Thus far have we come on an eventful 40 days of our 2025 and the grace of God abounds to carry us through to its end. Amen. A joyous welcome to you worshiping in person here in the auditorium in Acra Ghana. You're welcome and a joyous welcome to you as well worshiping as a virtual worshipper right behind that camera lens. We are grateful that you're joining us for this service. And for both of us here in person and virtual, here's to a truly enriching service already underway. Amen. And amen. Church, it is now time to give to the Lord. At Christ Temple, we give two offerings to the Lord in our Sunday morning worship services. We give the first offering and we shall do so shortly. And later we do the project offering that is set apart for the building of the Lord's sanctuary. And please let's give bountifully today as we are exhorted to do so now. Church, our lives on earth and eternity pivots on our choices and the things we do while we are alive. It's perfect reason to choose thoughtfully and act wisely constantly because there are implications both good and bad depending on whether we do good or bad. And the list of possible things that we must that must go on record in heaven that we did on earth, giving must be one of them. And the apostle Paul on drawing the minds of the Corinthian believers onto eternal perspectives shares this in his second letter to them. This morning we read 2 Corinthians chapter 5. We read verse 9 and 10. And I read, "Therefore, we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." Amen. Church, we serve a faithful and an impartial God. For all the things we do in this life, he takes full notice. And for the good we do, there is rich promise of reward. So this morning, add to the list of the good things you did here on earth giving. Take this opportunity and do so that someday when you stand before the Lord in judgment, when the records are pulled out, you will be delighted that you gave to the Lord this day. It will be accounted to you and credited as righteousness. May that be your testimony in Jesus' name. Amen. And amen. We got our churches coming together from the metropolis and what a wonderful end to our revival Saturdays it was. We want to thank God for a massive work of his spirit throughout all these four Saturdays. We're getting close to greater works. We are two weeks away and next uh tomorrow will be exactly two weeks. Uh we will be starting greater works. We're still in our 40 days of power. And I trust that you are fasting and you are praying. And this week we had people coming through to pray throughout from Monday to Friday. If you haven't been able to make it, please make sure that Monday to Friday at 7:00 you are here uh in the tent as we pray and seek the face of the Lord. Well, we have a wonderful guest speaker with us this morning. Uh if you were here yesterday, you heard him preach about when everything is wrong, God makes it right. And uh Dr. Enoch Satima, my dear friend, uh all the way from Botswana is here to minister to us. He's no stranger to this church. Uh if you are new to the church, he'll be a stranger to you. Uh but for those of you who've been around, he's been preaching frequently here for a pretty long time. And uh he is a man uh who brings the word of God with power, with clarity uh and with precision. And I believe that this morning uh he will be a blessing to you. He definitely was a blessing to us yesterday during the uh uh revival Saturdays. Uh Dr. The steamer originally is from Malawi uh but married into Botswana and uh wherever love takes you uh you follow. So I believe through a combination of God's call and love's call uh he ended up uh in Botswana. So uh in practice people see him as from Botswana but uh actually from Malawi but he's ministered in Botswana effectively one of the prime leaders that God has given that nation. Uh he went there established a tremendous Bible school which has influenced so many preachers in southern Africa. His ministry continues to be on a cutting edge the Bible life church and ministries and Bible training uh school and they continue to make waves all over the world. But I am more glad that he's a dear friend of mine and my wife and I treasure our relationship with him and his wife and their children. We're so proud of his life, of his ministry, of of the fact that he still goes on. When you get to be growing older like we are growing and see people you have known for 40 years and so on still doing the work of the ministry is gladdening to the heart. Amen. And so it's my joy and privilege to welcome my dear friend all the way from southern Africa Dr. Enoch Sitima of Botswana as he comes to minister to us. Let's welcome him well as he comes to minister. Peace and grace be multiplied to this house this morning to everybody. I love you and greet you in the name that is above other name, the name of Jesus. What an honor and a delight once again an opportunity to be back here at Christ Temple with my dear brother co- labor in the ministry and his lovely wife. There are many people we know in the world but there are some people are so dear. So he is one of them and let's celebrate together. Um he came to bless us during my 40th anniversary in ministry and he left a word that has remained in my heart very prophetic. Uh so sometimes you get so used to somebody you can miss what they carry but he carry a tremendous grace and he is one of the blessed gift that God has given him and his wife and we thank you sir for your leadership and uh we admire you your intellectual capacity in the kingdom of God inspiring the body of Christ not just in acra Ghana but also around the world you know every time I come here I remember the early days when you used to come here him and I will walk on the street and buy bank bangu on the street and eat now we can't do that I miss it can we do that tomorrow sir we could walk on the street by bank and eat and you know you know it was so nice. Now what have you made out of us now? I miss those days. It was a