[Music] welcome back to the reclaim your health energy weight and Longevity Summit I'm Marcel Pi Summit co-founder along with wisdom for life and your host for this entire event join us now for the next session where we do a deep dive into chronic disease and their root cause cuses and give you actionable solutions for your well-being and your health today we're going to be talking about something a little different we've been talking about nutrition we've been talking about toxicity we've been talking about hormones we've been talking about so many different things and now we're going to be talking a little bit more about the lymphatic system and how the lymphatic system plays into our overall health we don't really talk about that very often we do talk about it when somebody has metastasis the cancer has gone to the lymph system but we really don't talk about what we need to do on a daily basis to stay healthier so that our body can actually detoxify so I'm introducing you to a woman whose name is kayy Kennedy and she's commonly referred to as a lymph Queen which is exactly what we need and she's the brilliant uh mind between the transformative flow formula with 19 years of clinical experience at the true Wellness Center she's dedicated her um helping you break free from Health stagnation which is so important with regards to our body because it's exposed to so many toxins through her expertise in revitalizing fascia enhancing lymphatic flow optimizing oxygen intake improving water quality and igniting Boundless Energy Kelly empowers you to unlock your body's innate healing potential and you can find her sharing valuable insights and wellness tips on her podcast flow with Kelly Kennedy Instagram true Wellness Global or visit the true Wellness center.com so I'm so excited exced to have this conversation because a lot of times when we talk about health we're not talking about what to do we not we talk about detox we talk about foods to eat we talk about the concept but you can be the expert today to show us how to do it and why it's so important so thank you so much for being here today and teaching is one of the most important things I think we can do for ourselves thank you thank you I appreciate so much U being a part of this Marcel because when you're talking about metabolic whether it's chronic k health care or it's an acute thing you've got to understand how the body really works and lymphatics is a huge piece of that and one of the things I always like to start with is to just share that we have three times more lymphatic fluid in our body than we do blood and it yet it's one of the most underrated systems so many people even medical doctors you as a nurse practitioner probably didn't learn a lot about the lymphatic system even me as a body worker who went to Cornell University Premed didn't learn about the lymphatic system until I had to go and search it to figure out why our clients and myself were not resolving our chronic cases and what everybody felt stuck like they could get to a certain point and then it was like I can't detox anymore I can't do anything anymore now I'm just having all these reactions and that's why I want everyone to reframe to start with what are my lymphatics doing and then I worry about the function of my organs or the function of My Blood because it's only going to be showing in the blood or the organs what's happening in lymphatics so it's farther Upstream is what I like to tell people so one of the things that we talk a lot about is when people get cancer it's in the lymph system but that's really the only time we ever talk about the lymphatic system which is really sad because there's so many things that we need to do and especially with some of the speakers we've talked about toxicity we've talked about the body burden now with so many things being thrown at us so help me understand a little bit because one of the things you talk about is this notion about the connection between weight loss resistance between hormones being off between that inflammation connection can you set the stage for how that all works and why that's so important to kind of understand fabulous and great question thank you so I grew up in a house with my father had Hoskins disease he had cancer seven times and I knew the lymph system from that perspective he had lymph nodes removed he had lymph cancer and so when he died at 55 and I was in a severe car accident and told to live in pain for the rest of my life I searched every medical thing you could do and every non-medical thing you could do and when I started to understand terrain medicine which has really um took me on this journey to understand regulation and how the body really works it's it is a whole regulation system like we talk about oh my thyroid is my regulating organ and is my liver regulating and is my pancreas regul ating because that but the whole system is a regulating system it's an organism that's here to Survive and Thrive and that system that controls it is called our autonomic nervous system and that autonomic nervous system is the stage as you so El eloquently put that really is the transmission if you will of our car that helps our body decide what mode is more dominant are we in stress sympathetic you know fight flight or freeze which I would contend the majority of the population is or are we in parasympathetic because that's the first we have to be in a parasympathetic mode to heal that's number one so I have written books it's back there I have educated people about the lymph but what I'm here to say is you can't understand the lymph unless you understand the autonomic nervous system so once you understand the sympathetic