one of the great Mysteries of the Australian bush is the reported sightings of Big Cats panther-looking creatures that seem to never be caught [Music] for over a century big cat sightings have been reported around New South Wales and it's caused quite a debate on whether there's any Merit to the claims panther-like creatures roam our Countryside I know what I saw I've heard the urban myths for decades but I saw it with my own two eyes over the years there's been thousands of reported big cat sightings across the country we've had dozens of stockhill reports that we've investigated we've run our material past the experts from overseas who have adamant that it gives all the appearance of big cat kills [Music] foreign [Music] tell me a story the other day about an army base that they reckon was down in Glen Ellis apparently they had black panthers down there and they were supposed to destroy them when they left apparently they didn't destroy them my neighbors who were in the first twin the second world war he said the Americans let them go because they were told to get rid of them they had the Mad ears match g'day ladies and gentlemen welcome to an undisclosed location we have headed out into the Australian Wilderness because we're hunting for something that is horrifyingly terrifyingly big scary and will probably kill us now we're not going to tell you where we are because we need to keep this location safe in case we do find something we don't want you people particularly you mate yeah you coming out here and trying to hunt something I have heard a lot about this Panther I've these black cats they're spotted all over this country but they're not supposed to be here and it makes me wonder in this dense Bushland is there really something walking around killing animals we've heard stories of farm animals being absolutely mutilated I don't know I'm not sure but I have done other videos where we went out in the Glass House mountains up in the Sunshine Coast looking for the yowie and I tell you what that was terrifying and that was a mythological creature at least we know that Panthers are real animals but are they here in Australia that is what I want to find out today but I'm just a dude I'm just a guy talking to a camera in the middle of the Wilderness I need someone here to help me hunt and who better to help me hunt the best hunter that has ever come out of Australia the great man Adam Greentree where is this beautiful man hello come on Dan okay sit up there um you're a hunter we're not hunting we're not trying to kill him I wouldn't be interested in hunting it I don't want to kill it I am very interested in looking for it now you've been all over the country have you ever seen anything that's a bit I don't know different strange something you couldn't explain um no no I I have seen some strange and wonderful things but I've been able to explain them all okay um there's obviously there is a chance that there could be big cats here in Australia because of the way that they're introduced here um but yeah I've seen some pretty big moggies moggies for the moggies feral cats yeah but how big do feral cats get pretty big it is pretty big it's pretty big but it ain't a panther we want a panther we want something that can actually jump out of a tree in life if we got a panther that would be all time it would but I heard a story um it was about a guy who said he spotted and had a photo and he and the the guy from fishing and gaming or whatever came down fishing and Wildlife came down to his house and said mate if you keep showing people that we're going to have the government come down here and if you kill it they're going to be saying how did you get a panther in Australia you must have brought it in then they're going to go through your records work out how you got this uh this boost all the way over to Australia but you were saying before that in America right now there are like lions living in the wilderness in Texas yes that's real yes that's real but how does line how do lions get about so if you could say we're in Texas right now there could potentially you could potentially run into a line yeah because it's legal to own Lions there but people have engaged them in properly and kept them in properly that they've gotten out over the years there's now a decent enough population of lot lines in the wild that they could be breeding and they're self-managing that's terrifying yes have you spoken to Hunters that may have seen a line or two no I haven't okay you want me to say yes that would help the video um all right let's work out how we're going to find this thing yeah well I think one of the best things is so we can go around look for signs so we'll look for prints we'll look for tree markings you know obviously ideally we see one and uh we also put some trail cameras out so basically it's a motion sensored camera we'll put them in some pretty hot spots so where there's another Trail where animals could be coming past and things like that that they're going past the fine scent and one of them will actually leave a bit of meter to try and attract an animal into if something walks past them they'll take a photo we'll Circle back here over the next couple of weeks we'll collect that data and go from there all right let's lay out some trap cameras let's find some meat put it down did anyone bring any meat they did they did it was me what a thinker ah we'll go out we'll have a look see what we can see this afternoon but also we're going to go out at night these are nocturnal Hunters am I right and saying that so they're going to be out at night if they're going to be anywhere which absolutely terrifies me but it's what we do for the people all right ladies and gentlemen this is Devil's Advocate let's go and find this mythical creature let's go [Music] foreign [Music] so fresh claw marks going up this tree right up here so that's a that's obviously a bigger animal you can see uh koala explored animal but you know that's what we're looking for but like big cats going up the tree you know and so I imagine like