great time. This church is so dear to us. We learn a lot from this church and we are so blessed and thank you for being part of this church. And I just want to congratulate you also at the same I didn't have a chance yesterday for the journey you took on putting this auditorium into its place. It was a difficult time but God gave you the grace to make it and uh once again congratulations congratulation do congratulation ma we really appreciate for uh for such a journey you have taken I just want to encourage you don't make this church a moving theater uh make it a church amen what I mean by that is theater you choose what you like church you choose what god likes So when you come here, you don't have to choose. You have to choose God every time you're in this house. That's why this this building was built. Amen. And secondly, we must understand the purpose of God. Why God will build a building like this. See, the plans of man are what man thinks. The purpose of God uh is what God thinks. So let's follow with the purpose of God for this building. Amen. And we come and do what God wants us to do. It's being a church and congratulations. God bless Christ Temple. Would you take your Bible with me this morning to the book of Esther? If you can just give me a few minutes so we can read together and then we can take a seat. Wow. Amen. The book of Esther chapter 9 11-4. If we can read it together on the screen there. 1 2 3. Let's go together. Those who were killed in Sushan, the citadel was brought to the king. And the king said to Esther, "The Jews have killed and destroyed five and remain in Sushan and 10 sons of Hmon. What have they done in this rest of the king's positives? Now what is your petition? It shall be granted to you. Or what is your father request? It shall be time." Look at your neighbor and say, "Neighbor, neighbor, what is your father request?" What is your father request? And it shall be done. God bless you. May take your seats. This morning, quickly, I want to speak to you on the subject matter entitled Survival Skill in a Fight. Survival Skill in a Fight. My objective is to get you to a place of gaining knowledge and navigating faith in a fight of faith which we are engaged through prayer. The question was asked at this time Esther were dealing the Esther and the Jews were dealing with a very unfortunate moment of their life that was caused by a man called Hmon. Hmon and you know the story very well and uh Esther was married to the king of Hazarus and at that point now news got to Esther from Moriah the uncle and said listen we are in trouble at this time and because we in trouble you must do something. So Esther says you must understand that it's not right and it's not proper it's not so impossible for me to get to the king because three months haven't been called. So the the uncle said please don't think you'll escape yourself from this. You are part of it. So Esther says I'll go. But he asked them to do one thing. He said I want all of you to fast for me. Everybody say fast for me and you must fast for me. And where all three days and three nights and uh after 3 days and three nights of fasting she goes to the king and the king finds favor with her and she finds favor of the king and the journey began and uh that moment we know the story that Hammon who had planned to destroy the Jews kill them all of them feed the tables turn around and he ended up being killed and hanged on the gallows which he had planned. man to be the gallows for Moriah. Then Esther went to the king and said, "Please, let's have this decree that has been made revoked." And the king agreed and favor was moving and they wrote some documents to revoke the the the decree. After that then they were given power to destroy and to protect themselves, defend themselves and their children whoever comes to try to kill them. Now this is now the time that after they had done the king now got the news that now they have killed so many people in the city in the province of Susan and the figures were mentioned and then he says at this time now king is asking Esther and say Esther please I have heard that you have killed so many of them but what have you done with the rest of my prophecies. What is your petition? And how what is your further request? Say further request. I want to tell somebody today that as we are in this time and season of four days of power, you have come to a prayer moment. Today I want to introduce you to one more prayer that you need to pray. You haven't finished all your prayers. Amen. Tell neighbor you haven't finished your prayer. There is something further that you need to pray. Uh interestingly to all pastors that are here the name of God is not mentioned in the book of Esther. It's the name of the king which represent Christ Jesus our Lord which will present most high God as well. And uh so basically here the king was saying you are not through yet. You have got some kind of prayers that you have requested to me and prayers but what else is that that needs to be answered further than this? I want you to know this brothers and sisters. The fact of life is that we are in a fight. Tell your neighbor you're in a fight. Tell neighbor you say you're in a fight. And no one enjoys the fight. At this time Esther felt that they have done their part and the province they were living in everything was okay and they can settle down. I personally don't like a fight. You don't wake up in the morning and say I want to fight somebody. I don't know about you in Ghana but when I got married the first three years especially when you started ministry we never woke up to fight but we found ourselves on Sunday morning we are fighting. My wife and I were fighting on Sunday morning. Now you're laughing at me. I say oh yeah and and I'm the one who started the fight. I said the fight because she iron on Saturday what I'm wearing on Sunday and then on Sunday morning I change the shirt and then she gets angry and she say listen you're going to iron it yourself and