parasympathetic and how to engage the the parasympathetic and how to make that the dominant is actually about being present right here right now and then we can start to engage this lymphatic system or as we engage the lymphatic system we'll start to shift into the parasympathetic because the length is our filter it is the thing that is in our body that's going okay what am I taking in and you know we're only about 10% conscious right that 90% of the information that our body is bringing into our quote field of this organism is unconscious like we go to events there's 300 people in the room we kind of magnetize towards the people we need and want to be with at the frequen and then there's other people and that's a feeling in our bodies right and that's a magnetic pull and we are this magnetic pull we are this magnetic being that is energy and that frequency that the body's picking up and sending through the heart is that omic nervous system that's a frequency it's magnified through the liquid part of our body which is our lymphatics which is the water part of our body it's amplifying that frequency and what's in that frequency is information because all of life is is information so the plants I walk by the peanut sandwich that I'm walking by if I have a sensitivity to peanuts when I walk by a a peanut sandwich then my body's going to respond to that peanut sandwich if it has a a a program in it that's going hey I have to respond but what I'm going to tell you is the reason that happens is because of what's already in the lymph system that's clogging the filter that's not allowing you to properly compensate for a natural substance that the body should be able to account for our immune system nurse practitioner Marcel can tell you is designed to deal with bacteria viruses mold and fungus it's actually able to deal with that the reason it can't is because it's full of metals and chemicals scars on the physical body improper food water which water and food should not be in inciting our immune system how it however it is because the water is so toxic and the food is so not natural and man and genetically modified often and sprayed I know I'm a really happy person but this is kind of depressing news and then you've got all the radiation and Wi-Fi so the lymphatics are the filter that are bringing in all this information and then sending signals to the cells and then the cells are receiving that information so if we have a disregulation of our hormones if we have a disregulation of some metabolite in our body we've got to go okay what's causing the organ to behave that way what's causing the hormones to be off is the information they're receiving is improper so they're getting like a a Miss signal and then they're behaving improperly so if we clean as we clean the filters the signals can be clearer and now the body can perform its functions ideally so we've got to unclog the system that a lot of people don't think about lymph unless you say they have cancer or lymphadema but I'm here to tell you I am not a lymph I'm not a lymphadema therapist I'm a lymph expert I'm a expert of the lymph system which is life because the lymph is this again this water part of our body we are more water molecularly than we are anything else and it gets thicker as it gets more clogged like mud instead of water like a river that moves and flows and so my flow book and my flow technique and my flow therapy is about open up that fascia get that lymph to flow now that's the majority of your terrain because the majority of your body is made up of fosa and lymph and as you open up that flow then the oxygen can travel everywhere and get rid of the bacteria and the virus and the fungus and the mold that aren't supposed to be upgraded into pathogenic uh opportunistic bugs and then we can let the water structure and hold all that beautiful information and now the end energy can flow throughout the body at the speed of light and sound because as you and I both know the nervous system the Central and the peripheral nervous systems work on minerals work on neurotransmitters and that works on like a second to M you know millisecond scale but the cells communicate through sound and light because that's all there is in life is sound and light that's the frequency and the fascia and the lymph work at the speed of sound and light if I had to travel as a nervous system of Central and peripheral it take me minutes to get there hours to get there if I could travel at the sound of speed and light I could be there at the blink of an eye that's how fast information can travel through the autonomic nervous system through the fos in the lymph and the lymph is the filter and you're right this is something that we get to take control over once we understand how it works and I want to share with you how it drains how the proper drainage of it is because I feel than and I know this should be like brushing our teeth it's not even a thought this is something we teach our children and we all do as part of our daily selfcare if we just live on this planet in the western society that we live in right now this all changes we stop living in a toxic World perhaps it doesn't have to be a daily routine and if you are chronically ill this must not only be a daily routine this must be sought out clinically you need an expert to help you through this and then you need to spend more than five minutes a couple times a day in all honesty you probably want to do this every few hours because your detox is only as good as your drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage detox drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage drainage detox that's the ratio so when