Galatians Zoom January 8

participate as much as you can so we can uh share with one another now um let's see okay so um I want to may have to make a change here there we go okay so uh book of Galatians book Galatians let's look at the uh very uh beginning here let's see if I can get this first slide up here first of all we know that Paul is the author of the book of Galatians and this is one of them that's undisputed there are several uh as those who have studied and uh look at the various commentaries and all these type of things uh notice a lot of the different books have disputed authorship they people want to uh have there's a lot of different opinions a lot of different thoughts on who wrote the books but the book of Galatians is not one of them it's one of those that is uh undisputed that Paul definitely wrote this book he wrote it at about 8055 it was about AD55 somewhere uh they placed it between AD54 and AD55 that he actually wrote uh the uh book of Galatians and where he wrote it uh was probably uh either in Corinth or Antioch Ephesus or Macedonia and that there's a reason why you have those options because a lot of things that uh that are said within uh the book of Galatians here um kind of refers to different things that happen in Acts different things that happen in Acts and we can place the authorship we can place the the writing uh of the book uh in that in that time frame because of the fact that of the various in incidents i mean why it was written in the first place what was the important points that uh Paul need to bring out uh in the book of Galatians because remember the church is is growing is still new the teaching is new to a lot of people uh there's a lot of things happening right now while they're uh writing the book there are a lot of people going out saying things and doing things that may or may not been appropriate at that uh at that particular time but we know that it was written at the time period of about when Acts 18 uh 18-20 was written because of the events that took place during that period of time i'm going to go to the next slide then I'm going to open up for thoughts and comments here uh when we start to look at this okay if I can get this thing to advance okay so uh when we think about the idea of where this was written and and uh the time frame was written a couple things come to mind also because if we agree that it was written in AD54 AD55 around that time frame and we agree that was written in probably written in one of the places that was noted then we and concede a couple things one that Paul actually established the churches in Galatia during his first missionary journey and this is important this is important because there is uh you'll find commentator commentary commentators out there that will say that Paul did not go to Galatia and actually did not go to many of the churches in Galatia till later but it wouldn't make much sense when we look at what goes what happens in book of acts especially with the Jerusalem council and uh the purpose of what we can see what we can glean from the scripture when we look at it when we glean from the scripture of what was going on the reason why Paul would have uh brought forward uh some of the the text that he put into this letter so it probably it makes more sense to think that Paul actually established the churches in Galatia during his first missionary journey that means when they left out of Antioch uh that Paul actually dis uh uh established the churches in Galatia then if that is true which we think that it was based on the evidence we have in Galatians 2 which we're going to go over uh as we go through the text but in Galatians 2 Paul is talking about the event of the Jerusalem Council now the thing is is what happened at Jerusalem Council is when Paul went back and he had to defend the idea of the Gentiles not having to be you know subject to the law and had others have came in and tried to disuse the issue on whether they should be subject to the law or not uh and we'll review that uh conversation as well however Galatians 2 speaks to that event which gives us the more credence to the idea that Paul established the churches in Galatia during his first missionary journey and after his first missionary journey we know that the Jerusalem council event took place and they gave out their uh what they thought that the uh Gentiles should follow so he's speaking to that in Galatians 2 that gives us a good timeline to think about when this letter was written gives us a good timeline and good setting to understand why some of the things that Paul said were said during in here in the book of Galatians you know like I said the timing everything fits to place the writing of the book after the first missionary journey and after the time that Paul had those minor confrontations with the Judaizers if you will and uh all some of the some of the other confrontations the minor disputes that I should say that occurred uh when um Peter withdrew from the uh Gentiles and so forth like that that these things probably took place before he went to Jerusalem the Jerusalem council event in uh Acts 16 took place and then 15:16 time frame took place and then he wrote the letter to the Galatians explaining what the outcome of that meeting at the Jerusalem Council uh was and that's probably where we are sitting as far as timeline is concerned and as far as how the layout of this book occurs and how the layout of the letter actually looks any thoughts or comments on that or ideas before we go on brother Peter my book my book the uh this is a book brother Herring gave me probably some of us all have this book it's called the application study Bible it says yeah it it's kind of agreeing with you right it says right exactly well approximately AD 49 is when he wrote this before the council which was in 50 that's what it says here which is what you said between 45 and 50 and that's about right yeah uh it's uh right in that time frame right in the time frame one of the things that I uh I uh noted when I I review when I was doing all the review is a lot of the commentators a lot of people that have uh written things on Galat on the book