiring customers. Apple's in the business of awing those customers. And then lastly, Dave, you're going to love this one. Apple is in the business of assembling those customers every year for virtual and live events. Have you heard of the Apple Developer Conference? Now when Apple assembles their customers, what do they do? They introduce their new products to their old customers. But they introduce their old products to their new customers. And they take all of this, they take this customer acquisition profit engine, and then they broadcast it to the world. They assemble those customers, they introduce their new products to their old customers. So all the, like I've had Apple computers and Apple, my first computer was an Apple IIe, right? I've had Apple computers, I've had iPods. I've had iPhones since the iPhone came out in 2007. Like I had the first one, I had the iPhone 4. Then I had, I mean the iPhone, the iPhone, the iPhone 3, the iPhone 4, the iPhone 5, the iPhone. I didn't upgrade from the 5. I got the 6. I skipped the 7, got the 8. Got the 10, got the 11, like that's a lot of iPhones. Right? And so they introduce every year. And when do you get it? You get it after they assemble us, right? After they assemble us for their Apple Developer Conference. They assemble us and then they introduce their new products to their old customers, but guess what? They have customers who started out with an iPhone. Their first Apple product was an iPhone. They said, hey, guess what? We have these things called iPads. Oh, guess what? what? We have these things called computers. And Apple got so many people to come to the Apple computer by first introducing them to the iPhone. So they introduced their new products to their old customers, their old products. They've been creating Apple computers since the 70s to their new customers. Their first Apple product was an iPhone. But now they have a MacBook Pro. And they have this big generator that generates new customers. And now they've got Apple Pay. And so I've got my Apple Pay hooked up. to my phone and I've got my Apple credit card and I've got all my Apple. So now Apple's in the banking business and they're in the tablet business and they're in the music business. And now I have Apple Music and Apple Music is my Apple Music. I've got the family plan. So I've got $14.95 a month. Apple has hundreds of millions of people paying them $14 from $9.99 a month to $14.99 a month to have access to all the songs we ever want to hear. And I don't even listen to music that much. And my wife, my wife doesn't even use our... family plan. So I'm paying $14.99 a month so I can get any song I want to get to any time I want to get it. And there are literally hundreds of millions of people doing the same thing. That's mind-blowing. What happens to your business when you acquire customers? That's your focus. Number two, you assemble those customers. I mean, number two, you wow those customers. You knock their socks. You make their experience so great. And then you assemble those customers every year or every quarter or... in some cases, every month for virtual and live events. And then you introduce your new products to your old customers, your old products to your new customers, and you have this big engine going on. It changes your business forever. This is a game changer. Well, that's pretty cool. Can I ask you a question? How much... is zero worth. Here's what it would be with. Zero has no value. I say it depends on where you put the zero. What does that mean? I hope I have a couple sheets left because I have one more thing I want to share with you all after this. Yep, I do. So, depends on where you put the zero. What does that mean? You want to make a million dollars a year? Have a $20 product. Sell 50,000 of them. That's a million bucks. That's a million bucks. Now here's what's cool. Learn some really cool math in elementary school. I've always loved math. I loved math and I loved science, but I wasn't crazy about English, wasn't crazy about history. I love the fact that in math there is no I before E except after C, except in the case of lay and way. I didn't have to deal with any of those variables. Two plus two is always going to be four, right? So, One of the lessons I learned in elementary school, if you're multiplying two numbers that end in zero, if you multiply the two numbers, 5 times 2 is 10, and then you count the zeros in the equation, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, you have your answer. That's pretty cool, right? That's a pretty cool math trick. It saves you some time. So, here's the other one I learned. If you're multiplying two numbers that end in zero, then you can take the zero... off the back of this number, put it on the back of that number and the answer stays the same. So if I go from having just a $20 product and I have a $200 product, I do 