the fight starts even some of you today this morning you fought so why are you looking at me like that and the fight starts I don't like fighting but and you don't wake up in the morning and say I'm going to fight just shows up. We are in a fight. They didn't plan to fight Modi and fight for themselves. The fight shows up to us believers because it's something that has to test our faith. Tell anybody he doesn't fight with his wife now. That was long time ago. Just just in case just in case you think I'm still fighting Sundays. No, I don't. That was 40 36 years ago. Amen. So I I want you to know that Esther had been fighting this journey with his uh these fellow Jews and the fight was moving on. First of all uh Esther had to uh to ask the king and say please change this thing. It must be done. It must be reversed. Now whether you like it or not, prayer is part of our fight. Say after me, prayer is part of our fighting system. Are we together so far? Now the thing is that we must fight for our faith so that our our prayer can succeed and bring fruit or results in our lives. One of the things that we ignore is to fight for our faith. Now 1 Timothy 6:12 say Bible says fight the good fight of faith. We fight everything else but we don't fight faith. The reason why in the in the 70s and in the 80s there was a four faith movement and that movement now it's like is dying down and one of the reason is that people who are in the faith movement never fight for the faith and Jesus Christ said this to Paul to to to Peter and say Peter Satan had planned to sift you but I have prayed for you and my prayer is directly focused that your faith fail not. Which means the greatest fight you need to fight in your life is make sure that you fight for your faith. Because at any point in your life or in my life, we lose our faith. We lose our power in prayer to receive what we're supposed to receive from God. Tell everybody say neighbor. It's a faith fight. Everybody say it's a faith fight. Fight for your faith. And Jesus said this way in Luke chapter 18 when the son of man comes will he find faith. So you can't play around with faith because Bible says whatsoever you ask the father in the name of Jesus he shall give it to you. And Mark 11 says, "And verily verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say to this mountain and doubt not in his heart, but believe those things he say shall have whatever he says." Are we together? Whatever you ask in prayer believing, you shall receive. So I got to fight for this faith because it is a faith that makes me receive. Are you with me so far? And I'm sharing this to tell you right now that there are something you have to ask that you cannot afford not to ask at this time when you are dealing with your 40 days of power. There are three requests that God guarantees answers at any time. The king is asking Esther, Esther, you have literally destroyed and killed others, but now what have you done with the rest of my prophecies? And then he says, what is your petition? What is your request and it shall What is your favor request and it shall be done? Tell him I said neighbor I'm not done yet. Esther thought that she has finished having a victory by making sure that where they live everything is okay and people have been killed. Not only people killed but Hammon has been killed. Not only Hammon has been killed but even Esther asked that even Hammon's sons be killed. And then Esther comes in and says, "I want one more thing. I want Hammond's 10 sons be hanged on the gallows just like their father was." Now it disturbs me because they already dead. The sons have been killed. Why would you ask that? The sons have been killed. Why would you ask that? Because here's the issue. God is not interested in you defeating your current problem but is also interested in you destroying your future problem because most of the time we pray for that which we are facing now they prayed and they asked for Hammond to be destroyed and he was destroyed now but Esther's wisdom says I know that this is not the end of the problem. Child of God, you don't have the current problem, but you also have the future problem. So Esther is asking, he says, I want Hammond's children to be hung. In other words, I want to make sure that my fasting and our prayers do not have the same thing repeating in our future. I challenge you today. Don't focus on today's present. There is there is a father request you need to make. God, I fasted for 40 days. I don't want just that which was there that is current, but I also want that which is coming. So here are the three things that God will will literally has guaranteed an answer without fail. Number one, God guarantees that you ask victories. Everybody say victories. Everybody say victories. Everybody say victories. God. The king says, "Listen, you've had a victory in Shushan, but what have you done to the other provinces?" Which means God want you to have more victories. That means that you can you can ask God for more victories and not just settle at one victory. What have you done with the rest of my provinces? He is saying you are not over until you have more of what you have done in Shushan in other provinces. Which means God is saying to us never settle for the margin. When you start the journey of fight of faith, you must one thing God will and he says if you ask me it shall be done. In other words, the problem that is current, the problem that is the future and the areas, the territories that you have not even conquered, ask me for them now and it shall be done. Tell your neighbor say neighbor don't just pray to the current but you also have to pray for the future because God says ask me for the victories and I it shall be done. So say after me today I will start praying I will start praying for the victory of my current and for the victory of my future. You know what Jesus taught us? Give us our daily bread. But this king is telling us, don't just stay because the devil you finish today will show up