Galatians they put it all in that time frame uh but the important point here is to understand the message that is presented by Paul to the church of Galatia because we do the churches in Galatia because we do have some issues uh similar to it uh now and we can learn a lot from how Paul handled uh what happened in Galatia not so much that you know uh the the rudiments if you will uh but the things that occurred and how Paul kind of navigated through some of those issues keeping in mind that the thing that was paramount was spreading the gospel spreading the gospel ensuring nothing impeded the spread spread of the gospel so that that's what was paramount when Paul was writing his letter that's what was on his mind and continuously throughout we'll see that that is the driving thing on Paul's mind to ensure nothing impeded the spread of the gospel itself now let's look uh I got a couple of maps here so we can actually see what actually went on and this is looking at the first missionary journey the first missionary journey uh that Paul took and you can see looking at this now Paul when they left uh out um they went into Panilia they went up from there into Galatia up through uh of course uh when they uh went up to Antioch Pacia then they went to Lististra then Derby then Anconium and uh then back to Antioch and then back around through Italy and then to uh back to Antioch uh Paul's where Paul actually started the journey you can see that where everywhere that the missionary journey took them now some of the churches later are a little bit north of this and you'll see where Asia sits on the map you see where Asia sits on the map and and I want to talk about that in just a moment but you see where Asia sits on the map remember Paul at one point was told not to go into Asia and it wasn't so much that Asia should not hear the gospel at that point in time but just wasn't time for Paul to go there so one of the things and and there's something we can learn from that because God's will and God's plan takes place in God's time sometimes you know we don't always want to wait for God uh we don't always want to um allow God's will to take place and God's God to be the preeminent one in the in some of the things that we do but things have to take place in God's time uh it wasn't that people in Asia uh here on this map um were not to hear the gospel because look at the different places there a lot of the church a lot of the cities there are named in uh revelations where the churches are uh that are in Asia it was at the timing at that particular point in time Paul was not to go because he wouldn't have been able probably would not have been able to do the other things that God wanted him to do if he had went to Asia at that particular time but let's move on i have another map I want you all to look at and uh hope I didn't skip one no uh that's the next one and this um map I wanted to show because I wanted everyone to see what this looks like today what this looks like today cuz if you can remember uh what uh Galatia you know and everything was that is now Turkey it's now Turkey and you know that Paul in his first missionary journey went into Turkey but if you look over in uh what they're calling Asia Minor uh here or the eastern part of Turkey that is what is called a what's called Asia during the biblical period of time galatia being the western part of Turkey asia being the eastern part of Turkey you can see how it actually lays out one of the things I uh took note of also when I was looking at this and uh it's kind of interesting if you look at Israel the uh Judea uh and all that period all that area if you look at the map on the then time everything in green there was part of Judea or lands that were under the Jewish control if you will the Hebrews and Jewish control if you look at the now you'll see how all of that's all broken up everything has changed everything has changed significantly uh when you look at how the uh uh maps are laid out but this gives you an idea uh of uh what Paul where Paul was going and the people that he was actually dealing with uh when we look at it then uh with the names of the countries and the and the cities and so forth then then look at them now and what areas those actually were now there's a couple of other uh maps I wanted to kind of uh glance at as we were going through the introduction and this is a map of all and everybody can see this right uh this is a map of all of the um missionary journeys and you'll see something that uh here that how Paul went up into Galatia he actually went through there a couple of times you'll see how he went through Asia and went above uh and then went below uh Asia one of the things I kind of noted and uh I had to actually go back and do a little reading myself that how his missionary journeys don't actually show him going into Thotyra and he actually didn't uh there's nothing recorded that Paul actually preached in Thotyara although we know he probably visited Thotyara because of Lydia and we'll talk about that in just a moment but he there's nothing actually written said he actually preached at Zotara but uh you can see he cut across the area that we that was uh called Asia at the time and note that when he did not go into Asia at that time he went into trust uh trust i I keep saying that wrong and if you note where it is he actually went around to get there uh when he was told not to go to Asia and at the time he went on into Macedonia to teach and to preach uh from there on down into Greece and into circle back but this gives you an overview of all of Paul's travels and I I think that when we are looking at the book of Galatians and also all of the other pastoral letters and we start looking at them getting a looking at it from a holistic perspective gives us a better view gives us a better view of the of the events now remember we're talking about the spreading of the gospel and how God facilitated the spreading of the gospel and I'm gonna bring up one more map that I want you all to uh just to take you know uh a look at this one this map is not marked in that way because this map is actually the trade routes at the time and