1 10th of the work and I make the same amount of money. So how much is zero worth? Depends on where you put the zero. So if I got a $200 product, I sell 5,000 of them, I make the same amount of money. Well, when I found that out, I hired a minister, I hired an attorney, and I hired a scientist because I wanted to find out if there were any spiritual laws, any municipal laws, or any scientific laws against moving zeros. They said, no, you can move as many as you want to. I said, I'm going to move another one. So when you have a $2,000 product, you sell 500 of them, you make the same million dollars. Well, guess what? If you have a $2,000 product, 500 is only 10 a week. 10 a week is only two a day, five days a week. You can have weekends off and still make a million dollars a year. That's pretty mind-blowing. But guess what? What if we move another one? We have a $20,000 product. Now we only have to sell 50 of them to make the same million dollars. What if we have a $200,000 product? We only have to sell five to make the same million dollars. This is how you multiply your wealth. You create increasingly more value. valuable solutions for your marketplace. You offer those solutions and you let the people who will take advantage of them, take advantage of them. Do you realize that? Okay. So I mean, I've got a couple of expensive cars, not crazy. Well, one of them is crazy expensive. So I've I've got, like, I drive a Mercedes. Not crazy expensive. It's probably brand new, $70,000. Here's what I'm going to tell you. Nobody needs a $70,000 car, period. There's not a human being on earth that needs a $70,000 car. A $70,000 car doesn't ride, like, what would that be? Three times better than a $23,000 car. It doesn't ride three times better. The air conditioners are not three times as cold. The speed armor doesn't have three times the speed. Right? It doesn't have three times as many tires. or three times as many engines or three times as many seats. Hmm, that's interesting. I also drive a Bentley Continental GT, right? My Bentley is like a $270,000 car, okay? So nobody needs a $270,000 car. Nobody needs a $270,000 car, nobody, okay? So say, but why do you buy? Well, because here's what's really interesting to me. People will buy those things because they want, they desire the value that is the perceived value, not the intrinsic value. value, right? And see, what you've got to figure out how to do, you've got to figure out how to create value that the marketplace values as perceived value over intrinsic value. You can't make your product 10 times as intrinsically valuable, but you can make it 10 times as perceived value. So for instance, like I'm going to go eat when I'm done. I'm going to go to first watch and I'm going to get my Myron salad. They have a salad that's literally, everybody in the restaurant knows the works in the restaurant. It's the Myron salad. Why? Because it's not on the menu, but it's what I know. They know what I want, right? So the Myron salad. If I go eat by myself, which I'll probably do today, then I'm going to give the server a $10 tip. If I take somebody with me, if me and one other person go, I'm going to give them a $20 tip. If I take three people with me, I'm going to give them a $40 tip. I'm going to give them a $10 tip for every person that's with me. And they know it. If they give me good service, they're going to get taken very well taken care of. Okay. Now, why am I taking? telling you that? Well, because it's not about the food's not worth $10 more because they know, but intrinsically, but to me, because it saves me time, saves me a whole lot of conversation, it saves me aggravation. And I don't have to think about it. To me, it's worth $10 more. That salad is worth $10 more because they know what I want and they are happy to bring it to me as opposed to me going home and I can go home and make it a whole lot cheaper than $33, right? But it doesn't matter. because the perceived value for me is I get to save time and eliminate hassle. Those are the things that are valuable to me. Are y'all picking up what I'm putting down? Okay, so have you ever heard of a car called the Maybach? Okay, who makes the Maybach? That's right, Mercedes. Mercedes makes the Maybach. Now, here's the interesting thing. A Maybach, a Maybach 64 is, depending on what you get in it, we're going to say $400,000 to $500,000. Why did Maybach, why did Mercedes start making a $400,000 or $500,000 car? Because they got tired of sending their best customers To Rolls Royce and Bentley. They had customers that wanted a better, they didn't want just a $150,000 car. They didn't want just a $170,000 car. They wanted to have a car that rivaled Rolls Royce, but they loved Mercedes. So what'd they do? They invented the Maybach. Okay, you get it. So what I'm here to tell you is you got to figure out how you can create a premium