they spread their claws out look at them right over this side this is really cool and while not may not be um what you're looking for that is very cool just to see our animals work so here's a theater do you know the story about how these cats like they got to Australia I do like on mascots on the ships and stuff like that let me tell you about it the mascots of my grandparents and father and aunts talked about were always the mountain lions because they were the ones they had first-hand experience with basically they were smuggling them in so of course Superior officers weren't to know about this and the problem with mascots easy enough to bring them into Australia if you were on coming in on on Military craft and you weren't and the Customs wasn't as strictest what it is nowadays the problem is if they were exotic animals they did grow larger so you know how you said that you've never seen Koalas in the wild and there's there is koalas everywhere around here because people aren't walking looking up yeah so there was big cats do you think of big cat's down here or you think of big cats up there look how good these this tree canopy is wow look at the view imagine you as a hunter I definitely think there's a really good chance that tazzy tiger is still alive in Australia even though they've been out no one's seen them there's still a chance there's still a chance because I'll live in here they were they were all over the mainland Now everywhere you know they were in a much bigger number and everything like that and now when you think of places like let's say the Barrington tops for instance the Victorian Highlands places like that like it's there's so much scrub up there that you can't see deadly spot they could easily still be held up somewhere like that I really hope they are when you're hunting something how long do you normally walk like this for or do you find a spot you think something might be around and just sit if I was oh and I wouldn't like I said I would never hunt a camper I'm not interested in one bit um but if I was going to Hunter Panther and be realistic about it I would dedicate years to just hunting with handful okay um well like And subscribe ladies and there was animals here and we're going to come back and check it in a week you find a spot like this this is like high traffic traffic area and you sweep all the old prints flat so and then any animals coming over here for the next week would leave a definite print you know we wouldn't be looking at anything cold it'd all be new stuff there's a fine art to hunting there is a fine art it's not just killing like a lot of you know if you're on the outside that's what it looks like looking in but when you're on the inside killing such a small part of it yeah I think we've definitely come across a big cat Den that's that's the only thing it could be is what we'll put at the start of this video to make it look more like clickbaity all right so that'll be the thing but what I actually think it's a Bigfoot [ __ ] push tree when we were up in the Glass House Mountain you see a tree like this there's actually a few other ones you would say that this is something that a Yowie would do also you know what this is well this was one of the big signs that it is a Yowie around right right here here you see a lot of different trees when they're put up in like sort of almost this sort of triangle sort of situation and breaks in the middle of the tree where there shouldn't be a break so like look at this tree that one snapped off the middle you'll also see bigger trees that have just snapped completely in half and that's what if you're a Yowie guy you say there's a Yowie about so Samba deer have points on their antlers yeah and they put the tree into their points and they twist their antlers it's not like that and satellite come on [ __ ] [Music] try and pull that bit off when I was walking across up in the Northern Territory and I was catching barramundi I was wrapping them up in this because I was wet and I was wrapping the barramundi up in it and then putting it in your backpack and then I'd March off the coast but I still had fish see it's pretty good I just got multiple uses you can also use it as toilet paper it's good for smoking food in no paper old paper box mate beautiful I'll make a Savage foreign [Music] [Music] that's one of the ones that they do on the Alley hunts is they do a tree knock this is how you always communicate and you wait and if someone's around the area yeah I'll give you one back when we were at The Glass House Mountain we did that [Music] with a better stick and something replied to us in the middle of the night it was terrifying yeah so probably like I was saying good food source area this is a little bit old but there's some wallaby droppings there can you stop playing with it mate this is your fifth take open your mouth there's actually a panther hold down here I know it's a panther because I've been to where the pen with Planters play and they have these instead of sheds [Music] [Music] there's a little [ __ ] a lot of [ __ ] up here so Greentree thinks he's found a game trial I'm not 100 convinced but he's a little bit older than me and had a little bit more hunting experience so we'll go with him there's a really heavy animal that's left before Mark in the Rock here solid someone's trying to get up this thing because uh trial on the escarpment [Music] Adam doesn't know what to make of it but I think a deal has come along because there is a lot of deer [ __ ] right here and as Adam said before the deal would have been climbing it's a heavy animal slipped caught its front foot made that indentation in the rock and as you said there's always something to explain what's going on could be a puma could be a puma oh it's so good how you come up with that they know he told me he told me he told me you're a hero he told me [Music] Pooh good that's me first spotted poo ladies and gentlemen I don't know what it is it looks like getting a kid now or what do you reckon that's actually wallaby [ __ ] isn't it yeah it definitely