looking at the trade route at the time you can see God's hand in all everything you can see God's hand because the area that we're looking at uh is right there if you all can see my cursor right there at the Mediterranean Sea where you have the loop right there is the area where Paul did most of his teaching and preaching all the way over into Italy and across Athens looking at this map God had the dis the apostles and Paul's teaching and preaching right in the center of the trade of the world everybody came through that area everything came through that area if you wanted a message to get out if you wanted some type of teaching and some type of knowledge to get out over the entire known world is exactly where God had it go from now this is this is not a mistake and a lot of people think that you know it you know I I I amazed at this point in my life when people think that uh that some of the things that we believe are are not backed up in fact and not backed up in in in uh reality in some cases you could not there is no way that you could have planned this there is no way that you can have you could this this happened by chance there's no way that any of this just fell into place god's plan for the entire world to hear the gospel was built from the creation and people who had no knowledge of God went to where the gospel was being preached and where the gospel was being taught so the entire world had the opportunity to get the message if just look at that i mean you cannot uh you cannot make this stuff up i'm going to go back one and you see right in here uh the area where Antioch is and Syria and all this is exactly where that turning point of the trade routes were so that everybody who bought and sold everybody who did business everybody who did business had the opportunity and had exposure to the gospel message this had to be part of God's plan uh a couple things to to notice from them uh when we look at this and it says we're in uh uh just an introduction here to the book of Galatians that like I said the original land uh area of Israel how it took up that entire that entire area uh there is a correlation between the missionary routes and the trade routes god put the message where it was going to get out where people were going to hear it where the whole world could be exposed to the gospel you know so many so many times uh people especially our denominational brothers and sisters out there think that there was there's so much mystical or so so so many things that that are supernatural that occurred to get the message out or all but God did not need to do and God does not need to do supernatural mystical things to get the word out he created this he created all of it you know he put it all in motion he used what was already here what was already in place to get the word out and he does that today even in us he uses us to get the word out to get the message to teach the word to teach the message to show his love to everyone just like he used the people then to spread the word to spread the gospel to spread the good news of salvation he does the same thing over and over and over again and the thing is is we just need to accept the fact that this world is his he created it he created he put the plan in place and everything everything worked to the good of those who believe just like what Paul was saying it worked to the good of those who believe and you can see it laid out when you look at the maps we can look at the history you can see how things kind of played out you can even see how and why Paul had to end up in Rome again if you look back remember the map the location of Asia and Trout how Paul actually went around in order to get there to get over to Macedonia and you notice that as I point out that Thotyra is omitted from Paul's missionary journeys however although we have no record no record of him preaching in Thotara we know that um he visited Thotara because uh the scripture and uh kind of indicates that he went to Lydia's house in uh Acts 16 uh I think it's 16:15 we'll look at that in just a moment uh and uh and brother Pinkleton yes go ahead good evening this is Yes sir this is Tina Fox um this is directly aligned with Jesus's great commission to the apostles when he told them to go out into all the world so that gives me a better um understanding of them going into all the world thank you yeah uh it is it is how it fits it fits together i mean it's remarkable nobody could have dreamed this this had to come from God this had to come from God nobody could have dreamed think about the time i mean they were still trying to figure out how to get water uh to different places they couldn't have and people couldn't have come up with this type of plan and have it all just coales right at the right time understand a lot of you know there's a lot of talk about when Jesus came uh and all this types of Jesus came right at the perfect time in the perfect place to the perfect people so that the message that God wanted to get out to the entire world would get out it would get out and do I mean it is it it is amazing it it is wonderful it is it is I mean it's beyond our ability to even comprehend sometimes how God planned all this from the beginning of time before any of us before any of it ever existed he planned it he laid it out he We made it the perfect way so it's just amazing to me i mean every time I think about it it's just such amazing to me any other thoughts or comments about any of this anything at all you hear me John yeah I I just wanted to say along with uh Tina's point uh that we also see in Galatians 4 and 4 that we later see in the book that God moved at the fullness of time meaning those trade routes and those roads that the Romans made possible also made possible the gospel going out into all the world exactly exactly they did not know that they were serving God uh the whole silk road uh and if you look at the you know digital history books the whole silk road was not there to move goods it was there to move the gospel that's what God had the plan for it was there to move the gospel and it did it did uh it's just amazing like I said that when you look at it it's just amazing uh