experience for your customers. Now, I know what some of you are probably wondering. I'm going to tell you why, too. Some of you are probably wondering, this guy, this guy was everywhere, man. He started out, I thought I was in Sunday school. Then he started giving me all these business principles. I'm like, ah, ah, ah. Here's why I teach the way I teach. And I'm going to end with this. There are four levels of. of learning and so therefore there have to be four levels of teaching. So if you understand that there are four levels of learning. The lowest level of learning anything is tactical, tactics. Most teachers who teach anything teach tactics. Tactics are what to do. What do I do? Tactics are what? What do I do? Right? So if I'm teaching you what to do, I'm teaching you tactics. Like that's the, by the way, most people who are coaches don't realize this. When somebody hires you as a coach, Dave, and I know you probably realize this, but when somebody hires you as a coach, they hire me as a coach, what they're really doing is they think, what they think they want is they want us to teach them what to do to produce the result. That's what they think they want, right? But if we teach them what to do and that's all we teach them, they probably won't do it. Right? Which brings me to the next level, which is strategy. What is strategy? Strategy is the when and the why to do it. So if I teach you what and then I teach you when and why, now you're going to be better off than you are if I only teach you what. By the way, like most teachers stay down here. There are a handful of teachers that teach tactics and strategies. There are very few who ever go any higher than that. Why do I teach based on biblical principles? Because the Bible gives us actually the principles. And the principles are the laws that govern why the strategies and tactics work. The principles are the laws. Hmm, that's interesting. And I like to call principles God's automation. What does that mean? Principles are God's automation. So he created the law of gravity, right? So when I drop this pen, when I drop this pen, if I drop this pen ten times, it doesn't fall down nine times and just hang around in the air the tenth time. No, it falls ten times. So laws, principles, give me the ability to predict outcomes before I do the inputs. I can predict the output before I do the input, before I create the input. So, so... Because of principles, and all principles always work the same for everybody, principles don't care how old you are, they don't care how young you are, they don't care if you're a man or a woman, they don't care if you're black, white, Hispanic, none of that. Principles don't care. All principles always work the same for everybody. Why? They're laws. They're laws that govern the universe. Because God wove the laws, the principles, into the fabric of the universe. It's interesting to me that a lot of people want to give the attributes of God to the universe. But the universe is not God. In fact, I am more powerful. I am more significant than the universe. Why? Because the universe is creation. God created three things in creation. He created creation. He created creation, the sun, the moon, the stars, the planets, the grass, the water, the trees. That's the universe, right? God created the universe. God created creatures, the dogs, the cats, the alligators, etc. Those are creatures. And then God created creators. That's human beings. So as a creator, I am higher than creation, and I am higher than creatures. That's why it says, What is man that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man that thou visitest him, for thou madest him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over every creeping thing that moveth upon the earth. So God created us to rule over creation and creatures. Y'all are with me. Anyway, principles. So I get to apply principles. I get to understand principles. I get to build my business according to principles or these laws. And when I'm teaching, I get to teach principles. And if I teach principles to my students, my students are going to have better results than somebody who just teaches their students tactics and strategies. Now, the ultimate, the ultimate in learning is when you teach essence. What is essence? Essence is the character. The nature and the intention of God. That's so good. People say, why do you always teach the Bible when you're teaching business? Because now I'm pointing you to my source so you can know, you can learn these things with or without me being there. I am not essential to your success. But God and his Principles are essential to your success. And the essence of any lesson is the character. What's the character of God? The character of God is that he is holy. What does holy mean? Holy means separate. What does separate mean? It means he's the one and only. Why is that