tomorrow. Tell everybody say neighbor when I finish what I'm doing in this fasting. I am no longer going to face this. So I am going to challenge you to put yourself in the position of introspecting and asking question. What next can show up that can make me again a victim in life? And you got to be able to pray. Hallelujah. What have you done to the rest of my provinces? Ask, request, it shall be done. So I find a new way of praying. I don't just pray when things are tough. I don't just pray for the current. But I also pray for the problem that can emerge tomorrow. You're too quiet. Because if you just finish this fasting by what you've carried up to this time, the devil is not scared. That's why Esther say, "I want the sons of Hammon to be hung right there straight. I don't want a future problem to be around me." Tell a neighbor, you have a future problem. You don't know what it is, but you have to pray. Every say, "Ask God for the victory." Every say victories. Every say victories. Every say victories. Every say victories. When you ask God for more victories, God wants you to ask more. He wants you to believe more. He wants you to do more. And he wants you to receive more. Can I say it again? God wants you to ask more. He wants you to believe more. He wants you to do more. And he wants you to receive more. So what I'm trying to say this morning is as we are getting closer to finish our season, please there are further request and this is what I'm going to ask you to do this morning and write it down. Ask God the most impossible thing in your life that you would like see God take care of it. Every say impossible thing. Every say impossible thing. Every say impossible thing because the future you don't know could be your impossibility. You must ask God. And God says if you ask anything further what is that is bigger. See Esther did not think that their mindset and her mindset was just me. I just want my shushan my small state. But king was saying I want you to ask something bigger and impossible. That's why I I'm I'm telling you what have you done to the rest of the prophecies? Say after me. This 40 days of fast, 40 days, I am going to to request favor, something bigger, and something impossible. Come on, say after me. Something bigger and something impossible. Something bigger for my family, something bigger for my church, something bigger for my my career, and something bigger in any area of my life. And that which seem impossible. See, Esther did not think it's possible to deal with the other provinces, but the king said, "Ask for the victories and it shall be done." Say after me, it shall be done. Come on, say, "It shall be done." From today I am not stopping on my current problems, current circumstances, current situation, but I'm also going to go beyond this. I'll ask the impossibles. So number two, can I just ask because I got a few moments? You got to ask God. Number one, victory. It was a victories. Number two, anointing. It was anointing. Peter and John has raised a man sitting at a beautiful gate because of at beautiful gate. And then there was an appro for the for the miracle. And they're trying to threaten them not to preach. Are we together? Acts chapter 4 from verses 24 up down up there. 41 something. Yeah. And a Bible says, "And then they threatened them. And then Peter left and joined other disciples and they said when they got together, they prayed. They didn't pray for them to be protected from their threats or escape the threats, but they said they gather together, give us more, oh Lord, give us more boldness and that signs and wonders. In other words, they have seen one sign, but we are asking for more signs and wonders be done in the name of your holy child Jesus. Do you want to say neighbor please? God has guaranteed for me to ask for more. The Bible says, "And they were filled with the Holy Spirit. The anointing came and now they were began to they began to speak the word of God with boldness." Which means God wants you to ask for more, believe for more, do more, and receive more. Then comes Elijah. Elisha with Jo first king. The Bible says he was asked Elisha to ask him and say, "Listen, I want you to put your hand here. Take a bow there and I want to strike." The Bible say the Bible says and he strike three times and then Lasha was angry and he says why have you stopped at three? He said you could have strike this arrow six five or six times. In other words, don't stop at the margin. Do for more. Ask for more. Come on, believe for more and receive more. There are areas in your life, ask like you're a crazy person and tell God, God, the doctors told me 10 years, but I'm asking for 50 years, and God will answer that because you are asking for more victories. This morning I want to ask you in the name of Jesus, please as you close, don't stop at the current. Go further because God wants you to have more. Say after me, ask for more. Ask for more. Do more. Believe for more. and receive for more. That's one of the skill of the faith fight. God bless you. Now tell three people, I don't want your current to disappear. I want also your future to disappear. Therefore, ask for more. Ask for more. Believe for more. Pray for more. Like Elijah prayed seven times. Pray for more. And there is a sound of abundance of rain. Cuz God wants you to have more. Father, I thank you for wonderful people and wonderful presence of you, God. You want us to ask for more. You want us to have more victories. And I pray that God the next few weeks or few days ahead they will not be marginal. They will not have margin. They will have more in Jesus name. God bless you. We are receiving more. We are doing more and ask for the for the present. They have to do double. We have to start asking for the present, the current and the living God for the future and for more. The God of today is the God of tomorrow. The one gives us victory today, gives us victory tomorrow, and he expands and increase us. Let us celebrate the Lord. Amen. And kindly be seated.