how God used the simple things the simple things to spread the gospel to to bring the word bring the good news to people and you know he still does he does still does now I want to uh mention a little bit more like I said a bit more about uh with thy here uh and uh we uh uh can can look at this look at this i was looking at the uh the comments i appreciate the comments in the chat but jump in there and um you know anybody have any comments any thoughts share share but a couple things here um I wanted to kind of point out um also that the again the Bible doesn't really speak on that um Paul preached Thotara but he did meet Lydia he did meet Lydia and she was from Thotyra who and became a a key figure there in the church in Potara and also you know um it says that the opens opened Lydia's heart to believe and she and her family members were converted they were baptized now most of the scholars believe that Lydia and her family members they don't really talk about her family they don't name her family in the scripture or who it was but they believe that that influence probably brought brought the gospel to Thotyra but uh it's also believed that the church in Ephes was in Ephesus for a couple years and that when he was there that that church uh actually empowered or supported the church to grow in Thotyra and if you look into that it's just a little bit if you want to do some deep studying uh it actually is a model there how churches stronger churches actually seated other churches and brought him up there's actually a model there uh that you know that is believed to have taken place uh but keep in mind and we're uh going back that that statement where Paul was prohibited from going into Asia but he reported later in Acts 19:10 that all the people all the inhabitants in the province of Asia everybody in Asia Jews and Greeks had heard the word of the Lord so he was able to get out he was able to get that out so again you can see that this was not a prohibition based on anything uh negative per se it was more of a timing thing doing everything in God's time doing everything according to God's plan thoughts comments i don't want to do all the talking here we got plenty of time god's ways are not our ways neither his thoughts our thoughts exactly exactly and uh this even that even applies to Paul when we think about it you know because Paul probably wanted to go probably wanted to keep that preaching going but he had to wait on God just like we do we have to wait on God now uh when we think about Thotyara uh again I don't want I'm not going to belver the point but I do want to mention uh where Thotyra is mentioned prominently and that was in revelations as one of the churches in re revelations it wasn't the worst off um but uh Thotara had some issues had some issues that kind of grew up in that area uh and they did a lot of good work they they show they were a loving uh congre loving church and everything but they did have some issues with false doctrine uh being taught uh and this things do when we start looking at that we have to be very careful about that there's some issue with false doctrine being taught and and people not uh adhering to what directly what the scripture says that's basically what was going on there when you have people that uh should not be teaching and uh uh teaching uh things that are not uh according uh to God's will so that's basically what happened when we look at the uh things in in Revelations but I think that when we look at the writing to the church in Thotyra in Revelations I think that you should not you know overly focus on the the negative but look at verse 24 uh and following when it says "But you I say and unto the rest of thy tyra as many have not this doctrine and which have not known the depths of Satan as they speak I will put hold on you none put upon you none other burden but that which you already hold fast till I come and he that overcomes and keeps my works into the end to him I will I give power over nations and he shall rule them with a rod of iron and the vessels of a potter shall be broken to shivers even as I receive uh Steve my father and I will give him the morning star he that have here ear to hear he that have an ear let him hear what the spirit says to the churches in other words he's saying those that even in the depths of things when things aren't going right those who are able to repent and come back to God that he is not going to forsake them even in the depths of different things that go on but it's just interesting uh when you look at the missionary journeys and all these type of things when you start to look at all the events that took place it's interesting where these churches pop up and where these uh things are are said and and looking at how God interacted with them from the beginning and how he interacted with them on a continuous basis okay now let's get back to our introduction here uh any thoughts or comments before I go on and back to our introduction here then the purpose of this letter why did Paul write the letter to the Galatians first and foremost to prevent the perversion of the gospel message the gospel is plain the gospel is simple you know just telling the word and the and the will of God exactly as it's written for us and exactly as it was put forth you know by by Paul and the apostles is extremely important so many people both then and now want to put yolks on people want to put people in bondage wants to put all these different things uh on people that actually perverts or actually changes the message of the gospel or adds to the message of the gospel that make it difficult for people to obey makes it difficult for people to come to God and make people shy away from the truth that we find in in Jesus Christ and the liberty that we have in Jesus Christ once again when I I said to the acts class on on on Sunday when we start speaking of liberty that we have in Christ that's not a get out of jail free card it is not a uh do whatever you want to do type thing it is you know this is why uh Romans 6 uh verses 1 and two are written you know uh shall we cons shall we continue sin so that grace may abound God forbid we died