Effective Strategies to Reduce Belly Fat

The fastest ways to lose belly fat. Belly fat forms when high levels of insulin causes fat to build up in your liver. This fat then spills over, wrapping itself around your organs and it also deposits just beneath your skin. The key to melting off your belly fat is lowering your insulin levels and making your body more sensitive to this hormone. The first and most important thing to do is to quit eating vegetable oils that are made from seeds like soybean, corn, canola and margarine which are some of the biggest culprits behind belly fat. These oils are highly processed with toxic chemicals and are rich in omega-6 fatty acids. These things trigger insulin resistance leading to fat build-up in your liver and your belly. Seed oils are hidden in many fast foods, takeouts and over 80% of the packaged supermarket meals, so you need to start checking the labels carefully. Instead of eating these inflammatory oils, start cooking your own meals at home using natural fats like extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil and grass-fed butter, as these will support a healthy liver and in reducing belly fat. Number two is a morning drink. Insulin resistance makes it very hard to lose weight because it triggers sugar cravings and it keeps your body in fat storage mode. This is why so many people find it hard to lose weight because they feel hungry and starving all the time. However, this simple morning drink can help your cells accept more energy and nutrients from your food by lowering insulin resistance. and it will only cost you around 25 cents a day. Mix one to two tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar into a glass of water and add one quarter of a teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix this up and drink it every morning on an empty stomach to massively minimize cravings by reducing insulin resistance. This drink also aids fat burning by improving digestion, cleaning out fat from the liver. and helping to control blood sugars. Now, number three is probably the most important, fasting. Every time that you eat food, your pancreas releases insulin, which prevents you from burning body fat. So eating three meals a day actually prevents your body from turning its stored fat into energy. This is why it is so important to reduce the frequency of eating in order to lower insulin and to burn fat. Start eating all of your daily calories in a strict 6 hour window, with only 2 solid healthy meals in that time frame. And then you want to fast, drinking only water for the remaining 18 hours. This much needed rest gives your liver the chance it needs to burn off stored fat, and your body also has the opportunity to begin burning your belly fat, in order to make energy. Which leads me on to number four, which is electrolytes. Another reason that people gain weight and they eat too much is because they feel weak, tired, and they always need a boost. Now, electrolytes are electrically charged minerals, which your cells use to make energy called ATP. But if you don't eat enough minerals in your diet, you'll be more likely to break your fast and reach for a snack. So to overcome this, whenever you are dieting, I recommend also boosting your mineral intake. You can use a high quality electrolyte powder which contains at least 1000mg of potassium citrate and 120mg of magnesium citrate and I'll put a link down below to a good one. Mix one scoop of this into a glass of water and add a tiny pinch of sea salt to boost your electrolyte levels. These minerals give you more energy, help to lower insulin levels, and also help your body to burn fat for fuel. Now, number five is increase protein. Eating more quality protein is one of the most effective ways to lose your belly fat and reduce hunger. Protein boosts your metabolism, helping you to burn more calories even while you're resting. It also keeps you fuller for longer as opposed to carbohydrates, which reduces your cravings and prevents overeating. So start to add high quality protein to your meals, such as grass-fed beef, pasture-raised eggs and wild-caught fish. organic chicken, turkey or lamb, and even some plant-based proteins from pumpkin seeds or hemp seeds. For even faster weight loss results, you can add a scoop of collagen peptides to your morning shake to hit your protein targets. By increasing your protein, you'll begin to stabilize your blood sugars, lower insulin and build more lean muscle, all of which can help to melt off that belly fat. 6. Lower your carbohydrates High-carbohydrates Processed carbohydrates, junk foods, breads, grains and sugars all turn into blood sugar when you eat them. These foods cause a much higher spike in insulin levels which causes fat to build up in your liver, belly and other areas. By reducing your intake of processed carbs each day, your insulin levels will naturally drop and this will speed up the fat burning process. Simply replace junk foods with non-starchy vegetables, meats, fish, eggs and healthy fats. Be sure to watch my video, The Healthiest Foods With No Carbs And No Sugar, for more information on foods. Don't worry, you can still have some processed carbs occasionally, but try to eat them only once or twice per week for more rapid fat burning. 7. Prioritising Your Sleep Did you know that poor sleep raises insulin levels and stops you from burning fat. But when you get deep, quality sleep, your glands release human growth hormone, a very powerful fat burning hormone. To boost this, you need to get at least 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. Try to go to bed a little earlier, sleep in a dark, cool room to increase melatonin which helps to trigger this fat burning hormone. Avoid eating late at night as well as insulin spikes can block and suppress human growth hormone. Improving your sleep actually resets your hormones, lowers insulin and cortisol and allows your body to burn fat more efficiently the following day. When human growth hormone levels are high, you'll wake up feeling refreshed, energized and motivated to keep melting off that belly fat. And now let's talk about a very effective fat burning supplement called berberine. If you'd like to, you can take 500mg of berberine twice per day, 30 minutes before each meal. Berberine is a natural chemical found in golden seal, barberry and other herbs which activates an enzyme called AMPK in your liver cells which tells them to burn off more fat. AMPK is known as the fat burning switch because it helps your body burn fat for energy instead of storing it. Taking berberine can also lower insulin resistance, helping to release fat that's been stored in your liver, belly and other areas as well. It works very similar to those pharmaceutical weight loss drugs but without the side effects as it's natural. So now that you've got all that information on the... 8 fastest ways to lose belly fat, I also wanted to share with you a list of the best fat burning herbs and spices. Firstly, we have green tea which can boost your metabolic rate. Turmeric helps to clean out liver fat and lower inflammation. Cayenne pepper speeds up the metabolism as well. Fenugreek encourages the body to burn fat rather than store it. Ginger improves bile production in the liver and helps to break down stored fat. Rosemary has carnosic acid, which increases fatty acid oxidation. And ginseng lowers cortisol, helps to lower blood sugars, and turns on that fat-burning switch called AMPK. These herbs contain a mixture of phytonutrients that encourage the mitochondrial energy factories in your cells to start making more heat and energy and burning more fat. So try to use a mixture of them in your cooking and your daily routines. Now I want to zoom in on some of the things that may be blocking your fat burning so that you can try to avoid them. Firstly, eating too many calories, especially from sugars, excess carbs, or even too much fat can overload the energy factories in your cells. So your body has to store the extra fuel as fat. High levels of stress hormones can also reduce fat. burning hormones like glucagon and human growth hormone. Alcohol has to be first burned off in your liver before your body can burn off fat. As you age, your mitochondria also make less heat and energy, causing slower fat burning. Not getting regular exercise also puts your body into fat storage mode as insulin levels rise. And certain medications like statins, beta blockers and diabetes drugs can cause insulin resistance and reduce fat burning or fatty acid oxidation. is not just focusing on lowering your calories, but by healing your body first. So you need to take care of yourself by getting a bit more sleep, more exercise, finding ways to relax, and cleaning up your diet. Soon enough, those pounds of belly fat that you've been storing will be melting away.
