this may look like a normal D20 but in fact it does something that I've never seen before the 20 is not directly across from the one but why well it's because that this is part of a set called honest to dice which just began its Kickstarter but is attempting to make the most honest dice that is physically or mathematically possible few ways that they're trying to do this first they laser marked numbers instead of Engraving them so their balance is not affected by the numbering second they are Precision Machin from either aluminum or titanium and third is the numbering the layout of the d20s has been mathematically balanced so that every half sum that is the sum of all numbers on any given half of the D20 to be as close to every other half sum on the D20 as possible and it also does this with every vertex sum which are groups of five adjacent numbers you can read more about this process and the test roles that support it on the honest dice Kickstarter which is linked in my profile but I also should point out the design of their D4 which is meant to be easier to pick up to roll and will not impale your foot if you step on it let me know what you think about this in the comments