significant? Because when you understand he made you to be holy, he made you to be the one and only you, and when you recognize that you are the one and only you, it gives you the ability to become the best of the best, you can forget about the rest, in your industry. See, I have no competition. There's nobody, there's, like, Dave and I can collaborate. Why? Because Dave doesn't have competition and I don't have competition. I have no competition. Other people write books, but they don't write the kind of books I write. Other people teach people how to do business. They don't teach them how to do business the way I teach them how to do business. I have no competition. Why? Because I stay in my lane. I teach Bible success principles. Who else does that? Well, I can think of one other person who does that, but they do it from a totally different perspective than I do, so there's still only one of me. Here's what happened with Solomon. Have you ever felt unqualified or underqualified to do the thing you were created to do? If you have, congratulations. That's your qualification. I'm... I still got time. Okay. So that's your qualification. The fact that you feel unqualified is your qualification. What does that mean? Well, God came to Solomon and said, Hey Solomon, wake up. I got something for you. Huh? Huh? Huh? What? I got something for you. I'm gonna give you anything you want. What would you like? Solomon said, well, you know, you've given me this job to do that's bigger than I am. So if you could just give me the wisdom to do the thing you put me on this earth to do in a way that pleases you and serves the people you put me here to serve, that's the best thing I can think to ask for. God said, because you asked this thing, and you didn't ask for yourself great riches, and you didn't ask for yourself a long life, and you didn't ask for yourself the life of your enemies, I'm going to give you what you asked for, but I'm also going to give you... what you didn't ask for. And that is, I'm going to give you, I'm going to make, give you great wealth so that nobody, none of the kings before you will be like you, none of the kings after you will be like you. I'm going to make you the best of the best so you can forget about the rest. God said, I'm going to make you holy. What does holy mean? It means you're going to be one of a kind. just like God. But the character of God is that he's holy. The nature of God, the nature of God is that he is truth, which is different than being true. The nature of God is that he is truth. What does that mean? That means he cannot lie. God cannot, not does not, God refers to himself as the God who cannot lie, not the God who does not lie. Say, why is that important? That means when I have one of his laws, his principles, I can count on it 100% of the time because I can trust, I can put my faith in the principles because the one who created the principles is faithful. So good. The Hebrew word for truth is the word amet. Aleph, mem, tav. Every letter in the Hebrew Aleph be, in fact, I'm going to change. Can you give me that other flip chart, Raz? I thought I was done, but I, like, you guys, y'all deserve to learn this. You really do deserve to learn this. Thank you, sir. Thank you. Thank you, bro. Thank you. So, the Hebrew word for the word truth is the word aleph mem. Now, every letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and I gotta give you a little quick synopsis here, and I promise I'm gonna get done on time, but if you understand that every letter in the Hebrew alphabet has significance, it has a meaning. It's phonetic, it's symbolic, it's phonetic like English, it's symbolic like a lot of the Eastern languages, but it's also constructive like the chemical language. In other words, if I write this, H2O on the board, you know I'm talking about what? I'm talking about water. How do you know I'm talking about water? I gave you the components of water, so you know. you knew it was water. Well guess what? Every time you spell a Hebrew word, you're not just spelling the word, you're also building the word. So the word for truth is the word Amet, and it's spelled with the first letter is Aleph. This letter represents God, and it's the root of the word Elohim, and Elohim is God. So this is the root of Elohim. So this letter represents God. It's the first letter of the Hebrew Aleph Be. This letter is the middle letter. of the Hebrew Aleph Beit, it's mem, it represents the might of the ocean. So this is mighty, and this letter is the last letter of the Hebrew Aleph Beit, and it represents a cross or a covenant. Now, when you understand that the word for truth is God's mighty covenant, now you understand why God cannot lie. Because a covenant is not like a contract. A covenant, a contract is an agreement between two or more individuals based upon a mutual distrust. A contract