to sin we died to sin we don't want to take on that yoke of bondage again so the thing is is the liberty that we have in Christ should be celebrated but that liberty should not be a encouragement or a thought that you can or that not you but that that a thought that one can continue to sin uh that is not what the liberty in Christ actually means any thoughts or comments nothing at all okay but anyway uh that's was the number one thing that Paul wanted to get across when he did this letter make sure that per that the there was no perversion of gospel message the simple gospel message the message the death burial resurrection of Jesus Christ the salvation message you know that had to be clear and unfettered he wrote it to count to counter the Judaizers the Judaizers were trying to put all these different things and uh we actually had discussion before these people were not evil people they just had a belief system that they thought needed to be upheld and we need to keep that in mind also when we run into folks that may not believe quite like we do it's not that they're bad people it's just they have these belief systems that may not be exactly accurate uh and these Judaizers a lot of them fell into that category they just had a belief system that they believe that if you're going to be in God or you're going to come to God that you have to meet these certain criteria but that's not what Jesus said jesus basically said us to come to come to him as we are you know all we have to do is believe we have to repent and be baptized to come into to to Christ we don't have to meet some criteria uh that they have uh he wants to sell the idea of circumcision sell the idea get get rid of that you know it's being honest and being truthful well that would be a big barrier to a lot of folks uh you know to to come into Christ they thought that circumcision was required a lot of folks not not you know a lot of people you know from traveling the world i'm tell a lot of people don't that's not something that they would consider so the thing is he had to settle that issue of circumcision not being required to be in Christ he had to confirm that the gospel was from God that it wasn't of any man it wasn't of any man at all uh it was of God okay uh and and this is a a thing that we have um uh it actually came up earlier this week in a discussion I was in earlier this week uh or excuse me late last week uh one of the issues that came up that was that the Jews had a problem uh with was making sure that everything that they were saying was from God and one of the examples of that is in Jewish literature they say Elijah and their their words are Elijah raised the widow's son from the dead as Christians we know God raised the widow's son from the dead elijah was the vessel elijah was the messenger if you will but it was the power of God that raised the widow son the thing is is it's easy uh in some areas especially when you think about the Middle Eastern mindset to confuse or to move away from the message being of a man and the message being of God this is one of the reasons why Paul came back and said some say of the Apollos and some say of Peter and some say of Paul the thing is is you don't want that you got to get men out of the way the gospel he wanted to confirm that the gospel message was from God the other reason uh he wrote the epistle was to validate his apostilhip he had to establish his apostilhip again this is not a message that's coming from someone or some earthly uh reasoning or anything like that this is a message that is coming from God and this is a person appointed by God to carry that message forward and then finally one of the things that is very important to us when we start looking at why the book of Galatians is written is the book of Galatians is a beautiful explanation and common language common sense or we can look at and we can hold on to explanation of the relationship between the old and new covenants paul had to establish that because of the fact a little bit from the Judaizers and a little bit from others that were bringing in things of the old and that gave the possibility of corrupting the new uh because of the fact that if you didn't have that understanding of that relationship if you didn't have an understanding that Christ actually fulfilled the law and when we use that terminology Christ fulfilled the law he didn't just throw it away he fulfilled it he fulfilled the law and built that relationship that that continuity of God from the old to the new people had to understand that uh go ahead Glattus okay that's very good um Paul is this is quite interesting you know Paul he didn't he didn't get to study and walk with Jesus like those three years as the um the other the 12 did right and even after he was converted I mean he spent some time in with in Antioch with was the church of Antioch I think with Barnabas and the people who were there but I can't remember how long that was i know it's in the book of Acts somewhere mhm um but this is just so profound to think about when we studying now Galatians and all of these things he's telling these people how and some of the stuff that he taught was even better than some of the ones it seems like was in Jerusalem about what Christ was really all about mhm what is that implication for people today who don't maybe go to um go to I guess theology schools or divinity schools or whatever and to be able to so quickly after being converted like this is Paul an example for that today for people who I mean it's This to me it's it's just mindboggling how he is expressing the the the real Christianity what it is all about and even with these people where he was before he was one of those Judaizers whatever you want to call them who are against Christ and now he is expressing it better than just about anybody all the other people definitely is the implication today um do should we even expect to have these kind of people today to be able to be converted and be able to express Christianity the way he did well and that excellent point and I brought up the scripture everybody can everybody see that it's it's Acts 26 and and looking at uh verse 12 and following