Overview
This lecture provides academic orientation for PPG (Teacher Professional Education) students at Makassar State University, covering administrative processes, learning systems, assessment components, and professional standards required to become certified professional teachers.
Introduction & Welcome
- Participants are officially welcomed as PPG students at Makassar State University for the 2025 second cohort.
- Orientation aims to inform students of expectations, administrative requirements, and the importance of integrity in the certification process.
Administrative Processes & Self-Reporting
- Students must confirm willingness to participate in SIM PKB and register through the CIAPG UNM system.
- Accurate personal data (name, birth details, motherβs name) must match the teaching certificate and population registry.
- Student identification numbers and group assignments are allocated after registration and file verification.
- Each study field has a dedicated WhatsApp group and admin for communication and support.
Learning Orientation & Curriculum
- PPG learning is now conducted via the online GTK Room platform (formerly PMM).
- The main modules are: Deep Learning and Assessment, Social-Emotional Learning, and Philosophy of Education & Values.
- Most students need to complete only 9 credits via assignments and independent learning, with a minimum duration of 18 days and a maximum of 43 days.
- Progression through modules is controlled by time locks; modules cannot be completed faster than assigned durations.
Module Completion & Assessment
- Learning tasks include: understanding exercises, reflective stories, post-tests, and learning journals (at least 300 words, original work).
- Submission of all modules, post-tests, and validated journals is required before UKPPG (Teacher Competency Test) registration becomes available.
- Plagiarism or duplication in journals results in validation failure or administrative consequences.
UKPPG & Certification
- The UKPPG consists of a computer-based written test (SJT and PCK questions) and a performance test (lesson plan and teaching video).
- The written test has 65 multiple-choice questions and a case-based essay focused on four possible contexts: media, LKPD, learning strategy, or assessment.
- Passing both written and performance tests is necessary for graduation and certification.
Integrity & Conduct
- Students are expected to uphold integrity and avoid any form of cheating during self-learning and examinations.
- Violations result in disqualification from certification and future program participation.
