Welcome back to our Andalusia road trip.
Today we make our way towards Granada, one of Spain's most visited tourist
cities and the heart of Andalusia but to get there we first need to navigate our
way through the stunning Spanish Countryside. When we do arrive it's to one of the most
amazing views we've ever had from a hotel. "Look at the view oh my God we are right there
oh my gosh this is amazing holy moly oh my" If you stay until the end I'll show you how we're able to stay in this incredible
accommodation for just $8 night Time for another day on the road. I'm joking this
is a one way road so I can't leave you behind [Music] Antiquera oh my God beautiful we
spent most of our time working here but nevertheless stunning but today we're
heading to Granada we're going to take the small roads like we love and hopefully
find some beautiful spots so let's go [Music] Antiquera was a surprisingly beautiful town we've
only stayed here because uh the apartment we got for really good deal and it was big and we could
get some work done which we desperately needed to do but surprisingly this town is stunning
like absolutely gorgeous and if you're on a road trip I highly recommend staying in this
town because it's affordable and beautiful and it seems like there's not really any tourists
like it's just locals which I think is why we got such a good deal on the apartment
definitely add Antiquera to your list. So today we're making our way to Granada which
I'm very excited about because we've met quite a few Spanish people along the way and every
single one of them has said to us that we have to go to Granada so I'm really excited to see
this city and see like what is it about Granada that everybody loves so much this mountain looks
so much like a face looks exactly like a man lying down Max lying down show me your profile oh my
God that mountain is you I'm The Rock [Music] oh my God we found some donkeys they're so
cute I wish we had a carrot or something to give them and there sheep there's goats and
there's sheep and there's donkeys Country Road guys so beautiful here so we've been trying
to take the Country Roads instead of taking the main High highways even though it is taking
us a lot longer we have the time it's just nice like they're like narrow winding roads through
Countryside you don't get to see donkeys on the highway hello hi oh aren't you pretty hello
all right you guys ready we'll take a selfie right uh okay thank you for being my
friend I would love to have a farm one day just to like not like a working farm
but just like have some donkeys maybe some goats and like some chickens
to give us some eggs I don't know maybe we even have a cow that you milk
and we make our own milk I don't know [Music] you [Music] [Music] the drive to Granada has been absolutely
stunning actually the entire road trip in Spain has been stunning there's never
been a moment where we've been sick of the views they're always amazing and I
think the fact that we're not going on the highway is very much helping
with that but gosh it's just so beautiful oh no no you can't but maybe I can
where's our home left here well it says it's [Music] right okay we made it to Granada and
we found somewh to park the car because it's very expensive parking in the city it was around
the €18 per day we've parked 2 km out of the city for 8 a day so huge saving which is awesome it
just means now we have to walk 2 km in 28° heat to get to our hotel but it's okay because once
we're there we're staying right in the center of Granada and hopefully our hotel will be
incredible that's a little special surprise that Max doesn't know about excited so we're
just going to go check in and then it's time to find some lunch I still don't know where we're
going still making our way there I'm very curious now hello are you looking for the

my God so cool look at the view oh my God we are right there oh my gosh
this is amazing holy moly oh my god wow look at that oh nice oh my god I've never had a view like
this this has to be one of the best views in all Granada like oh my God oh my God that is insane
Jaclyn that is seriously insane same wow wow wow wow now we are hungry now so food time
the craziest thing is we're only paying $850 Australian dollar per night
for that hotel I'll show you share with you how we were able to do that
a little later on first things first we're starving we need some [Music]
lunch so cute oh my God I could live here graas right we found a restaurant they
do a menu of the day for €1 15 which is not too bad s r say a cheap deal for our parking
and for our apartment we're more than happy to spend €1 15 on lunch we might even get a glass
of wine I'm getting around wow relax everybody Salud so it turns out our 15 menu actually
includes a glass of wine or a beer which was very surprising but very delightful in Europe all
the time they just bring this giant board and sit it next to your table and I just love it it's
so good oh my God it looks incredible there've been very much road trip Vibes like making
sandwiches getting stuff from the groceries we really haven't eaten out so this is why this
is so exciting there so much herbs on these tomatoes so good wow gracias [Music] so after our quick lunch we ended up
walking around exploring a little bit and just enjoying the beautiful city
cuz it's really gorgeous stunning the architecture in this city amazing like we
just walked up to that building look at this wow it's a bank okay it's bank but
it's also really really hot yeah there's a sign there that says 34 and it's only
late May yeah summer time here must be crazy we should come have lunch here one day
it's so nice so we have all day tomorrow to explore so for now we're taking a chill we're
just wandering around getting the vibe of the city Vibes are good love it we're going to go
grab some snacks and some wine because that beautiful apartment and that beautiful you he's
appreciating so we're going to go appreciate it two hours later but look
at this just set up AO look at that I don't think there's anywhere you
could Top This view this is our bedroom right there Prett nice up: CL we did come
home to get cozy cuz it was very hot and sweaty out out there so I said earlier I would
explain why we're only paying $8.50 per night for this incredible room with this amazing
view well we actually have this American Express Platinum travel credit card now this
travel credit card is kind of expensive it's actually $1,450 per ANM for your card fee
which seems Bonkers why would you ever pay that much but you do get a lot of benefits

exactly what we did so this hotel was actually $467 per night so that's why we're paying just $17

seen us have a really fancy and delicious lunch out as well and that lunch was totally free thanks

so when you actually break down the cost you're getting so much value that the cost is kind of