yes okay paul actually speaks to that a little bit you know when he was explaining to King Agria uh what happened uh look at this words that he has attributed to the words that you see in red are attributed to to Christ and he said "Saul Saul why persecutes thou me it's hard for you to kick against the pricks." And like I said it's hard for you to go against you know God's will here and then look what else he says back and in and uh on in the 16 he said I am Jesus who have persecuted but rise and stand in fear and I have appeared unto thee for this purpose now he's saying he has come he saw Jesus said I have appeared to uh to you for this purpose to make minister and witness of these things which thou hast seen in other words you've seen these things you've seen Jesus you've also seen the things that are going on around you but look at that next statement and of those things in which I will appear unto thee in other words God is going to provide more information more teaching more revelation more information for Paul to go on in other words God is going to provide everything that he needs to pursue the ministry that he was putting forward to to him he's going to give he was going to equip Paul for everything he needed to do the message there also is that God not only going to equip Paul for everything that he needed to do to carry out his ministry God will equip anyone that he calls to put into a ministerial role or to carry out some task or some some of his will he's going to equip you but hey John yeah and I do you remember you remember and it seems like a hundred years ago when I was standing before y'all oh pray for me folks and I appreciate y'all's prayers listen but John you know when he was standing before Fesus Felix said Paul you're out of your mind and I always picture Paul as being just so full of the Holy Spirit and common sense and saying I'm not out of my mind right the Lord was using this man because he was a Pharisee right this man was a Pharisee of Pharisees he was he was persecuting the church of the living God he was persecuting the Christians and Jesus himself chose this man because he was and when he sto when he told the story before counsel and before Felix and before Fesus he was saying basically the same thing you know everything that y'all know about Moses and the law i know too exactly i know i'm telling you this man who was prophesied and discussed is the man Jesus i'm here to tell you this but of course of course there was so much at stake for these people to follow that because they were so set up in their hierarchies they had a lot to lose but they didn't realize how much they had to gain if they followed the gospel exactly exactly right and Paul Paul was telling so but Paul said "Hey I want to appeal my case before Caesar." He could have they could have let him go because he was really guilty of nothing right that was against the law as far as Roman law right so but the man the man was chosen by Jesus himself because of who he was and if I can if Jesus said "If I could be converted to Christianity all of y'all could be Yeah exactly a little bit more when you start looking at this um remember Philippians 1:6 God is able to bring to completion that good work which he starts in you." In other words if he puts you on a pathway he's going to enable you to be able to complete what he puts you on the pathway for okay and and I use this example and this is not I I I I don't want to be offensive to anybody but I use the example I've used example before and that is brother Garnier i've used this example before look at his parents and look at his upbringing then look at the things that happened to him as far as his career was concerned and all the things he had to learn and all the things he went through that sharpened him to a point that when God was ready for him to assume even bigger roles he was ready he was ready god does that it's the same thing he did with Paul paul was he was groomed all the way up and when it was time for him to assume that bigger role he was ready he was ready to do that you know God does that if you look back you can see God's hand you can see how he operates you can see how he moves through these things that God will bring to completion that good work which he started in you he will bring it to completion he will equip you to do exactly what he needs you to do according to his will and his good pleasure and see all we have to do is believe him all we have to do is is stay in him abide in him and when I say abide in him that means do his will do his work a and and and you know keep ourselves free from the stains of the world that's all we have to do now I I don't want to be disrespectful so we're going to have to cut off but I want to open up for any uh final comments and any thoughts before we close out yeah i I just wanted to say folks uh thank y'all for your prayers i really appreciate them um I'm I'm moving along slowly uh got to go back and do a little bit little bit more therapy and all that kind of stuff but I just appreciate everybody's prayers and and and your thoughts and your cards and all these things it's just wonderful i mean y'all are a wonderful church i'm gonna tell you right now and I am so pleased and honored to be a part of this body so just thank you for what you what you do and brother Pinkan thank you for what you do brother Johnson and all of you so those are my comments any thoughts comments brother thank this is uh Mary Jones i just want to say thank you for the information you provided tonight in terms of the background and the foundation it's been very helpful thank you thank you any other thoughts comments thank you thank you well we'll pick up right here on uh next week i thank everybody for being here as now it's time for us to move on over to uh the devotional i think I can get started thank you for everybody thank you good night good night good night good night good night good night everybody good night good night everybody good night good night good night thank you all i'm proud very very important information definitely very important information thank you no problem all right i'll see you all uh next time
