Sample Size from Histogram

data was collected for a sample of organic snacks the amount of sugar in milligrams in each snack is summarized in the histogram below so looking at the histogram notice along the horizontal axis we have the intervals indicating the amount of sugar and we have the frequency along the vertical axis so the height of each bar indicates how many snacks are in each interval indicating how much sugar is in the snack and we're asked to find the sample size for the data set to determine the sample size we need to sum the frequencies again indicated by the height of each bar for the first interval or first class the frequency is four which is the same for the second interval in the third interval the frequency is nine in the fourth interval the frequency is 14. in the fifth interval the frequency is 10. in the sixth and seventh intervals the frequencies are both three so the sum of these frequencies will tell us the sample size so n the sample size is equal to four plus four plus nine plus 14 plus 10 plus three plus three which is equal to 47. i hope you found this helpful