we're talking about let's take about weight loss resistance so people are saying you know I'm doing all the things right I'm you know thinking about now perhaps even taking the weight loss medications nothing's really working for me you know where does lymph you know or plugged up lymph system come into play here one of my great mentors asked a qu uh was asked a question one of our trainings about weight loss in lymphatics lymph is your filter lymph is your ability to let go of the things that you don't need but it's also about circulation it circulates our gases and our fats it has a lot to do for our nutrition as well but if the lymph is stuck if it's not moving if your weight isn't moving your weight any kind of boundary that your body makes is a way to protect you and so I would say to the person that's done all the done all the things and doing all the things what are you willing to let go of emotionally because the lymphatic system is about emotional drainage as much as anything else because because let's not forget we are emotional beings having a physical experience we are more energy and emotion than we are physical so if we're holding on to excess weight we are probably supporting ourselves bound like protecting ourselves in some way or hiding some stored emotions that we're unwilling to face or deal with and I'm here to tell you you cannot get through this life without going through them and the only way to get to the light is to look at the dark it's not about hiding it under the rug it's about facing it so it can be truly dealt with and then and only then is it let go of you know I was just talking about this with one of my teammates yesterday everybody thinks lymph and letting go is like a one-step process oh I take a breath in I exhale if only it was that easy we would not have a a a trillion dollar industry of health care for God's sakes it's not overly complicated it's just foreign to us in the society to start to be in touch with our bodies be in touch with how we feel be in touch with the emotions and the tensions are are trapped in our bodies in these areas and then to be able to feel them Express them so we can release them so we can let go and really be free from the burden of whatever somebody told us in the past that was stuck in our mind about believing that that's who we were whether that was a toxicant because we were living in a moldy house and we just can't get rid of the mold and the thought of the mold and oh my God the mold affected my uterus or whatever the case may be or it's a spiritual attack of some sort whatever level of which your body is receiving that blockade it will show up in the lymph and as we allow this to truly look at it we can let it go and now we're free from that shackle of whatever that was and we can truly live in this flow because the flow isn't about you know oh I played basketball volleyball as a rower like I've experienced flow before I got into healthc care where I I lost track of space and time as an athlete a lot of people in athletics have or artist I hear this a lot from artists I'm not creative in that way but I I watch my husband he's like he's been painting for seven hours oh my God does he have any idea he's been painting for seven hours like it's beautiful right when people can really lose track of space and time that's when you're in the flow but we all need to live in the flow all the time because that is really when the body is regenerating and healing when our own thoughts feelings and desires are not clogging us up from moving for our highest good and in our attuned heart which is sending and receiving more signals than this mind which is out throughout the whole body but we've we've applied it to the brain so I'm going to use the brain as the mind the mind is more than just the brain and and the mind is throughout this whole body but we are we are so much more powerful than this mind we are so Unlimited in our power we are so Limitless and that's only if we let go of things that no longer serve us whether those are physical mental emotional or spiritual and so the lymph system is the framework where we get to do that where we get to be present and allow this stuff to come out of us as we express it and live joyfully happily regardless of what happens I mean I literally dislocated this shoulder and almost broke my elbow six days ago and because I teach and learn flow I did not take a thing I did nothing but fascia lymph oxygen water energy and that energy was love I did coherence healings and biofield tuning on all sorts of things to alleviate this because I trusted that this is what my body needed to go through I didn't I didn't fight it I just leaned into it and was like what's going on and let me tell the grief that has come out of my body that's old old grief coming out of my body as I'm releasing the shoulder from an acute injury from six days ago it's been stored in there that whole time and I asked for my word of the year to be soft soften so the universe provided an opportunity for me to soften because words are vibrations our water takes in that vibration and magnifies that vibration so that we can create that vibration because we are all co-creators of this life and so my body created I changed my word five days before I fell from live it to soften and I was on a conversation with a beautiful woman VA Austin you may know her and may know her work beautiful work about water and water crystallography and I was on a conversation with her about this masculine feminine shift that's happening in the astrology and I was like what do I need to do and she goes the word that comes to me is soften I was like oh my God that's perfect I made