is an agreement, a covenant is an agreement between two or more individuals based upon a mutual love and trust. And when two people got to enter into covenant, what they would do, they'd bring an animal, they'd kill the animal. I'm going to talk about it really fast. They'd bring an animal, they'd each bring an animal, they'd kill the animal, they'd walk in a circle around the animal, they'd look at the animal while they're walking around it, they'd take a knife in their left hand, cut their right hand, they'd put their hands together, bind it with a rope, they would exchange covenant vows. I promise to do everything in my power to give all of my resources, all of my time, my life, my wealth, and everything I have, if necessary, to protect you and yours. And if I don't do what I... telling you I'm going to do may what happened to this hand will happen to me. The other person says the same thing. And they also exchange covenant names. If Dave and I were going into covenant with each other, my name would become Myron David Golden. His name would become David Myron Kaufman. And so we would exchange covenant names. And now we've sworn on our own existence to keep our word to each other. That's why God is the God who cannot lie. The nature of God is that he, the character of God is that he is holy. The nature of God is that he is true. Why? Because this letter represents God. This is might. This is covenant. So God's mighty covenant is truth. And what's amazing is that means if God doesn't keep his word, then he himself has to die. If he dies, everything ceases to exist. Well, when you understand that when you separate God from the truth, these two letters together spell the word met, M-E-T-H. They spell the word met, which literally means death. So when you attempt to separate God from the truth, all you have left is death. We should not be surprised. that because we've eliminated God from our educational system, miseducational system, that there are so many deaths that are caused in the system. We got rid of God in the 60s, and now death is showing up in the 80s and the 90s and the 2000s. But not only that, if God does not keep his word, then he himself has to die. That's so powerful. But not only that, each letter is also a number. This is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. This is the middle number. It also represents the number 40. This is the last letter. It represents the number 400. If you put this together, it's 440 plus 1 equals 441. Well, 4 plus 4 is 8, plus 1 is 9. 9 is the number for truth. I gave you all the other numbers up to 8. Now I'm giving you 9, and we're going to land the plane here in a hot second. 9 is the number for truth. Why is 9 the number of truth? This is why the essence is so important. Why do I tell people about God when I'm teaching them about business? because everything and everyone has to answer to the truth. And Ahmet, truth is God's mighty covenant, and the number nine is the only number that when you multiply it times any number, two-digit number, three-digit number, four-digit number, five-digit number, seven-digit number, when you multiply nine times any number, it always reduces back to nine. In fact... 9 times 1 equals 9. 9 times 2 equals 18. 1 plus 8 equals 9. 9 times 3 equals 27. 2 plus 7 equals 9. 9 times 4 equals 36. 3 plus 6 equals 9. 9, everything in life has to answer to the truth. Hmm, maybe that's why Christ said, If you continue on my words, then are you my disciples and deeds, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Well, watch this. I know this is going, like, this blew my mind. I learned this from Scott Flansburg, okay? He's the human calculator. Dave, how old are you? What's your age? 34. Dave... 45. How old are you? 45. Dave Kaufman is 45, okay? What's 4 plus 5? That's 9. But, you take 9 and subtract it from 45, it equals what? 45 minus 36. Yeah, 36. 36. 3 plus 6 equals 9. When's your birthday, Dave? 8, 26, 75. 8 plus 2 is 10, plus 6 is 16, plus 7 is 25, plus 5 is 30. What's 3 plus 0? 3. Okay, what's 30 minus 3? 27. 27. 2 plus 7 equals 9. It doesn't matter if you do this with a license plate, a speed limit, any number that's over 9, any two-digit number that's over 9, when you reduce it down by adding the digits in the number together until it becomes a two-digit number, when you subtract that two-digit answer from that, it always is good. In fact, if I take 27 and I subtract 9 from that, it equals 18. and one plus eight equals nine. Everything has to answer to the truth. That is why when I am teaching people the truth about business, I do not. Try to keep it a secret that it's God. Oh, I'm afraid somebody will be offended. I don't, I really, that's not my concern. I'm not even trying to get anybody to believe in God. I am just showing you that the closer you get to the truth, the more transformation you can have for... people.