is you should try it so Adam's going to look for a spot to put a trail camera we're going to leave some moot and we're going to check it in a couple of days and then in another week or two but we'll be able to find the results of it at the end of this movie at the end of this video so be able to sit down and go through and really see if we can find something because this Wilderness is so dense there's so much like it's just I know people say that they know they're not out there but there's so many sightings and we're on top of this really big Cliff at the moment in the middle of the wilderness and there's so many trees so much foliage huge canopies like it could be anyway we know koalas are here right and I haven't seen one we know wallabies are here we've seen their [ __ ] haven't seen one deer here within the [ __ ] haven't seen one there's a panther in here I sort of like this spot set up camera truck I reckon this is as good as far as any on that tree at point and back yeah put the camera on that tree there and back this way I'll put some meat down there you can feel the breeze is going all the way down that Valley so it's going to send a smell yeah sand it up and then in the morning it'll come back up right percent should do should spread over here [ __ ] I should be a [ __ ] Hunters [Music] [Music] so we've got some bones you want me to set the bones up I do but I prefer you're not the stand right where I want to set it up and set the [ __ ] out of it we did walk through here but I didn't do a dance hey these are made up of the local butcher some of this seems really good still there's quite a few on that uh those ribs there look at the meat on the dog actually a panther probably would taste pretty good yeah uh I haven't eaten like I've eaten [ __ ] I haven't eaten uh feral cat or a moggy like a house cat but I've eaten cougar like Mountain I've eaten yeah I know you're right you've already talked about that come on sorry we're really going off track here yeah I've eaten mountain lion before in America and it's absolutely delicious white chicken better than chicken better than chicken what's KFC doing yeah ducky fried mountain lion not a lot yeah so these are pretty simple trail camera um they've just got an infrared and a motion sensor on them so if an animal trips that motion sensor it'll take a photo I've already set time date and everything like that she's good to go [Music] 6 30 at the moment Sun's going down what's the best time to sort of get out of the guys let me [ __ ] finish the question what time is the best time to get out if we're going to hunt something we're going to find an animal first thing in the morning okay thanks day bro yeah yeah day breaks nice because you've got time so if you'll find an animal first thing in the morning you can look at it you know sort of patting it out see where it goes and then you can usually see where they go on the lay down for the day so then you've got all day afternoons really good for spotting game as well because they've been laying under a tree all day so they want to get up and start feeding and things like that but the the worst thing about the afternoon is it gets dark so you can't keep following them you know as a as a bow hunter you can't keep following them anyway because we don't shoot in the dark obviously but we've got torches that we're going to go around looking for tonight looking whip I didn't bring my torch you're on your own can we come and look just don't walk through the mood yeah so we sort of walk down through this scrub through here this is this location on the end of the escarpment there and that's just a I just took a photo of that scouting that camera just so we know where it is um this photo put that in the location and then yeah be easy to find them tracking you [ __ ] government official [Music] thank you [Music] that's pretty solid yeah we jumped and it's also been burned [Music] good eating this tree this branch is not even from this tree and yet it's right there [ __ ] Jesus [Music] can't take that kid anyway [Music] all the traditional yowies the ones that carry swords they'll go through cut them trees straight off [Music] so that you're saying that this wasn't done by a human when I'm talking [ __ ] with you as actually the female yellers they use their big hairy [ __ ] to cut those riding up like a big four kids [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] all right it's night time and from everything I know about nocturnal Predators which is very little I assume they hunt at night and what is that noise what better time to try and find a predator than to hunt a predator when they're out hunting look you're [ __ ] up tonight is going to rape you out here and it's probably one of the locals well find out now let's do it in the dark and now it's night time so we're hunting in the dark because it's dark it's time to hunt I'm not done because it's time don't forget the sun's down and when the Sun goes down the hunters come out [Music] foreign [Music] big wallaby shits So Adam was down here a few days ago sort of scope in the area and he did find some interesting footprints on the ground and then you said you saw something dark in the bushes sort of just Scurry away as you were yeah moving through that segment and then I heard something duck off my phone yeah and something black with a big tail foreign a little bit ominous if I'm honest like every movie I've seen with lions lot of cougar videos that sounded like a dude anymore school days here we go she wants to get your grades and [ __ ] up ladies and gentlemen we're gonna give it a couple of maybe a week let's give it this is the most calm and coolest I've ever seen you really you're normally pretty common too you probably should come up with me more you know you just seem real happy I love the bush yeah I'm fire have a ginger beer we'll see if we can find something ladies and gentlemen it has been two months since we left those trail cams up there we're gonna leave them there for a couple of days Green Tree went where'd you go you went around the