it my word and my whole universe showed up my whole water showed up so I could be grateful hear these words grateful that I fell on ice almost broke my elbow and dislocated my shoulder I'm so grateful that it happened because it has allowed me so much opportunity to relief to release to learn to grow to expand so that no matter what happens in our life we can be in that flow State I mean I'll say I had an hour and a half Marcel I'll be honest where there was a there's a little anger a little why did you do this to me I can't believe this happening again oh my God and I got that was the ego and once I let that ego go once again I was like okay there's a greater lesson here how is this what I'm here to serve I am here to serve and I would all you know we also had a conversation and said you know I'm done serving through my physical body right exactly I'll take another lesson next time yeah I'll take another how do people begin to do this so what I hear you saying is generally once to twice a day is a good idea and I know you've got a shoulder that you can't quite use but how do people begin to do this and how long does it take because I think a lot of people are saying I can do this I'll do this every day and it'll be good for me and I'll drink you know we have to talk a little bit more about water but um so what about um the lymp trage how did they do that so let me first of all there's a full complete video for free on my website we can give them the link because I want you to have this full description and the PDF that I highly recommend you print out mark it up you watch the video8 to 10 times and you really make this a part of your routine and then you can be done watching it and also dry brushing if you're dry brushing now please go watch my dry brushing video because the way I teach dry brushing and again it's free is everybody's got the sequence wrong because they're starting at the feet you always start at the ends the lymph system is a pressure valve release system on a physical level let's go back to the physical the body is split up in what are called water sheds when it comes to the top of the so we have lymph vessels lymph fluid and we have lymph nodes every human being has between 600 and a thousand lymph nodes get ready people this is where your uh pen and paper comes to Handy right 20% of your lymph nodes in your neck 50% are in your gut that's about 70% 30% of these other lymph nodes between 600 a thousand are spread throughout your whole body mostly where you bend the end point of the lymph system is right above your clavicle at the B base of your neck the lymph then dumps into the cardiovascular system and once it dumps in the cardiovascular system the body circulates it out through our Mony organs we poop pee Sweat I'll contend bleed and we breathe out more toxins than we do any other place but that's how they get out the lymph does not have its own pump our cardiovascular system is considered to have a pump but the lymph system does not have a pump it only moves when we move so sedentary Lifestyles got to go out the window we got to move more okay so that's number one 25% of your lymph will Jan up here in this right clavical area it's called the right subclavia and that right termin that right termin and termin will drain the right side of my head my right breast and my right arm 75% of my body will drain a my left termin the thoracic termin that one gets drained into by what is known as the CNA kyi so the ceric KY is an empty Sac it's not considered a node we don't know why but poor little thing is just called the CC cicali and it kind of lives between our belly button and our sternum and that drains our entire lower body our ankles our knees our legs our pelvis and our abdomen drain to the cicali the cicali then drains up to the left thoracic duct so let's say somebody has lymphadema or swellen ankles right everybody's gonna want to pump the lymph at the bottom but that is like I live on the east coast so we deal with tolls and big long traffic light Lanes so that would be like trying to take 50 cars in are a line to go through a toll booth and hitting the 50th car and pushing it up through the toll booth mm you take the toll booth boo which is your termin you open the toll booth first you get it open then you start to move the 50 cars first the first car which is the closest is what you move because this pressure gradient system is a vacuum pressure relief so I have a lot of pressure in my lymph system it's backed up it only goes in One Direction so it only gets backed up because it's thick or full right so I'm going to open it up now I've created a a vacuum I've created space now where it drains which we'll talk about how it drains in a second where it is Clogg necks can drain down because there's space there so we go from practitioners will understand this proximal to distal but everybody else teaches dist proximal makes no freaking sense because it you open up an area and then all everything can pour into it so we start up in the neck area here then we drain our chest because the chest will then create an opening so then what's under our armpits can drain so then what's up in our arm can drain down I wish I could do that for you so then that can drain down then once this whole upper body on both sides first my left side then only my right but once my left side of my body from here up drains then and only then will my lower body drain so if I got an ankle issue I must drain up here first get this to open up before my ankle will ever drain so it's super important and what I teach in clinic sure I teach practitioners all day long and there's like 25 to 30 points I teach and the drainage