world he's been doing this he's going to walk about all right white boy Walkabout which I don't know what that means you just disappear disappeared just disappear the aliens got him but the uh trail cam that we left on the uh the dead wallaby picked up some stuff and we picked that up uh good look because I'm a professional I picked it up two days later as I said I would um went and picked that up so it it did pick up a few things as we can see here I'm not sure what uh perhaps triggered that I think the wallaby sort of in this area over here um somewhere over there yeah it is yeah right is that just in there yeah so nothing quite there this is later on we do pick something up now I seem to think that that is clear evidence of a thylacine a Tasmanian tiger you disagree that's a box well we're gonna have to agree to disagree on that one because as you can see the stripes see the stripes there I know it's in black and white but you can see clear striping on the uh see this that's a stripe that's a stripe right there no okay we got a fox it's a fox so how do you hanging yourself as a fox by the point of the head yeah so the black on the ears the point of the head the black on the snout this coloration through its back okay which red fox usually has these dark marks on the front of the legs okay very fair and see how it's like a fur not a hair wrong so you can see all this is like a further not a hair okay uh so we can tell that a fox has been there eating it um which we probably expected yeah the fox wouldn't have killed the wallaby so even again it was too big yeah the world was too big yeah Fox wouldn't kill a wallaby especially like around that area they're too well fed off frogs and native birds and what do you think killed the wallabies probably a wild dog uh website illegals we'll grab a little wallaby as well and they'll they'll actually fly out with it and drop it and that's how they kill it um so you could potentially get hit with a wall of it you could okay now imagine if you died from that yeah like one time I heard a pig squealing like a scream and fly down I was like what and I was looking I was trying to work out where the sound was coming flew over the top of me with this Piglet and then flew deliberately flew it above a big Rocky outcrop and dropped it there so it's like the Falls actually doing all the work and the pigs would have split it open did you go down there fly jokes after that I didn't but you should have all right uh we then go to later on that night again nothing maybe what do you think that is is it 3am in the morning there's definitely something triggering it but the camera just hasn't picked it up so whether it's something going through there quickly or just to the side of it but uh blade cameras are really good they don't go off for no reason the next day 1 30 p.m I see the little bird though oh yeah I do say that yeah yeah so like I said something that's always trigger in it you just gotta have a good look around what it is just gonna have a go a little Willy wagon yeah some down there this one was really interesting this is the last photo of that from that trail cam this is pretty cool big dirty go out yeah look at this look at that bastard that's a [ __ ] dinosaur that is sick that's a great photo so that um yeah so that's it's just sort of trotting in to eat that dead wallaby which is in this area here that was that was pretty cool that we picked that up just for a smell so again he wouldn't have killed the wall of it but as a scavenger he he is a predator but he wouldn't bring down a wallaby but it was the other trail cam that we left up there well you left up here deliberately been lazy you left it there for what two months as you disappeared to New Zealand came back and it didn't pick up as much as we thought because we thought that was on a bit of a um a game Trail right yeah but not so much the only thing we did pick up was some wallabies bouncing through there but we did pick up something else so I'm going to play this video now because Adam forgot to bring the photos that he went up and got to bring here to film so we could look at them I'm sorry I'm working with amateurs all right let's have a look at this ladies and gentlemen it is my Melancholy duty to inform you all that in an unbelievable turn of events Adam Greentree the great Explorer the great survivalist the great hunter lost the SD card out of that trail cam so unfortunately we cannot look at these photos in their entire Clarity but we do have this footage of what Adam filmed on his computer and sent to me and uh we'll just we probably should listen to the audio too so is that a new nickname for me no I've used that one quite a bit behind me down here try it out okay there's the meat and then animal stands in front of the camera like full like assana covers the whole camera so we don't know what that is it could be anything yeah so you can see like usually overnight time it would just flash and you'd see the tree and the bit of the ground there so whatever's triggered it's actually walk straight in front of the camera okay and you can see the meat it's sort of drying out there I think it's been there for two days at this point it's drying out there in the bottom of the middle of the screen and then yeah obviously an animal walks in front of it fully blacks the camera out and I think there might be three photos of it and then next morning all the meat's gone so far I'm not sure what that was it was standing there for quite a while there's the wallabies jumping through that's a great photo wallabies come through and then this [ __ ] handsome devil comes through it actually looks like he's got a giant [ __ ] but here is the question what really happened to the photos did I Stumble onto something that the government didn't want us to know about did they get control of Green Tree tracking you government official is Greentree now a government Shield controlled by the powers that be I'm gonna say absolutely yes absolutely yes and we definitely found the Black Panther well ladies and gentlemen thank you