of the fluid not just opening up the lymph nodes but what I want to teach you is how to get to those deeper lymph nodes because all the superficial lymph fluid has to go through a lymph node to be identified by the immune system is this a toxicant is this a pathogen if so do I need to if if it's an Invader what white blood cell do I need to provide to allow the body to address that Invader that's only going to happen at the lymph nodes and those lymph nodes are deep in these areas so what we teach is how to pump these lymph nodes and that pumping is very much like this motion it's not a massage the lymph nodes and vessels lymph nodes the largest one is 25 millimeters tiny okay so you're not pushing on this isn't a big muscle it's a tiny little delicate thing but you don't want to like you can't blow on it either because we live in a very toxic environment it's a little more clogged than that so we got to apply a little pressure we got to meet the body we got to touch our body and we're going to just apply this little pumping like if you were going to go test an avocado or a peach to see if it's the proper um rightness you're you're not going to push your fingers through it you're just going to pump it and you can't pump in the wrong direction but you're just going to start to pump the nodes like five nodes you take a breath in five pumps one two three not fast notice it's slow four five I always start on the left side then I'll do the right you can do both hands at the same time if you're able to lift both hands to that level you're able to do that oh look at this oh my gosh okay so you can do that look at that okay we also have tools you can use like biosonic vibration tools this is a Sonic biosonic vibration tool that we sell that also assist and facilitate so you can just use this if you don't feel confident that you got the right pressure okay so this little $85 tool and I teach a $29 Master Class they teach how to drain your breast and all that but for the majority of people there's literally 10 areas that you spend 2 minutes a day pumping here here here under the armpit CNA inguinal and I'll do the back of the knees and then you come back up and do the termin you should do each area about five pumps if each area takes 10 seconds and there's 10 areas that's less than two minutes you do that you're you get out of bed you do it you're going to brush your teeth you're walking across the room to brush your teeth you can do it you're walking down the stairs you're sitting at a red light you can do it you're in a meeting you can do it you can do it at the airport you can do it in the airplane you can do it all the time I do it constantly and I would highly recommend that when you feel in your body that tension you're sitting in a meeting you're at a family event you're at the store whatever and you feel your body have tension go okay there's something I'm holding on to I'm going to let go I'm going to pump my lymph noes take a breath in through my nose and I'm just gonna pump my lymph nodes and here's what I want to sell if you have sugar regulation issues hormonal regulation issues your nervous system is trying to regulate for burden release the burden and watch the nervous system magically heal it is the only thing in your body that heals nothing outside of you will ever heal there are two blockades to Healing you address those now it's about how do I get how do I engage my system to heal and then trust it to do its job you open up the fascia you pump that lymph and you let it handle it and I turned 50 a few days ago I turned 50 and I'm pretty positive I went through menopause here's how I know I stopped bleeding 140 days ago that is my symptom lack of menstration I'm pretty convinced that means it's menopause maybe maybe not it could come back but yeah you're right come back I don't disagree that but and I could probably do blood work and verify it but here's my point I don't have any symptoms from menopause other than I stop bleeding that's a good regulating system because if you have signs and symptoms of menstration or menopause those are signs of illness because the only symptom we should have that we're bleeding or that we're menting rather is blood coming out and it should be done and then when it's done it's done and they're hot fleshes sore breast Cravings those are all indications that your body is not in regulation ination and in an ideal yep so if people want to hear more my understanding is that you gave them information I certainly did in your introduction and that you have the free option for the flow as well and we should really encourage people to go there and also get the information which is going to be um part of the link below so that they can start doing lymph on it on a regular basis because it is absolutely one of the things that we don't talk about we never do we talk about exercise we talk about your diet we talk about you know oh my goodness it's in your lymph system that's Too Late by then so I'm really hoping that people begin to do this because it's a very simple technique than really help their health overall well thank you so much for the opportunity to share this Marcel because for me this is my life's mission to get people I can tell it's wonderful it's very exciting and I hope you can do it on your kiddos the babies can get this everybody can do this there is no contraindication even though they tell you if you have cancer you can't do it I can't tell you that because I'm not a doctor but what I'm saying is in Europe This is the first line of defense of All Wellness is the lymphatic system and that's where I studied I agree completely so thank you so so much thank you [Music]
